Comida tipica bem temperada. Atendimento muito simpático de imigrantes de Goa

Das Curry, das wir hatten, stellte wirklich alles in den Schatten, was man „beim Inder“ in Deutschland so bekommt.
Währen man bei uns den Eindruck hat, es werden Fleischstückchen in einer Soße aus fertiger Gewürz-Paste und Wasser oder Kokosmilch gekocht, ist die Soße hier komplett selbst gemacht.
Unfassbar lecker.
Der empfohlene Wein war sehr gut und mit 11€ auch recht günstig.
Das Restaurant selbst ist wirkt eher nüchtern und privat, zum Glück fehlen hier die typischen kitschigen Bilder und die ewige Sitar-Musik.
Der Service war jetzt nichts besonderes, aber nett, flott und hilfsbereit. Aber wir waren ja auch eher zum Essen da.

O Cantinho da Paz é um restaurante pequeno, extremamente acolhedor, onde a simpatia do staff apenas é igualada pela qualidade dos pratos servidos! Quanto ao preço, é uma ótima relação qualidade/preço.

Was good food only no flexibility on dietary prefs. My wife couldn’t eat anything in the main courses due to a garlic allergy and there was no offer to prepare something without. Had to make do with what the menu offered. So she had two aperitifs and a dessert.

Tinha algumas expectativas em relação a este restaurante devido aos vários anos de história do mesmo no entanto em parte não correspondeu às expectativas. O ambiente é muito acolhedor , a simpatia também , no entanto a relação qualidade da comida / preço não é equilibrada. Paga se bem por algo normal que não sobressai dos demais. Existem cantinhos do género mais escondidos mas com uma relação qualidade / preço mais equilibrada. Foi uma experiência interessante mas duvido que repetirei.

I come to Lisbon once or twice a year and when I do I make sure to find an AirBnB close to this restaurant so that I can have my favourite dish "Xacuti de vitela".

Os herdeiros da excelente cozinha do Sebastião gerem este local comme il fault. Baji puri, xacuti, caril, bebinca são cinco estrelas. E a simpatia também.

Sono stata a Lisbona a luglio 2018. Ero molto indecisa se andare a mangiare indiano a Lisbona. Sono veramente felice di essere stata in questo ristorante! Lo consiglio vivamente! I sapori degli antipasti, dei gamberi, chiaramente molto freschi, con una salsa squisita (in questo caso, poco piccante, come piace a me), erano eccezionali. Il servizio ottimo, tutti molto cordiali e simpatici. Il locale è carino e accogliente. Anche la zona è bella e centrale, vicino al palazzo del Parlamento. Spero di poter ritornare. Grazie.

Very delicious food. Found this place by accident and we were very lucky that we could taste some Goa food and dishes. Price is very affordable. Wish we could go back there again.

We had dinner last night and were disappointed with the food. The baby shark ambotic was rubbery and huge - definitely not baby shark. The king prawn balchau was disappointing as well. I would not recommend this restaurant.

If you’re craving for Indian food in Lisbon, look no further. We had an amazing chicken curry (Goan style). Even the prawn curry looked finger licking. Highly recommend this place.

Dieser Inder ist kein Inder. Wir haben zwei der drei vegetarischen Gerichte probiert und waren enttäuscht. Verkochtes Gemüse in Sauce mit im Ansatz indischen Gewürzen, mit einem indischen Curry hatte das weder vom Geschmack noch von der Konsistenz noch von der Zubereitung etwas zu tun. Der Service war dafür freundlich und aufmerksam.

Came because of a friend’s recommendation and it did not disappoint. The flavours were out of this world. The fish in the fish curry was so well flavoured and delicate - every bite was followed by a “wow”. Highly recommend this place.

What a lovely little treasure, this restaurant. It only has about 8 or 9 tables and one person in the kitchen and one waiting the tables. Their food is based on the Goa traditions (a former Portuguese colony) and contains a lot of delicious curries. Ps: When we were there they had no creditcard machine, so bring some cash with you.

Heerlijk gegeten hier! Het eten heeft echt smaak. Toppunt was dat de heer des huizes, tevens zoon van de eigenaar, de rijst en kip voor ons op het bord schepte. Vriendelijke jongen en een praatje gemaakt met hem. Verbeterpunt is dat het restaurant de gerechten voortaan inclusief groenten kan maken. Helaas waren alle gerechten, zo ook ons gerecht (alleen rijst met vlees), zonder groenten. De ober kwam later zelf nog koude salade brengen.

This restaurant is a pretty expensive for the area and the food is good but not amazing. We ordered and 15 min later the waiter came to tell us that they had run out of the dish. We had to wait a lot until the food was finally served.

Beautiful food, more expensive than most places but very reasonable (20eur ish for wine entre main). I went on a Monday just as they opened so it was super calm and peaceful.
