A very nice sushi, my favourite one ceviche the Peruvian stile. The view from the restaurant is amazing, the prices are affordable, you must book your table because it use to be full , it is not far from the sea neither from some touristy places.

Unfortunately on a Friday night for drinks it was beyond empty. Nice place and views but no atmosphere whatsoever. Booked a table for drinks at 00h30 but we should not have bothered. Pretty sad unfortunately. Shame as the place has potential but just doesn’t seem popular at all.

Insanely expensive for small “starters”. 6 Gyoza 38 euros, 4 (small) scallops 40 euros, 4 one-bite sized salmon nigiri (gunkan) 36 Euros. All medium quality. 65 euros for 180 gramos of “wagu” that was so tasteless and chewy we had to send it back. You won’t pay even 1/2 these prices in London or New York, and Lisbon is an inexpensive city. Nice views but zero “club” atmosphere. I would never go back for dinner.

Club qui se dit sélect, avec un genre de vigile en bas de l’immeuble doté d’une oreillette, qui met un quart d’heure à trouver notre nom sur sa liste, malgré une réservation faite la veille !!!
Arrivés en haut l’accueil est glacial, des employés snobs dotés d’une oreillette, qui ont du mal à communiquer entre eux, ont un mal fou à nous placer. Pourtant plein de tables sont vides à l’heure où nous y sommes allés. Elles resteront pour moitié vides jusqu’à notre départ !
Le lieu est totalement froid/factice, sans ambiance, et on ne s’y sent pas à l’aise, car ils ont négligé le confort de la clientèle. Je doute que les avis 5* soient authentiques...
On demande à dîner en terrasse, réponse négative. Bizarre, car dans plein de capitales, il est possible de manger en extérieur en été, pas au Portugal apparemment. Décevant...
De nombreux clients ne respectent pas le fameux « dress code » imposé par sms, et sur le site, et au téléphone (rien que ça). Au final, plein de gens sont arrivés en baskets et sandalettes, et même en bermuda. La prochaine fois, je viens en tongs et en slip de bain
N’exigez pas de vos clients qu’ils soient au top quand votre établissement est loin d’être parfait, soyez humbles et tout ira bien. Ne vous comparez pas aux lieux branchés et vraiment selects que vous essayez d’imiter, vous passez pour des ploucs de la copie, et vous donnez une mauvaise image des portugais.
EDIT : Pour vous répondre, il ne sert à rien de vous justifier et d'excuser vos comportements condescendants envers les clients indéfiniment, vous ne me ferez pas changer d'avis ni revenir chez vous. Plusieurs avis négatifs ont mentionné votre snobisme mal placé, le peu de nourriture dans les assiettes, le peu d'ambiance, et le mauvais rapport qualité-prix, et vous persistez à dénigrer ces avis ! Vous avez une politique d'accueil très snob, et sans chaleur, cependant vous continuez à vous persuader que c'est vous qui avez raison. Pour info, c'est le client qui vous fait vivre, pas l'inverse ! Sans lui, votre petite entreprise met la clé sous la porte. Vous profitez aujourd'hui de l'attrait touristique du Portugal (grâce, entre autres, aux tour operators et autres largesses fiscales douteuses que votre pays offre aux étrangers), mais ça ne durera pas.
RE EDIT : Mr Machado Lopes (le responsable du lieu qui répond aux avis sur Google et Tripadvisor) a réussi l'exploit de faire retirer 2 avis 1* postés sur Tripadvisor car ces derniers, longs et détaillés, ne sont pas à son goût (pourtant on a le droit d'émettre un avis, et sur le Club, et sur le restaurant). Il a fait de même avec celui de Mme Ana Pereira (posté il y a 3 ans), qui était également long et très détaillé. Du jamais vu ! Mr Lopes, sachez que les clients qui dépensent leur argent dans votre établissement ont le droit de ne pas être satisfaits de l'accueil et de la nourriture, et de le dire. Vous mériteriez qu'on vous demande un remboursement pour cette horrible expérience.

Dear People from the silk club, i haven't had a Chance to post a review earlier. Here it is: i had a perfect evening at your club on the 9th of october. I proposed to my girlfriend at your place. (she said yes) I had spoken everything trough with the manager that evening. He was very polite and helpfull, he even brought us some champagne! . The food was delicious and the view was amazing.
Conclusion: top night, great staff, delicous food,!! 5stars!

