They have a lunch menu from 12 to 6 with 6,95€ and it's really worth it... Chicken curry and lamb curry were quite tasty

Schreckliches Essen. Kaltes gekochtes lederartiges Fleisch wird als Steak mit kaltem Reis serviert. Schisch Kebab ist bloß ein wurstartiger kalter Hackspieß mit kalten gekochten Kartoffeln. Ich bin traumatisiert, Nie wieder!

The place was really horrible. The staff were very unprofessional and didn't respect the fact that there are customer's in the restaurant. They were just speaking in Hindi so loud and about the customer and since we understood Hindi it was no so pleasant. We were shocked when we noticed that the food was served in really old plates and discoloured plates and what was more annoying was seeing the plates chipped. This place being a new restaurant and trying to represent Indian cuisine is a disgrace to the Indians. Definitely would not recommend anyone to visit this place. It's better to go to a proper Indian restaurant than spoil your taste with this restaurant.

Welcoming and helpful staff. I had the chicken vindaloo! Delicious! Nan bread is tasty aswell. We also tried the samosas. Also delicious. I had a most excellent meal.

It's a pity that there are only 5 stars because I want to rate it 8 stars! The food is absolutely out of this world and the the customer service is just as good as the food! If you're looking for a good indian restaurant in Lisbon, I highly recommend this amazing restaurant.

The quality of the food was very poor. The mango lassi was the worst, I dont know what to call it. We couldn't eat what we ordered and have to leave everything on the plates.
I explained the restaurant owner how the food had tasted. and suggested him to improve the quality of the food served. It need lot of Improvement and I wouldn't suggest any of my friends to visit this restaurant.

A verdade é que já tinha estado neste restaurante, e a impressão foi satisfatória, cumpriu minimamente. Mas, esta última visita foi muito má. Falta de comunicação, pedidos não registados, comida que não foi servida mas que até não foi mau, porque o frango que serviram tinha sabor a salmão. Foi um jantar para esquecer. Reclamei de forma urbana e até paguei depois de um desconto oferecido. Mas se não estivesse com a minha filha, não tinha pago nada e quem sabe se não era o restaurante que me tinha que pagar o tempo ali perdido e a chatice. Bom apetite.

Ottimo ristorante per chi vuole mangiare bene del cibo portoghese e indiano, spendendo una cifra moderata.
Un suo punto forte è sicuramente la cucina su cui non ho nulla da dire: cibo cucinato bene e porzioni perfette.
Un suo punto debole, probabilmente il primo che salta all'occhio, è l'arredamento. Penso che il locale abbia bisogno di un generale rinnovamento soprattutto da un punto stilistico (basti pensare che entrando si nota immediatamente sul muro una foto del Taj Mahal con un'immagine della Gioconda a pochi centimetri di distanza).
In ogni caso consiglio questo ristorante a tutte le persone che hanno voglia di mangiare bene sia indiano che portoghese, ripeto, ad un prezzo ragionevole.

When the bill came the sign outside turned out to be different than the real menu.... Tasteless food and not worth 10 € (sign said 6,95 €). They are from India but have clearly forgotten their proud background because this restaurant is not worth a visit. Burger King would give you a better meal.

El pollo al curry excelente, pollo suave y buena salsa, pero el hubo un momento en el que los camareros se expresaron mal, las luces del baño las deberían poner "LED" Porque la iluminación es mala.

A localização é boa, mas o menu é enganador.
Nós fomos jantar, havia apenas uma mesa ocupada para além de nós. O serviço foi extremamente lento. A refeição não foi boa, escolhemos refeições portuguesas e vinha tudo frito em excesso de óleo e notava-se perfeitamente que os alimentos eram congelados.
Além disso, a água que pedimos era da marca "Auchan" ou seja, Jumbo. E pagamos 1,75€ por cada garrafa de 50cl. Achei um exagero.
A única coisa que apreciamos foi o arroz, pois estava saboroso, e o pão pita com molhos que oferecem no início.
Quando voltar a esta zona, não voltarei a este restaurante.

