A small but very cosy place with lovely interior. The food is absolutely delicious and probably the most authentic Japanese you will find in Lisbon. The owners are extremely friendly and lovely people. Dining at OnigiriA feels like having a great home cooked meal in your living room, overall just an amazing experience.

The OnigiriA is a lovely restaurant and bar in Madragoa. Thanks to the lovely Family there I had a wonderful time and also the probably best Onigiri in Portugal. I will definitely be back many times.

Great food! The only place in Lisbon to get authentic Onigiri. Fresh items appear on the menu almost daily and super friendly owners make this place a must go!

I have just been there with my boyfriend and the whole experience was so amazing. It’s a charming little place with relaxed music and the French lady who owns the shop is extremely open and incredibly nice and welcoming. It’s a cozy place to feel like at home. The onigiri were freshly made to order ( I’ve never had that before) and the variations are so creative and tasty. If you go you HAVE TO try the “crispy” onigiri. It’s incredibly delicious. The sauce is great too! Do if you want great food and company that’s just as good, this is the place to come!

Very cosy. Arts and a mix of kitsch objects made the decoration of this little but cute place. The owner Christine, is welcoming, friendly...a great host! and the dishes she presents have authentic Japanese flavours and are very tasty. The list of onigiris have all a twist ingredient and I'd loved to try them all one day. I had the crispy one with shiitake mushrooms (yum) and a bowl of soba noodle soup which was soo comforting on a winter night. My 4 years old had a pork Tomkatsu and she finished it in a blink. Surprise of the evening: there was a lady friend of Christine who start singing fado upon our request and that filled the hearts of all the people in the room. Would definitely be back!

Fabulous! A perfect mix between Japaneese and French good with a drop of Los Angeles hippie style. Best food and atmosphere (no tourist) in Lisboa! Go there.

Stopped by here randomly after we left our apartment and was delighted to find some Japanese flavor in Lisboa. This is owned and run by Christina, who is French and lived in LA for 25 years and trained under a master Japanese chef. The food is understated, simple yet delicious! The onigiri is amazing...we got the crispy mushroom, cucumber, tuna, and daikon. All fresh and house made with a side of simple arugula salad and miso soup. It’s the perfect early lunch/ light snack food in a true European style of sitting in a neighborhood, relaxing and enjoying the moment. Will definitely be back!

Accueil très sympathique et chaleureux, Christine nous accueille comme à la maison. Sa cuisine japonaise est excellente, très bon rapport qualité prix! A ne pas rater!!

Lovely experience, one of our best dinners in Lisbon. The Onigiri are made to order and really delicious. We tried all 3 vegetarian flavors and liked the Crispy one best, though all three were really good. But the best were the people - the lovely owners and the equally social guests. Highly recommended, both for the food and the company!

ONIGIRI-A est une petit Bar à Lisbonne très sympa et très accueillant où vous pouvez venir boire un verre ou déguster un Onigiri (leur spécialité) et c'est vraiment trop bon !! Christine la chef des lieux est une personne fantastique et très sympa qui parle toutes les langues donc tout le monde peut communiquer avec elle. Elle nous a beaucoup aidé pour découvrir Lisbonne et nous donner des infos dont on avait besoin. Je vous recommande d'aller y faire un petit tour c'est vraiment trop sympa.

Un délice de mets japonais traditionnels!!!! Et un chaleureux accueil de Christine comme chez elle

Amazing & delightful discovery of an authentic rice ball Atelier in the heart of Lisbon, I happened to pass by when I thought I was lost my way back to the hotel. Kitchen was already closed but a fabulous lady, the owner kindly offered me delicious take away Onigiri sooooo delightful, I definitely come back & recommend to anyone