Lieu très Chaleureux décoration très boisé. Une jolie vue sur Lisbonne ( surtout en journée ). En effet de nuit je trouve le restaurant un peu trop sombre, ambiance trop tamisé, a un point ou on ne peux apercevoir ce que l'on mange. C'est bien dommage car le visuel des plats ne demande qu'a être mis en valeur et les sushis sont vraiment très très bon.

Quand les clients postent autant d'avis négatifs, il faut savoir se remettre en question et en chercher la cause, au lieu de répondre avec arrogance et de faire poster de faux avis 5* tout de suite après (ex : Luis Silva). Cela ne vous grandit pas et donne une image du lieu désagréable. À fuir !

Dining at Silk was absolutely the highlight of all our eating experiences in Lisbon; we came in time for the sunset and was treated to the very best of service and views over the city. The food itself had it all; flavour, theatre, and presentation. I highly recommend the scallop starter, and definitely do enjoy a cocktail or two by their talented mixologists.

Parfaite expérience. Service pro et sympathique par le manager lui même (en français). Vue a couper le souffle sur la ville et bien sûr les meilleurs sushis de Lisbonne. Je passe au Silk dès que je viens à Lisbonne et n'ai jamais trouvé de meilleurs sushis en Europe. Les crispy hot rolls de saumon sont a tomber. Dommage qu'il n'y ait plus de cocktails signatures.

Um dos melhores Roof Top de Lisboa. Drinks fantásticos, cardápio excelente. Em relação ao preço não se pode discutir, visto que a qualidade não tem preço. O atendimento podia ser mais personalizado. Mas na minha opinião achei excelente. Para gosta de fotografia e de paisagens urbanas. É o lugar! Recomendo!

I went here for a few drinks on my short stay in Lisbon, theres great views of the city from the outside terrace. I really enjoyed the experience and would recommend to anyone who’s likes a club with an exclusive feel. The staff are friendly and efficient when bringing drinks your way. Overall the establishment was well maintained and sells my favourite rum diplomatico reservea so 5 stars from me

Pricey but the view is worth it. The food was okay and the fish didn’t seem too fresh, but we are from NYC and expect a very high quality of sushi. The place turns into a club after midnight which is a very interesting transition. The staff was very friendly and attentive and really tried to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a great experience with a breathtaking view of all of Lisbon.

I was very disappointed with the management as whoever made the decisions there is almost ruining a great location and a great view with a lousy division and bad sound system and a waste of a rooftop view for nothing
Who splits a club to dance floor and a balcony.. no sound outside, clients just sitting as if its a cafe and even from a money making point thats like giving away rent, inside where club remained is almost empty on a Saturday.. and again who splits sound with glass ? No sound engineer consulting there ... i know those stuff matter i had clubs of my own and the worse you could do is put glass to reflect noise than putting sound absorbers to refuce frequency noise ..
All i saw is potential wasted .. owners should easily recover with making some good decisions there.

At the door , the doorman was very professional, helpful and with good costumer service skills.
The reception is beautiful and building also.
When you reach top floor , the views are amazing over Lisbon , layout of the bar it's very nice also but ....no soul!
Music choice not up to date , quite boring atmosphere !
I paid around 38€ for 2 whiskeys +1 gin ,which isn't cheap to have a dirty table , full of dirty glasses from previous clients.
I waited for staff to remove them once we took the table but they didnt ,so I had to move them to another table !
When you have such high standards have to be everywhere not only in image but also in service .
Not sure if I would came back .
I can find better service in Lisbon, with also with great views and possibly cheaper !!

Trés bonne expérience. Il faut s'attendre à des prix élevées mais totalement justifiés par la qualité de la nourriture ainsi que du lieu. Il y a peu de place donc il vaut mieux réserver. La musique est aussi de très plaisante. La vue sur Lisbonne est magnifique spécialement de nuit car l'emplacement du restaurant est parfaite.

