This is probably our favorite tapas restaurant in Lisbon so far and we thoroughly enjoyed every single dish that was recommended to us. We not only loved the service (our waitress was literally amazing!) , but the food is eclectic, multi-dimensional, and very well prepared. We had a good array of seafood, beef, and several vegetarian options, each having its own flavor profile and interesting texture. The food and wine is more than affordable for this part of town. Sr. Lisboa is a must try for anyone visiting Lisbon and should be on the top of any foodie's list.

Delicious food prepared by young chefs in a cute little restaurant. Plates are meant to be shared, get the octopus. Service was friendly but a bit scattered. Definitely would recommend.

Gorgeous food and waiting service. I think it is very nice, that they asked if we wanted to have the starters, many restaurants here bring them on the table without asking. Sweet interior decoration. Table reservation is a good idea to ensure you get there.

POESIA. Non c'è altro termine per definire quanto troverete da Sr.Lisboa. Trovarvi anche una sola nota stonata sarebbe una forzatura: dalla posizione centrale ma leggermente defilata alla dimensione intima del locale che ti accoglie senza fartici sentire costretto quanto le famose sardine locali, l'ambientazione rilassata e al contempo curata in ogni suo dettaglio (molti particolari ottenuti con materiali di riciclo, un bellissimo messaggio senza essere pesante) l'atmosfera soffusa ma non buia, la cortesia del servizio al tavolo di ragazzi giovani e palesemente appassionati che accompagnano ad ogni piatto un sorriso.
Che manca da dire? L'essenza stessa del locale: I PIATTI. Ognuno di essi è semplicemente speciale, non vale la pena dilungarsi oltre perché provarlo è l'unico modo per capire la magia che questi ragazzi portano in tavola ogni sera. Un lato negativo? L'invidia di non poterlo avere in Italia.

First night in Lisbon; best meal in Lisbon. Local, fresh and innovative menu. Warm and welcoming staff and environment. Best octopus, beef tenderloin and molten chocolate cake with spicy ginger ice cream. Delicious port to pair. Can not say enough about this gem. Make an email reservation and bring cash. Yes, yes to Sr. Lisboa!

the food is lovely, however a reservation is needed. The only problem was that the waiter poured us a glass of wine - we ask for ‘just white wine’ and she gave us a 150ml glass for 12€. we were shocked so be aware that they can kinda scam you with the wine price as they dont provide drinks menu without first asking and choose the most expensive one on the menu when ‘recommending’.

Ce lieu est atypique, charmant, caché. Sa cuisine est merveilleuse à la limite du gastronomique, ses vins portugais un nectar et tout ceci pour un tarif très abordable. Vous seriez bien bête de passer à côté. Seul revers de la médaille pensez à réserver car il y a du monde.

Un lugar bonito, el trato súper bueno y agradable. Tienen menú del día hasta las 3 bastante rico, además pedimos el ceviche, que tiene una crema de remolacha espectacular; el atún muy rico y con una mezcla muy rica de batata. Las patatas también ricas. Sólo se puede pagar en efectivo. Están abiertos y con la cocina funcionando todo el día, por lo que es un buen sitio para ir si estás haciendo turismo hasta tarde.

Locale piccolino di stile interessante, l'arredamento è di tipo moderno con materiale di recupero.
Il cibo è di ottimo livello, non il solito piatto tradizionale, ma ricette innovative e ricercate, con ingredienti freschi e genuini.
Abbinamenti così gustosi e azzeccati fanno di ciascun piatto (da condividere) un'esperienza unica.
La carta dei vini è di buon livello ed è possibile bersi un buon Porto di 20 anni.
Dessert unici!
3 piatti in condivisione + 1 contorno + 2 dolci + 2 calici di vino circa 70€.
Attenzione, si riempie subito anche se noi siamo andati con passeggino, domenica sera senza prenotare e non abbiamo avuto problemi. Altri dopo di noi hanno aspettato qualche decina di minuti.

We went here right when we arrived in Lisbon on the recommendation of our Airbnb host. The food was fresh, local and amazing. Easily some of the best food we had during our time in Lisbon. So good that we came back two days later for another dinner. The staff is very friendly and spoke great English. I recommend the pica pau (get extra bread because the sauce is delicious), the tuna and the shrimp.

