The best "small" family hotel we ever tried. Annette and Thomas did everything to make our stay superb. We loved the cozy atmosphere in the hotel, like being at home. Wonderful courtyard and Good location too. Nice individual rooms, many with a nice view and not noicy. Bien situé près du belvédère offrant une vue 180 degrés sur Lisbonne, mais c'est aussi un inconvénient puisque le tuktuk débarquent de façon continue de 10h à 19 h avec leurs petarades. Immeuble rustique, les parquets craquent quand on se déplace dans les chambres. Belle chambre avec lit à candélabre et belle salle de bain avec magnifique baignoire. Américain parle, clientèle de trentenaire européenne et américaine. Bon petit déjeuner avec bonne omelette et pain moelleux.

Ting's Hotel, is definitely my suggestion for the most charming and friendly, atmosphere you will find in a hotel around Lisbon. After having explored all parts of central Lisbon, i found Graça, the hood where Ting's is located, to be my favorite area. In this area you will find numerous initiatives of local bars and music venues, such as Crew Hassan, Damas and Desterro, where creative energy flows and social interactions florish. I feel that the owners of Ting's Hotel has made a big effort create a simplistic, charming and welcoming oasis by turning their attention to the details and quality regarding all aspects of the interior and the lovely staff, thus creating feeling of personal attachment and belonging to this place. Thank so much you for that experience!

Die Website war vielversprechend. Die Realität war ernüchternd. Die Lobby, das "Restaurant" und der Garten sind bunt, einladend und besonders. Die Zimmer hingegen sind ein wenig zu gewollt stylisch ohne erkennbaren Grund. Das teuerste Zimmer (Douplex Lounge) hat zwei Bereiche. Schlafen und Bad in einem Bereich und der zweite liegt darüber. Hier stehen zwei Sessel, die zu Gästebetten ausgezogen werden können (ohne Bettzeug) zwei Sitzsäcke, ein Tischchen und ein Minikühlschrank. Ein Raum für was auch immer. Der eigentliche Grund für diesen Bereich liegt im Minibalkon mit einer tollen Aussicht! In beiden Bereichen herrscht Steckdosenmangel und auch im Bad gibt es für den Föhn (um den man extra bitten muss) nur eine Steckdose, die man nur mit einem Stuhl erreicht. Es gibt kein TV (was ich im Urlaub nicht dramatisch finde), aber dass das Internet so toll sein soll, dass jeder Gast seine Filme streamen könne, stimmt nicht! Die Lage des Hotels ist schön, das Personal sehr freundlich. Ich würde allerdings nicht mehr kommen. Dear Annette, thanks for your response. I totally understand you want to provide something special which many people are looking for. But still I'm sure the majority of people on holiday stay in hotels for not caring about anything. We booked 10 nights in advance and didn't want to waste our time with changing to another room or hotel (we booked your best room already). And yes, for your price I expect a certain 'standard' and more important for this price I don't want to have to ask for everything. Thank you for your help the times we did.

Un merveilleux hôtel, propre, bien situé sur le haut de la ville. Un peu sportif d'y arriver mais on s'habitue vite. Petit déjeuner super génial délicieux copieux inclus dans le prix. Seul point noir, literie de la chambre très très ferme au point d'avoir mal partout au lever. Dommage parce que c'est un vrai paradis. Chambre donnant sur le jardin un peu bruyante le matin mais rien de gênant WiFi faible

Bildschönes Boutique-Hotel nahe eines Miradors, über den Dächern Lissabons mit atmosphärischem, kleinen Gartenhof, einer grünen Oase mit Hibiskus und Zitronenbaum, toller Aussicht und einer süßen Katzenbande. Spektakuläres Frühstück mit allem, was Lust macht. Einzig die mitgelebte angrenzende Dachterrasse und der Blick von dort durch ein Oberfenster auf Bett und Waschtisch im Zimmer waren mir persönlich manchmal zu intim.

