What a little gem of a restaurant. We wandered in because we liked the look of the place and were instantly met with a warm greeting. As soon as the olives, bread and flavoured oils arrived (rosemary and lemon & cinnamon), it was clear that it was going to be a good meal. The wine selection was elegant and varied (including Portuguese green wine) and the roasted octopus was caramelized and tender. I could go on, but you get the picture. So glad we found this place. I would definitely go back, it was the perfect mix of laid back and sophisticated - you could happily while away a few hours in here. The prices across the whole menu were so affordable - it was a very pleasant surprise when the bill came.
P.S. It's tiny! We got lucky as we hadn't booked, but I would advise booking if you want to be sure to get in.

Overall incredible food, friendly staff and very reasonably priced. The meatballs and special with fish and prawns was delicious! We will definitely return!

Se trata de un local muy pequeño, pero con encanto. La comida esta buenísima, y entre semana puedes encontrar un menú a un precio asequible, que incluye un plato a elegir, bebida y café.
El servicio es atento y muy amables. Es un lugar muy recomendable para comer por la zona, al lado del Parlamento.

Small place but excellent food (squid, cheese, pork and also wonderful vegetarian plates), very friendly owner and perfectly clean taberna. I would love to come back soon

Fantastic place with fresh seafood. We had the prawns with rosemary, the grilled octopus and the sausage meatballs. All of it - to die for. Super fresh and amazing flavours. On top of that, great glasses of wine at super affordable prices

Lovely meal, great service. There’s only 14 seats in the place, so you get really well looked after, and you know the food is cooked to order. Recommend it highly. The port and orange cake was excellent to finish

Ended up here after a long search and having to leave the previous restaurant because of the terrible smell.
What a blessing in disguise!! We ended up here. Small, cozy, with a warm atmosphere. The food was simple and delicious. Would go again if I didn't have to go back home.

Amazing food, from the start! Great, fast service and it feels very cozy. The food is just unmatched. We had been in Lisbon for a few days and had been to a few restaurants. We were tired after a long day doing touristy things and we decided eating at a local restaurant would be best but, when we got there we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the restaurant. I would happily travel across the city to eat here again!

Most amazing experience. The Owner goes above and beyond. The staff, food, and atmosphere are fabulous. Eat fresh and devine Portuguese cuisine which is catered to the locals not tourists! What a refreshing stop in a city crowded by tourism! I can not recommend this highly enough! muito obrigada - thank you very much!

Amazing on every level! We were a group of 12 and they very kindly reserved the whole restaurant for us. Tiago and Antonio went out of their way to make the evening a huge success for us: a true home away from home.
The food: given we were a large group, we essentially tried everything on the menu, and I'm still trying to decide what I liked the most (possibly the beef cheeks and the prawns, but all others were highly appraised!)
I will keep coming back to this little gem, I'm convinced this duo will continue to impress me!

A Cozy little space in são Bento street where António and Tiago governo us a gastronomical tour through some of the best tastes of Portugal always with sympathy and helpfullness. Amazing wines aswell

Nice intimate place a bit away from the downtown hustle presenting traditional Portuguese food selections. Waiter was extremely helpful and attentive both to our food as well as pointers for the area. Our dinner after a local cheese sampler was a black bean stew, pork cheek roast, baked potato fries, prawns with a spicy almost Cajun sauce, some kind of artisenal mild sausage patty with texture like salmon. Highly recommend stopping here.

Great food. Really enjoyed every dish. If you want traditional Portuguese dishes. This is the place. Just 2 months old. Trust this place will be here for some time to come! Try their octopus salad, sardine and shrimps!!
