The Slow Music Movement: IGNORE the review below but I'll keep it here as a historical record. The location is now a workshop for making handcrafted, recycled and upcycled products. You can still get a coffee, beer or drink if you want to pop in and check out the nice, individual items that are fresh off the work table and presented for sale. This is a great neighbourhood cafe and bar that has been running a long time but is now under new management and, as is not always the case, is much better for it. The previous owner was a slightly erratic photographer who gave the place a certain character and attracted a local and bohemian crowd but who couldn't always be relied on to open the place depending on his mood! I'm happy to report the new owner has kept the charismatic, deliberately stressed, found objects interior vibe intact but added a much needed level of professionalism and effort into it's management. From the reliable opening hours to the daily soup, cold meats, cheeses and excellent chocolate cake made by her mother, regular as well as artisanal beer, well selected wines, the well chosen range of locally sourced products like teas, olive oils and jam for sale, local artist works on the walls, to the high quality live music program on a Friday and Saturday night, not to mention the cool local crowd who hang out there. This place is a real, back street, local gem in a still, relatively unspoilt area of central Lisbon.

O meu marido e eu estivemos todo o dia a fazer compras por preços e fomos referidos pelos nossos vizinhos em Outubro para visitar Judd e Black para um novo forno. Tim Avis nos ajudou e não poderíamos ter ficado mais satisfeitos. Ele foi muito simpático, paciente e prestável. Nós comprámos o forno e queremos falar sobre o seu excelente serviço ao cliente. Se você precisa de aparelhos ou roupa de cama e até mesmo móveis, os aparelhos de carga americanos são o melhor lugar para ir de mãos dadas!! Dan, o gerente assistente, é ótimo e realmente conhece os produtos. Nos últimos cinco anos, compramos vários electrodomésticos de lá. Muitos são novos em folha na caixa ou também têm produtos de raspar e amassar disponíveis. Eu recomendaria absolutamente o American freight anteriormente Sears scratch and dent.....
