My husband and I both had a great experience with Alla Prima. I was scheduled to get a tattoo with a different artist and they canceled on me, so I was so happy to find Alla Prima while I was in Lisbon for 2 days. They responded to my appointment request right away and fit me in for a tattoo. All of the artists there do beautiful black ink work and truly listen to your vision and make sure you're comfortable before they proceed. They are incredibly professional and the studio is beautiful. Everyone there was warm, friendly, and even gave us awesome suggestions for our roadtrip to Porto. I wish it was easier for us to come back and get another tattoo from them again one day!

One of the highlights from our trip to Portugal was having our tattoos done with Daniel. The complete process from the location, designing, choosing and actually doing the tattoos was excellent. Daniel and his team were really oriented in making you feel comfortable and welcomed. The artwork was amazing and hopefully will be stopping by again in the future.

Awesome staff, kind and professional. Had a tattoo done here by Daniel, and everything, from the discussion about the tattoo design, their attitude towards the client, and the tattoo itself, was beyond words! I don't know other tattoo parlors around Lisbon, so I can't really compare, but I don't even want to! Definitely my go-to place, and totally recommend!

J’ai découvert le salon de Daniel en recherchant un tatoueur à Lisbonne sur Instagram, et j’ai tout de suite flashé sur son travail. Ça correspondait parfaitement à ce que je souhaitais pour mon premier tatouage ! Notre premier échange s’est très bien passé : il m’a rassurée et m’a aidée à me décider sur les derniers points importants (emplacement du tatouage, taille, perspective)… Il a complètement respecté mon idée et a compris très rapidement ce que je voulais. Le jour du tatouage, tout s’est très bien passé : le salon est très propre, tout est impeccable au niveau hygiène, et Daniel est super professionnel. Et je suis ravie du résultat ! La cicatrisation s’est super bien passée également, le résultat est splendide. Daniel did two small tattoos for me. The level of detail in each of them is amazing, he has incredible skills with fine lines and shading - and to top it off, he’s a really nice guy! I can’t recommend this place enough. Their salon is beautiful & professional, just like their art.

From the moment you walk through the door everything about Alla Prima Lisboa makes you want to tattoo your entire body. The salon is beautiful, Ruben welcomes you warmly, and Daniel is probably the most professional artist I have ever encountered. He is courteous, welcoming, and above all extremely talented. All the way from cold, snowy, rainy, cold....(did I say cold?) Holland to Alla Prima Lisboa! What a nice and beautiful studio with even nicer people. I came for a small tattoo with a bigger meaning; birthflowers for my two kids. They are my clan, my tribe, my everything. Daniel was the artist for this job and the tattoo was even more beautiful than I hoped! Fine lining as if it is a pen-drawing. So happy with it! Daniel is a very nice, patient (you have to have a lot of patience with me..) and professional artist, and he delivers. So proud of my little flowers! Don't know if I ever can go to another tattoo-artist than Daniel! So maybe till next time?! "The world is beautiful, but not sayable. That's why we need art."

Great experience! The studio has a cool concept, with a modern clean decoration and a nice vibe (good taste in music is a plus). Had my tattoo with Daniel, all the details of the idea where arranged on the spot, with Daniel capturing my idea in a drawing. The result was a tattoo with great detail, performed with extreme professionalism, which I'm super happy to have. Looking forward to visit again!

Getting tattooed abroad was anxious at first but here they make you feel very comfortable and relaxed. Amazing atmosphere with highly talented and gifted artists. I had the best experience in Alla Prima. The artists are simply amazing. All of them complement each other perfectly and the studio as a whole is able to establish its own very cohesive style. The entire staff is super friendly and the space itself is great. Plan to get back there as soon as possible.

AMAZING!!! Honestly the concept and the tattoo artists are just exceptional!!! They are proper tattoo artist and not only "tattoo drawer", they are involve in the project you want and give you advises and other perspective on how your tattoo could look like on your body and what is best for the concept you want. My tattoo artist was Daniel Almeida and I can say "Thank you" again as the precision and the talent he has for small details, shadows and the point of view on my tattoo concept was unbelievable!!! He understood the signification that have those details for me and made it so so so GOOD!!!! The place is also really beautiful and clean I had no problem with my tattoo and he gave me good advises to clean it. If I have any questions or concerns I can contact him via Instagram or by emails which confirms me that he's really involve in all tattoo projects he has. This studio is definitely A plus destination if you want to get high quality tattoos. I was only traveling to Lisbon for 3 days and I booked an appointment with Daniel after seeing his work online. Daniel did a wonderful piece loaded with astonishing details on my back about a movie of my childhood memories. He was extremely patient and wanted me to be happy with my tattoo. Not like some other tattoo artiest who don’t really care. He genuinely cares about his work and his customers. I saw his sketches hanging on the studio wall and I thought it was an artwork bought somewhere. I was shocked to learn that he actually sketched that. I would say that Daniel is not just a tattoo artist. He is an artist, period. And the day I was tattooed, I also watched another tattoo artiest in the same studio doing drawing his next design and it looks really complexed and sophisticated. One more thing is that my tattoo was 15 inch and it didn’t even bleed at all after I went home, which again proves that it was done really professionally.

Daniel is a wonderful person and amazing tattoo artist, and the tattoo I got is stunning! I booked it way in advance, like in June, and I did it on Monday 26th August. In the meantime, Ruben, the manager of the studio, was in contact with me regarding my idea, but also he was super available for any doubt/concern. The day of the tattoo, I had a long chat with Daniel and we talked a lot about the sketch before actually doing it. This is my 6th tattoo and the first one in Lisbon and in this studio, but the service was incredible. One thing I really appreciated about Daniel was his honesty: his professional insights really made the difference. A tattoo has a certain price not only for the materials, but also and most importantly for the person behind the needle, so if you want something well made, don't go for the first tattoo artist who accepts everything. Daniel, for example, expressed his concerns about doing my tattoo (it's a rectangular form representing an azulejo) on the back, as it would look "too boxy". He was absolutely right, I totally got his point, in fact we changed a bit the original idea and the final result couldn't look more beautiful than it actually is. He also makes you feel very comfortable during the whole process, and he's super nice, funny and talkative! Ask him which one is the tattoo he did that he hated the most ;)

After sending my first email to Alla Prima I got a rapid response from Ruben who gave me some good information and put me into contact with Arie. Arie is an amazing artist and I could tell he put a lot of thought and effort into designing two unique tattoos for my self and my partner. Each tattoo turned out even better than myself and my partner could have expected and we will be telling all our friends how professional Alla Prima Lisboa is! The studio it’s self is amazing! Incredibly clean and a super cool layout. It had a serene atmosphere, the vibe was relaxing and the coffee was good too. Looking forward to hopefully coming back in the future to get another tattoo! Highest quality of work and service, booked my tattoo two days before and they were still able to accommodate me. Just got 2 tattoos done here, one from Juliana and one from Daniel, and they are both amazing. My girlfriend also got a tattoo from Juliana today. Quoted a price up front and I paid exactly that at the end. Clean shop, awesome decor, great natural light, easy to find, and free water, cookies, and coffee. These are my 9th and 10th tattoos, and I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Lisbon.
