I am not a vegetarian but my girlfriend is. I loved all the food and the selection was great. I would just say that it would be good to have name cards over each dish as I was a bit embarrassed not knowing what the food actually was for some of the dishes.

The staff was either looking depressed or very rude (especially the guy with the moustache) and the food was just edible: most of it is cold, and when a dish would finish, they would need a long time to replace it (in the 1 hour stay, 3 dishes kept being empty). There are more better and cheaper vegetarian restaurants in Lisbon which are better. Don’t waste your time and choose a different place.

What an awesome little cosy place for veggies like me and loved the ambience. I Loads to choose from when you choose the buffet option which is very cost effective in my humble opinion. Everything was delish!!!! Nom nom nom . Had three servings. Highly recommend for vegetarians and vegans

Der Service ist ganz gut und die Innengestaltung (v.a. die Terrasse) ist schön. Das Essen sieht interessant aus und ist auch reichlich vorhanden, jedoch war es geschmacklich eher nicht sonderlich begeisternd. Es kommt ein bisschen so rüber als wüssten die Köche nicht wie man vegetarisches Essen lecker kochen kann. Dafür sind 16€ doch etwas happig. Aber satt wird man auf jeden Fall.

Naja... Vegetarisches Essen in Buffetform, das auf sehr engem Raum, sehr langsam wieder aufgefüllt wird.
Die Qualität der Zutaten ist in Ordnung, geschmacklich ist es nach meinem Geschmack eher fad.
Ca 50% des Buffets besteht aus Salat & Rohkost, der Rest sind eher fad gekochte Beilagen, wie zB Reis mit Erbsen und Mais, Spaghetti mit Kräutern und Öl oder Falafel.
Mein Geschmack wars nicht, würde es auch nicht weiterempfehlen.
Der Gastgarten und die klassische Musik war nett.

Sehr gutes abwechslungsreiches Veganes Buffet. Waren zu 7 und jeder hat etwas gefunden. Alles war ausreichend vorhanden und auch rechtzeitig aufgefüllt. Hoffe ich bekomme nochmal die Möglichkeit dort zu essen.

Um dos meus restaurantes vegetarianos preferidos! Venho aqui sempre que posso. É servido um buffet super completo de comida deliciosa, o atendimento é super simpático e até as bebidas são qualquer coisa de divinal.

Experiência semelhante a outros vegetarianos que oferecem serviço buffet, sem nada a destacar que justifique a diferença de preço (talvez o jardim interior, no Verão).
Para restaurante vegetariano (dos mais antigos de Lisboa), tem demasiados produtos de origem animal - queijo, natas, iogurte, etc. com a agravante de os pratos e molhos não estarem identificados, o que obriga a questionar aos empregados, um por um, o que leva ingredientes de origem animal ou não.
Ainda nesse sentido, para quem for vegan, a oferta de sobremesas é muito limitada.
A confecção é razoável para o que se pode exigir de um buffet, sem que exista propriamente um "prato", apenas uma grande oferta do que se pode poderiam considerar entradas e acompanhamentos.
A decoração está um pouco datada e o serviço não deslumbrou .
Em suma, um restaurante vegetariano com muitos anos na praça, mas que não se atualizou.

The options that were vegan were cold. Falafel and some kind of Seitan stew. Price was expensive 12.50 euros. Staff were not very friendly and as another reviewer stated looked and acted depressed. I wouldn’t waste your time. Plenty of other great places such as “Eight” and “cafe Alberto”

A comida é boa, no entanto haviam muitas travessas vazias que demoravam bastante tempo a ser repostas. O preço também é demasiado elevado, 15.90 por pessoa sem incluir as bebidas e as sobremesas. O atendimento deixa muito a desejar, pois empregados não primam absolutamente nada pela simpatia. Para não voltar!

Food was ok as mentioned by everyone, but terrible service. Service employees look really depressed and aren't friendly at all. One of them even bumped with his elbow to my wife twice (while fiing the buffet up)and didn't even say anything.. Hopefully they were just having a really bad day..

