Everything was exceptionally nice. The location (next to the castle, in a tiny typical street), the waitress and - of course - the dishes. Well done and more than you would expect. The dish of the day was awesome: bruschetta, sardine toast, pastel de nata and coffee for 14 EUR. Big recommendation! Especially while Victor, some traveling street musician, is playing.

Really lovely little café with a nice selection of food and drinks. Seating inside and outside. Staff really friendly. Definitely not a "tourist trap" :-)

Awesome place! You can sit outside in a calm corner at the castle wall. Service is charming and quality/price of food and beverages fair.

Der Ort ist zauberhaft, die Bewirtung sehr freundlich und rasch und die Sandwiches (besonders das Bacalhao-Toast) waren großartig und lecker.

A must after the Sightseeing Tour through the castle... coffee time to relax!!!
For me probably the best nata in Lisbon!!! I've try it a lot this trip (from Porto to Lisbon) and till today I didn't know you have to add traditionally cinnamon on top which it makes a huge difference.
They close actually around 6pm though on web site description.
Stop by and try the best nata un town and probably in Portugal. Coffee is not that good but I only had Cafe latte and as I know evenings is a Expresso more usual...

Locale situato nella zona del castello di san jorge Assolutamente un esperienza da provare nonostante a primo impatto possa risultare un banale baretto. Infilato in una traversa piccolina offre forse il miglior club sandwich di Lisbona. Da provare assolutamente quello alla sardina. Da evidenziare che superata una spesa di 50 euro vi verrà regalata una bottiglia di vino. Consigliatissimo

Surprising find in a nice little spot. Tostada was very good and pretty good value. Friendly staff, but be prepared to wait - a long time!

Cocktail and wine were ok. However quality price ratio for Portugal horrible. I really not recommend that place. (I didn't try the toasts). Service was friendly.

Chouette petite terrasse à l'ombre des arbres dans une ruelle piétonne très calme (ponctuée de temps à autre par le cri des paons du jardin du château ;-) ).
Personnel adorable et repas bon et copieux sans casser son porte-feuille.

Découvert par hasard, un peu à côté de l'axe du château. Endroit très sympa, les plats sont bons, tarifs contenus et le serveur (qui parle français) très agréable ! Je recommande !

we waited 50 minutes for 2 dishes which were half cold when they arrived, taste was fine. I don't recommend it for lunch maybe for aperitivo.

Super endroit à découvrir pour prendre son temps à Lisbonne.
On se fait «prendre» par cette endroit typique.
Info : la sangria blanche est à tomber !!
La terrasse est vraiment sympa.
Le serveur vraiment cool !! Viens de Belgique, parle français, anglais et portugais

Exceptional little place near the castle. The food was excellent and the waitress was outstanding! Young lady from Nepal. We plan on returning again while we are here.

La comida está exquisita. Hecha de forma natural en su mayor parte.
El personal es profesional, atento y son muy simpáticos (Gracias por la explicación sobre las cervezas del Barrio de Gracia).
Recomendado totalmente, lo encontramos después de visitar el Castillo y la verdad es que volveríamos sin dudarlo si no fuese porque regresamos a España.

Turist trap. Nice outside. Food is low quality and high priced. Service was still sleeping from the Saturday night. Their tabla with unfresh and cheap salumi and cheese. 42 euro in 2 badly spent.

Depuis l'entrée du château, une ruelle sans commerce et à 2 pas, une terrasse tranquille, un petit restaurant sans prétention et une des meilleures pizza que j'ai mangée. A conseiller pour manger rapidement sans sacrifier la qualité

Really liked this place. Unless you are already near the castle itself, be warned, as it is a real hike to get here.
Small, but beautifully decorated and very clean inside. Really nice staff serving, and very good value for money. Quite a good selection of food from the menu.
The only thing I found a bit off putting was the poorly translated menu (in English). If you are ordering food (in English), make sure you ask your server to describe what will be on your plate.
We ended up with dishes that did not fit the description. The food was very nice, but quite different to what we thought we had ordered.
Would recommend nevertheless. Fix the translated menu, and I would easily give this place 5 stars.

Hungrig von der Castello Besichtigung sind wir da eingekehrt und wurden gut bewirtet. Preis Leistung absolut stimmig. Für die etwas längere Wartezeit wurde sich mehrfach Entschuldigt.

Günstiges Essen, sehr netter Service. Nach einem Besuch des Castelo S. Jorge ist dieses Café super geeignet um in Ruhe einen Snack oder einen cafe zu trinken.

Salades correctes, sans plus. Pizzas surgelées, et sandwichs très pauvres. Acceptable pour boire un coup, mais passez votre chemin si vous cherchez un endroit où manger. Le service était moyen.