Their food made me sick and ruined my two days in Lisbon. I must stayed in bed to get over it. I threw up three times and I am not mentioning the lazy stuff.

Nice indian Tandoori restaurant with very polite personnel. The food was good and fresh and very tasteful. The menu comes in 4 languages and shows pictures some of the dishes.
Quality of the food is above average.
The service is what you expect.
The prices are below average.
Worth a visit: yes!
Worth coming back for: yes.
(There are many restaurants in this street, this was the only one that let us study the menu without bothering us to have diner there. Just as we like it)

Food harmless but incredibly boring - whatever you order comes in exactly the same sauce be it called madras, vindaloo or dupiaza. The only seasoning in the dahl seemed to be black pepper - do they really think that customers won't notice?

This is one and only Indian restaurant in Portugal which we didn't like during our month long stay. Food was bad but there were no smiles from the staff. If you have spent enough time in Portugal, you'd know that not smiling is a crime in Portugal. For the very first time we felt unwanted in a restaurant in Portugal. The raita we ordered was really sour and probably spoiled. We didn't eat it. Finished the rest of our food, quietly paid the bill and walked out. Will not recommend at all.

This is a 4 to 4.5 restaraunt the food was quite good it was a bit chilly in the lower area however they did close the door to help warm us all up...the service was excellent...We really enjoyed the vegetable Samosa's...the medium chicken curry was quite mild and the vindaloo chicken has a bite that sneaks up on you. We also had the garlic and cheese naan it has a very garlicky bite to it(if you are worried about smelling like garlic later then I would avoid this) however we really enjoyed it...

Make your own judgement. We saw some lousy reviews about this place but they were wrong. Amazing Indian food. Packed with flavour and good portions at a reasonable price. The waitress was a doll and extremely friendly. Order one rice to share between two people. It's plenty.

Cozy Indian restaurant, with friendly staff. As all Indian restaurants, there is a huge selection of dishes to choose from, the ones I already tried are not bad at all. It's a great place for groups, as they have many seats and also have group menu with a friendly price.

Jolie découverte que ce nouveau restaurant indien dans l'hyper centre chic et touristique de Lisbonne. À deux pas du Hard Rock Café.
Nous choisissons un vin rouge, des nans à l'ail, une soupe au poulet.

Lecker Essen zu guten Preisen mit super Service.
Wir waren mit unserem Zwerg (2) zum Städtetrip in Lissabon und sind durch Zufall im "O Sitar" gelandet.
Man hat sich sehr liebevoll um uns und unseren Kleinen gekümmert.
Das Essen war echt lecker und die Preise sind absolut günstig - im Vergleich zu den restlichen Restaurants in der Umgebung.
Sehr zu empfehlen.

I didn't find the flavors in the curry to be any tasty, and especially nowhere near spicy. The chicken was also pretty dry. The naan was good and the yogurt salad for starter was refreshing.

Péssima! A comida é má:claramente feita com alimentos congelados, sem sabor e com aditivos potenciadores de sabor (que em geral não existe!) que provocam dores de cabeça! Mais vale comer num restaurante comum das redondezas!!! O serviço foi feito em inglês porque a maioria dos funcionários não fala português. E na hora de pedir a conta apresentam um papel manuscrito, numa tentativa clara de fuga a impostos. TUDO PÉSSIMO!!!

The food, in general, was the lowest in terms of quality we've come across so far. We'd ordered Fried rice with eggs and Prawns Madras. The fried rice was very oily with a bunch of turmeric. The curry was fine. We'd ordered a portion of Gaajar Halwa (Indian sweet made of carrot gratings) and found it to be almost rotten - either almost rotten carrots were used in its making or it wasn't preserved properly. We returned it and they excluded it from the bill.
The restaurant also seems to be open to street hawkers which is very annoying.

Service was incredibly slow in this restaurant, and we had to wait nearly an hour for the main course to arrive. Food ranged from unremarkable to downright bad (for starters, the naan bread was slightly burnt), and in smaller quantities than we'd get from the competition for the same price. Also, we were constantly bothered by street vendors selling trinkets and flowers, and a steady draught from the doorway which was always open.