Refusé à l'entrée cause bermuda et se dit être un lieu décontracté... Pas grave je vais dépenser mon argent chez d'autres...Ps: agent de sécurité lui même mal habillé et mal rasé et ne sachant pas dire bonsoir...anti touristes...
Établissement supportant mal les avis publics...Si l'agent de sécurité suit les règles dictées par le responsable alors apprenez lui les règles de bonnes conduites.
Impose un dresscode qui ne s'applique pas au personnel.
Lisez l'ensemble des critiques positives et négatives et faîtes-vous votre propre opinion...

Great view and adequate service with great quality sushi in a small room with the most uncomfortable chairs created to date (you would rather sit on the floor).
Avoid if you have allergy to wannabe noveau riche with notorious snob attitude, nonetheless if you're able to ignore then the rest still had the right environment and the status you might be looking for, surely though you'll pay for it.
Still I I were to invest at least 80 euros per person then I would much rather visit the Bica do Sapato sushi or if the view is the criteria then Via Graça offer everything a step above.

I think every city has such a club. It's the one club that attracts white shirted boys with money.
1.5 liter bottle grey goose was 540€ including a little firework that might cost 12 cent.

Stunning view over the city and Tagus River. Service was pleasant but a little slow. Sushi was decent but nothing special and not very creative. Expect this place is priced for its scene and scenery. Hazelnut dessert is worth mentioning.

BEST SUSHI IN LISBON. This was seriously the best meal that I had while in Lisbon, the fish was incredible and to top it off the view was gorgeous. Make sure you wear a little nicer clothes when you plan on going and maybe call to make a reservation since they don’t have that many tables.

Je valide le lieu qui se trouve au 6 ème étage d'un immeuble du centre ville.
Des grandes baies vitrées. Une déco contemporaine, une musique de fond. restaurant branché. Très bon service.
Cependant rien d'extraordinaire dans les plats que nous avons choisi. Aucune surprise gustative. Belle expérience plutôt pour le lieu que pour le goût.
Plutôt cher pour un restaurant japonais !

Non ho trovato nulla che giustificasse i prezzi così spropositatamente alti, per un giapponese di livello. Neppure Nobu oserebbe far pagare così tanto, il poco: preparatevi a spendere almeno 100 euro a testa e uscire con la sensazione di aver preso un aperitivo.

Bem no coração da movimentada noite de Lisboa, localizado no topo de um antigo edificio, o restaurante/club tem uma vista INCRÍVEL da cidade! A decoração é moderna e de muito bom gosto.
O staff é muito competente e simpático, todos bastante solicitos e muito bem informados sobre tudo o que ofereciam (bem importante para pessoas que tem intolerâncias ou alergias como eu).
A comida é simplesmente divina!
Voltarei sempre que estiver em Lisboa.
E recomendo pra todos que busquem uma boa experiência.

Bom spot, vista magnífica sobre Lisboa, não se podendo no entanto comer na esplanada, por motivos difíceis de entender.
Em visita junto com alguns colegas de trabalho ao final da tarde fomos bastante bem atendidos.
O WC dos homens é um exercício de estilo arquitectónico.
Preços acima da média mas mesmo assim decentes, já que a qualidade também é acima da média.

Had a great time at the Silk Club while on holidays. My friend told me it is the best sushi establishment in Lisbon, which is odd because there were no Japanese chefs when I went. Nevertheless, I was not disappointed. It was great sushi, and we had great service courtesy of David. He recommended the dishes we had, and was attentive the entire time. In addition, the ambiance of the establishment is very high class, you get an incredible view of the city while you eat, and the restaurant converts into a nightclub after midnight.

Bar und Restaurant, die man in Lissabon unbedingt besucht haben muss. Man hat einen aussergewöhnlichen Blick über die Stadt Lissabon! Das Ambiente von Restaurant und Bar ist sehr modern, elegant und exklusiv. Der Service, David hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen. Er war sehr höflich, zuvorkommend und professionell.
Die Auswahl an Sushi unglaublich - und vor allem ist es sehr lecker ;-) Wenn man also in der Stadt ist, sollte man sich dieses Erlebnis auf gar keinen Fall entgehen lassen!
Bar with an incredible view over the city of Lisbon. The ambience is very elegant and modern. The service, David, was very courteous, polite and professional. He has read every wish from our lips.
The selection of sushi is exceptional. Bar and restaurant that you should definitely visit!

