A pesar de estar en una zona muy turística comimos bien y sin pagar demasiado.
Local bonito, camarera muy amable, y comimos bien, sobretodo nos gustó mucho el risotto de bacalao. Una pequeña pega fue el pan: no era fresco, pero a parte de eso, muy buena experiencia.

Little place with not a lot of tables. It can get very crowded, as it seems like it's a go to place. The service is not the best when the restaurant is full, so waiting for the check can take a while. We ate the salmon, and it was so tasty! It was what really saved the experience.

Entre alguma má educação e comida estragada e requentada a preço elevado, ficou claro que não é o melhor sitio para recomendar.

Another bust thanks to Google Maps reviews. The food is decent but nothing to rave about. I especially don't understand the praise for the beef cheeks. In general everything was overly salty and nothing really blew me away. It's decent food but nothing out of the ordinary.

I am in Lisbon every year and love this place for its authentic food, the wonderful and kind service, the cozy ambience and everything else. It's a small restaurant, so better make your reservations. sympathise avec la clientèle créant une ambiance chaleureuse. Endroit tranquille, loin de l'axe des restos populaires.

Buena comida en el centro de lisboa sin ser el típico sitio cazaturistas. Hablan perfectamente en ingles y en castellano. Tomamos bacalao y un risotto y ambos estaban ricos. Al final nos invitaron a un chupito

De "taberna" Portuguesa tem pouco.
Têm a comida e petiscos certos e bem confeccionados, com preço um bocado alto, não muito, mas na zona já esperava - só que depois estragam tudo do lado do serviço, que na minha experiência foi um serviço péssimo.
Têm muita dificuldade em esboçar um sorriso que seja.
Fazem os clientes sentir que estão a mais.
Tive de repetir o pedido várias vezes para entenderem coisas que estavam na carta.
Infelizmente NÃO FOI um local simpático para ir passar um tempo descontraído.

Atendimento péssimo. A empregada de mesa que nos calhou não sabia falar português e entendia com muita dificuldade o que dizíamos e para melhorar estava sempre com cara de poucos amigos. No fim, quase fomos corridos, porque o restaurante fecha às 22:30h e às 21:40h nós, um grupo de 4 pessoas, eramos os últimos na casa e essa mesma empregada de mesa estava constantemente a tentar levantar os pratos, sendo que ainda não tínhamos acabado de comer. Os pratos são caros, a morcela péssima, os pratos com sabor a mais do mesmo. É mais um novo e medíocre restaurante de cozinha portuguesa no centro de Lisboa, feito para turistas e que prefere não ter portugueses à mesa. **

Très déçu par ce restaurant,
Un "hamburger" qui au final n'est qu'un simple steack avec ses frites surgelées et sa salade en sachet
Une salade de "gambas" qui ne sont que de simples crevettes surgelées
Un risotto, ou plutôt une soupe de pâtes, difficilement terminable
Pour finir une daurade grillée bien trop salée avec ses "patates sautées" sans sauce ni saveurs et des légumes beaucoup trop salés et croyez moi il faut vraiment mettre une très forte dose de sel pour que je le reconnaisse
Pour résumer une nourriture qualifiable de "bouffe de cantine"

Sommes allés dans ce restaurant ce soir:
La carte extérieur présente des plats qui n’existent pas d’après la serveuse.
La serveuse sert en regardant un jeu télévisé, télé qui se trouve au plafond de la salle et qui tourne avec le son...
Les plats pas terrible: des tapas de poulet où il y’a 90% d’os, un plats de grillades trop cuites et viandes dures et sans goût, de la morue limite mangeable car trop salée, des légumes en accompagnement qui n’ont aucun goût...
Nous ne comprenons pas ces avis positif sur internet. Car même le prix n’est pas intéressant ...

Très bon petit resto, nous y sommes allé 2 fois pendant notre séjours, nous n'avons pas été déçu, le risotto au gambas est excellent ainsi que les sardines. Pour terminer une petite poire poché au moscatel histoire de finir sur une petite note sucres.

