Excelente comida, sabores diferentes! O melhor pão Nah que já comi até hoje.
A sala é grande e tem um ambiente familiar. Os funcionários são uma simpatia. Fiz reserva. O tempo de espera pela comida foi um pouco longa, mas acredito que tenha sido pelo dia em si (Dia da Mãe).

I live in Porto and I was missing Moroccan food a lot, that's why I traveled all the way down to Lisbon to find that gem, it was a real pleasure and the food was SO GOOD..

Loved it! We ordered the tarka dal and the veal and veg tajine, both of which were very flavourful and delicious. Harissa soup as a starter was also good. Moroccan tea with baklava was a great way to finish the meal.
The prices were very reasonable.
The only problem we had was that it's not possible to pay by card (you could only pay with a card if it was Portuguese). But there is an ATM within a few minutes of the restaurant.
The staff are friendly and the interior was beautiful.

HALAL FOOD!
Traveled almost 350KM from Algarve/Albufeira to try this gem at the heart of lisbon and boy were we in for a treat. On walking in, the already busy staff did not hesitate in getting us seated.
As a muslim i had to complete one of my late prayers, after a chat with the jokey manager (5 Euros a prayer apparently hahahah) one of the kind ladies directed me to a room at the back.
The food was great, Moroccan with a Portuguese touch. Ordered the Chicken Tagine and the Fish Bastilla and for drinks we had Morrocan tea which is a must and desi tea...yes, Indian Desi tea which was so good i didnt know if i was in Marrakesh or in Mumbai.
Thank you Mustafa, your food was great and you have a very great team of staff!

Restaurante Marroquino top em Lisboa, comida muito boa, fez-me viajar até Marrakesh com as tagines. Apesar de ter comida Indiana e Marroquina foi a comida Marroquina que me fez vir experimentar e não me arrependi pedi tagine de carne com ameixas e estavaa divinal. Recomendo a quem quer experimentar os sabores marroquinos.

The food was excellent, the employees were really nice and welcoming and the prices were more than correct. I went there with my boyfriend and we’ve had an amazing experience. We will definitely come back and bring some friends.

Simply outstanding. From the Moroccan menu we had the eggplant salad (Salade de Zaalouk) and the Fish Bastila (Bastila dyal lhout), which is fish and shrimp with fine noodles wrapped in phyllo dough; and from the Indian menu we had the garlic nan and the Daal Gosh (beef with lentils, onions, tomatoes, ginger, and garlic. Also the Morrocan tea. For dessert, we split a dish of pistachio ice cream. Not only was the food to die for, the service was amazing. Warm and friendly atmosphere. A most memorable meal. Bravo.

Recently i enjoyed my 2 weeks vacation in lisbao. And the only place i could eat at was this amazing restaurant! The people were nice, the food was amazing. I am somebody who knows the food they serve really well, and after 1 taste i had the feeling i was eating at home. And this is only the food!
The restaurant gave me a warm feeling, the people who work there are just the nicest people alive. They try to serve your food in around 15 minutes. The (amazing) price and the quality you get is just outstanding!
If you ever visit lisbao don't forget to eat at this restaurant. You won't forget it and you might return multiple times!

Delicious food and lovely service. Menus also in English, great for us as tourists, and waiter happy to explain dishes to us and even help our clueless brains with pronouncing dishes. Food was hot and fresh and they were happy to do a takeaway container when we couldn't finish my highly recommend Marrakesh for morrocan and Indian halal food, and even had nice desserts!

We were out looking for dinner and came across this gem. We had three different tagines, all of which were very good. For dessert, I had baklava and date ice cream. The baklava was a bit dry (I prefer it dripping with honey), but the date ice cream was a totally new flavor and quite good.

