The place looks really cheap from outside like a snackbar once you are inside it is actually a nice restaurant and before we were joking about snackbar fado but as a musician myself i can assure you that the music and the singers were really good... deserves much more visitors... the owner should change his front...

This restaurant caters for a great quality food accompanied by beautiful national fado music and all that for an absolutely fair price! (eg average big portion of fish with side is 12-18€)
Rare bonus: a menu in 5 languages and an extra menu w Italian dishes.

Au secours, évitez cette catastrophe.
Tout est dans le titre. Pizza même pas digne d'une pizza d'entrée de gamme prix discount en hypermarché. Poulpe qui baigne dans l'huile (voir photos), beaucoup trop d'ail (croyez-moi....j'adore l'ail et il faut vraiment exagérer pour que cela me déplaise) Poulet bof bof. Sur les 5 ou 6 vins blancs proposés à la carte, il ne restait que le plus cher... J'ai donc pris du rosé. Chanteurs de fado qui poussent un petit peu trop haut la voix à mon goût. Nous étions situés près de la porte, et l'odeur de cigarettes des gens qui fument devant le resto est fort dérangeante. Bref, évitez.

Lugar turístico, cantan algún fado. La comida muy normalita. Tienen platos portugueses y pasta y pizzas. Un poco caro comparado con otros de Lisboa y en las bebidas te la clavan.

I would like to inform customers who are looking to eat here that the restaurant is of very poor quality. While the food service was quick, the food standard itself was not nice. The food was basic, bland and some very overpriced. For example: basic food like rice and vegetables was a rip off (12€), water and bread was charged for as well even though we were told otherwise. When the bill was received the staff were rude when asked regarding the price of food. The environment of the restaurant was very dim and eerie making it uncomfortable. Entertainment wise there was Fado which were okay but would sing one song and then stop and eat or just chat with the other musicians (in one hour and a half we listened to 3 songs).
A place to never come back.

This restaurant is terrible. The information online is incorrect. It’s name has changed and so has the menu they only have half the food they advertise online. Their card machine doesn’t work and they treated us like it was our fault. They don’t understand basic dietary requirements and brought out a dish that was predominately cheese after specifying that I couldn’t have cheese or milk. The manager told people to stop talking when they were having a quiet conversation as the fado singer was playing (he was playing for most of the night). There was 2 of us and we were sitting at a 4 person table and when another customer came in they put her sitting next to us at the 4 person table and just moved us out a little bit despite the fact that the whole other side of the restaurant was empty.

It is the best Arroz de mariso experience in Portuguese at that price. It is quite surprising that when I enter the restaurant round 6-7pm, only very few costumers in the restaurant.

Uma sala com uma decoração bastante modesta contudo o restaurante prima por servir umas doses simpáticas e pratos bem confeccionados. Junta o facto de ter sempre fados à hora do jantar. O valor médio dos pratos ronda os 12€ o que não podemos considerar caros (acessíveis até ) se considerarmos que estamos no bairro alto a jantar e a ouvir fados ao vivo. Mais barato só se jantarem em casa a ouvir o CD da Amália Rodrigues.

I had dinner on June 4th 2018 with my wife and 2 kids - went in ca 5pm w/o checking recommendations first. I had Bacalhau a Bras, my wife had grilled Dourada. We got sick the same night and suffered diarrhea whole night and following day. It ruined my short 3 days holidays in Lisboa.

É um lugar que você janta e escuta Fados sem que necessite pagar nada mais por isso. Não vá pensando que irá escutar fados interruptamente. Os cantores apresentam três músicas e fazem intervalos (é a forma que eles tem de lotar a casa e fazer com que o povo peça as comidas e bebam mais). Pratos com uma média de 12 euros. Aproveite!

Personale gentile. Purtroppo fa molto caldo quando è molto affollato, soprattutto il sabato sera. Piacevole la presenza dei musicisti con la cantante di Fado dal vivo, anche se a volte suonano troppo forte e ciò può dare fastidio. Discreta pasta alla Carbonara.

Attention le pain, le beurre etc sont payants
Après les prix sont assez chers par rapport aux prix des resto typiques
Mais les plats sont généreux et goûteux !