Excellent restaurant. On y mange très bien, les plats sont copieux et les prix sont très abordables. Le personnel est très souriant et accueillant. C'est l'un des rares restaurants à Lisbonne où on ne vous impose pas le pain et des olives (que l'on vous fait payer en supplément). Je recommande vivement ce restaurant !

Questo ristorante è stato consigliato dal l’hotel. Pensando fosse turistico siamo rimasti invece sorpresi ci fossero anche commensali locali. Buona cucina. Nell’ambiente. Piatti copiosi è ben curati. Prezzi medi ma buon cibo. Ottima cantina.

We came here for lunch and had the set menu. It was absolutely heavenly, reasonably priced and paired with great wine. We had the black pork as well as the codfish cakes with bean rice. We came back again for dinner, this time trying the grilled sardines as well as the entree platter. Also impeccably good. They kindly swapped one of the dishes when we said we did not eat liver. Definitely recommend.

Dit is een lastige om te reviewen. Het is een klein gezellig restaurantje met een aantal tafels beneden en een paar tafels op de mezzanine. De ontvangst was vriendelijk. We kregen een tafel boven wat eigenlijk een goede optie was. Je zit er rustig met een goed overzicht én tussen de vele wijnen die ze aanbieden.
Ons gezelschap bestond uit drie bevriende koppels en we namen een aantal verschillende gerechten.
Er kwam brood op tafel, maar sommige stukken waren écht gewoon te hard om te eten. Ook het tapas menu en de soep konden ons niet echt bekoren. Het miste allemaal smaak en verfijning.
Nochtans werd dit restaurant ons aanbevolen door het hotel en was ook de score op TripAdvisor best mooi. Bang afwachten voor het vervolg.
Dat was gelukkig wél goed. De sardines waren heel lekker (maar niet gekuisd), de varkenswangen super zacht en de backelau met nata bleek een schot in de roos.
Ook ons dessert: rijstpudding en appel crumble met Porto, was voortreffelijk.
We sloten de avond nog af met een Amarguingha zoals ze hem alleen in Portugal serveren...
Al bij al een goede keuze!

City trip Lisboa. Met een aantal vrienden zijn we op bezoek in Lissabon en ons hotel gaf het advies om in deze gelegenheid het avondmaal te gaan gebruiken.
Dit typisch Portugees Restaurant had nog net 6 plaatsen vrij dank zij de melding dat we gestuurd waren vanuit ons hotel. Het restaurant is niet erg groot en we kregen een plaats op het eerste verdiep. Ik moet toegeven dat het een knusse plaats was en we zaten daar rustig. Het voorgerechtje was niet bijzonder en we hadden de indruk dat we verkeerd gekozen hadden. Toen we de hoofdschotel kregen werden we aangenaam verrast met diverse lekkere gerechten. Mijn man had de sardines, ik had varkenswangen en anderen hadden vis genomen. Iedereen was eensgezind blij met deze lekkernijen.
Het dessert was ook geslaagd. Na de koffie dronken we nog een slaapmutsje met name Amarghina, een typisch Portugese soort amandel drank die iedereen kon smaken. Al mee al toch een geslaagd etentje en de prijs viel ook mee. Nog even melden dat de bediening heel gedistingeerd en correct verlopen was. Een aanrader maar zeker reserveren wil je plaats hebben.

Locale molto carino a un passo da Rua Augusta,nel pieno centro di Lisbona. I sapori sono un pò forti rispetto a quelli a cui siamo abituati, servizio molto cortese e simpatico. Abbiamo provato il baccalà alla griglia, servito su letto di spinaci. L'aglio l'ha fatta da padrona, sapori forti,piatto abbondante. Nota di merito per la cheesecake fatta in casa.