Il s'agit du meilleur restaurant que nous ayons fait durant notre séjour ! Je ne peux que le recommander.
Le fait de partager permet de découvrir les différents plats qui sont vraiment supers. c'était un vrai plaisir (il vaut largement un bon restaurant français).
Par contre, effectivement il n'accepte pas les cartes bancaires mais un distributeur se trouve juste en face, donc il n'y a aucun problème.

We had the shrimp and the octopus for our main course and the deconstructed pastel de nata for dessert and all these dishes wowed me. They have vegetarian options as well, the restaurant is quaint and has a very warm vibe, the servers are friendly and informative. All the dishes can be shared. This was my first dinner in Lisboa so it set the standard for the rest of the trip.

Passei uma noite na frente e me chamou atenção pela decoração... Fui jantar ontem e superou minhas expectativas... Ambiente superaconchegante com detalhes muito charmosos... Equipe muito atenciosa e gentil e comida excelente... O conceito de pedir pratos para compartilhar é muito interessante... Uma releitura de pratos e ingredientes tradicionais muito saborosa... Jedyny plusik za ciekawy wystrój wnętrza.
To była nasza pierwsza kolacja w Lizbonie, liczyliśmy na romantyczny wieczór przy pysznej kolacji i winie. Niestety wybór lokalu nietrafiony. Jedzenie które zamówiliśmy było niedobre, może nie nasze smaki, może słaba kuchnia. Ja zostawiłam cała porcję. Wyszłam z restauracji głodna. Dobre były tylko ziemniaczki opiekane. Dania bardzo małe a cena bardzo wysoka.
Nie polecam jedzenia. Wino było dobre. Obsługa miła i pomocna, mówiła po angielsku.

Stumbled upon this place the night before New Year's Eve and it was easily one of the best meals we had in Portugal (possibly THE best). The octopus was excellent, as were the bacalao fritters. The staff were friendly and approachable, the ambiance cozy, and the food extremely memorable. I'll definitely be back!

Waaaaahouuuu!!! Merci à l'équipe. Tellement chaleureuse, tellement professionnelle et si sumpathique! Quant au décor, on est à la maison dans son salon et/ou sa cuisine cozy, ouverte. L'assiette un enchantement pour les papilles. Allez y! Retournez y !!! Ils sont bien cachés cherchez la pépite et surtout trouvez-la!
J'y ai passé un moment extra avec mon ado de 16 ans( si vous en avez, vous savez combien il peut s'avérer compliqué de les satisfaire)

Good atmosphere in a place that is trying to make the menu innovative with friendly staff that wants to be helpful in choosing wine and food. The results in both food and service were a bit uneven. The homemade bread with butters and oil dip was delicious. We liked the Szechuan shrimp a lot. The cod cakes with sauce were tasty and inventive. Unfortunately the ceviche and cauliflower were both bland and disappointing. The potato side was very oily. Hopefully these things can be tweaked because all have a good base to start with. From a service perspective, the pacing was a bit fast & furious at first and then slowed off a lot. For tapas a steady stream might be better. And it was odd that a key ingredient of one of our desserts had run out but the dessert was just served anyway without it...and it was up to us to point out that it was missing! All in all, we really want to give this place a great review - and hope that next time we can.

This restaurant amazed me and my friends with its food, service, and decor. All the food come with a “sharing concept” and they are perfect size to try between 2-3 people. We felt that the dishes are made with efforts and love. All the decoration of the restaurant is related to something homey. It was one of the best dining experience in Lisbon!

Nice small restaurant with friendly staff and great food. We just arrived in Lisbon and wanted to eat somewhere near our AirBNB, we had made no reservations, but they found a table for the 2 of us. Staff explained in good English that we needed to order a plate and then share the food.

Decent food. Terribly upset that these guys butchered our whole order, though. After they messed up the order, the blame game turned towards us and a misunderstanding. We were told that the waiters are told to confirm what orders are placed so there are no mistakes, etc. Actions speak louder than words as they didn't do their job. So we had two portions of the same dish... and they didn't try to make up for it in providing our requested dishes. So we paid for food we didn't want. Food is good but do not expect good service.