La vue ! Il faut retenir cela... À la base venu pour boire un irish coffe, je suis un poil déçu.. Car pas d'irish.. Un café froid à la vodka... Mais service sympathique et personnel disponible donc pas grand chose à dire à part la vue qui est sympa la nuit uniquement car pas mal de travaux sur Lisbonne.

Really liked the place.. fancy and great view. The chairs are for midgets though and I wasnt comfortable at all. Great service and good food kind of balanced the whole experience.a bit on the expensive bracket of lisbon restaurants but its a bit understandable as it is pretty small and personalized. Would recommend for a nice date. Expect at least 70 euros per person if you are drinking as well.

We had a wonderful dinner in Lisbon, honestly the best food and service we've had on our two week tour of Europe and then we arrive at silk. We have researched this club and it's a Wednesday night at 11:30pm. The man at the door was condescending judging my boyfriends attire and mentioning his whole outfit was alright but his flip flops made him subpar and we were not allowed in. Completely ruined our night and my opinion of the nightlife in Lisbon. It's a shame you're so close minded at almost midnight on a Wednesday. I hope the rating goes down so people who are as excited as I was are deterred from entering. What a horrible hospitality.

The only thing worth coming for is the view really. I came for dinner and a drink and the food was very disappointing especially considering the price point. Miso soup had chunks of undissolved miso in it and was luke warm, sushi was very mediocre, and the green tea was from a tea bag. Service is slow although staff are nice enough. I ate at the sushi counter which played a mix of top 40 songs that are a year old which was very strange and did not suit the atmosphere. Overall I wouldn't recommend

O sushi é um 2.5 em 5. Super demorado, demais para a comida básica que apresentam. O sushi é qualidade de um Samurai Sushi, fraco e sem criatividade. Quando vou a um lugar upmarket não espero salmon rolls com Chinese spices. Ao chegar vejo uma pessoa sentada numa cadeira num Shopping center fechado, escuro e escondido. Ok pensei, disseram que ficava no 6 andar e lá fomos. Conseguimos achar o lugar depois de tentar a sorte com tanta porta e nenhum sinal a direcionar para o restaurante, fomos recebidos por uma menina que é a típica amargada que não sorri nem diz obrigado nem desculpa, a chamada mulher de tasca, que pensa que nos faz um favor por trabalhar lá. De salientar que em outras mesas as pessoas comentaram o mesmo pois escutei. Quando chegou o prato principal, depois de continuarmos sem bebidas, e mesmo já tendo comido a entrada, perguntámos se o chá demorava, o qual ela respondeu: eles estão muito ocupados. Nem um desculpa nem nada, só isto de forma agressiva e sem sorrir, uma vergonha! Realmente precisam de um sushi man novo ou um gerente bom pois um lugar com uma vista espectacular e boa decoração não merece o desleixo de um sushi man que faz coisas básicas, sem gosto e a preços caros. Sushi de pobre a preços de rico. Gostaria de realçar que a empregada de mesa é o típico exemplo de empregada que estraga negócios, aconselho que a despeçam pois de certeza que perdem clientes por causa da má educação dela. Qualquer pessoa pode ver. As cadeiras são muito baixas, qualquer pessoa com 1,70 não fica confortável. Para acabar a noite, a mesma empregada sujou-me a camisa com Soya pois tirou a louça suja com pressa e sem perguntar-nos, e claro somente disse desculpa pois chamei a atenção de ter estragado a minha camisa. Mais uma vez nem um desculpa ou deixe limpar. Apresentaram a conta e como não têm tinta na impressora não dá para ver o que pagamos. Ao abandonar o lugar o segurança nem boa noite nem adeus. Muito fraco, nada a dizer de bom, excepto a vista e decoração, totalmente desaconselhado. Tinha grandes expectativas mas são muito fracos. Não basta mostrar e cobrar como um restaurante upmarket se tratam os clientes com desdém.

We came for the views, and the sushi. We had the scallops as appetizer, which were delicious and a great start to the meal. The sushi was very fresh and well prepared, but the presentation is a little bit basic compared to the atmosphere and price. Service was excellent!
This spot is comparable to somewhere in Los Angeles or big city with the vibe, design, and beautiful staff.

