La grigliata di pesce a 30€ x due super deludente adagiata su un letto di unto e salatissima e pesce non fresco. l'unica cosa mangiabile era l'orata. Il vino verde della casa non è male cmq pessima scelta come cena. Locale bello e con fado dal vivo. Meglio bersi qualcosa. Ma mangiare altrove.

The music is an amazing experience but be careful with the waitresses who always try to lie about the check. We had sangria for 13 euros and at the end in the check was saying 20 euros when in the menu the most expensive option was for 17 euros. So be really careful with the staff and the way they want to trick you.

Adorei!! Fizemos reserva no dia anterior e correu tudo muito bem. Um bom local, típico, genuíno, com bom ambiente (em que o fado preenche a casa), com muito boa comida e sem preços exorbitantes. Tenho a dar os parabéns à gerência!

절대. 네버. 충동적인 결정을 해선 안된다는걸 다시 느꼈습니다.
상그리아와 하몽+메론을 시켰습니다...
상그리아...정말 심합니다....맛이없어요.
글라스와인을 팩에 든 와인으로 따라주는걸 보고 여긴정말 아니다 싶었네요.
서빙하는 분도 정말...정말 불친절그자체입니다.
알파마에 파두 들을곳은 많습니다... 선택은 신중히ㅜㅜ

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. I got the mixed grilled fish dish, but all fish tasted similar. Even the salmon had the same 'flavor' as the rest of the fish. And when asking the 'bill' they, accidently?, added 5€ to the bill. I'm very sorry for the other restaurants in Lisbon who do deliver Good food.

PESSIMO !!! assolutamente da evitare..molto bello il locale e buona la zuppa...per il resto il peggior ristorante della mia vacanza a lisbona...il servizio mi ha sconvolto...ma mai come il piatto di affettati freddo e le patattine fritte al profumo di pesce o la carne servita con in uovo proveniente dal futuro ...tanto era fresco!!!
Ero a cena con mia moglie che dopo aver assaggiato i suoi piatti nn vedeva l ora di andare via...per fortuna pure suo ospite...60 euro buttati!!

Gostei do local, a comida estava muito boa e o fado fantástico. A simpatia do serviço pode melhorar um pouco. Não foram de todo desagradáveis, mas faltou um toque de amabilidade e simpatia. Recomendo por tudo o resto.

음식은 맛있었고, 공연은 너무 아름다웠다. 데스티네이션 호스텔의 파두 투어를 통해 간 곳이었는데 가이드 청년이 가는 길에 파두의 기원, 포르투갈의 역사에 대해서도 자세히 설명해줘서 단순히 파두만 보는 것보다 알차고 좋은 경험이었다. 음식은 스타터-메인-후식으로 구성되었고, 와인이나 맥주와 같은 음료도 제공되었다. 더욱 놀라운 건 이 모든게 29.4유로밖에 안한다는 점이다!

FUYEZ. 100% CHIASSE !!! Fromage moisi, le vin piquait, le pain était d’il y a plusieurs jours, le steak haché avait le goût de porc... Oui c’est possible ! Le patron était gêné, certains chanteurs aussi... pourquoi ? De prendre les clients pour des cons ? Une question me vient à l’esprit : comment fonctionne les services d’hygiène au Portugal ?

Great music but stale bread, cold fish cakes and dry cheese presented before we even ordered and charged us €22 - more than any of the dishes we actually ordered !!!!!

Our the first evening in Lisbon. We arrived quite late but still we wanted to explore for a bit and to stop somewhere for a drink. The music of the place totally attracted us! The live music in the old block streets. Bruno straight away invited us in. He is very polite and friendly person! Everyone should be lucky to be served by him!! ;) thank you very much for your help! The restaurant does local food and drinks. Very nice and cozy place for romantic evening. I hope to come back one day !!