Situato a due passi da nostra segnora do monte, in un quartiere artistico e unico. All'interno c'è un bar con cucina anche per esterni e un giardino da scoprire! Stanze ben disposte e bagni comodi, puliti. Colazione sana a base di pane homemade + burro e marmellate, uova cotte al momento secondo il proprio gusto, smoothie, succo d'arancia spremuto poco prima..the e caffè! I ragazzi che gestiscono l'hotel sono disponibili e carinissimi..davvero consigliato!

Superb hotel, to be recommended without any hesitation for people who care about an over the top, esasy-going and professional, artsy and serene ambience. Staying in a top-floor room with a private terrace and views over the historical district and Tajo River has, on repeated visits, been sublime. Comfy, large bed, all spotlessly clean and, last but not least, being pampered with a most delightful, earthy breakfast in the morning - it could indeed be hard to beat this jewel of a small-modern boutique hotel indeed. A big thank you to (cosmopolitan) owners Annette&Thomas and their staff!

No doubt. The best and most urban living hotel in Lisbon, maybe even entire Europe. How come? Because Annette & Thomas knows from their travel experience what is needed for accommodation when you are on the road. Warm and welcoming staff, peaceful rooms with good atmosphere, good and healthy food from Cuzinha Urban and a lot of honest recommendations from the host of places where to eat, drink and kiss. Don’t miss out this place, but please have in mind. Annette & Thomas does not call this a hotel just to be special. It’s urban living. No elevator, you may carry your luggage your self to the room and you may also have to talk to the others guest who are here for the same reason as you. Meeting people when travelling. My warmest recommendation.

The first thing you notice when you enter Tings in Lisbon, is that this place is run by people who have an idea and a vision with their place. Every detail reeks of the same dedication for making your stay as nice and inspiring as possible. Deliberately combining rooms for business people - and cheaper ones for young travellers and/or less well off people - says everything about their attutude. They want different kinds of people, not only to stay, but to meet at their place. They want life at their place. That's why the rooms are relatively small (but very nice, made with great care, and all different), and that's why the great common spaces - in- and outdoor - are the main focus of the building. Try it - you won't regret it.

So refreshingly unspoiled and authentic situated in a quit area of Lisbon. We spend a week and met the most amassing couple hosting the hotel. Service minded and always ready to give good advice on where to go and where to eat. Small but well equipped rooms. You don’t need more. The homemade bread for breakfast make you an addict of this hotel. And not to forget the afternoon tea under the lemon trees on the terrace. Go there!

This place has style, comfort, a great atmosphere, and a great location. We felt relaxed and at home right away. The owners are really lovely and they have a big heart for their business and that shows. I loved all the artwork and sense of style every room has. The garden is lovely with its beautiful view, trees, plants, and lounge areas, I could hangout out there the whole day easily. I loved the bedrooms minimalistic style, the light colours, comfy bed and a lovely little balcony overlooking the garden. Looking forward to visiting again!

Tings Lisbon is the rare combined experience of good taste, functionality and good vibes. Just like you want your home to be it's a a place where the internet works, the food is nurishing and simple but always made of fresh ingredients and the decoration is beautiful and cosy but not pretentious. Breakfast in the cosy cafe or in the cute garden with homemade bread and jam in a friendly atmosphere is just a perfect way to start the day. The rooms are individually decorated and we were lucky to get a suite in 2 floors with a lounge and balcony overviewing the whole city. As it was the top floor it was also very quiet and private. BTW: the prices are very reasonable and you get much more than can be paid with money - ambiance, friendliness, homy comfyness comes from the people who runs it - their love for the place and their caring for the guests.

The service and the rooms were great. The breakfast is amazing. The hotel is located in walking distance from almost anything you would want to see or experience. The Owners are also the nicest people to host you.

