We had a great breakfast and enjoyed it so much we went back for dinner. Great service, quiet. Hello, the owner, and others were wonderful...the right balance of attentive and respectful of privacy. Enjoy the breakfast special. We loved the mixed grill, grilled sea bass, and grilled salmon at dinner. It was such a treat to find a local, relatively inexpensive, an excellent restaurant in an upscale hotel district.

Friendly cozy local cafe with cold draft beer and great steak, fries potatoes, and fried eggs! And the friendly owner Helio is a true gentleman!

Comida casera muy sabrosa a un buen precio. Probar el Bacalao al Bras o el Róbalo nos atendieron súper bien aunque llegamos a las 17:00h.

Very authentic local place. Small but cosy. Brush up on your Portuguese because they don’t speak much English here but they do well to accommodate their guests. The food is good and well seasoned. Try the grilled salmon.

Senhor Hélio muito simpático, ótimo atendimento. A comida foi ainda melhor. Bacalhau a Brás e Bacalhau assado. Muito bons os dois pratos.

Like most restaurants they bring you bread, The bread was old...but ok no problem it only costed 1.50€
However along with the bread there was 3 containers
One with butter, another with garling butter and a third one with Patê
This Patê we did not touched or open it however we were charged 2.20€ for it
This really left us with a sour taste
Paying 3.70€ for old bread.

O senhor Hélio é um cozinheiro de mão cheia. A cozinha é leve, caseira, com ingredientes frescos, servida sem pretensões e com muita simpatia. Ah! Já me esquecia: preços muito em conta.

When the supposed "4 star" hotel across the road ran out of ice the hospitable owner of this restaurant gave ice for free! Lovely people, cold beer, try the ham and cheese pillows.