You might like it if you don't know how real (=not for tourists) Portuguese food tastes and costs. If it's not the case (like me) you will be disappointed (and angry) to give too much money to this place where food is normal, wine is bad, service is not very nice, and they probably don't pay their taxes (no credit cards and they didn't offer us to get a "contribuinte" = invoice for Portuguese people). Fado is a nice experience but it doesn't worth it.

The dinner menu is great if you know what to order. We had a lamb stew and a seafood pot, they were delicious, the seafood pot was good enough for two already, savory sauce without over seasoning. We were told everything is cooked by only a woman chef. The host is friendly and fluent in English, he made us feel welcoming; the waiter had a poker face but really good at pouring drinks and gives you a wink sometimes. Fado music melted our hearts all night. Certainly the place to chill and be romantic for a night.

Punto di riferimento per una serata di Fado sia che vogliate cenare o solo bere qualcosa. Attenzione però che siamo nell'Alfama, quartiere storico di Lisbona, quindi locali con spazi stretti ai limiti della praticabilità soprattutto se volete mangiare. Possibilità anche di stare fuori ma se volete godervi la musica e il canto consiglio l'interno. Buoni i piatti.

Buscando un sitio donde cenar, y callejeando (que es como mejor se conoce Lisboa), nos encontramos con este restaurante. Modesto y que apuesta por el fado, más que por otra cosa. La comida no es exquisita, pero el arroz caldoso con marisco es abundante (aunque le sobran los palitos de cangrejo, pero mucho), el pulpo y el pescado es aceptable. Si hace calor es preferible la terraza por la noche.

Здесь можно послушать бесплатно Fado. Порции большие, но на гарнир почти во всех блюдах картошка фри. Возникли проблемы с оплатой по карте - персонал просто не хотел доставать терминал. Про вкусовую сторону блюд не могу сказать ничего определенного - ни хорошего, ни плохого. Гастрономического восторга здесь не будет

Demasiado caro para la calidad de la comida. El arroz con marisco, solo tenia algun langostino perdido y el ingrediente estrella, palitos de surimi. El bacalao a la nata, no estaba mal pero demasiado reseco debido al exceso de pan rallado espolvoreado.
Los fados estuvieron bien, pero no justifican el precio final de la comida.
El restaurante tenia su encanto bohemio, muy propio del barrio en el que se ubica, pero le haria una buena falta unas obras de reacondicionamiento y limpieza.
Sin duda hay mejores ofertas relación calidad/precio por el mismo barrio y alrededores.

Very expensive.
Very poor food quality.
Card payments are not allowed, so I had to be guarded by a waiter to the nearest cash machine (which is like 0,5 stairs km far from the restaurant) while my partner was escorted in the table.
Awful experience. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Ponemos una estrella, porque no es posible poner menos. Se merecen un cero. Turistico con los fadistas. Pero la comida no se podia comer. La ensalada de marisco, con el marisco de lata y de hacía dias . Todo muy caro 3€ un agua y 3€ una caña/media pinta. Nos quisimos llevar la comida y pretendieron cobrarnos 2€ por la cajita del envoltorio de plastico. No. Me habia pasado en ningun lugar del mundo. CUTRES Los camareros lentos y malcarados . Ademas ni factura, ni tiquet..,todo en dinero negro. No aceptan tarjetas de credito.
Un consejo: HUYE!! Hay muchos sitios q ofrecen comida de calidad, trato amabe y fados en directo. Venimos desde Barcelona

Un conseil: FUYEZ. C'est un petit piège à touristes qui cache bien son jeu; on est attirés par les chanteurs de fado et par la petite placette mignonne. Une fois à table, c'est la déception. Commande d'une entrée à 13e pour 6 malheureuses crevettes à l'ail, même pas savoureuses. Le plat au bacalhau; nous en avons mangé à peine 1/3... Au final, on en sort ecoeurés et avec une note salée ! C'est ce qu'on appelle un joli foutage de gueule dans les règles de l'art.