Atmosphere: Small but quaint and warm. May need to reserve, but we went on Friday night in October, around 8pm and easily found a table.
Food: Wild Mushroom Risotto wasn't amazing but I still enjoyed. Could have been cooked a little longer I think. Also tried the grilled salmon which was good too.
Service: Friendly but did take time to get the bill. It had gotten full by the time we finished, so perhaps that's why.
Overall a decent choice of restaurant.

I see the owner has responded. Thank you. I have investigated further. There are no opening times on the restaurant website, but it links directly to Google for reviews. On Google Maps, where these reviews are, the opening times for Saturday are listed as 1200-2230. Since the owner gives Google legitimacy by directly linking to it, and it is the only source of information, they have a responsibility to their customers to keep it accurate. Randomly claiming other opening times is not acceptable. The one star review is therefore upheld.

This is a great restaurant if you don’t want to get stuck in one of the tourist trap places around Rua Augusta and Rossio. The food is delicious, I’ve had the cod, mushroom risotto, and mixed meat platter. Very reasonable prices and lovely staff, who gave us a shot of ginjinha on the house at the end :)

Je vous recommande ce restaurant sans hésiter !
L'accueil y est chaleureux et sincère. On se sent immédiatement à l'aise dans ce bel endroit.
Les vins y sont excellents : la sélection est variée et riche (et pour toutes les budgets).
Les plats sont typiquement portugais, et absolument Succulents. Il n'y a pas mieux pour manger local et pour déguster des mets de bonne qualité.
Enfin, cerise sur le gâteau, les prix sont très abordables.
Nous avons donc passé une excellente et appétissante soirée.

Einfach eine Runde Sache... Sind wie immer per Zufall hier gelandet und erstmal für 2 Stunden versackt. Das große frisch gezapfte Bier 0.6 für 4 Euro super.. Das Überraschungsmenü für 12.5 Euro drei Gängig sehr gut. Konnten das Fleisch wählen. Meine Frau wählt Lamm, das geschmort an den Tisch kam.. Mega super. Ich wählte das Schwein, dass an einer reduzierten Rotwein soße angericht an den Tisch kam. Beides einfach ein Gedicht! Danach eine Riesen Auswahl an mehreren Nachspeisen... Käsekuchen auch gut

The food was really good and we got valuable advice on which Porto wine to order and how to drink it. Very friendly English speaking service.
But most importantly - the restaurant owner was very honest. There was a banking system glitch, which resulted in my account being charged two times for 107 euros, instead of one time. Even though my bank did not recognize my complaint, the restaurant owners, notified about the situation by e-mail, returned the second, erroneous payment to my account. Thank you very much for your honesty!

분위기 좋고 직원들은 친절합니다. 식사내내 괜찮은지 필요한것은 없는지 물어봐 주고 신경써주고요. 돼지고기 볼살 요리 추천해줘서 먹었는데 부드럽고 맛있어요. 소금 빼달라고 안했는데 좀 짰어요. 짠건 빼달라고 하셔되 될것 같습니다. 가격 나쁘지 않고 옆테이블에서 먹는 생선 맛있어 보여서 한마리만 주문 가능하냐고 했는데 서비스로 주셨습니다. 다음에 다른 메뉴 먹으러 방문 해보고 싶습니다.

Good food. Great flavor and service. I ordered the shrimp pasta, it was really good and the portion size was generous. House wine was decent. Also had the cheese and sausages mixed platter which had pretty good variety. Service was good, language can be a bit of a barrier but not a problem in the end.

Came here absolutely famished from a full day of visiting Sintra. Close to the city center. The food was good, varied selection, not very expensive (around 12-16€ for a main course). Large pint of beer 4€, good selection of wines.
Also very nice and attentive staff. Reservations after 19.00 might be needed, as it got crowded fast.

Ótima atendimento e comida deliciosa, pedi a picanha que acompanhava salada e essas batadas salteadas incríveis! Recomendo muito experimentar as batatas.
Imaginava que fosse uma porção muito menor, está perfeito para uma pessoa. Antes do prato principal veio alguns pães e azeitonas de um sabor único, muito bom!

