Choć stolica Portugalii pęka w szwach od mnogości knajp, barów czy restauracji z pokazami fado, jest jedno miejsce, które pozostawiło w mojej pamięci wyjątkowe wspomnienie i niezatarte wrażenie. Palacio Chiado, bo to o nim mowa, zaprasza strudzonych wędrowców na drinka lub kolację na piętrze. Kiedy wydaje Ci się, że podjąłeś już decyzję co do nocnego wyjścia, wkraczasz w wykwintny, cyrkowy świat, niczym z filmów Davida Lyncha i nagle nic nie jest już takie oczywiste. Witraże jak u Stanisława Wyspiańskiego, sklepienie jak z przykościelnej kaplicy, płótna wielkości Twojego pokoju oraz uskrzydlony, złoty lew —uważaj, Lizbona bywa niebezpiecznie pociągająca!

Comida muito boa, preço honesto, os atendentes são atenciosos, o lugar é lindo, o unico cuidado é que no cardápio do dia, tem opção de tomar uma taça de vinho por 1,50 euro, mas se repetir as proximas irão custar 5 euros, mas isto não está explicito no cardápio, tomei 4 taças e minha esposa 1, dava para ter comprado uma garrafa que sairia mais barato

Bij binnenkomst werden we als ‘echte’ gasten behandelt, er was niet gelijk een tafel vrij dus konden wij boven aan een schitterende cocktail-bar een drankje nuttigen. Eenmaal aan tafel was de bediening uitzonderlijk vriendelijk en professioneel. Het eten was verrukkelijk voor de prijs die je er voor betaald. Gezellige informele sfeer, dus geen restaurant om even rustig samen te eten. Obrigado!

Unieke ervaring om te lunchen/dineren in een voormalig paleis. Het restaurant heeft 5 keukens, welke allemaal van één kaart te combineren zijn. Vriendelijke bediening en ondanks alles vriendelijke prijzen. Een Must-do! Voor de mooiste plekken zeker reserveren!

Excellent service, very good food, relaxed atmosphere in a very nice but still informal place. Waiter was really thoughtful and had great recommendations for us. Extensive Portuguese-only wine list that I was unfamiliar with but the sommelier was very helpful. Very enjoyable evening.

Food & drinks were good, as was service. Lobster tacquitos, Tuna tacquitos and Pork tacquitos we're delicious. Music was not too loud, so was able to have conversations inside. Would definitely return.

Ресторан был выбран по отзывам. Без бронирования был предложен столик на первом этаже. Само здание и залы великолепны. Гостей всегда много.
Меню имеет несколько разделов: мясо, рыба, вегетарианство ....
Мясо подавали с жилами и не соответствующей прожарки.
Тунец.....был великолепен!
А вот вегетарианский рис басмани с овощами и карри.....был острый до невозможности.
Нас не предупредили о качестве остроты. Мы попросили сделать блюдо менее острым (ну как смогли - так и пояснили))))).
Разбавленное водой блюдо вернули через 5 минут)))))))))

Arrived in Lissabon at fridaynight 17/5 we wanted to have dinner in CP. It was horrible the young waiter almost throw the menu on our plates. We waited 30 minutes to order a drink, he didn’t show up, so I went up to the bar and asked for our drinks to be served . We had a little to eat and left.
Next day we also reserved, football in town, Benifica. The city was chaos, no public transport or taxi, we arrived at CP 1 hour with delay. Alissa maitre’d was very kind, hospitable, and service minded, she recognised us from the day before. She said we could have choice to have dinner upstairs in the beautiful rooms or downstairs. She looked when we were seated if everything was ok . The waiters who worked on saturday were older and more compassioned then the day before . The food was supernice, Alissa made our day

Lugar lindo, afinal é um palácio! Comida muito boa e com excelente apresentação. O preço não e dos mais baratos mas se você for no almoço poderá pedir o almoço executivo. Aí o preço e bom pelo que oferecem no menu. A noite tem um bar no 1 andar muito charmoso.

둘이서 살몬포케와 실로인 스테이크 두개 시켜서 배부르게 먹었는데도 32유로 였어요! 미디움웰던으로 요청했구요 같이 구워져나온 양송이 버섯과 먹으면 진짜 맛있구요 간도 적당했습니다. 같이 나온 살몬포케도 너무 맛있었어요! 실내 인테리어도 멋있구, 리스본 오면 꼭 와봐야 하는 곳 중 하나라고 생각합니다.