Fantastic food and great staff. One of our best meal in Lisbon, we stumble upon this cost restaurant. The staff was extremely nice and good and the food was amazing. I strongly suggest the octopus to share. I don't have pictures of the food as we were too fast to eat it :)

Ignore les réservations. Refuse la carte bancaire. Nous avions réservé 6 couverts par téléphone. Arrivés au restaurant on nous a dit qu'il n'y avait pas de réservation à notre nom. Nous avons dû attendre une heure pour avoir une table.

Not good for big groups. Went with a party of 15, the place is quite crammed with uncomfortable seating. Not many drink options, although the bar was very busy with just one bartender. The food tasted delicious, but did not justify the long wait times and extremely slow service. The cherry on top was their fruit platter. It was one pineapple chopped up, and took them 45 mins to serve!

Amazing food and experience. They serve small “to share” taps stile portions. Because we where 6 we probably ordered almost all the meenue and some items we reordered more than twice. The octupus , shrim and baclhau where stars, but other like pork where equally good.
They do have a smal wine selection but all wines are well selected.
The place is very small so you will have to book in advance. The Sevice is very good and because of the size of the restaurant you almost feel that you have a dedicated waiter.
One inconvenient is they don’t accept cards so make sure you have CASH with you.
The price is low for the quality of food and the service.

Les plats sont plutôt bons, le service rapide. Ça reste cher pour ce que c’est mais on paye le côté « branché » on imagine car dans la même rue nombreuses tavernes typiques moitié prix. Assez bruyant et surtout ils poussent en permanence à la consommation c’est fatiguant...les premiers prix de vin sont abordables même si élevés. Mais excellent vin rouge au final. Bien dans l’ensemble. Très touristique ;)

Our family ate here on our first night Lisbon. It was a fantastic experience. The awesome smell from the kitchen we encountered as we walked in pretty much foreshadowed the evening. Wonderful food/wine, great service and atmosphere. From start to finish the service was friendly, warm and inviting. We asked the server to please select his favorites from the menu and they were all excellent. We had our two teenage daughters with us. Kids loved the entire night as much as the parents. I wish we had gone back again rather than trying new places for dinner he rest of our stay in Lisbon!

Mi pareja y yo lo encontramos de casualidad y fue el mejor recuerdo culinario que nos llevamos de Lisboa, y me atrevería a decir que de todos los viajes que hemos hecho. Un trato exquisito de un camarero que nos explicó toda la carta en un muy buen castellano y siempre nos hablaba con una sonrisa en la boca. Comida excepcional cocinada con mucho cariño y de una calidad suprema.
Recomendación: pulpo, atún y arroz negro.
Pd: fuimos a comer y de lo satisfechos que quedamos, al pedir la cuenta, ya hicimos la reserva para la noche.

Surpreendente! Entramos meio que por acaso e morrendo de fome... fomos super bem recebidos e prontamente atendidos. Pedimos uma entrada de pão com requeijão, azeite, e pastinhas; Polvo com especiarias; Leitão no vapor e Ovos com cogumelos e bacon.. Adoramos tudo!! Muito sabor, texturas... acompanhados de vinho verde... maravilhoso. O preço de cada prato é em torno de 14 euros.

Amazing food, right in the centre of Lisbon. Everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious, fresh and incredibly tasty. The service was wonderful. The prices are spot on considering the quality of the meal. It's a small place so we couldn't get a table off the street, but they managed to accommodate us within the hour. I had a glass of Vinoverde to go with the food and was very happy with my choice. Strongly recommend this little Portuguese gem!

A comida é excelente, os funcionários super simpáticos e atenciosos, o ambiente muoto agradável. Entretanto ficamos estarrecidos com o fato de cobrarem 3.5€ por uma garrafa de água da torneira (filtrada). Fomos em 2, a conta deu 93€, sendo 10.5€ em água da torneira!!!!
Absurdo, inadmissível e feio da parte do proprietário querer levar tanto dinheiro às custas da água (da torneira).
Apesar de todos os pontos positivos, não mais voltaremos por questão de princípios. Achamos muito injusto cobrarem mais caro por água da torneira do que água mineral.