Great quality buffet! So there is not a lot of variety, however what they have is pretty amazing!
Great cosy exterior place (non smoking). The price for the lunch buffet on the weekend is 16€ but during the week it is cheaper.
I recommend the vegetarian “bacalhau” à Brás.

Neste restaurante os acompanhamentos passam a prato principal! Sem inspiração nalgumas culturas que praticam alimentação vegetariana por exemplo. Ao jantares quando dizerem menu com preço tal referem se apenas ao buffet. Bebidas e sobremesas a parte. Preço elevado. Não há onde estacionar perto do restaurante. Não aconselho a quem gosta de ser bem servido num restaurante.

Feb 2019: Terra was great. A very large selection of delicious, outstanding vege food, much of it vegan, and very good service. It tends to sell out , so advance reservations are strongly advised. Added bonus: it has the kosher recommendation of the Lisboa Jewish Community, and on shabbat Terra will arrange for special wine for you and also handle other details - a fantastic bonus!

Vorweg, die Speisen sind gut und schmackhaft. Das Ambiente soll dem eines typischen portugiesischen Restaurants entsprechen.
Eine geschmackliche Offenbarung habe ich nicht erlebt. Zwar gab es eine Vielzahl an Speisen am Buffet die nett hergerichtet wurden, aber das war es auch.
Die warmen Gerichte sind leider nicht warm bzw heiß gewesen, nur lauwarm.
Wer sich vegan ernährt, weiß nicht auf den ersten Blick was vegan ist und was nicht.
Eine Kennzeichnung hätte gut geholfen. Die Nachfrage beim Personal sparten wir uns.
Der Service war schlecht, obwohl dieser nur aus der Zuweisung des Tisches, das servieren der Getränke und das abkassieren bestand.
Das Personal behandelte uns als wären wir Luft. Da verspricht der Internetauftritt mehr, weniger Arroganz und mehr Herzlichkeit. Beides war nicht zu entdecken.
Allein deswegen 2 Sterne Abzug, den nächsten Abzug gibt es für das nur lauwarme Essen.
Gut das die Auswahl an vegetarischen veganen Restaurants in Lissabon sehr groß ist.

Preço de buffet 15.90€ não inclui bebida nem Sobremesa. Preco médio de 20eur por pessoa com bebida. A comida é boa mas considero que valha os 20€ por refeição. Sobremesa recomendo o crumble de maçã.

A fantastic spread of vegetarian and Vegan food. It is actually hard to decide when to stop or what to eat since there is such a large selection. The price is high for Portugal but I guess this is a high end place About 14 Euro per person. The drinks were a bit bland.

It says on the website "Most — about 80%! — of our dishes (desserts included) do not include any ingredient from animal origin." My friend and I trekked across Lisbon to find this place, and were very hungry by the time we arrived, only to be told that at the most, there was about 40% of the buffet that actually was vegan (salad, potatoes, aubergine fritters and a couple of other things).
It was already close to 8.30pm so we stayed as we didn't know where else to go, but the minimal selection we had was lukewarm and uninteresting. There were so many things that could have been made vegan - chickpea dishes with unnecessary grated cheese added, egg added to seitan (why?!), etc. To spend almost 16 Euros on salad, potatoes and rice - when there are so many other wonderful vegan options in the city - was galling, to say the least.
If you're vegan, don't go here. Find somewhere else. Even if you're not vegan, the food was lukewarm and desserts are not included in the buffet price, so I would say, go somewhere else!

This place is amazing ! All dishes are delicious and the area is nice. The waiters were really nice and we enjoyed our meal in the inside terassse. I would highly recomend to come early or late (before 8.30 or after 9.30) and to book a table before you go.

Worst place we've visited in Lisbon for dinner. Lots of reviews stating there's plenty of vegan choices, but we paid €16 each for a plate of bland rice and cold spaghetti with oil. Everything is very oily. Staff are mostly rude. So many other great (vegan) restaurants in Lisbon to visit - don't bother going here.

