I came to this barber shop because it was close to my house in Santos. I speak virtually no Portuguese, but I was able to get by on common sign language, pointing to a picture of my desired haircut on my phone, and sticking to easy phrases like "short here, long here". The barbershop is small, quaint, and had three chairs. Two barbers were working. A black gentleman from Cuba named Pedro cut my hair. I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but I was super surprised at how meticulous Pedro was. He took his time, despite going past their closing time by twenty minutes, and the cut ended up taking about 45-50 minutes total. I'm not lying when I say that it was literally one of the best haircuts of my life. I had a feeling it would be when he spent 15-20 minutes on each side of my head, pulling out clipper after clipper, just to ensure he achieved the perfect fade that I had requested. He is certainly a man of detail. I paid the 15 euro bill and left feeling like a million bucks. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Willian is awesome! He gave me exactly the haircut I requested, but also humoured me and let me speak in broken Portuguese with him. If you are ever in Lisbon, don’t hesitate to go here. They took me in as a walk-in and made me feel like it was my regular barber. I guess I’ll have to commute to Lisbon for my haircuts now.