I was there on 10th dec 2018 at 20:40. The flair at beginning was authentic.The lamps are originally morrocan also the rest of the decoration.You will find the magical feeling of morocco. We ordered a tagine with prunes and almond and a kafta machwi ( grilled minced meat). The food had at first a delicious view. The tagine was not served in a traditional tagine like usually in morocco. But the taste was very good. A mix of well coocked onions with the sweetness of the prunes (really good). And then I looked at the kafta....from this point, everything was going bad. The meat was extremely dry. This for 9 € without any sides, is definitely overpriced. Also the meat was not well spiced (no salt and no herbs). Nobody asked for additional drinks or about the taste.I was surprised, because that is not the real moroccan mentality (I'm moroccan, I know us very well). Also I ordered moroccan tea, but I wished I would have not. Very less mint and black tea, so that the taste was like hot water. That is very sad, because we tooked time and some miles to get there. I hope that the owner will read this here. Please make your service with a smile. I missed that. And then serve authentic food, that means taste it before you serve it.

O restaurante é pequeno mas, tem um ambiente agradável. Os colaboradores são simpáticos. Experimentei o tagine de vitela e gostei e o chá marroquino também não é mau. Também experimentei a chamuça de vitela e pão tradicional mas não achei grande coisa. Em geral foi uma experiência agradável

Brilliant food. Ordered the lentil soup and the vegetarian tagine and was pleasantly impressed. The service is excellent too. For all non-Portugese people, please see the Portuguese website for their menu and prices as the other languages do not show the correct prices.

Nice surprise that they do Indian food too! We couldn't decide so we got a classic from each menu. Chicken tagine (Morrocan) and Chicken Biryani (Indian). Both were done beautifully. Let's put it this way; the tagine was so beautifully done that it fell apart using light force with a spoon! The interior is very nicely themed & clean... Got to be the cleanist toilets I've used in Lisbon so far in 4 days! Great staff & service. Highly recommended!

Entre cuisine indienne et marocaine on ne sais pas ou on se trouve.
Aucun apéritif de disponible, cuisine trop grasse et sans goût et les desserts ne sont pas dipossible.
Le bouquet final fut le refus de notre carte visa pour le paiement.
Il faudrait au minimums prévenir le Client avant de le servir.
Le restaurant est également trop bruyant digne d'une cantine scolaire et le service trop long.
A éviter, d'autres restaurants plus typiques plus bas dans la rue sont nettement mieux.

Dîner catastrophique, un restau marocain qui propose des plats indiens, cherchez l erreur, un temps d attente stratosphérique, choix des desserts non honoré, un thé à la menthe digne d' une infusion lipton, et cerise sur le gâteau une fois a la caisse, ils nous disent qu''ils prennent que les cartes de crédit portugaises ! Bref éviter et fuyez ce gourbi qui n'a rien d'orientale.

Experiência interessante. Não haverá muitos restaurantes que apresentem pratos indianos e marroquinos. Infelizmente tinha poucos Clientes pelo que o ambiente não era o mais simpático. A comida indiana estava boa. Irei voltar para experimentar a marroquina.

Restaurante de comida halal, es decir de acuerdo a las creencias musulmanas, por lo que destaca su autenticidad en las preparaciones. Las porciones son muy abundantes por lo que asegúrese de dejar espacio para finalizar con un té marroquí. Precios moderados, eso si, solo aceptan tarjetas emitidas en Portugal.

Gostei bastante da decoração e do ambiente. Com uma carta de comida marroquina e outra Indiana, os preços são assessiveis e para além disso há todos os dias um menu de almoço a 7,50€ com uma opção de prato indiano ou marroquino.

Restaurant assez décevant. Nous pensions redécouvrir la cuisine traditionnelle marocaine faite maison mais on nous a servie un plat de poulet plein d’huile et de frites industrielles dans un tajine (donc pas de cuisson sur tajine).
Il faut compter payer le pain et l’eau en plus (même en carafe..)
Le nan était bon.
à voir peut-être que la partie cuisine indienne est mieux maîtrisée..