Au Portugal, pas si évident de manger un peu de légumes. En ce sens ce restaurant qui propose un buffet végétarien à volonté pour 15,90€ fût une bonne compensation. Mais il ne faut pas chercher de quelconque raffinement culinaire ni de qualité particulière dans les produits. En outre, les serveurs sont plutôt austères. La partie extérieure du restaurant est agréable par contre.
Bref, pas vraiment une adresse incroyable mais pas désagréable non plus.

Extra super intense delicious buffet. Gorgeous backyard. All the flavors and all the different textures. Sangria was perfect accompanying the food :) might be good to reserve a spot if you are wanting to come later. Highly recommend.

A really good place for a vegetarian lunch. Just what you need when it's hot in Lisbon. The food is good and service is extremely friendly. A large selection of salads mainly bean based and then a few curries quiches and other items. There is one daily drink available included in the price and others are payable.

Terra has a really good atmosphere. The backyard is quiet and you'll even find a free table without reservation on a Saturday evening. The staff is friendly and welcoming but unfortunately the food at the buffet is just average. The tastes of the salads are very simple and there was nothing where I thought "this taste is interesting or unexpected." Wouldn't go there again even though everything was prepared freshly

I went there to pick up dinner. And the host treated me like was an untouchable or something. His attitude towards me and my girlfriend was horrible. We did not respond but would surely like everyone to know about our experience. And I am not looking for any kind of compensation, its just i work in the same industry and I do not want such people representing us. But the food was amazing. Tasty vegetarian dishes in a atmospheric and traditional feeling restaurant. It's a 'all you can eat' style buffet excluding drinks and desserts. Self-service, so tuck in and don't be shy. The waiters in there were friendly enough and quick to replenish plates and serve drinks etc. It was a shame that nothing is labelled, so you don't know what you're eating until you try it! Reasonable prices and lots of options to choose from, would definitely recommend this place.

O Terra é um restaurante muito aprazível, com uma zona de refeições no pátio, muito agradavel mesmo. É buffet, pode-mo-nos servir até rebentar, contudo para quem não come produtos de origem animal, fica com um número reduzido de escolhas, há muitos pratos que levam queijo. As bebidas e sobremesas não estão incluídas no preço que ao jantar é de 15.90€.

This place was perfect, after catching the 28 tram, we jumped off. A 5-10 minute walk up a few colourful streets! The staff welcomed us to their shaded outdoor seating. The various colours and food textures complemented each other so well, there wasn’t one thing I was in happy with. A soup to beggin, followed by 2 plates of joy. A full belly, and a satisfied costumer!
A major plus was recycled placemats and 0 straws!

Só posso falar da qualidade da comida e do ambiente.
A comida que provei era maravilhosa e o ambiente, lá fora do melhor. O resto das instalações pareceram-me apertadas e os preços acima do que acho tolerável... mas também só lá fui uma vez e num dia promocional onde os valores pedidos eram mais simpáticos.

Perhaps the best vegetarian restaurant we have eaten in. The buffet had an amazing variety of tasty dishes. The ambience is very pleasant. The staff were dashing about like mad, but smiling like they were having the best time ever. It was quite crowded by 20:00, and it has earned its popularity.

Não é barato já que, com bebidas, a refeição ficará perto dos 30 euros por pessoa mas a qualidade é inegável para quem gosta de comer bem e não sentir a falta de carne ou peixe. 15,90€ kostet das reichhaltige Buffet, das klingt erstmal teuer, aber wenn man sich drei Teller voll macht, sind das gerade mal 5,30€ pro Teller und das ist dann schon wieder günstig. Die Auswahl ist groß und zu 60% vegan. Das Ambiente ist angenehm entspannt und im Hintergrund läuft klassische Musik. Die Bediensteten sind immer freundlich. Fazit: Bauchschmerzen, weil man neigt bei Buffets immer dazu sich unnötig vollzufressen.

Food was kind of OK. Dishes with cheese were covered with a big layer of cheese. Most of the veggies were frozen so nothing fresh. Waiters looked sad and were scratching there testicles while working (literally ). 16 € buffet I expected at least a smile. You could even serve the best food in this world if it's not with a smile it's worth nothing.