Amazing local restaurant in Lisbon, which I recommend everyone to try. I was one of the lucky ones who were able to get a table before it was totally booked. You will receive amazing customer service and you will get to have an amazing culinary experience. They have a tapas menu where you can try many dishes, which I highly recommend. The many local dishes tasted excellent I will definitely be coming back to eat here, when I return to Lisbon!

Great spot with local vibes only a few blocks away from the tourist area. They recommended 5 dishes for the 4 of us and that was perfect. The beef tenderloin with cheese was the most delicious and the cod volcano was the most unique. The cauliflower was the least impressive but still tasty. The waiters were really friendly and let us try a bunch of wines as well. Make sure to get a reservation since it was packed.

Restaurante com a comida maravilhosa e com um atedimento excepcional. Todos muito simpáticos, o João, por exemplo, é um gajo que nasceu para o que faz, trata os clientes com muito sorriso, educação e simpatia. Uma moça pequena, com braços tatuados (infelizmente não peguei o nome) é um outro exemplo de atendimento.
Comi um polvo ao chimichurri no primeiro dia e tive de voltar pra comer de novo. Deu vontade de levantar e bater palmas.
Parada obrigatória em Lisboa é visitar esse senhor!

Arrogant and rude. I was on my own and wanted a table at around 9pm. The restaurant was half empty and while they had reservations coming in they couldn’t manage a seat for 1?? The supervisor couldn’t even make eye contact....who cares how good their food may be....just full of their own importance. Don’t bother.

I was looking for an authentic Portuguese tapas bar and found this place based on the rating and reviews and I can tell you that this place is amazing. Food was delicious, staff is very friendly and place is cozy. It was Tuesday evening and all tables were occupied. It is not a big place so making a reservation is highly recommended. We had the codfish vulcano, pork with mushrooms, beetroots and some dessert, all were really delicious and more than enough for two. The red wine the waiter recommended was an excellent choice.

Location: Tucked away 1-2 streets over from Liberdade.
The place: It's small and very cozy, with wood floors, and cool decor, such as the table tops that are glass over stove burners. It's a little hipster but not a lot. Reserve ahead - the place really packs it in!
The goods: We started with the Caldo Verde soup (served with toast), then shared a dish with potatoes, sausage and mushrooms, as well as a ham board. I have nothing negative to say about any of that - everything was fresh and delicious. The only negative is that by the time our mains came, we were already stuffed! But oh well, we must make sacrifices for the good of the culinary world so we happily moved on to our next course. I had the sea bass ceviche with a side of coriander rice. The rice was out of this world, good. I was disappointed with the bass because sadly, it really lacked in flavour. My friend ordered the sandwich - I think it was pork... anyway, she adored it. Literally couldn't get enough, and the potato wedges with garlic mayo were outstanding! All in all, a great meal. Just wish I'd gone with the prawns.
Service: OK. I think our waitress was new so it tended to be a bit slow, but we get it - everyone has to start somewhere. The fellow who worked behind the bar helped out so everything was good overall.
Price point: Honestly, I don't remember. I ate out so much that the numbers are completely merged at this point. The only issue we had was that they don't take credit cards. The waitress said this was specified outside but we walked by the next day and we didn't see this mentioned on their menu so....
Great little spot if you want to get away from the tourists.

We had a great visit. Most of the restaurants we visited in Lisbon were not full, but Sr. Lisboa was the night we visited (we made a reservation over Facebook). It is small, but it has some nice energy and their creative dishes were quite delicious. The staff were great and they all seem to enjoy working together. Sr. Lisboa was on one of our top three restaurants during our nine-day stay in Lisbon.

I have to say, the good in Sr Lisbon is good- no doubt about that- but it is extremely expensive for what it is. The dishes are small (for the same price that you could get a satisfying amount elsewhere) and cost the same. All dishes are 12-15 euros but are literally 4 bites-worth. Sehr überteuertes Essen, unverhältnismäßig. Auf eine Weinempfehlung hin erhalten wir ungewollt einen sehr teuren Wein, der anscheinend schon länger stand und weg musste. Statt Filet Medium servierte man uns Filet, das so Englisch war, dass es vermutlich die Pfanne nicht einmal zu Gesicht bekommen hat. Beim Bezahlen werden wir dann praktisch noch um Trinkgeld gezwungen, da man uns das Wechselgeld erst garnicht mehr gebracht hat. Werden wir definitiv nicht mehr besuchen.