Itt's a hotel, but soooo much more than that. The atmosphere, the coziness, the breakfast, the courtyard with the huge lemon tree and the wonderful art hanging in the wonderfully individually decorated room (had to go and see them all!) makes this a home away from home. Both for vacation but also for business. The host Thomas and Annette knows all about where to go and what to see in the city - but not from a tourists point of view. We were the only tourists at the small Fado restaurant that they recommended, the only tourists at the very primitive but super nice fish restaurant. Thomas and Annette know the we - the guests - come for the local experience. Cant wait to walk out the door from the hotel, 75 meters to the left - and spend an afternoon drinking my coffee from the best viewpoint of Lissabon. Have been there twice and will return. This is a hotel you return to - again and again.

Tings Hotel is one of the cosiest hotels we have stayed. 3-min walk from Rua da Graça where you can do daily shopping and eat out. 30 seconds from the famous Miradouro da Senhora do Monte where you can enjoy the best views! You will definitely not regret staying here.

Stayed at Tings with my boyfriend and friends for an extended weekend in November. We stayed at a spacious room on the top floor. Nice big bathroom, and great view over Lisbon from the private balcony. The hotel has a nice, lush garden. Great place to have your coffee or breakfast. Its easy to get to and from the hotel to airport, city centre etc., with (very inexpensive) Uber. Great value for money. Will stay at Tings again.

Tings is the best place to stay with the best views and location in town. We enjoyed our stay so much: the atmosphere of the lovely garden, the simple breakfast, the cozy hotel where every single room is unique. Waooo - you can actually filter a room by art. Have never seen that before. It makes it very personal and it differentiates from other hotels. Last but not least the best hosts are ready to welcome you with their best advices and a lot of knowledge about Lissabon and the surrounding area. Look forward staying at Tings again.

The reception from the Danish owners, Thomas and Annette, is friendly and endlessly helpful . The hotel is a beautifully converted Portuguese house, quirky and design-conscious, it has rooms on different levels with pretty balconies, and common areas inside and out , where you can meet and chat with other guests . The rooms have everything you need and if its not there , the staff will get it for you . The breakfast is healthy and delicious . 3rd time I've lived at Tings and all times have been filled with warm, heart, cleanliness and happiness. The location is top notch. To the right you have the Graca district with local life. To the left the best view of all in Lisbon and down the hill you are in the center of Lisbon.

Cozy hotel situated fantastic in Lisbon. Very nice and clean room with an amazing view of the city from the balcony. Good homemade breakfast in the beutyful garden. The hosts Annette and Thomas are very helpful. We will definately come back.

Unique atmosphere in central Lisbon. Located at the top of Lisabons best view point. We had at fabulous weekend in sept . The staff is very friendly and helpful to make our stay like being at home. Things garden is fantastic with a great view.

I have been staying at Tings several times during the renovation of my flat. Its a lovely homely place. Nice rooms, great garden and lovely staff. Excellent for both socialising and work. Although called 1-star the hotel it]s actually much more.... really enjoyable, cool style.

A rare gem tucked away just in front of an amazing view point. This place is really great. The staffs are very polite and helpful and the bar has an option to sit outside under a lemon tree, oozing with lemons and smelling like the faint yesterday mixed with freshly baked pie.

Lovely place, one of the best neighbourhoods in Lisbon, authentic without being overrun by tourists and yet still within easy reach of most of the major sights. Beautiful, dramatic views, lush garden and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Quiet and quaint rather than luxurious in the most material sense. A sense of home away from home.

