Nice hotel in a great location. Very nicely appointed rooms and impressive decor. Offers a different experience to large hotel chains, no 24 hour room service, multiple restaurants or bars but a relaxed and friendly atmosphere which is much nicer. Plenty of eating options nearby. Recommended, a splendid place.

Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato per tre notti in questo delizioso hotel vicino al centro di Lisbona...quando siamo arrivati ci ha accolto Claudia simpaticissima è gentilissima che ci ha mostrato la camera è ci ha fatto trovare una bottiglia di vino in camera per festeggiare il nostro anniversario di nozze...siamo stati benissimo e consigliamo questo hotel caldamente a tutti

Wunderschönes altes Haus mitten im Zentrum. Tolle Zimmer, die aber zur Straße raus am Wochenende Ohropax erfordern. Claudia ist eine perfekte Gastgeberin.

Highly recommend staying here. It is centrally located with 10 rooms which makes this hotel more intimate. Also It is very tastefully decorated and the breakfast is great! Everyone was very helpful! A gem!

Die Lage ist für Unternehmungen sehr gut, nur bisschen laut wenn man Strassenlärm nicht gewohnt ist. Das gesamte Personal ist hervorragend, freundlichen, zuvorkommend, bemüht und gibt gute Tipps. Frühstück: super, Zimmer +Räume sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gepflegt. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

A very nice hotel but situated in a non-desirable location
Good:
- The rooms were spacious, updated, and has a ☕ maker
- Friendly, English speaking host with first-class professionalism
- In the ♥ of the old Lisbon
- Beautiful room
Bad
- My room was located on the ground floor and on the front side of the building. With the vibrant nightlife, I might as well slept on the sidewalk with all the noise. I was not able to enjoy a wink of sleep.
- The neighborhood is not exactly ideal with dive bars, graffiti painted buildings, trash on the street, and dilapidated infrastructure.
- The walls were thin, can hear in the other rooms

Our first trip to Lisbon started out as a nightmare when the taxi dropped us off at a very unsuitable Hostel at 1:30 in the morning . There was nothing we could do at that time, so next morning we started looking for a hotel in the same area. We just happened upon Alecrim ao Chiado and were totally delighted to find that they had a vacancy. WE LOVED THIS SMALL BOUTIQUE HOTEL AND ITS STAFF so much that we wished we could have stayed longer but we only had one night left in Lisbon. The gourmet breakfast was more than we expected and there were other perks that contributed to our stay. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!

This boutique hotel was excellent for our five night stay. The hotel is very well located within a short walking distance from the main shopping areas of Lisbon and very close to the metro station. The room is large and accomodating and in excellent condition with great facilities. The staff are very attentive and welcoming and will help with anything you need. Breakfast was provided daily with good choices and excellent staff looking after your breakfast needs.

Schönes Boutique Hotel in guter und zentraler Lage. Der Check in war trotz vieler E-Mails schwierig, da wir gegen Mitternacht eintrafen. Obwohl zugesichert, dass die Rezeption noch geöffnet sei, warteten wir 30 Minuten bis jemand kam.Dafür entschädigt das Hotel mit einem unglaublich relaxten Interieur, sehr netten Personal und einem individuell zugeschnittenen Frühstück.Würde also jederzeit wieder hinfahren.

Kleines chices Hotel, sehr Gastfreundlich, Zimmer sauber, gutes Frühstück (kein Buffet. Man wählt vorher zuerst aus was haben möchte) Das Hotel befindet sich sehr zentral in Lissabon. Der Bahnhof ist in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar.Einzig negative, dass wir keine Kleiderbügel resp Schrank im Zimmer hatten und lediglich eine Badewanne neben dem bett! zum duschen. Sieht zwar super aus aber nicht sehr vorteilhaft zum haare waschen (kein Henkel für duschbrause).

Accueil personnalisé, Sofia et Claudia sont à la hauteur de ce charmant hôtel sans oublier le jeune homme qui est là le soir ( désolée pour le prénom). Notre chambre était spacieuse sans aucuns faux pas . À côté de tout un vrai régal . MERCI tout simplement

Very clean establishment. Well located. Just up the hill from train station. Room/ suite was large by European standards. Terrific breakfast with excellent coffee. All of the staff went out of their way to be accommodating. A gem.