Great food, good variety of different starters, mains, sides and deserts. I can very much recommend the traditional Portuguese green soup as a starter. Very tasty. Great wine selection and friendly staff. Probably best to reserve a table, if you want to come here for dinner.

Really good food, reasonably priced, friendly service. Plenty traditional Portuguese food: cod, pork, cheese etc. Went twice while on holiday in Lisbon. Nice to get a ginjinha or port wine for free after your meal.

en voulant nous éloigner des restaurants à touristes, nous avons découvert la taberna de Baixa...
nous avons été charmés par l'accueil très sympathique du personnel, les bons conseils sur les plats...
tout a été parfait, la qualité des assiettes, le sourire, la gentillesse des serveurs, et même l'addition qui est plus que raisonnable.
nous avons passé un si bon moment, que nous y sommes retournés le lendemain pour goûter d’autres saveurs...

Piccolo ristorante (max 30 coperti) con cucina tipica portoghese: e quando parliamo di cucina tipica bisogna sottintendere aglio e cipolla a volontà.
Tavoli molto vicini, personale (1 cameriere anziano) cordiale ma forse un po' lento, menù "tranquillo" e prezzi nella norma portoghese che ormai è molto vicina a quella europea.
Ottime le sardine alla brace (presumo non pulite) e veramente buono un tagliere di formaggi molto vario (11.50 euro).
Un po' di fantasia non guasterebbe alla richiesta di una insalata come piatto principale: due foglie di insalata e 6 fettine di pomodoro non bastano.
Ginja offerta (dopo il pagamento del conto) ma per nulla alcolica.
Comunque essendo lontano dalla via del passeggio è meno turistico di altri ristoranti.

I had a great time in this little joint, fantastic tabuas (Portuguese Tapas) with great Douro Vinho Tinto (Douro Red wine). Rather than chosing I asked the waitress what her suggestion was, and she brought me some fantastic presunto , Queijo. Sardinhas and veggies. I had a great dinner for about 28 Euros.

Ottimo. Piatti semplici con ingredienti genuini, in perfetto stile portoghese. Carta dei vini sterminata, personale all'altezza delle aspettative(la ragazza che ci ha seguito è stata il giusto mix,è stata professionale e ha risposto alle nostre richieste, senza mai essere invadente). Il conto, poi,è stato più che onesto, anche rispetto alla media(già bassa) dei locali di Lisbona. Consigliato, sul serio

La comida muy rica, pero pierde estrellas porque se dispara un poco el precio y me sienta fatal que te pongan pan y aceitunas (como en España cuando te pides un refresco y son para acompañar) y luego resulta que te lo clavan en la cuenta (2€ por un par de aceitunas y otros 2€ por unos panes que si no te comes todos se los ponen a otro). TOTAL 39€.
En cuanto al trato todo muy correcto.
He comido igual de bien en otro restaurante de Lisboa, callejeando un poquito en el típico restaurante escondido de pueblo...la comida igual de deliciosa, pidiendo un plato de bacalao y otro de carne, sin trampa ni cartón, y comer hasta saciarnos... gastándonos solo 16€ entre los dos, con bebida y pan incluidos.
Personalmente si tuviera que recomendarlo diría...SIGUE BUSCANDO

What a pleasant surprise on my first day in Lisbon. Attentive stuff, delicious food (loved the entrée), and good price( with the 22 euro menu you get entrée, soup, main course, desert, maybe coffee i think). Would come again if given the chance.

I can't believe how good this place was. The menu was a little unclear but the staff recommendations were sublime and the prices very reasonable. We were very well looked after as well.
The staff hardly speak English. Also there is no wifi. Neither of these points should deter you though.

Good food at honest prices - enough choice on menu (salads, fish, grilled meat but also some tapas) - extra plus for the very friendly staff - they were excellent, attentive and suggested great wine.