I give 2 stars cause the staff is well trained and knows the menu left to right. Food was a big letdown though. We have ordered 3 dishes to share:
1. Cod balls, good option but quantity ruins the whole experience. For 8 euros you get 2 bolinhos, at 4 euro a piece it should be a premium quality. It was good but nowhere near something excellent. For 8 euro I'd be expecting at least 4 pieces of that quality.
2. Crispy shrimps well seasoned, nicely paired with wasabi mayo.
3. Beef steak pieces in mustard sauce. This dish was a biggest letdown. Meat was not tender, pieces were uneven so beef ranged from medium to medium rare. Largest issue is with meat not being rested properly as myoglobin was pouring out of it as soon as you cut into it.
All in all, a one star food experience. Setting a price tag of 30+ euros for 3 appetizers is a mistake. I will not be returning.

This is probably our favorite tapas restaurant in Lisbon so far and we thoroughly enjoyed every single dish that was recommended to us. We not only loved the service (our waitress was literally amazing!) , but the food is eclectic, multi-dimensional, and very well prepared. We had a good array of seafood, beef, and several vegetarian options, each having its own flavor profile and interesting texture. The food and wine is more than affordable for this part of town. Sr. Lisboa is a must try for anyone visiting Lisbon and should be on the top of any foodie's list.

This restaurant is amazing! Some of the best food we have ever eaten. We went back 2 nights in a row it was so good. 0 faults! Amazing service even when it was rammed with people they took the time to discuss the food with us - they were really passionate about their dishes. Not such a nice experience for what Lisbon has to offer. We waited a while to be seated even though there was empty tables (this was a weekday lunch). For starters we had a frozen gazpacho, very nicely presented with a loaf of bread soaking up the liquid, but sadly it had too much garlic and vinager, we didn't manage to finish it, it was that strong. Then for the mains we had a very nice cod fish kind of croquettes which was tasty and ceviche which seemed more like a cold fish soup than a ceviche. Desert was really good, a deconstructed pastel de nata... The general feeling was that we should have gone somewhere else for lunch.

Fantastic meal with heart. Let's get the worst out of the way: they only accept cash. The octopus here is amazing. The tentacle was bigger than my wrist!!!! Their signature cocktail was also tasty (essentially a pisco sour with colliander). The bread basket, octopus, and beef were very flavorful and left no scraps behind despite generous portions. Pork loin was slightly bland but was the only outlier.

Las raciones para compartir no se pueden compartir, nunca viene más de dos trocitos de lo que sea. La atención lenta y desigual, no nos traían los platos a tiempo y venían mezclados. Pedimos una tabla de embutidos en la que venían 4 chorizos fritos, 4 morcillas y tres lonchas de jamón de sobre al módico precio de 15 e la tabla. 180e para comer 8 y quedarte con hambre. Es la primera vez que me pasa esto en Lisboa. No lo recomiendo.

Great tapas evening in a cozy atmosphere! Tight seating but everyone is friendly from the staff to the customers. Make a rezi, busy spot visited by tourists and locals! .... also have the daily cocktail. Had a gin and pineapple concoction that was spectacular after a warm day!

Une vraie surprise ! Le personnel est accueillant et disponible (traduction des plats en anglais), les plats sont juste succulents (découverte d un plat à base de poulpe un vrai delice). Nous conseillerons votre adresse à notre entourage, indispensable pour un passage à Lisbonne !!

Excellent food and great friendly service, and even better; not the pushy tourist service. Food and service is totally worth 5 stars, unfortunately you are presented the unpleasant ending when they tell you it is cash only. Seriously in 2018 :(

Sehr schönes Lokal. Klein und heimelig. Das Personal ist sehr nett und erklärt die Speisekarte in englisch. Wirklich ein Besuch wert. Die Preise sind ok.

Este pequeño restaurante en el centro me sorprendió gratamente. Se sirven raciones para compartir, es informal y original, tanto en su decoración como en sus platos. Buenos productos y cuidada presentación. Los postres deliciosos, alimentan todos los sentidos. La persona que nos atendió fue encantadora y profesional.

