Halal Delicious food! Chicken Briyani(1 box enough for 2 person), Chicken Tikka masala (like curry) & naan really delicious and marvellous. Great taste! Please try and enjoy the meal!

Unpretentious, simply delicious pakistani halal food with excellent customer service accompanied by some Pakistani Coke Studio songs. Bliss! Both dishes we had we're perfectly done, chicken bhuna and aloo gobbi accompanied with nan. I've eaten many curries and this was very good. Highly recommended.

We had a great time last night , food was great , service is good ,daal,kadhai chicken and chicken tikka all good, As good as pakistan restaurant. I highly recommend food over donner kabab any day .all 3 dish plus while rice plus soda cost 20 euro It can't be better then that , Forgot to take pictures but good food if you are pakistan it has a taste to eat,

first you will need google map to find it , it's on on small back street. Yes they do put papadum without asking and chrage it, but in Lisbon it's common to put bread and charge it.for the taste of food it's good may be between 3 and 4 star. they mostly had chicken items and was told ghost items were not available that day. again Taste were good considering where am I. for owner change the way you charge papadum that will go long way.

Less portion, not clean, pathetic ambiamce, very average food. It's better to explore other options.

The food was tasteless. After reading the reviews we decided to try Taste of Pakistan. It was a regrettable decision on the last day of staying in Portugal. The Sheek kebab was falling a part, however the biryani was sub par. The restaurant was dirty including the menus. The staff member was lovely but even that did not make up for how poor the food was.

Best Helal food in town, fresh and served by the owner himself, don't want to miss it at my next stop in Lisabon.

Five star food with lovely chicken and Naan bread. Owner offered me free Nan bread. Fully Recommended. Taste like authentic food and I feel like a guest.

Very courteous staff, clean and organized. Customer service is excellent. Food was delicious and fresh. We ordered qeema, chappati and rice which tasted very authentic. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed in Portugal. Highly recommended. It's located in a small ally so use walking map and you will get there easily. Thanks to the owner who has maintained the standard so well.

Excellent halal food. Cheap and tastes authentic. We had aloo qeema with nan and daal on second visit. Both were delicious. Small restaurant, clean, hard to find even with google maps. Try to find 'taste of Panjab instead, and instead of going to taste of Panjab, take first left on the bottom of steps through small alley way. Restaurant is half way up the alley. We went in evening, and its safe.

Usually Pakistani food in Europe is a bland Indian copy that sweeten the dishes and hardly taste the same. This however, was warm & fresh, authentic spicy, absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Plus the desi chai after the meal was the winning combo. The restaurant is on a narrow street so many might miss it, however I would recommend it for people who prefer taste over decor.

Not easy to find the place in spite of using the google map. Anyway in the end it was worth all the effort. Nice and authentic Pakistani and northern Indian food at very reasonable price.

Warning: potential food poisoning! Facts: on August 25, 2019 my family and me had lunch at Taste of Pakistan. We ordered chicken tikka (the only dish that we partially shared), chicken tikka marsala, and a vegetarian dish. About 20-30 minutes later we all three started to feel sick and threw up 2-3 times. This and later when back in our appartment additional water-like diarrhea continued until deep in the night. I’ve truly traveled a lot in my life but I never ever experienced such severe and long lasting symptoms. Assumptions: when we placed our order the waiter came back after a few minutes stating that they cannot prepare the chicken tikka – likely (as already for all lamb dishes) they haven’t sufficient meat. Then he was called from the kitchen and it seems to be possible then. We speculate that they have found an older batch of chicken and used this to prepare our meals. As the chicken dishes have been served pretty hot (temperature) and the vomiting started that fast it is pretty likely that the toxins have already been produced in the meat before (e.g. the thermostable endotoxin from Staphylococcus aureus might be the responsible one). Conclusion: as according to Google many other guests still like this restaurant the poisoning might have been a rare event. And for sure it was not on purpose - the cook might have believed that boiling will kill all potential bacteria (what has worked) but he/she has not been aware of the possibility that some toxins do survive this temperature. So might it happen again? The chances are low but not zero in my opinion. BTW: The taste was good indeed though not special as the years before as we have been in this restaurant several times and are always looking forward to it when arriving in Lisbon. In a brief chat we learned that they have taken over half a year ago.

We ordered daal gosht and chicken tikkah masala.. both dishes were fresh & absolutely delicious..i would say finger licking good. Friendly staff. Would definitely visit again. Highly recommended!!

For me it's the best pakistanese/Indian restaurant in Lisbon. The keeper is just the most friendly person you could meet with, and the chef and his dishes are irrepressible, full of taste and colours. The place it's a little bit hide from the mainstream, but all the good places are.

O empregado é simpático, mas não gostei do prato principal que pedi (butter chicken). A carne não era feita no tandoor (como é costume deste prato), era carne cozida o que retirou praticamente todo o sabor ao prato. De resto estava tudo ok. Obs: o restaurante é halal, mas vende álcool :/

Great food But beware they charge for the papri they put on the table without you asking. That's a cheap trick we don't appreciate. The seehk kabobs are great as well as chicken jalfrezi. Better service would be appreciated as we ordered seconds and waited but the order never went through to the kitchen so that was a 40 min wasted. Also know that once you order, it takes a solid 30-35 min to get the food. Aside from that great place and food.
