I had an excellent time during my 4-night stay here. The Hostel’s location is prime, just across the street from a beautiful overlook of the city (pictured below). Every night, the staff organized something small such as free sangria or game night that brought the Hostel’s occupants together. The breakfast was very good. Also, I appreciated how small the hostel was as it allowed me to meet almost all the other guests staying there!

Minha primeira impressão de Lisboa. Maravilhosooooo! Ambiente acolhedor, ultra super localizado no bairro alto defronte o miradouro São Pedro de Alcântara, próximo a baixa chiado, cais do Sodré e diversos pontos turísticos da cidade. Fácil acesso através do metro e dos autocarros(ônibus). Podes ir a pé para muitos lugares e é perfeito para quem gosta de viver a noite da cidade. O pequeno almoço ( café da manhã) é sortido. As camas mesmo sendo beliches tem muita privacidade. O melhor hostel que já me hospedei.

La hospitalidad, la ubicación y el interior del hostal fueron perfectas. Insisto con la atención que dio el chico en recepción no fejaba de hacernos recomendaciones incluso cuando no se las pediamos, muy agradable y de bastante ayuda.

One of the best hostels I have ever visited! It has everything what sufficient hostel needs - atmosphere, great crew, nice events. Every evening something is prepared for guests - pub crawl, free sangria etc. I will not feel lonely here even if you travel alone. Also I recommend the trip to Sintra with retro van an great guide!

I loved this hostel, it's staff and location so much, I stayed here twice during my visits to Lisbon. Of the four hostels I stayed in, it's the only one I returned to. This is a testament to the friend and helpful staff (shout out to Eddie and G!), it's cleanliness and amenities, and it's location. Couldn't recommend more!

Staff was great, beds were clean, and the location was nice. I wish we stayed a night more so we could do some of the activities. It is on a hill though for anyone who is coming from the metro station carrying luggage.

I really liked this hostel. Straight away you will be made to feel welcome, and there is a real social atmosphere about the place. I guess the free Sangria helped too (Yep that's right - free Sangria. What's not to like?) The rooms are well thought out, with plenty of luggage storage and sockets near every bed. The curtains on the beds themselves are a good idea, and give a little more darkness when you need to get some sleep. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice for both meat eaters and veggies. The hostel is in a handy position, nice views of the city and ideally located to explore Bairro Alto and its many bars. Thanks Eddie and the rest of the team for a great stay!

We arrived at 1:30. they are open 24/7. friendly and relaxed. We got some water and snacks after long travel. Perfekt start. Clean, nice style, big rooms.

宿泊費は現地支払いだとの記載はありましたが、まさかの現金…。 同価格帯の宿泊施設にいつも泊まっていますが、今まで旅行してきた中で初の経験でした。 連泊だと大きい金額になるので是非ともカード対応して頂きたいです。 最終都市で現金も少なくなっている所での現金支払いは最悪で、かなり支障が出ました。

No shampoo and limited towels/tp, but perhaps I'm just use to hotels. Pretty bare bones, but It met the requirements and the location was great. Large enough to squeeze in 20 to 25 people? Beds were clean.

Upside: I really liked this hostel a lot - one of the best I've stayed at. Eddie, Elaine and Angela are lovely and make the hostel. You get a warm welcome with an iced tea and introduced to the others. There's also free lemonade and ice tea throughout the day. Each evening there is usually a meal or drinks option, sometimes free. There's also a social Fado cafe night. It's a very laid-back, calm hostel with a nice view from the common room. The location is perfect and a few minutes' walk from old town. (For food I recommend Grapes and Bites or Best Kebab!). Downside: Once 11.30 hits you have to be quiet and you feel a bit watched if you remain up above this time and don't go out. Sharing a bed is frowned upon, even if it's an innocent nap. Also, weirdly, you can't nap or sleep on the common room sofa areas. Most hostels see people purposefully or accidentally fall asleep in the common area - it's very, um, common, but I saw people getting woken up here. Not sure why. There are also three-tier beds which I found a bit dangerous for the person on the top bunk. Not seen this in a hostel before. The breakfast is a bit basic, but it's free!

Lookout Lisbon! Hostel provide good service, clean rooms and good programs. Free tours start everyday as well as there are events in the evening. Highly recommended for socializing people :-)

Einfach ein super Hostel, zentral gelegen, sehr sauben, sicher, die Mitarbeiter sind stets bemüht das alles einwandfrei ist. Gute Preise und ein gutes Freizeitangebot z.b. Ausflüge oder Abends ein gemeinsames Dinner. Top!

There are not a lot of private hostels any more, where owners pour their hearts and passion into the place. Lookout Lisbon! is one of them. Claudia and Fabio made the place and the experience unforgetable. It's easy to make new friends, for example over a family dinner or sharing a drink. Hostel is very well located next to an amaizing lookout point and party area of Lisbon. If you have a chance to visit Lisbon you should stop and visit Lookout Lisbon!

it was juste for 2 days but i had great moments, thank you Loukout and thank you Lisbon for hapiness and all good times.