Beliggenheden er bogstavelig talt helt i top placeret en spytklat fra et af Lissabons smukkeste udsigtspunkter Miradoura da Graça. I den gamle bydel Graça vil du finde et lille landsbysamfund i storbyen med hyggelige små spisesteder og barer med lokal stemning. Ned af bjerget vil du opleve en smeltedigel af nationaliteter og multietniske samfund. Her finder du de lækreste spisesteder i stejle gader med kulørte huse med de karakteristiske smukke, kakkelbeklædte facader. Blandet med rå street art og faldefærdige bygninger emmer kvartererne omkring Tings af lokal, originalitet og atmosfære. Det anbefales at gå ned til lissabons centrum, som kan gøres på 20 min, og driller bentøjet, så nyd en tur tilbage til Tings i tuk tuk, en af de legendariske, charmerende sporvogne (nr. 28) eller bussen, som stopper ca. 10 minutters gang fra Tings. Tings er indrettet personligt med et stilsikkert strejf af kunst og kultur i form af skiftende kunstudstillinger i restauranten, til street art på væggene i haven, bøgerne på reolerne, jazzen i højttaleren og smukke, afstemte farver og materialer. Overalt i Tings findes der referencer til værtsparrets mange udlandsrejser og ikke mindst fra Tings i Katmandu, og du bl.a. kan købe små gaver som smykker, tørklæder, the og sæbe m.v. herfra designet af værtsparret selv.   Værelserne er smukke og hyggelige med hvert deres tema. Jeg sov i en skøn seng med en rigtig dyne og lækkert sengetøj i det hyggelige ”Garden room”, og jeg nød den direkte adgang til den idylliske have med dens små skyggefulde terrasser og plads i solen. Skulle du komme til Lissabon, så snyd ikke dig selv for denne oplevelse Tings ene stjerne er ikke retvisende for den fantastiske oplevelse, der venter dig der, og jeg vil ikke selv tøve med at vende tilbage.

Rigtig godt hotel. Dejlig placering, lidt væk fra turistmasserne men stadig i gå-afstand til attraktionerne. Stedet er virkeligt hyggeligt, meget nærværende og afslappet stemning. Morgenmaden var god og sengene bløde. Virkelig god til prisen. Stor anbefaling herfra.

Beliggenhed, charme og personlighed! På toppen af et af de smukke udsigtsposter i Lissabon ligger en perle: Tings Lissabon. Hotellet er indrettet meget personligt med forskellige lækre, lette værelser, med udsigt og altaner. Vi kunne sidde på vores. Det er fantastisk hvordan man har indrettet fællesområderne. Mange af dem udendørs i form af den hyggeligste have. Der er mange steder at sidde, slænge og at være som man har lyst. Flere om et bord, en på en daybed i haven eller alene med sin computer i haven. Og lige som ens egen altan er optaget af ens børn, finder man en fælles altan på gangen hvor man kan sidde og sole sig. Det er virkelig godt tænkt. Vi kunne sidde her i timer og bare hænge ud! Iøvrigt også et fantastisk sted at sidde med sin computer, læse en bog eller andet i ens eget private rum. Tings har en rigtig god morgenmad og fra restauranten som er tilknyttet, kan man i løbet af dagen og aften kan bestille fra et godt og enkelt menukort. Igen et plus, da vi nogle gang blev overmandet af træthed om aften efter en lang tur i byen. Men det hele starter og slutter ved ejerne af Tings. De har tidligere lavet Tings i Nepal og det mærker man også her i Lissabon i stemning og materialer. De er de sødeste mennesker og de har altid gode tips og ideer. Vi brugte deres blog fra hjemmesiden meget, blandt andet til at finde de lækreste strande som man nemt kommer til fra byen og deres tips og guides til byen. Så start allerede her og man vil hurtigt se, at Tings Lissabon er noget særligt. Vi rejste en gruppe som teenagere og voksen og alle er enige. Vi glæder os allerede til næste gang!

Highly recommended hotel! My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was amazing with homemade bread, smoothie, orange juice, and omelet. All the staff members were so kind and nice. When we got into trouble, they were really helpful. I should also note that the location is good as well.