Great place to stay! Very central, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfasts. I would have given 5 stars except that I’d booked a room with a king size bed but it turns out none of the rooms there have king beds.

A wonderful place to stay in central Lisbon! The staff are delightful, friendly, and helpful. The room was spotless, modern, and cozy – I didn’t want to leave. Lovely complimentary breakfast. Street was a bit loud at night, but that’s due to the central location. Would absolutely stay again.

A wonderful hidden gem in Lisbon. Room was spotlessly clean and felt as comfortable as home. The only downside was it was very noisy outside late at night, but that may have been the fault of a Friday night football game. Friendly, accommodating staff. Simple but tasty breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again.

Hôtel parfaitement situé pour visiter la ville. Chambre charmante. Deco superbe dans l’hôtel. Le personnel est très accueillant. Petit déjeuner excellent et varié Petit hôtel ou même lorsqu’il est complet on a l’impression d’être seul. Tout est bien isolé, à aucun moment nous avons été dérangés. Facilité d’accès à tout heure. Je recommande les yeux fermés, et lors de mon prochain séjour j’y retournerai très probablement.

Das Hotel steht super da, sehr zentral in der sg. Altstadt.Das Zimmer sehr sauber, exzellent komfortabel.Der Service sehr kundenfreundlich.Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen.Das Personal super freundlich.Man fühl sich wie Zuhause, heimisch.

Such a beautiful and unique place, the building was gorgeous and full of character, our room was so cute, everything was so clean and modern yet the building kept its old character. The staff were lovely and Claudio was so helpful. Breakfast was nice and the location was absolutely perfect. If I go back to Lisbon I would 100% stay there again. The tapas bar opposite the back of the hotel was AMAZING too.

Nicht nur die Lage ist hervorragend sondern auch das Personal. Insgesamt lässt diese Unterkunft keine Wünsche mehr offen. Auch wenn man ein Zimmer vorne raus zur Straße hat, hört man nichts, so dicht schließen die Fenster. Die Straßenbahnschienen auf der Rua do Alecrim sind quasi Attrappe, die Bahn ist stillgelegt. Also von dieser Seite ggf. auch kein Lärm zu erwarten.

Best location in Lisbon. Able to walk to most areas easily and also easy walking distance to Sintra and Caiscais trains. Even if you get tired of walking Uber’s are very cheap in Lisbon. Large well appointed rooms for the price. Nice breakfast included. Very courteous and helpful staff.

Great place, let us check in early thankfully had an open room. In a great party of the curry, close to the market and a small Central square a block up. Great bars and restaurants in every corner all around. No need to go far for a good drink (across the street have a Porto Tonica)

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. A boutique hotel that used to be a house with so much character. Excellent location and street view to a wine bar in the back street. I loved the concept of honesty bar!

My wife and I took the subway to get to the hotel, and it was only a 4 minute walk downhill to get there from the station.We were greeted by Claudia, who was very nice and helpful, spoke English very well, and got us to our room. No keys, so nothing to lose (key pad).The room was clean, and the bed was fresh with clean linens. The bathroom was clean (toilet and shower), and the shower was a lovely rainfall shower.A wonderful continental breakfast along with made to order eggs also came with the room.The streets in Lisbon are very hilly, so bring your good uphill shoes, but the hotel was within 5 minute walk to the train station, the subway station, and 10 minutes from a high end shopping mall.Best part was how the staff went above and beyond to help me out after I was no longer a guest. I ended up leaving my phone in a taxi cab, and the driver was kind enough to drop it by the hotel. I was able to contact the hotel, and they mailed my phone back to me in the USA.I cant say enough good things about this hotel. Stay here! You will not be disappointed.

