Superbe endroit. Une piscine chauffée, idéal quand on vient avec des enfants. Accueil sympathique. Propre et douillet. 3 plages à proximité et -moyennant une petite marche à pied- proche du centre de Lagos.
On reviendra !!!

I've had the pleasure of staying in dona ana gardens ,in 3 occasions over all .
I rearly write reviews
I couldn't fault anything regarding my stay
Excellent location to the beautiful beaches and a short walk to the city center.
Jose and his staff are excellent
I have stayed else where in Lagos
And I haven't found anything to compare to dona ana gardens

Fui con mi mujer y dos niñas pequeñas. No encanto !! Nos atendio a las 11.00 cuando el checkin es mas tarde y me enseño el apartamento y me entrego las llaves cuando aun estaban limpiando. Apartamento espacioso y limpio. Tienen Wi-Fi. Hay dos piscinas. La grande y la pequeña de 0.50. Y parking gratuito. Todos muy amables. Si vuelvemos a Lagos volveremos seguro a hospedarnos ahi.

The location is prime, property is nice but service is pathetic. Their check in time is 4:00pm in the evening which is very late. Practically they charge you for 19 hrs a day as the checkout time is 11:00am . We were constantly in touch with the host about our schedule. Still when we reached, our room was not even cleaned. The toilets were so dirty, we were unable to use it. They made the room ready only around 5:30pm, giving the excuse that their staff is not available. Nobody bothered to explain the room amenities to us. At night the AC stopped working and nobody available to report that. Only in the morning we reported the same, but the staff responded pretty rudely.
They accept only cash payment. We had to pay £250 to them in cash. It was never mentioned before and we're not having that much of cash with us. Overall not a good choice. I will not recommended this property to anyone.

Très contents de notre semaine passée dans ce petit hôtel tout près de la plage du même nom (Magnifique plage). Piscine et exterieurs bien entretenus, mini mercado de l'hôtel très pratique. Vaisselle propre et en bon état. Un bémol pour la propreté au sol et la literie d'appoint (canapé lit juste pourri). Cela n'a cependant pas entaché notre séjour

Lugar estupendo para ir de vacaciones en pareja y en familia y lo mejor de todo, aceptan a tu perro sin coste ninguno.
Habitaciones espaciosas y limpias con piscina y un jardín muy bonito y cuidado.
Me he alojado dos años seguidos en este hotel y este año repetimos, sin lugar a dudas es recomendable al 100%. Todo el mundo es muy agradable y José siempre está atento a todo lo que puedas necesitar dándote contestación rápidamente.
Un lugar para relajarse y disfrutar de sus preciosas playas, su comida deliciosa y su excelente trato.

C'est vraiment une chouette petite maison d'hôtes, dans un cadre assez vert. La piscine est petite mais elle est tout de même très agréable étant donné qu'elle est chauffée contrairement à l'eau de la mer... il y a également plein de transats à disposition. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec une belle terrasse aménagée. Dommage que la douche ait été conçue pour les géants... pommeau de douche à accrocher à 2m de hauteur... impossible pour moi...

Fantastic apartments, brilliant staff and excellent location!
Our room was very spacious with a lovely shared outdoor area, where we had breakfast and lunch most days.
Location is perfect for the beach and a 10-15 minute walk into the local town where there are a huge variety of bars and places to eat.
The shop next door has everything you need, from bread to beer!
The only thing that would have made this place 10/10 is a lack of bar on sight to grab a lunch time drink or a snack....however this wasn't a massive issue for us as the well stocked shop next door and easy access to the town.
Would highly recommend !

Really disappointed. The accomodation is dated and there are a number of issues, including broken facilities and dangerous faults (such as the bathroom window). Two nights sleep were ruined by a fire alarm sounding continually. Each time it stopped there was a continual beeping outside our room and we didnt even get an apology from the owner. We tried to talk to the owner about the issues but the assistant staff were unhelpful and didnt let us see them. The only good thing about this place was the location.

Great location (a few minutes walk to the beaches and less than half an hour walk from city centre/Old Lagos/train station and excellent service. They printed my boarding passes and were quick to answer any of my queries.

Stayed there for 3 nights as part my honeymoon with my wife and was very disappointed. The grounds are very nice and well kept but the room leaves much to be desired.
1. The bed was very uncomfortable. It creaked and crinkled as I scrambled to find a position that was bearable (which was never found).
2. The walls were very thin. We were able to hear our neighbor go to the washroom in the middle of the night.
3. The shower was not fully functional. The shower head wouldn't stay on the holder forcing you to hold it the entire time as you showered or water would spray everywhere. The drain was clogged, and the base looked beat up.
It also shouldn't a special request to receive new towels on multi night stays.
It seems like a lot of these reviews are getting responses from the owner dismissing their issues completely. My wife left a review stating how uncomfortable the bed bed was and the owner responded saying we were lying. How can you judge something you don't sleep on?
In my opinion, the staff should be trying to fix these issues instead of accusing their customers of lying.