Le Palace Chiado nous a subjugué tant par son décor qui en fait presque un monument à visiter, que par la médiocrité de son service... Nous avons était reçues par un serveur très agréable et compétent, puis les choses se sont vite gâtées. Un autre serveur s'est occupé de nous, avec une nonchalance non dissimulée. Nous avons commandé deux cocktails qui sont arrivés bien après les plats, alors que nous avons relancé plusieurs fois le serveur qui nous disait "oui oui ça vient", pour en fait s'en désintéressé une fois les talons tournés. Le plat de légumes était médiocre. Nous avons fini par obtenir de l'eau à la moitié de notre repas après 4 relances également. Les cocktails n'étaient vraiment pas terribles et pour couronner le tout le serveur désagréable s'est permis de se moquer de nous ouvertement... Quel manque de professionnalisme ! A éviter

Fantastic location! Just entering the restaurant is an experience. The food is good, but it has its ups and downs. The burrata is world class, but the thawed merengo was not a hit. Why pre-cook and deep freeze a desert that is so easy to prepare? The service was below par, we got no attention at all. Pro tip - If You keep the wine off table for serving by the waiter - make sure the waiter is monitoring the customers glasses. We had to ask for pouring of wine and water during rhe whole evening.

Boa experiência tanto nos pratos como no restaurante. O espaço é muito bonito, o atendimento foi muito bom. Sobre os pratos, o rigatoni de camarão estava muito bem temperado, a massa poderia ter ficado um pouco mais cozida, porque não estava nem al dente. O atum braseado com arroz asiático estava muito bom, porém o atum poderia estar um pouco mais temperado. As sobremesas estavam excelentes, foram um cheesecake de caramelo e uma pavlova de doce de leite. Em geral, recomendo o local.

Eigentlich eine sehr tolles Restaurant, toll eingerichtet, der zweite Stock lässt Überraschungen offen. Jedoch ist das Personal sehr unfreundlich, der Service miserabel und sehr teuer. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis einfach nur ein Witz. Es gehen Sachen vergessen und man ist nicht offen um es auszubaden. Schade das es so ist, den das Konzept wäre toll.

Perfect lunch! They have 4 options in lunch menu(pasta, fish, risotto, meat). Dish with drink is only 13euro. But lunch meal is not in the english menu. So, need to ask someone. Anyway beautiful place and delicious dish! Highly recommand!!

O espaço é fantástico. Este é o primeiro ponto a destacar. Em segundo lugar, o menu dispõe de imensas alternativas, de imensos tipos de comida, não se limitando a um estilo de comida. O prato que escolhi foi de carne, e apesar da dose não ter o tamanho ideal para mim, a qualidade da comida, o espaço e o atendimento, fizeram com que a visita valesse a pena. Recomendo.

I didn’t have a reservation on a Friday night yet the graceful receptionist prepared a small but great table for me. This former palace has been transformed into a multi-room restaurant. Try sitting upstairs - it’s more grandiose. Service was wonderful. My food was too: a delicious fish soup (complex, flavorful) and a perfectly cooked salmon with an original rice/vegetable/fruit salad. Even the herb butter and the crusty bread were excellent. I hope my next visit is as memorable as this one.

메뉴판에는 요일메뉴가 없기때문에 식당앞에 있는 요일메뉴 보고 가세요 요일메뉴는 11.9유로 입니다. 구글후기보고갔는데 메뉴판에 없어서 물어봤는데 겁나 모른다는 표정으로 없다고함.. 스테이크시켰는데 미디움레어로 시키니까 겁나 고기 퍽퍽하고 육즙다빠지게 구워서 그냥 집에서 스테이크 고기사서 구워먹는게 훨씬맛있을겁니다. 갈려면 요일메뉴시키시고 아님 가지마세요ㅎㅎ

외국인 메뉴에는 런치 메뉴를 일부러 제외했습니다. 비싼 메뉴를 주문하고 나니 옆 테이블 메뉴판에는 13유로 짜리 저렴한 정식 메뉴가 있네요. ㅡㅡ
I ordered expensive menu(about 50 euros) for lunch because there was no 'menu for today' in foreigner's menu. When I saw next table's menu in Portuguese, there was a 'menu for today' and it was only 13 euros. I'm so dissapointed about it.