It has definitely to be mentioned as the youngest hostel I've ever been so far! I found myself well hosted and surrounded by very friendly and helpful staff. A special tribute goes to Pedro as the best male receptionist and Sofia as the best female receptionist. Thank you guys, good job! Hope yo see you again !

I had my first bed bug experience at this hostel. I asked if they had notified the other guests and have not heard back. Up until that point, the staff were very nice. There was a night where we could try port. And the location was very nice with a great view.

La estancia en el hostel fue impresionante, una compañía excepcional de viajeros de todo el mundo (muy buena vibra).La ayuda de pedro fue esencial para andar Lisboa como un local.Siempre alegre y súper dispuesto a ayudar. De las instalaciones decir que los espacios siempre estuvieron limpios, dígase los baños y las habitaciones. El refrigerador es grande y la cocina también. En el salón pusieron una película y compartíamos con regularidad sangría y vino de porto. Sin dudas repetiría. Muchas gracias a su personal.

Im still recovering from the bed bugs. If not the bed bugs this is a good place to stay. I won't recommend to solo travels tho. because its a very small hostel (like an apartment) so you probably won't meet people there. The guys are every nice! Especially Pedro who's making an amazing sangria.

It's a very nice place to stay, we live here for 3 nights, and the staffs are so kind like your old friend. There has different party in the evening everday, so you can make friends with different countries in that moment.We really love this Hostel and recommend everyone who comes to Lisbon can choose this lovely home to stay.

Tal cual a las imagines de Booking, lo único que no nos hizo gracia, que no había microondas en las cocinas y que entraban en el apartamento cuando no estábamos, aunque fuera personal de los apartamentos

The staff are the bonus here - Gui and Eddie were exceptionally friendly, more than ready to give advice on where to eat and things to do/see. There are events run every evening in the lounge which unfortunately we weren't able to go to but they seemed a lot of fun and really got everyone in the hostel interacting with each other. The location is really good, with easy access to all the sights in the city as well as the main train station and metro/tram points. They have a quiet policy within the hostel after 11pm - which I appreciated as I am always up and out early.

This hostel was amazing! We arrived on Sangria night and immediately got welcomed by into the main room full of guests sitting, chatting and drinking free Sangria. All the staff were welcoming, especially Eddie. We did the Tapas night and it is credit to how good this hostel is that the table was overflowing with guests eating and drinking and chatting with each other. The place was always kept clean, everyone was respectful of each other and we were really well looked after. Don't stay anywhere else in Lisbon, seriously.

Great location and very friendly staff. Overall, a small hostel with a quirky feel. Kitchen is a bit small and check in is a bit later than ideal but no complaints as they do it to prioritize cleanliness in the hostel.

I stayed here ages ago but it remains my favourite hostel. It was amazing & really cheap. Me aloje aqui hace mucho tiempo pero sigue siendo mi albergue favorito. Fue increible y muy barato.

Rooms weer fine and larve enough. The showers clean but the toilet seat was not attached to the toilet itself. Fine atmosphere.

I've stayed at lookout twice now and it's been great. The staff is friendly and the location is perfect. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon!

Best hostel I've ever been to. Small, which makes it extremely convivial. I recommend for single travelers or really small groups. Everything one could need is available. Daily activities, as well as themed evenings.

Boa localização. Quarto , casa de banho e cozinha limpas. O Staff é muito amistoso e sempre pronto a ajudar, seja em que hora do dia for. Só não leva 5 estrelas, porque o quarto era um pouco quente, fora esse pormenor tudo ok.

Definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed at. Great location, very hospitable staff, great mingling events, clean, inexpensive, common room with a computer, and secure. I would go back in a heartbeat. It's also very close to the train and close to the airport.

Ma toute première auberge de jeunesse, et je ne suis pas déçue. Super accueil, très joli lieu avec une bonne ambiance, et dans le centre près de tout. Les sanitaires sont propres et la literie très correcte. Le petit déjeuner inclu est un délice, surtout le pain !!! L'auberge propose des activités tous les jours pour visiter ou même faire du surf. Je recommande à 100%

Aunque no me hospedé, visité este hostal porque me llamo la atención su decoración. Es un edificio antiguo reconvertido en hostal y que sigue conservando algunos de sus detalles originales. Aproveché el desayuno buffet y la verdad que estuvo genial, natural, rico y variado

Very young helpful nice and welcoming owners. Always ready to give support and advices. They offer tours in and outside Lisboa, some of them are free. They offer culture events information and they know their city. Breakfast is included in the price. Very clean place. Very well located in the bar neighbourhood of Bario Alto. Bikes for rent, big kitchen and some collective cooking sessions. Staff is doing its maximum for you to have a nice stay and keep a respectful atmoshpere so everyone feels home and can relax. If you are sensitive about noise- bring your earplugs since bars are crowded at night- but this is not in control of hostel people who are really lovely and sweet !!