Es un hotel pequeño pero con mucho encanto. Nuestra habitación era amplia, bien decorada y limpia.El desayuno abundante y bueno.Todo el personal fue muy atento y amable.El hotel está muy bien situado, la calle da directamente al río Tajo.A pocos metros está el Palacio do Chiado, un restaurante en un antiguo palacio restaurado, merece la pena.En resumen un hotel muy recomendable en el que hemos estado muy a gusto.Por poner una pega diré que a las habitaciones les faltaría una mininevera para poder tener bebidas frescas.

The hotel is located at an excellent location,close to many local attractions. It has great air conditioning system. We had a very cool room in a hot summer day. The room is very spacious, WiFi is excellent, the bed is comfortable. More importantly, the staff are fantastic. He personally go over everything in the room with us and provide lots of useful information of the town.

Un petit hôtel plein de charme idéalement situé mais chambre en rdc donnant sur la rue principale bruyante avec beaucoup de passage la nuit. Lhôtel nen est pas responsable malgré tout ...Nous avons payé un supplément pour le lit dappoint qui après coup semble un peu excessif et ne semble pas vraiment justifié au regard du confort sommaire de ce couchage.Petits déjeuners parfaits, jus dorange frais très appréciable et nourriture plus que correcte.

Friendly staff is very organized. They have walking maps of all the different neighborhoods and tons of recommendations.

The hotel is quite nice but don’t stay there Friday or Saturday night unless you plan on staying out all night. People were out yelling in the streets until 5am and I was unable to sleep. It’s quite loud. The other days were fine and in fact it’s a great place to stay during the week.

Sehr gute Lage und sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer waren sehr sauber und mit eigener Kaffeemaschine. Das Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig, aber ncht als Frühstücksbüffet organisiert, sondern man bestellt quasi vor und bekommt dann genau die Dinge, die man bestellt hatte.

two nights in the hotel. nice, big room. very central, good location. but, no real breakfast (buffet), pre-order the day before necessary. laundry within 24 hrs. only with difficulty possible. some dark long hair in my bed linnen ... would choose a different place next time.

Amazing stay in the most beautiful city I have visited yet! Hotel staff was amazing, everything was easy to walk to, train station was close as was shopping and the Time Out Market. Staff was so nice, professional and helpful. They answered every question and provided every need. They proactively found me places to go, eat, etc! Staff was Claudia Carmo, Sofia Pinote and Patricia Morgadinho - All were so friendly and helpful! (Give them all a raise!!!). WILL stay here again! Rooms were large by european standards. breakfast at your door every morning and a clean room every day. Balcony was amazing and once you closed and added the shutters, room was quiet and dark! Easy to sleep at this location! All amenities, AC/Hair Dryer/Safe/Ironing board, etc!!! Nice shower with Rainfall head and bathrooms had real door - not glazed glass!

Three nights stay at this cozy and enchanting hotel. The ambient is very welcoming and relaxing. The warm reception by the staff makes was very professional and attentive to our requests or questions. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable during our three nights visit. The beds condition and comfort were great! Breakfast requests were met and timely delivery to room was impressive. Proximity to Baixa-Chiado metro is very convenient. My partner and I greatly enjoyed our first trip to Lisbon and our stay at the Alecrim ao Chiado enhanced our Lisbon experience. As a world traveler for many years and to many cities and countries, this is one my best hotel stays thus far. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

Lovely! Absolutely lovely hotel! Freshly renovated and very clean, no smells. Quiet and comfortable. And the bed..mmmm! Amazingly soft pillows, nice wide blankets in natural fibre, sheets felt real cotton (I did not check, though) and a good mattress. All in all - a very good night's sleep. I also loved that they bring a breakfast tray to your door, so you do not have to get dressed before breakfast :-) And the coffemaker and kettle are in your room. Thank you! If I ever come back this is where I will stay!

Excelente pequeño hotel cerca del centro, el desayuno en la puerta deñ habitacion todos los dias a la hora que uno quiero ha sido una sorpresa muy agradable. los trabajadores del hotel muy simpaticos y te ayudan en lo que sea. lo unico negativo ha sido que no han dado la bebida de bienvenido que prometieron ;) Muy recomendable!