Food way overpriced for what you get. Although tasty, I had to order 2 starters as I paid €16 for two bits of fish on a plate the size of coins! Service was good however, top marks for the staff. Ended up paying nearly €90 for meal for one. That did include wine to be fair, but I ended up eating again approx 4 hours after somewhere else as I didn't feel full at all. Slightly disappointed.

We visited last weekend the Roof top restaurant SILK and enjoyed a wonderful evening by excellent Sushi, amzaing view and very friendly service. We had a reservation (probably neccessary to ask for special dress code & further requirements)

Les cocktails sont basiques, je vous recommande ce lieu uniquement pour sa vue imprenable.
En ce qui concerne les cocktails, ils sont chers, et ne valent pas le détour.
5 étoiles pour la vue -1 pour les cocktails!

Yesterday evening we were turned away from this place despite having a reservation. There was a dress code that they did not inform us about when booking. The dress code: no shorts. In Lisbon. In July.... We would have appreciated being told of that dress code when booking not when arriving on the spot after having walked 25min in the heat. They handled it extremely badly and the manager (Alberto) that took my reservation refused to come down and speak to us to at least apologise. Showing just how little they care about their clients. Anyway, my girlfriend, me and my (smart) shorts were welcomed with open arms at the BA Hotel terrace and had an awesome dinner at the Pharmacia that we recommend! It's important to spend you money where people care for you. And it seems that the Silk does not care.

One of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. We sat at the sushi bar as the restaurant was full (which we were fine with) but after ordering starters we were disappointed from the get go. It took 45 mins for edamame and Gyoza to arrive. Staff were unresponsive and not helpful when we followed up. Our mains were a further 45 mins. We were then given the bill without even asking in an attempt to make us leave. Absolutely appalling. We still had a round of drinks on order, which never arrived. For a supposing high end restaurant and for the prices you'd expect much better. Extremely disappointed.

Diferente, faz falta locais exclusivos claro mas os tugas têm um padrão de exigência bem alto e não se fazem comer por parvos, por favor limpem o pó das escadas e as manchas de cerveja dos candeeiros. O som estava muito bom para um local comercial frequentado por gente que não tem bom gosto musical.

O sushi com muito pouca variedade e muito caro. O gin custa 12€ e é servido com schwepps. O melhor é mesmo a vista porque não foi proporcionada pelo dono do restaurante. Porque tudo o que tenha a ver com o restaurante, atendimento e serviço é muito mau.

Arrogant doorman. Awesome view of the St. George Castle and city. Average drink menu (don't expect anything top shelf). This is the place to go if you enjoy a pretentious crowd that likes to hear themselves talk. The view is awesome, however, so if the doorman deigns you worthy to pass, it is worth a cocktail to see the city at night.

I had a very bad experience. I went a lot of times at the Silk, I live in Lisbon. Last time I went there, they said that I needed a reservation because the bar was full. Every time I went there it was always with the same friend and we never needed a reservation. This time it was with another friend with long hair. I think that's the reason they didn't accept us. One hour later I called them to make a reservation. The doorman told me to come. I was there 10mn later with my friend and when we arrive as he recognized us, he told me that he had no reservation at my name ! He just didn't want to let us go in. He said, if you want to go to the bar you have to buy a bottle of Champagne at 165 euros ! I was shocked but I said : ok ! Just to see. We went to the bar and the waiter asked us what we wanted to drink. I told him an Hendricks and a Martini. He called the doorman to tell him that we were not going to buy a bottle of Champagne. The doorman came to tell me : YOU HAVE TO BUY A BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE ! I asked him why ? The bar is empty, there was only 3 customers. So we started to discuss and he spend his time telling me, speak not that loud. I was not talking loud, but he was upset because the 3 customers were listening our conversation. So he told me, ok drink what you want ! and he left. The 3 customers told me that I was right and they supported me. They were very shocked too.
The doorman doesn't do his job properly. It's not normal. I would like to talk with the owner. I'm going to try to find his contact.
The only nice thing in this place is the view. We are very unwelcome. I'm not the first one saying that. The owner should do something.