Grounds and pool are well kept and pretty but the rooms are another story...
Our bed was literally broken - my husband and I left with some major back pain. The walls are paper thin - we could hear the people next door going to the bathroom...pretty awful. Our shower was old, dirty and broken. The maids never brought us new towels, they came in twice and it seems all they did was change the sheets.
For that price ( 170 euros for 3 nights), I would spent a little more and go somewhere newer.

Retro inside, closed doors to neighbours inside the apartment. Paperthin walls, you can hear the neigbbours talking. No card payment, far from the city but close to the beach and to ponta da piedade. It has a pool and nice garden.

Calidad precio fatal!!! Agua de la piscina muy sucia, la piscina también muy sucia... muchos electrodomésticos y 2 enchufes!!! Si ponías una cosa quintabas otra...es un rollo tener que andar desenchufado el microondas para enchufar la tostadora, cafetera, hervidor, etc... servicio de limpieza muy justo tirando "pa bajo". Sin recepción...la recepción es una frutería...para hablar, pedir, pagar, etc...tenías que esperar turno a que te tocara detrás de alguien que estaba comprando algo!!!

Cost effective! Right next to the house, you can find a grocery store, which is check-in office. Good location for scenery view of the coast

Zona alejada del centro, y oscura de noche. Los apartamentos son de apariencia normal y el precio es muy barato. Si no importa la zona en la que esta es recomendable.

Alojamento em vivenda com varandas, completamente equipado (secador de cabelo, ferro de engomar+tábua, tv, internet, louças+talheres+panelas), é feita a limpeza diária com mudança de toalhas (mas não é feita a lavagem da louça que é da responsabilidade dos hóspedes). Tudo tem um aspeto cuidado desde o jardim à piscina. É um lugar sossegado, no qual apenas os chilrear dos pássaros se ouve logo pela manhã, ideal para acompanhar o pequeno almoço (não está incluído e é da responsabilidade dos hóspedes) na varanda. Ideal para famílias e para quem queira deixar o carro no parque de estacionamento (gratuito) e ir a pé para a praia Dona Ana acerca de 5m. Perto há apenas o mini mercado que pertence ao alojamento, mas andando cerca de 10m encontrará cafés e restaurantes.

Delivered on what it promised- cheap and basic accommodation, well located with a nice little pool to boot. One issue- would've been good if they had dish washing products in the kitchen..

The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. You can get a decent accomodation for a fair price if you dont mind some outdated furniture. Overall definately not a bad choice.

Ottima posizione, piscina piccola e giardino ben curato. Appartamento piccolo e stretto con mobili vecchi e rovinati. Doccia non molto confortevole. Funzionale come appartamento con lo stretto necessario, un po' caro per quello che offre.

Szuper helyen van, a strand pár perc séta. A wifi viszont nagyon gyenge, az emeleti szobában nincs tulajdonképpen. Egy két apróság hiányzik, mosogatószivacs és hasonlók, anélkül nehéz mosogatni......de a hely szuper.

Il luogo è in posizione strategica, gli arredi sono datati ( almeno l'interno 220) il giardino è ben curato così come la piscina. Una nota negativa devo darla alle pulizie non proprio eccellenti comunque discrete, in una settimana di soggiorno le lenzuola non sono state mai cambiate.

Etwas außerhalb gelegen, ca 2min zum Strand, ca 15-20min zu Fuß zum wunderschönen Felsenlabyrinth.
Umgeben von einer Neubausiedlung und Rohbauruinen.
Freundliche Gastgeberin, günstiger Preis.
Sauberkeit: von allen 5 Unterkünften, in denen ich an der Algarve war, die mit Abstand schlechteste. Entsetzlicher Gestank aus dem Abfluss, schimmelige Fugen, insgesamt heruntergekommenes Mobiliar.
Nachts treffen sich offenbar alle streunenden Hunde der Algarve vor der Pension, daher nicht wirklich ruhig.

After a really noisy and rough stay elsewhere we finally found this place. We had an amazing stay here with a private terrace.
Place has a big parking at the back and the staff is super friendly. Can't believe this place doesn't have a straight 5 score. It is cheap, beautiful, quiet and cozy.

Esta muy bien situado porque es un sitio tranquilo y en la carretera de Punta da Piedade. Muy limpio y habitaciones amplias, con jardines muy cuidados. Ademas tiene aparcamiento propio para clientes y precio muy bueno.

Amazing location, near some of the most beautiful beaches of Algarve. The room furniture were old and worn, the small fridge was rusty outside. Our room definitely needed a proper refurbishment. The Garden with Koi ponds is really well kept. The swimming pool is on the small side, good for children. The free parking area is big and convenient.