We went to this place on a Saturday night at 8:20 pm. The food looked delicious, but we didn't get to taste it because all of the empty tables were "reserved" and they told us that our only option was to wait outside for an hour as they didn't take reservations after 8:30. We found this set up a bit odd, but hey, it's a different culture. The problem is that I had tried to call an hour or so before but no one answered and I didn't see any info online requiring a reservation. Maybe this review will give others a heads up!! Will definitely try again as it looked really good and nice variety of hot foods and the ambience and setting was nice too. The buffet price was about 16 Euro it looks like for weekend dinner. It's tough to plan your meals a day ahead when not in town very long, but from the looks of it, this place is worth a bit of a hassle. We will hopefully make it back! Congrats on making such tasty-looking vegetarian cuisine that we were super bummed out that we missed it!

Achei que a comida, apesar da diversidade oferecida pelo buffet "à descrição" não tinha sabores ricos e portanto não achei que fosse nada de especial ou memorável. Contudo, a comida estava bem apresentada e o pessoal era simpático. O tecto em arco à entrada estava com ar de ruir na cabeça de alguém a qualquer momento.

Pretty decent vegetarian food. Not the best and not wildly creative but fresh enough ingredients and sufficient variety.
There are some Italian options, salads, kiches, fruits, a soup and more. A number of bean dishes, which is great, can also be found. Sit outside if weather permits.

The restaurant was recommended to us by locals, os we decided to go here for dinner.
First of all, the terrace in the back was beautiful in the evening and had a really nice atmoshere to eat dinner. The buffet had a good size and offered plenty of options to choose from. Upon mentioning to one of the waiters that we were vegans, he quickly began to go over every part of the buffet and explained what options we had. Furthermore, he informed the kitchen about our eating preference, after which they added an extra dish to the menu for us!!
We also noticed another man mentioning his gluten intolerance to one of the waiters. They also went through the hole buffet with him and expained what he couln't eat, and why. So the staff is realy well informed about all the ingerdients in all of the dishes.
The meal itself was also really good and we enjoyed it alot. So to sum it up, we had a great time with good atmosphere, tasty meals and really nice waiters. We can only recommend it

Food was tasty and the service was good. Decor theme and music are an odd match. Big problem was we were overcharged. Should have paid weekday prices, but instead they charged us weekend prices. Did not question the cost at first, but we really should have. Only realised once we got back to our hotel. Not sure if we were taken advantage of because we're polite tourists, but it's a shame, I would have rated much higher. People should be treated equally, no matter your background.

Com uma enorme variedade de opção no buffet é garantido que encontra algo que goste mesmo que não vegetariano. Ao almoço, o menu é mais acessível estando incluído 1 bebida e 1 sobremesa do dia mas existe menos variedade enquanto que ao jantar é mais caro com mais opções mas sem a bebido nem a sobremesa

Fab vegetarian buffet restaurant tucked in a narrow lane in old town Lisbon. Delicious food, great outdoor courtyard seating out the back, happy and helpful staff and the food and drink was delicious.

Não sou vegetariana, e muito menos vegan, por isso a legítima preocupação de algumas pessoas em saber que pratos são vegan, ou não, passa-me ao lado. Também não posso comparar a comida com muitos outros restaurantes vegetarianos porque não são assim tantos os que visitei. O que eu sei é que gosto muito de ir ao Terra, fico sempre satisfeita com a oferta e com vontade de voltar! Os meus filhos, ainda crianças, também são fãs e comem lindamente quando lá vão. O que é que falta? Nada!

Very nice place to eat vegan or vegetarian. Menu for 21€ something. Beautiful, quiet garden and friendly staff. Food was fresh and quite good, although it feels like something was missing. Could also offer a greater selection of organic soft drinks. Overall great if you need a break from all the other fish and meat places.