We were wandering looking for somewhere to eat and had a quick look at the menu and went on, what a find! The staff were friendly, welcoming, made recommendations when asked. Then the food, amazing, a wonderful cacophony of flavours, expertly fused! A modern take on some traditional Portuguese food and very well accomplished. I think we'll be back before the week is over!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant.. cozy and small place in the center city. I really like the decoration. staff was great and friendly. all the dishes was so delicious, the flavors are very special and surprising, simply a pleasure.

Walked in after failing to get a table at a well known restaurant down the road and had a table within 10 minutes. Lovely staff, and delicious food-lots of dishes to share, Portuguese tapas style. We would recommend.

Absolutely delicious! Our waitresses, Daniela & Anna were both charming, attentive and spoke English excellently. The food was well priced, perfectly prepared & plated beautifully. Great twist on Portuguese tapas! My family & I adored it so much we came back the next night.
The octopus with potatoes & garlic, mushroom soup, cod croquets, and pig cheek were some of our favorites.
Chef Pedro & host Francisco made us feel welcome & connected to the kitchen.
We highly recommend this place.

Inadmissible! We chose a wine at 4 euros the glass and the waiter suggest to us another wine that would be better with our food. As none of the wine price is above 5 euros on the menu we accepted. On the bill we found out that the price of the glass was 8 euros (unaware of that we took it twice)!

Adorei o menu de almoco do Sr Lisboa. É delicioso, muito bem confecionado, boas quantidades, so de pensar ate me faz crescer agua na boca.
A decoração é muito gira. Portas a fazerem de mesa ou tambores da maquina de lavar como candeeiros. Isto escrito parece estranho mas visualmente é maravilho ir descobrindo estes e outro pormenores.
A nivel de serviço nāo é o mais rapido mas são tod@s muito simpatic@s e atencios@s. Um local a repetir sem sombra de duvida.

Ce restaurant est un peu caché dans une petite rue et un peu à l’écart des quartiers touristiques, mais ca vaut le coup d’aller y faire un tour. Il y a une selection de tapas assez originaux a la carte. Ceux que nous avons gouté était très bon. Le plateau de fromage avait aussi des produits de grande qualité. Le restaurant est petit et il peut être difficile d’avoir une place aux heures de forte affluence.

A beautiful, cozy tapas spot in Lisbon. We celebrated a birthday here with friends and had some truly amazing dishes. The risotto and fish cakes were highlights for me. The restaurant is small and intimate, so try and book ahead if possible. The restaurant is also cash-only, so come prepared. A lovely romantic spot and we can't wait to visit again.

Très bon restaurant abordable avec de bons produits. Les croquettas de bacalhau valent vraiment le coup avec un accompagnement !
Pour deux en étant gourmands et sans prendre de vin, on s'en sort pour 30€ en ayant bien mangé. Service très agréable.
N'hésitez pas à réserver pour ne pas faire la queue qui se forme à partir de 20h30.
Quelques prix :
3€ les 0,4L de superbock.
Compter autour de 6-7€ en moyenne pour des tapas bien servies et très bien présentées.
Lieu très bien décoré.
Ils ne prennent pas la carte bleue mais distributeur en face du restaurant.

Great food and excellent service. The place is really cosy and has a kitchen theme. Theres gas stoves in the glass plated tables, lights with pans hanging from the ceiling, ladles as a wine rack. Great interior and atmosphere. We accidentally stumbled upon this place on our last day in Lisbon and it was definitely our favorite. We had the tenderloins, cuttlefish, fish croquettes and potatoes. To be honest, it was all really good. Great seasoning and homemade sauces. If I have to pick a favorite it would be the tenderloins, they literally melt in your mouth and are covered with a local soft cheese.
They also have a good selection of wines, we had the douro white and red. And both a white and red port as well. We finished off with the chocolate mouse and the port hazelnut bread.
If it wasn't for the fact that this was our last day, we would've definitely come back here again during our trip.
We had such a good time that we forgot to take pictures, I think that's always a good sign.

Cucina raffinatissima: la tradizione che si sposa con la contemporaneità. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo: eccellenza/ economia. Il locale è assai grazioso. I ragazzi che servono ai tavoli sono sempre gentili. Unica pecca: la sala è piccola.
