If you have all the documents in place, everything is done very quickly. Reach the office early by 7.30am wait in the queue for the token. The office opens at 8.30am. You can get BI same day by paying urgent fees. The staff at the information desk and at the registration desk were very helpful and friendly. They gave us proper information about the collection timings. Once the BI is electronically updated you can apply for passport on the same day.