Erg mooi paleis waar je heel luxe en uitgebreid kan eten. Toen we gingen zitten kregen we gelijk stokbroodjes met schaaltjes ham, roomkaas en olijven. Het was een beetje een rare verrassing dat deze schaaltjes uiteindelijk voor ongeveer 4-6 euro per stuk op de bon stonden terwijl wij er niet om gevraagd hadden. Daardoor was het opeens wel een stuk duurder dan we vooraf ingeschat hadden, maar desalniettemin wel goed gegeten in een mooie omgeving.

My favorite meal in the last 4 weeks of travel!! The ambiance of this place is high class and trendy. I was the only one dining on a Tuesday evening at 8. There were a couple of ppl drinking at the bar. It has a cool concept of 6 restaurants/kitchens in it. I ordered the smoked ham and oxtail croquette and codfish pastel. I couldn’t choose which I liked more!! Both were flavorful and the perfect amount for 3€ a piece. Then for my entree ordered was the braised quail with 2 fried eggs. I literally said “wow” when the dish was presented to me. The presentation of the meal was on point. Seriously all the flavors on the dish melted in my mouth. The quail was juicy and I felt the portions were just right. I came out of there was a full stomach and a gourmet meal that was only 22.50€?!?! How are more people not flocking here!? Recommended

Not great. Went there for a night cap last night with two friends and the first waiter who met is at the door was not welcoming at all. The place was 15% occupied and she grilled us in if we had a reservation. I looked around and asked if we really needed one for drinks. She reluctantly called her colleague upstairs to ask “if there was space”. Of course there was (again, many more empty tables than not). We go up stairs and wanted to sit in the main room but they ushered us to a dark side room. Once I protested, they let us sit in the main room.
I don’t understand why any business would treat clients this way. Shouldn’t they be happy that people came by and decided to actually stay and consume??

We ate our last dinner in Portugal here and what a great meal it was. Aside from the food and service being really great, the place looks AWESOME. You get the feeling of a 3 michelin star place but with normal prices.

Mains were good. We had lobster linguine and mushroom truffle risotto (though lobster were a tad too hard. Starters however were disappointing - pork tacos tasted bland and pork was overcooked. Service was sub par - mostly ignored and interactions were kept to minimal (didn't ask our food). Atmosphere is quite nice!

Went here for lunch and it was a rather good meal. At the time I picked shrimp curry, one of the daily menu dishes, and it tasted really nice. The spiciness was well balanced with the curry flavor and both the rice and the shrimp were well cooked.
The service was nice and quick, although at the time there weren't many people there. The space is rather pleasant and there is bar service also.

Pra começar a decepção, nós deixamos de comer em outro restaurante, pra descobrir que o principal que é o bacalhau eles não tinham no dia, apesar de estar no cardápio. Depois fizemos o pedido e a garçonete entendeu errado, não anotou 1 prato, e depois de muita demora trouxe 5 pratos pra 6 pessoas, e ainda achou ruim quando falamos. O último prato que foi esquecido demorou mais ainda pra chegar. Pra completar a experiência como estávamos perto da cozinha, dava pra ouvir a gritaria do chef na cozinha, uma desorganização total.

Pedimos bacalhau e não tinha pra começar. Depois pedimos 6 pratos e só vieram 5 e ainda queriam discutir que pedimos somente 5. O chefe gritando com a equipe o tempo inteiro ao lado dos clientes. Total falta de organização, não recomendo mesmo

Not a great experience. The waiter came to take our order with an eye roll. We were not asked how our food was or if we would like any additional drinks including water. My dish was supposed to include mussels, scallops, and shrimp. It had one scallop, which was very good, two mussels that had not been cleaned well, along wish surprise calamari. The bread was good. Over all not a great experience.

Die Erwartungen werden sowas von nicht erfüllt. Die Empfangsdame bekommt bei der Begrüssung erst mal eine Gesichtsentgleisung. Dann wurden wir trotz Reservierung nach 2h wieder hinaus bevördert.
Service jung und bemüht. Das Essen ist maximal durchschnittlich. Bei unserem Besuch in Lissabon, war es mit Abstand das schlechteste Essen überhaupt. Das einzige was man empfehlen kann, ist die Bar. Die machen da vorzügliche Amaretto Sour.