Certes ce n'est pas le meilleur resto marocain du monde, mais pour Lisbonne il se défend vraiment bien. Le personnel est sympa et parle plusieurs langues dont le français. Niveau budget c'est raisonnable et vraiment ce qui m'a fait chavirer ce sont leur naan !!!! quand vous commandez un naan pour une personne il est plus grand qu'une assiette ! Et par contre ça ils le maîtrise à merveille Un conseil prenez en 1 pour 2 c'est laaaaaaargement suffisant si vous comptez enchainer avec un couscous ou un tajine j'avais commandé un tajine de poulet il me semble avec frite et il était présenté comme sur la photo. C'était bon mais sans plus. À voir pour les autres plats ☺

I can't understand this good reviews. Especially the couscous I would avoid. 10€ for basically dry couscous with a few pieces of meet and vegetables what tastes like nothing. Staff is very slow. I had to order the bill twice even though two of the staff had nothing to do.

Stumbled across this on the way back from an unsatisfactory meal at another restaurant. Topped up with two delicious samosas. The next evening we had a great meal consisting of both Moroccan and Indian authentic dishes, at a great price with friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We eat here quite often. The food is really tasty, both the Moroccan and Indian varieties. The staff is friendly and attentive, but not necessarily quick, this is definitely a place to go to when you know you will take your time. I would recommend trying the complete couscous as well as the beef with prunes and almonds. When the weather is good, they have a nice esplanade slightly distanced from the busy street.

Medium food. From the one hand nothing special, very low on spicing and the chicken couscous was dry. From the other hand- seems fresh and the dishes are good sized. Prices are in the medium range- but personally I won't go back.

I had to travel to Lisbon this May 19 for work (which coincided with the month of Ramadhan); and was very pleased with the quality of food and service at this restaurant. I’d recommend the tagine lahm wal barquq (tagine lamb and dried prunes); it was great! the service was excellent.

Parfait, au premier abord la grande variété du menu (marocain ET indien) fait un peu peur, on se demande si la qualité va suivre, mais finalement tous les plats que nous avons pris étaient excellents et généreux. Un personnel en plus adorable.

Confeção cuidada e deliciosa (só posso responder pela comida Indiana que foi a escolhida).
O preço é aceitável para a qualidade.
As sobremesas típicas não foram do meu agrado, mas poderá ser uma questão de gosto pessoal.

Je m’y suis rendu en famille et franchement pas déçus du tout. Tout est frais, les plats sont chaud et ont surtout du goût qu’est ce que ça fais plaisir d’avoir un bon resto Marocain sur lisbonne. Vous pouvez y allez les yeux fermer et pourtant je suis très exigeant.

Great atmosphere, amazing decor and awesome food. The service was perfect, the prices were ok and I specially loved the coconut milk panacotta with mango gel on top: fresh and delicious. The washroom is a great selfie location, by the way. Must-try whenever you are in Lisbon.

My wife and I went on Christmas Eve for the set menu which was really good. Very reasonably priced and the food was delicious. The Staff are so friendly and cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable!

Je suis vraiment satisfait de tous les plats que j'ai mangé j'ai passé 10 jours à Lisbonne je mangeais tout le temps chez lui je n'ai aucun regret service rapide toutes est frais la nourriture arrive chaude le restaurant et accessible par bus il se trouve dans un quartier dynamique et populaire je vous conseille aller manger les yeux fermés les serveurs ils sont super gentil souriant et dynamique je recommande vivement.

Très bon restaurant à ne pas manquer pour ceux qui souhaitent découvrir ou redécouvrir la cuisine marocaine. Il propose également des plats indien, l'occasion de mixer les deux cuisines. Pedimos pela aplicação Glovo 3 pratos cujos preços foram a partir de 10 euros cada. Após a entrega verificamos diversos problemas com a comida. Os pratos vieram com pouca comida, não há acompanhamento, nem mesmo de arroz (pelo preço deveria), não haviam carnes suficiente nos pratos de borrego e vitela, e as poucas que foram servidas estavam cheias de gordura. Um dos pratos era extremamente picante e na aplicação não havia qualquer especificação sobre isso. Efim, nos arrependemos completamente. Jamais voltaremos a comprar deste restaurante.