Had ham and cheese toast sandwich for lunch here. It did not taste good. Both the toast and fries were not crispy and tasteless. Service was slow and I spent over an hour here. The interior looks quite nice and also has outdoor seating. That’s why I give 2 stars.

Netter Fado mit 4 unterschiedlichen Sängerinnen und Sängern.
Den Rest lässt man besser weg.
Unfreundliche Bedienung, die einen mit den Vorspeisen und dem Wein austricksen will.
Das Essen war das schlechteste, das wir bisher in Portugal hatten.
Zähes Fleisch, ein absolut NICHT frischer Fisch und an all dem KEIN Geschmack.
Die Rechnung ist dafür anschließend umso erstaunlicher.

Should have read up on the place before sitting down. A lot of food on the fish and seafood plate but most of it horribly prepared. Ate 1/3 and felt sorry for the waiter who had to be apolegetic for serving the s**t. Guess they survive on tourists passing by as don't see how they could have repeat visits.

Le hubiera dado un cinco pero nos engañaron con el vino
Pedimos un vino verde que habitualmente no pasa de unos 12€ y nos colocaron un albariño de 27 € sin avisar
La cocina es buena,son amables y el sitio es agradable,pero lo del vino me pareció un atraco y le di un sermón al dueño de cómo no perder primeras visitas pq eso es pan para hoy y hambre para mañana.

Lamentablemente comparto la opinión de muchos clientes. Tuvimos que entrar porque al bar que íbamos estaba cerrado( descanso) ya era un poco tarde y decidimos entrar. El sitio pequeño y apretado. La comida de lo más normal y la sorpresa fue cuando nos querían cobrar 15€ por dos ginja ( típico licor de Lisboa). Al comentarle que era un engaño rápidamente bajaron el precio a 10€. El precio normal que cobraban en los restaurantes era entre 2,50 y 4 €.

La comida y la atención no es muy buena, pero si quieres escuchar fado mientras cenas está muy bien o sólo tomas un vino (esto último es lo que recomiendo). Puedes comprar los cd's dedicados por los fadistas si te han gustado. La bebida y la comida es un poco más cara que en otros sitios, pero hay que tener en cuenta que la cuenta incluye la música en directo.

Muy bueno para escuchar fados. La atención no es igual. No admiten pagos con tarjeta, en mi caso me cogio por sorpresa.
Pregunten primero por precios de bebidas. Comida precio normal.
En mi caso pedí queso y estaba con pelos, no dije nada al camarero y pelusa, pero supongo que puede ser normal en ciertos caso.
Tienen terraza para epoca de verano. En alguna de sus mesas hay vistas al rio.

Experiencia negativa.
En una noche de SANTOS POPULARES, creyendo haber elegido bien en un espacio agradable y conencanto, comprobamos q fue un error por su lento servicio (hay que esperar que actuen fadistas para poder pedir entre plato y plato), poco cuidado menú y falta de atención al cliente. Sólo tienen bueno el lugar donde se situa y la actuación de los fadistas a los que les dedico un gran aplauso.
Hacen honor al nombre del restaurante, están......FUERA DE MODA.
No volveremos.

Worst food a had in the last year. Expensive as well with the waiter forcing us to pay €12 for 6 codfish cakes, some cheese and €2 for bread which we assumed was on the house. After complaining we paid €6 for the starters. The fado was really nice.

Tried to charge me 12 euros for a started that I never ordered and that I had assumed it must be on the house. Other guests were explicitly told that the starter is free. I'd didn't have to pay it in the end.