This place is great. Good food in a unique setting. If you are looking for somewhere to have a special meal then this is it. Do visit beforehand to decide which room you want to eat in. You can choose off the separate menus and I am sure the italian menu is good but you are in Portugal so look at the meat and fish menus. I had grouper and the fresh veg set it off well.

The space and the concept have changed.
Is now a expensive restaurant with most of the recipes of the previous Palacio Chiado.
In the end people pay twice for the same meal.
In my opinion, I would prefer a more casual restaurant like it was before.

Everything we ordered tasted great except the cuttlefish which was really bland. We came to the restaurant at the busy hours so we had to wait about half an hour before getting seated to then wait another 15 minutes to order. The dish I got was a sirloin steak with french fries and a salad with a balsamic vinaigrette. It tasted really good but I felt that because the fries were in this separate little bucket getting everything in one bite wasn't as natural. This was important because individually everything was a bit too strong. The steak was too salty and the acidity of the salad was too much. I would have wanted the fries on the same plate but that would have compromised the plating of the dish so the choice is understandable.

Disappointing! The food was extremely salty and with huge pieces of garlic. Honestly I can't say anything about the taste because I only tasted salt and garlic. Also the service was unfriendly and not attending the customers. When I complained about the salty food the waitress only laughed.. Maybe her English was not good enough to understand my concern. But not a restaurant I would suggest!

We went to Chiado Palace on our last night in Lisbon. It has six themes to choose from the menu and several rooms to be fine in. We choose from the meat menu and ate in in a room on the 1st floor. Our waiter brought us a plate of bread, slices meats and olives which we tucked into... not realising these were chargeable items... just be mindful of that! The food was good and the service was impeccable, but we wouldn't rush back there.

混んでいるようなので、すいている時間にと思い、16時に入ると1階の入口のレストランしか開いていませんでした。他の店は19時からとのこと、タコの焼き物を頼んで見ましたが、今回の滞在中一番高くて不味いものが出て来てガッカリでした。それだけで済ませて、館内を探検、見て回るかいは一応有りました。

Great experience: we booked our dinner through the fork app on an October Saturday night at 6:30pm and we got two options, 7pm or 10pm. We grabbed the 7pm one and although we were a bit late we had no problem getting our table. The place is a formal palace with a very impressive staircase leading to the second floor (which where we got our table). Since we were early, as far as the evening goes, we got immediate service and our waiter was very attentive and quick throughout the next hour and a half or so even though the place was filling up quickly. My wife had an excellent onion soup and a decent steak (no fish for her) and I had the octopus. The steak was tasty, perhaps a little less than the medium she asked for (although she noticed that in Portugal, medium tends to be closer to rare than medium-well-done) and my octopus was excellent. We had even room for desert which was also great. The restaurant has at least two levels (I think only two) but has a few smaller sized area which tends to be less crowded. Prices tend to be more on the higher scale but you get some free starters (bread, olives, butter with some herbs). All in all very pleasant experience.

Da última vez que fui lá pedi um hamburger (médio) passado mas quando o prato chegou, o mesmo estava completamente cru por dentro. Apesar de ter reclamado, a minha reclamação não foi resolvida nem levada a sério.

Отметила это место на Гугл карте уже и не помню при каких обстоятельствах! Отзывы были противоречивы: из них я сделала вывод: красиво и не очень вкусно, особенно ругали мясо, но так как мы не мясоеды и проходили мимо во время обеда решили: так и быть-сюда! Интерьер просто поразил, мы выбрали столик на 2 этаже возле балкона с видом! Обслуживание на высоте-первый раз в Португалии были в заведении такого уровня обслуживания и подачи! Я выбрала ризотто с грибами и трюфелем -очень вкусно! Муж взял что то-думал Рыба-оказался осьминог и каким то гарниром, мы так и не поняли что это было-блюдо оказалось слишком соленым, но осьминог был хорошо приготовлен! Вино что нам посоветовал официант было бесподобно! Я однозначно советую это место к посещению. Кстати цены не намного выше чем в уличных кафе с пластиковыми столами и грязными скатертями...

having dinner in this place is an amazing experience. the food is delicious (a bit pricey but worth it) and the atmosphere very special. there are multiple different rooms and all of them are gorgeous.
our waiter Valdo was very nice and gave us great tips for our stay in Lisboa. would definitely recommend coming here.