Very good food, and very good service. There are two menus to order from, an Indian menu and a Moroccan menu. Both have lots to choose from. I only had Indian, but it was fantastic.bif I had more time, I would return to try the Moroccan food. Prices were also decent, and it was close to the art museum. Loved it!

Not only is this one of the best restaurants in Lisbon, it's one of the best Moroccan and/or Indian restaurants I've ever been to (and I've had Moroccan cuisine (restaurant and home cooking) all over the world). We tried Restaurante Marrakesh on our last night holidaying in Lisbon and to be honest I wish we had discovered it sooner. They provide two menus - one with Moroccan food and one with Indian food which is quite genius and not something I've seen before. We couldn't fault a thing. Everything was cooked to perfection. We tried the chicken tagine with olives and potatoes and the veal tagine w/ almonds and prunes. We also had the chicken tikka from the Indian food menu. Everything was very fresh and the meat was so tender and juicy. We tried to stick to eating traditional Portuguese food throughout our holiday but we weren't very keen on the codfish no matter how many times we tried it or how it was prepared and we enjoyed our meal here far more than some of the more traditional places which are revered on some of the Lisbon food travel guides you'll find online and on YouTube. The prices here are also incredibly reasonable, the service is top notch and the staff here are really friendly. I only wish they had a place in London (please come open up here!) I will definitely be back for more if I revisit Lisbon. For any readers in Lisbon, you owe it to yourself to track down and try this place!

This was the first meal we had when we arrived in Lisboa - and it was amazing. The best food I've had on this trip thus far, and we have been to 8 cities in Spain and two in Portugal. I had the tandoori chicken with a side of basmati rice and Moroccan hot tea. The staff was also very friendly. Will be coming back!

Ficou aquém das minhas expectativas - a tajine de borrego trazia apenas 2 pedacinhos de carne e a imperial já não estava boa, estava quase morta e já não sabia bem. Fomos aconselhados a não pedir o vinho da casa pela pessoa que nos atendeu, pois "de certeza que não iríamos gostar". O espaço é agradável e as pessoas bastante simpáticas.

Algo desconfiado de um restaurante que se diz marroquino/indiano optámos pela lista marroquina. Comemos chamuças razoáveis seguidas por vitela com ameixas e couscous completo. A vitela estava demasiado cozinhada e o couscous acompanhante banal.
O couscous completo estava razoável.
Nas bebidas ficámos baralhados porque a opção de não ter alcool não é total, há vinho só a copo, branco da casa e rosé Lancers, e cerveja.
Comemos um doce marroquino que tinha melhor aspeto do que sabor.
Pagámos 15€ por cabeça.

The overall experience was nice but something was missing, let's see: the food (beef tagine, chicken couscous) was very good including the desserts (rice pudding cigarre, Moroccan ice cream); the service was nice but slow and with some flaws over what was ordered (some communication issues); the place is nice with around the world customers but very uncomfortable with tiny space between tables and chairs; it's not cheap; so the value is only fair. Maybe I'll give it a second chance.

Um Restaurante onde não servem bebidas alcoólicas? Na minha opinião, não vai durar... Esmagadora maioria dos Portugueses gosta de acompanhar a refeição com um copo de vinho ou uma cerveja... Pelo menos, podiam anunciar essa particularidade de imediato no menu do exterior... Mas, como me aconteceu, só depois de estar sentado e de ter encomendado soube da triste limitação. Não estamos em Marrocos, caso não tenham reparado.
Insisto: avisem no exterior. É uma questão de honestidade.