Why somebody would take great place in hart of Lisbon, put greate FADO musicians and then not take an effort to prepare at least descend food?!? Specially in the era of connected world?!? I was like to have friendly “never-met-them-before” people, who stoped me from ordering a dinner. Actually when I put the order they whispered to me that they had uncooked, cold and smelly food.
Take a good care about:
- lady in front of restaurant who promises a good food amd etc.
- “free” plate of cheese and smoked meet. It is not free and costs 12€ (6€ for each- cheese and hams) plus 2€ for bread.
- “bed english” where waiters don’t understand you and do the things in their favor (I stopped order and after 20 min they brought to me the same thing. Also I ordered “the same starter” and got two tapas for 15€ each!!).
BUT, two stars goes for: really good fado and nice house wine...
We maid our date nice by ordering one more plate of cheese and ham and enjoying fado.

Kleines stilvolles Restaurant in der Altstadt. Preise sind moderat und Abends wird hier der Fado dargebracht. Als wir dort waren, sangen eine Frau und ein Mann. Es war sehr schön authentisch und eine gute, warme Stimmung. Preise nicht überhöht und für die Kunst muss nicht extra gezahlt werden. Wenn Sie den Fado kennenlernen wollen, ist dies der richtige Ort dafür. Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir werden wieder kommen. Danke für den schönen Abend.

Un des pires restaurant de Lisbonne. Nous avons été malade le lendemain cloués au lit. Service nul et pas aimable. Bref sur un week-end de 4 jours un de perdu à cause de ce restaurant. A FUIR !!!

Restaurant liegt in der Nähe eines schönen Aussichtpunktes.
Abends werden Passanten von einem Mitarbeiter in das Restaurant gelockt. Da ich am ersten Abend nicht weit laufen wollte (ich wohnte direkt gegenüber) habe ich mir bereden lassen und habe dem Laden eine Chance gegeben.
Positiv könnte man sagen, urig. Ich fand alles ein wenig lieblos altbacken. die Stühle waren sehr unbequem und der Platz war sehr beengt.
Bestellt habe ich einen Oktopus. Dieser war komplett versandet. Die Beschwerde konnte oder wollte zunächst keiner verstehen, aber Dank der Google Übersetzer APP, blieb kein Ausweg, sich der Sache zu stellen.
Das Gericht wurde zurück genommen. Da ich keinen Hunger, bzw. keine Lust mehr hatte dort zu essen, ging auch der nicht ganz so tolle Wein auf Kosten des Hauses.

Estávamos em um Domingo passeando pelas vielas e passamos na frente onde um garçom muito atencioso fez a reserva para o fado a noite. Simplesmente adoramos, comida boa, fado lidíssimo e inclusive fizeram um homenagem ao Brasil tocando um musica brasileira. Muito atenciosos. Voltarei em Julho de 2018 e novamente iremos ouvir o Fado do Fora de Moda.

Terrible food!!!!
Extermely overpriced compared to food quality.They use Fado as a trap for tourists. We've ordered two plates: mixed grilled meat and mixed grilled fish. Both dishes we're relatively big but served cold! The fish smelled really bad, meat tasted like a truck tire.

Very disappointed. Looked good at first. Sat outside for drinks and a light bite. Toasty machine not working. Asked for fruit and were charged twice. No large bottles of water and paid €8 for 4 small bottles. Galao coffee made with UHT milk, and tea from Aro/Macro was terrible. Overpriced and not good. Avoid.

We came for Fado, not food, and the Fado was good. We ordered bread, cheese, and sausage from the entrées menu, three soft drinks and a ginjinha (unique Portuguese alcoholic beverage) and the total was a very reasonable 26€.

Nul . La carte pas explicite les vins de la piquette avec une belle étiquette les plats froids ou trop cuits les chants de fado une fois la terrasse remplie sont finis et à l'intérieur pas un client bref nous nous sommes fait avoir comme des bleus , le quartier à touristes par excellence même si de beaux lieux et points de vues.

