This was the best food we had during our whole Lisbon trip. We had amazing starters, wine and both fish and meat at a great price-quality ratio (the price was actually low for the excellent quality). Very nice staff, too, would always recommend the place!

Wir sind per Zufall in dieses Restaurant gekommen und waren sehr positiv überrascht. Wir bestellten 2 Hamburger nach Art des Hauses. Diese kamen reich dekoriert mit frischen Pommesfrites, Spiegelei, gemischtem Salat und Speck auf dem Burger. Der Burger selbst war einer der besten den ich je gegessen habe. Auch das Personal ist äusserst freundlich. Der Preis für das gebotene ist sehr moderat.

Went here on a food tour and enjoyed the olive oil and sardines they offered. Returned again and everything was excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and the food was delicious! If you‘re looking for a place to enjoy a lovely Portuguese meal, this is the place to go!

Une cuisine soignée inspirée des traditions culinaires portugaises. On regrettera seulement le goût immodéré du chef pour la crème de balsamique alors que son huile d'olive est délicieuse. Accueil chaleureux et agréable.

Great place to eat. The waitress was super nice. We ate the octupose and the duck, and the two dishes were delicious. Very recommended, wish we had more time to come back again

Two of us went there for lunch yesterday as we read all the good opinions about this place so we wanted to try it out and it was great! We had both chicken main course and it was fab! Chicken cooked to perfection with lovely cauliflower puree...Yummy! Not to mention presentation, it was WOW. For dessert we both had brownie and again it was fab! I would definately recommend this place!

Cuisine très originale et mettant en valeur les bons produits portugais. Tout est fait maison et présentés avec finesse. Une adresse qui se distingue dans ce quartier de l'alfama. A recommander sans modération ! Une mention spéciale pour le mi-cuit de thon et le poulpe : leur cuisson est maîtrisée à la perfection.

Nice affordable place in Lisboa. Food wise , it wasn’t the best we had in Lisbon. If you are in the area and hungry, go for it. Otherwise just skip it and try something else.

Simply superb. A travel companion and I came here in Nov 2019 as part of an Airbnb Alfama tasting tour. While at this stop on the tour we tried local delicacies such as Portuguese beer, local olive oil, rustic bread, cod cakes, and sardines. We came back that evening for dinner and enjoyed a delightful meal of red wine sangria, fondue and chorizo served in a bread bowl, pork tenderloin with risotto, and salmon with mashed potatoes, all of which were excellent. It is near a large street and is easily located, the presentation of the food was lovely, the service was excellent, and the price was quite reasonable. I would go here again!

We also came as part of a food tour and then went back for dinner. The carpaccio here was fantastic. Also really enjoyed the duck with orange risotto, can't wait to try making that at home.

I came here after a guide recommended it, it was nice, clean and a comfortable place to dine in except I got food poison from the tuna steak which I ordered, an hour later and had to rush to a building near by for the toilet, ended up canceling the evening wine tour because of the diarrhea. I have traveled all around Portugal as well as a regular in Lisbon this was the first time ever that I got food poison there, this was the only meal I had for that day and lastly 2 stars for the fast and great service, the tuna steak deserved 0. Updated: It took me awhile to write this review because I wanted to make sure that it was from the tuna dish, that morning I got up and used the toilet like every normal day nothing happened, I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel because I was already late for the morning tour which ended around 1:30pm I came to the restaurant by the tour guide’s recommendation I believed it was a little after 2:00pm the restaurant was empty except for a few people including me. From the last dinner I had the night before until I stopped by Manjerico Alegre on the next day after 2:00pm it was already 19,20 hours ago so if it wasn’t from Manjerico I would have gotten the diarrhea in the morning, I am talking about I had a very bad stomachache right after I left Manjerico shortly later, probably of the mango on top the tuna or whatever in that dish I don’t even know anymore it is unfortunate.

El local me llamó la atención aunque no es nada del otro mundo. En la misma puerta busqué los comentarios de otros G-Guides y me convencieron. Confirmo todas las buenas reseñas leídas. Vale la pena. Tal vez se pueda comer por menos pero unos pocos euros más te dan una gran diferencia en la calidad de los productos, de la preparación y de la presentación. Sin duda, 5 estrellas, cosa poco frecuente en mí.

Visited here on a food tour and had to return. Family run restaurant. The family also produces a very unique olive oil. The food and service were very good, although my tuna was closer to medium than the rare I ordered, but still quite tasty.

Laatste dag van 3 daagse stedentrip. Alle dagen perfect gegeten. 1e dag Solido, 2e dag Oficina do Duque en 3e dag hier. Alle 3 prima. Deze na stemmen onder de 4 gezinsleden iets op kop. De sirloin met witte truffelsaus super. Tonijn steak nog beter. Toetjes perfect. Iets buiten centrum maar het reisje waard. We mochten de 2 rosé's proeven om een keuze te maken. Wederom een topper zonder sla rechts en friet links. Dat kan best.....

Entre un patron et une équipe entièrement dévouée à satisfaire ses clients. Vous ajoutez des produits frais viande ou poisson ( je vous recommande les pasteis de bacalhau). Rapport qualité/prix très correct, dans un cadre très agréable au pied de l'alfama. Je recommande les yeux fermés!

The octopus ("polvo lagareiro") is a must in this place. The menu options (soup+ main dish+wine+ coffee or dessert) were really good and for a good price. The service was perfect.