What a location and ambiance both inside this cute place and litereally outside the door...The atmosphere created reeks of personal touch and absolute dedication to the travellers. The attention to our needs and the all at Tings bring mirrors the details that make this place so special. Homey... at the same time as a hangout both inside the lounge bar and in the wonderful little garden for breakfast or 6 o'clock drinks. The wonderful Cashmere shawls that Annette have designed i just loved And the prices are truly competitive...I walked away with 2 large ones for myself ... wonderfully oversized and also for my daughter-in-laws! they loved them as well

Just returned from Tings Lisbon. It is very relaxing but still a very living place. Good spirit, nice staff and good personal services from the dedicated owners couple. The hotel is placed with the beautiful view over the city, and the rooms are so tastefully restored and decorated. The garden terrace is cool and cozy. Food and drinks the best. Breakfast with homemade bread. So we will come back again for sure - and we hereby give Tings Lisbon our finest recommendation for a business or a pleasure stay

Bed and breakfast particolare vicino al centro di Lisbona. Le camere sono tutte diverse l'una dall'altra e ognuna con le sue particolarità che potrete amare o odiare: bagno diviso in due ad esempio nella garden room oppure letto appoggiato direttamente sul pavimento nella triangle room. Personalmente le ho apprezzate molto. Il punto forte della struttura è la colazione veramente a 5 stelle,potrete chiedere qualsiasi cosa e vi verrà portata. I ragazzi che lo gestiscono sono poliglotti e conoscono perfettamente l'inglese

AMAZING OASIS THAT FEEL LIKE HOME AWAY FROM HOME ...REALLY TINGS LISBON is really a HOME-AWAY-FROM-HOME. Not a cliché like in most places. This newly build boutique hotel is designed in every detail by Danish couple (who also has a similiar place in Kathmandu) to make you feel welcomed, relaxed, easy-going - and above all; At home. Hotel is perfectly located (in Graca) only 50 meters from Lisbon most famous sunset-spot (Mira Doura) with city center and lots of bars, restaurants and sights just 15 min walk away. Every room has its own particular design and interiur - everything is clearlypicked out just for each room in mind. Quality and service is that of a 5-star hotel, yet ambiance is that of a cosy B&B. The south-facing inner garden is perfect for relaxing after a long day sightseeing or working day - with lots of small spot to find tranqulity - or get know other hotel guests who all seem to embrace the feeling of being at home. And the staff goes out of their way to accommodate your needs - in my case a sudden case of flu which resulted in several hot remidies of ginger, garlic, lemon and honey :-)

5 stars from us - this is just a very very good place to stay. We slept very very well for 4 days at Tings. This is far from a standard hotel - we found ambience, a lovely garden with morning sun and fantastic views overlooking old Lisbon. The best breakfast with freshly baked bread and a menu that tempts to stay all day :-) Rooms are all individual -high standard - very cosy, ambient and functional. Located in a quiet street, no noise from parties or traffic. Charming neighbourhood with small restaurants, bakeries, bars and a lot of local shops. The best sundown spot just 50 meters from the hotel with stunning views. We have been travelling Portugal for 15 years and Tings has been our best hotel stay in Lisbon :-) Rikke Hansen og Peter M. Unfortunately I spent one night only in Tings. I usually have a hard time sleeping in new places, but Tings immediately felt like home, and only the super delicious and extremely delicate food got me to get out of the comfy bed in the morning. If I should miraculously grow young and beautiful, I will propose to marry the chef! Will be back with friends and family. :)

When in Lisbon, this is where you want to be living if you ask us. The owners are great hosts, made us feel very comfortable - such a power-couple. you will be staying in class and style with your global family of perpetual travellers, bon vivants and other thrill or chill seekers. Oh and you’ll be staying a stones-throw away from our favorite miradouro in Lisbons coolest barrio. No doubt - a lot of love has been poured into this place. Our room was so comfortable and beautiful! The view from the hotel is excellent. Breakfast is delicious and the staff was kind, welcoming and cool! Thank you for having us, such a pleasure!

Tings is outstanding. It offers an atmosphere second to none, the interior is trendy without being pretentious and the staff are very competent and helpful. The hosts are very warm-hearted persons and shines with a glance over the beautiful surroundings in Graca, which is situated in the old and “artistic” area and door to door with the best mirador (Miradouro de Nossa) in Lisbon. The areas offers the best local restaurant in the town and the rooms are all very personal and “hand made”with special furnitures and arts in every room. All the best to Tings in Lisbon – it certainly has karma.