2 étoiles pour le fado uniquement car pour le reste c'est un gros raté. Arrivés à 22h15 et servis à 23h40... ça n'incite déjà pas à la bonne humeur. Le tout pour des plats plus que moyens, poulet trop cuit, frites pas assez et lasagnes indigestes. Pas un mot d'excuse pour rattraper le tout mais plutôt une mauvaise foii effrayante lorsque on nous a garantis qu'on n'avait attendus que 15 minutes... c'est sûrement le décalage horaire !
Bref, la pire soirée resto à Lisbonne

Locale pessimo da evitare assolutamente. Non ha nulla di portoghese (tantomeno i gestori), metà delle cose del menù non c'erano, ho speso per una semplice insalata di pollo 10€, un furto.

Disappointed with the final check. Waiter brought bread&cheese&ham without our ordering it (he said it was part of our large pitcher of Sangria) so we thought it was complementary with our drinks&other appetizers (like botanas are free in Mexico). When the check came, we learned otherwise. 16 euros I hadn't expected to spend--in addition to the meal. Shame on them. Despite this, the porch in the shade made for nice afternoon and the food was good.

Chicken was dry, Service terrible. A lot of that around here. More expensive than other restaurants nearby. Guitarist turned off our light as we were about to eat but didn't bother tuning up!

I've should have know better but we were hungry and just wanted to have a light lunch.
This is obviously a tourist trap.
Bad Bacalhau à Brás, bad Bacalhau com Natas, only the Ovos com Farinheira was acceptable.
Asked for Tap Water, they didn't serve it obviously because a small water costs 2 euros there.
Btw, small beer 3,5 euros?!?!?!?!
In the end i was accused by the waiter of trying to get my food faster than other people only because i complained it was taking ages.
Also the waiter was very rude when i asked information about the bill.

It certainly filled the bill lunchtime. While I wouldn't spend time searching for it, it is quite adequate if you come across it in Alfama. The church provides welcome shade!

Fado music was great, unfortunately the food is a bit hit and miss. Shared the mixed seafood platter and much of it was overcooked. If they can sort the food out it would be 5 stars.

O verdadeiro engano aos turistas. Comida tradicional portuguesa?!
Começamos pela ementa que foi nitidamente traduzida pelo Google Translate, sim, o restaurante é gerido muito provavelmente por paquistaneses, indianos, malta do Bangladesh ou querer fazer-se passar por portugueses na arte de bem servir tipicamente. Vinho de pacote servido em copo de balão (daqueles da moda do gin, deu para rir), batata frita congelada e quando toca a hora do fado "oh meus amigos queremos lá saber que estejam às escuras e que manchem a roupa enquanto comem". Obrigada, mas não mais obrigada. Apeteceu-me agarrar nos turistas e levá-los ao colo para fora dali, para conhecer um tasco como deve ser.

Excelente restaurante para conhecer um pouco da cultura musical e gastronómica de Lisboa. Tem fados ao vivo todos os dias, comida muito boa, preços razoáveis e um atendimento caloroso e eficiente. Recomendo vivamente.

We went by the sound of fado singing in the early evening and found this place. While the fado was good, the food was mediocre and the price rather high for that quality. We had the mixed grilled meats and a rather boring salada mista. The sangria was strong and on the sweet side and the service OK.

It was a total scam. We arrived at about 1pm and they were still cleaning and getting ready. We asked for a cheese board (15€) and it was so small, it was supposed to be enough for 3 people, but it wasn't. The place is definitely overpriced for Portugal. The other thing was the beer, they charged 5€ each to my husband when the price was 2€ each. I really don't know what happened? Thought Alfama would be more friendly.

de zangers doen het goed en met overtuiging, de bazin is enthousiast, maar de bediening is minder en het eten was eerder teleurstellend. Een vriendelijk opmerking over eten dat werkelijk nog koud was binnenin, deed de bediening vertragen. Jammer, want de locatie is echt fijn en de muziek ook. De Cd-verkoop is wat opdringerig...

Great place to stop by for drinks and Fado. Sets are broken up by ~20 minute breaks and include 3 different singers (all of whom were excellent). The music starts around 2130 and continues on into the night.