Já com alguma experiência em restaurantes vegetarianos e este ficou um dos meus favoritos na cidade. Ambiente caseiro, calmo e com música ambiente no volume ideal para não atrapalhar uma conversa. Quando sei que quero almoçar/jantar e também relaxar é aqui que tenho de ir. O único senão, dificuldade em estacionar na zona. Mas se der para ir de transportes, fantástico!

Un buffet médiocre pour un prix exorbitant. 15,90€ contre environ 7€ dans les autres buffets de la ville.
Et je ne parle pas des desserts : 2 boules de glaces ( immangeables, pire que des glaces 1er prix de carrefour ) facturées 7€ ! La grosse blague...
Heureusement que les serveurs en tablier sont sympa.
A éviter à "tout prix".

Já cá estive várias vezes e a qualidade tanto da comida como do staff tem se mantido constante. A comida é muito boa apesar de haver muitos pratos que poderiam ser menos gordurosos. Tem um pátio exterior muito agradável para dias de Primavera ou noites de verão quentes.

Absolutely fantastic! The food was so great, I could not stop eating! The vegan pizza was the best I've ever tried. May seem quite pricey at first, but it's worth it! You also get a nice surprise after you've paid at the till! :) Would definitely recommend!

One of the first vegan and vegetarian restaurant in the city. They are also bio and have a lot of food GLUTEN FREE. Full of lovely teas from different countries (also ayurvedic) Book a table here or go there by opening otherwise you won't get a seat. They have also a nice garden in the back. The staff is kind and efficient. The prices are a bit higher, because of the BIO food. Ohh and it's a buffet style (including the desserts, finally) :)

Very disappointing.
Some of the vegetables were not fresh but canned. Lots of salads to fill the buffet.The actual dishes were inspirationless and tasteless.
Service was friendly and they have a very nice terrace.

Não sou vegan mas gostei muito do conceito deste restaurante. Jantei na esplanada que é muito agradável apesar do espaço ser relativamente apertado tendo em conta o número de mesas e lugares que há para a circulação que se exige (o facto de ser buffet obriga as pessoas a levantar-se diversas vezes, pelo menos 3 ou 4, se houver dificuldade em passar ou tivermos que pedir licença a alguém não é prático nem agradável).
A comida é boa e tem muita variedade, repõem rapidamente o que se acaba e os empregados foram muito simpáticos.
O preço é razoável e encarece muito com bebidas e sobremesas, que são à parte do preço do buffet.

On my first day is Lisbon I learned that Google Maps is not very up to date when it comes to restaurants. Quite a few restaurants do not have their opening hours on Google or a website or phone number. After two of the restaurants were not there at all and a couple more were closed I got to Terra, one of the oldest vegetarian restaurants of Lisbon. There is a delicious buffet and although the restaurant wasn't vegan, the staff was more than happy to tell me what was. There is a beautiful and peaceful terrace in the backyard and the food is delicious. The best thing was definitely the staff though. They all spoke perfect English, were up for a chat and help me practice my Portuguese. Although I felt there were lots of vegan options, one of the waiters came out with a seitan schnitzel they made for me because they felt there weren't enough options for me. The buffet is about €15,00 a person, which is not cheap for a buffet in Lisbon. But the beautiful terrace, the quality of the food and the lovely staff made it great value for money.

We paid 15 euros per person for a buffet that was pretty varied, but the quality of the food wasn't really there. Just a few dishes tasted really tasty (and not only salty). Most of the dishes were a bit bland or quite oily. We stocked up on veggies though, so that was good. The service was good.

Wonderful buffet. The waiter will patiently explain to you which dishes are vegan (about half of them are) and which ones are vegetarian. There is also a beautiful garden to sit in.
Unfortunately it is kinda overpriced, you pay around 15€/person and dish, drinks not included.
Also, the classic music in the background seemed a bit pretentious to me.
But all in all a very good restaurant, with great service and amazing food and homemade drinks.

Disappointing - went on a Thursday evening around 9pm. The buffet was only 1/3 stocked with food, most of it very cold and tired. No attempt made to replenish anything or accommodate three hungry travellers. €15 per person was very very expensive for what was on offer. Avoid unless they're busy. They should reduced the price when offering such little choice.