Les qualités des lieux ainsi que les décors de leurs salons sont indiscutables un subtil mélange de romantisme et de pop art et quelques pointes de rococo...merite le déplacement.....Pour ma part je rajoute l'accueil et le professionnalisme du personnel au bar ainsi que l'accueil de la jeune femme qui nous a annoncé le temps qu'il nous restait pour consommer une boisson au bar(2 coupes de champagne ) avec un prix plus que convenable..... Très bonne adresse que j'espère revoir bientôt.....

Espaço magnifico, decoração soberba e com uma localização sem igual. Gostei muito do ambiente, das pinturas murais e do serviço rápido e profissional. Existem várias salas com menus diversos. No meu caso, o menu das tapas não me surpreendeu, achei-o normal e sem impacto. No entanto valeu pelo acolhimento e espaco em si que vale mesmo a pena.

The food was good, the service average, the ambience and decor could and should have been much better for such a historic hotel.
It was a live jazz night from 7-9 pm. Basically one guy playing very quiet elevator music on his saxophone and excluding his breaks he played a total of 45’.
I could have rated a 3,5-4 stars if it wasn’t for the loud and unnerving noise coming from their open kitchen. Everything in it was loud, especially the Chef who was yelling like a mad man. This noice was dominating the entire restaurant and obviously messed up out dinner.
We complained to the waiter and the manager but no one would dare to talk to the chef.
Instead, they brought us a small piece of paper to write down or complaint.
Bottom line it messed up our dinner.

Conheço o fabuloso espaço desde a abertura mas mudaram, agora é uma casa única, fechada, supostamente com uma recepção.
O conceito e o ambiente é snobe e arrogante, o que se reflecte na recepcionista pós-adolescente, que me abordou deselegantemente e cheia de tiques, já a meio da sala. Ao menos que estivesse no seu posto. Intolerável .

Place was beautiful and food was good.
However, I can’t remember when I’ve got so terribly slow and ignorant service in my life. Waiter gave us food menus without any drink list. Took orders and we had to separately ask drink menus. It took first hour to get starters and then second hour to get main course. While waiting for main course we asked the waiter if it’s coming; the waiter just laughed at us.
We finally got our food missing some dressing that arrived after we finished eating. We didn’t have time left for dessert. We asked for check. Waited 20 minutes to get it and then another 20 minutes so that we could pay it.
Definitely not a place to go. Sad cause the place really is wonderful looking and we all liked our food.

If you come, make sure to insist to get a table or seat at the bar upstairs, since downstairs you can’t see the beauty of the building and vibe is low.

I enjoyed a lunch at Chiado Palace... I selected it based on the previous reviews of google map (4.5 when I went there) I think it is a fair evaluation of this place. It does not have the wow effect that I found in other restaurants but the quality of the food is good throughout the meal. The service is very professional and the customer experience was likewise very good. The palace itself is lovely hence the ambience is great (and if you go towards the toilet take a moment to admire the internal staircase which on its own is lovely).

Mildly average. Shame - the reviews speak so highly about the service, ambience and food. Yet, on our overnight stay in Lisbon we decided to give it a try. The waiting staff ignored us for 10 mins as we arrived, I had to ask the bar staff if there was a host present. The service was SLOW waiting staff talking too much amongst themselves, and not paying enough attention to their customers. Ordered cocktails, which were good, the food was OK. Perhaps I ordered wrong? The rigatoni was so rich and could feed about 4 people, it definitely was not “cucina Italiana” more, average attempt at an Italian pasta dish. Disappointing. Advice - head to Bairro Alto and walk around, much better, authentic quality restaurants.

The place is visually stunning so we were initially impressed. That said we had issues with the service. Our cocktails took over 30 minutes and we actually got our wine for dinner way ahead of time. They blamed it on a new bartender and someone took over and got our drinks out. That said they were delicious when we eventually got them. The menu is extensive and there were many tasty options (including tons of gluten free). Food wise is excellent and the setting was beautiful. Service wise I would say it was strangely slow. Our server seemed to stand around alot waiting for something... It seems if you offer a huge cocktail menu, they should be able to make all of them in a reasonable time. To be fair, they offered us very nice port wine as an apology for the slow service. Overall it was a positive experience.

