Beautiful light spacious clean dual aspect apartment with fantastic full length private balcony with wonderful views across Lisbon to the Tagus River. Great hosts - nothing too much effort - would highly recommend .

Seit vielen Jahren verbringen wir Weihnachten in Lissabon, in Graca, diesem besonderen Stadtteil - mit Carlotas schöner Wohnung. Wir freuen uns jedes Jahr auf diese Tage: Lissabon ohne zu viele Touristen, oft Sonnenschein, Balkonblick auf den Platz vor dem Haus mit kleinem Weihnachtsmarkt. Das Haus ist ruhig, die Wohnung gemütlich und komfortabel. Und Carlota ist sooo nett, gut gelaunt und immer hilfsbereit.

We booked this rental after months of searching properties in Lisbon. We chose this place for many reasons including the great reviews and we were not disappointed. Carlota is a wonderful host who went out of her way to help make our stay fabulous. We cannot say enough good things about Carlota! From before we even arrived she worked with us to help make our trip go as smoothly as possible-including helping with my Portuguese. She assisted with airport transfers, tours, tour guides, and itineraries. Upon arrival she met us at the property to make sure everything was perfect and to answer any questions. She even went for a walk with us around the area and showed us where the laundry, butcher, groceries, and best bakeries and restaurants were, as we were staying in her place for almost a month. She also left us a list of some of her favorite restaurants and foods to eat, and arranged metro passes for us. Throughout our stay she would occasionally text us to see how we were doing. Carlota's property exceeded every expectation and was the perfect place for a wonderful month in Lisbon. For starters, the flat is located in a great area. We were close enough to walk almost anywhere and tram 28 is just outside the front door. It was not too crowded/touristy, and yet still had all the charm of old Lisboa. The praca where this apartment is located is right at the intersection of old and new, the touristy and the local, which allowed our family to mingle with the locals and still experience the Lisbon you read about in travel magazines. The flat is on the fourth floor and all the rooms have an amazing view of the old convent, the square below, and the river and pantheon off to the left. At nights we loved to lie in bed with the door open and feel the cool breeze while seeing the convent bell tower lit up and listening to the hum of dinner conversations from the praca below. The kitchen window offers an amazing panoramic view of Alfama and the Tagus river. The interior of the flat was in great condition and has been updated. Great bathroom with shower. The air conditioning worked great and was a welcome reprieve from the summer heat in the middle of the day, although opening windows provided a cooling breeze. The flat has two elevators which we appreciated after long days of walking the hills of Lisbon. The building, apt, and neighborhood all felt safe. Everything was perfect and we would recommend this property to any of our friends!!
