First of all, the view is excellent! Second note... it is a tourist trap so be carefull for pickpockets. If you descent the stairs, on your left is a small tunnel which has the whole history of Lisboa painted on the walls.

if u stroll around the hill u cannot miss it, a spot with a great view like a vast terrace , lots of live music during august, many coffe places, be carefull of pick pockets, it is a romantic spot for pics and gazing, the guys in the green kiosk at the cafe are really rude and not polite..they deserved some kick in their @ss..but dont ruin ur holiday, enjoy the spot

Deep in the heart of Lisboa you find yourself walking in narrow old streets, lot of stairs but the prize is an amazing view from the top.

Há uma grande confusão aqui. Procurei em monumentos.gov.pt e não encontrei referência segura sobre ser esta parede, parecendo resto de muralha, de origem visigótica. Todavia, turistas, eu inclusive, se perdem ao tentar localiza-la entre os miradouros das Portas do Sol e de Santa Luzia.

Be careful of pick pocket around this area. They will walk very close to you and open your bag/backpack.

Great spot at the top of the alfama where you can enjoy a delicious local beer with excellent views of the whole district