Very nice restaurant in beautiful setting. Large choice of food and wines. Our steaks and duck were excellent. Service is less impressive. First we had to wait 40 Minutes for our reserved table (without any gesture made by the restaurant). Second we had to wait for the wine until we nearly finished the entree. What a pity - if the service was better, this could be our favourite in Lisbon.

If there is an award for terrible attitude this place would be crowned as the reigning king forever. The host and waiters have snobbish attitude that is unwarranted. They supposedly have a "customer refreshing system" that sprinklers mist water but it's basically water dripping on you and your food and when we complained they just didn't care we tried to change the table to an empty one right next to ours but the "excuse" was that the waiter can't wait on it. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemies.

Excellent service. We had the lobster tacidos as a starter and it was delicious. The rest of the meal was as good. Only down note could be to much salt on the pork ribs.

Il faut y passer au moins une fois mais plus pour le cadre que la nourriture ! Les plats sont un peu chers et pas formidables. En revanche, les lieux sont magnifiques. Réserver ou y aller tôt.

We had a reservation that expired as we queued to get in. Subsequently had to wait for a table which wasn't in the main room depicted on their website. The fast service described by others was nowhere to be seen, 30 minutes before we could even order our drinks. Our waiter was far more interested in sniffing other table's wine or talking to other staff. He insisted on putting our bottle of wine beyond reach so that he could come and pour it for us, then disappeared so we were left with empty glasses. The food itself was good and we asked to see the desserts... 30 minutes later our waiter still had not even given us the menu while we sat without drinks. We cut our losses at that and went elsewhere. All together 3 hours for dinner with the majority being waiting time!

I am just finishing dinner here. The food was quite mediocre. I ate the lobster taquitos- pretty bland with too much of a mayo type sauce. Then the duck risotto - in my opinion too salty/rich. I would not recommend. There are better restos in Lisboa.

Very delicious food (very fast) perfect service, also very friendly. The best restaurant I've been to in Lisbon. It is advantageous to reserve a table there, as it is very often fully booked. So for those who want to enjoy good food, good service and a nice evening -> this is the perfect restaurant!

Meia hora de espera sem ser atendido. Vim embora sem disfrutar de uma refeição. Passaram por mim 10 empregados srm nunca olhar ou perguntar se já estava atendido. Empregados dd chouriço na mão a perguntarem uns aos outros que chouriço era aquelem. Empregados com fardas sujas. Talvez um dia mau, mas não volto tão cedo.

Ya solo el lugar es glamuroso y muy bonito. Tiene diferentes zonas de restaurante para reuniones en grupo o cenas en pareja. Además cuenta con una zona de bar enorme. Es un poco caro en relación cantidad precio, pero merece la pena para degustar platos fuera de lo común.

Really didn't enjoy our time here. Wait staff are very inattentive. Drinks took forever to come when we arrived. My partner ordered another glass of wine with our starter, didn't arrive until she's finished her main. Food was average at best. Very salty. Awkward seating arrangement meant people constantly crashing into the back of my seat. Would avoid this place.

I have already been there many times. This place never fails my expectation! It has a huge variety of options and the service quality is tremendous. The cocktail is unexpectedly good as well! Highly recommend!

An excellent meal in a fantastic setting.
We started with the interesting and modern take on a Lisbon classic “polvo a lagareira” which was served with beets and other pickles to cut through the (surprisingly) rich and buttery octopus.
I followed my starter with their magret de canard, a dish I last ate in Toulouse several years ago. Duck breast is hard to get right, and when I asked for it rare/bleu I was skeptical that they could deliver - however it turned out to be one of the best dishes I tried during my week long stay in Lisbon. My friends also took a ceviche (pictured) which was fresh, acidic and delicious.
Overall if you want a great meal in a truly wonderful and beautiful setting, you’d be hard pressed to find a better spot in the city.

Excelente atendimento e almoço. Muito atenciosos e pratos caprichados e decorados. Recomendo a opção menu do dia, 4 excelentes opções.
