We arrived shortly before closing and sat on the small bar side of the restaurant. My friend and I were a bit picky with our drinks and the gentleman who served us patiently listened to our request and ended up making a beautiful, perfectly crafted ‘non-alcoholic drink with fruit in it’ (our strange request!). Lovely interior, lovely staff - highly recommended!

Lieu extraordinaire. C'est bon c'est beau et le personnel est très sympa. Les yeux verts du serveur vont faire tomber les dames. C'est un endroit dynamique et j'en rêve encore. J'y reviendrai avec mes amis

Really really succulent suckling pig!! Would really recommend it - the skin is thin and crispy and the meat is so juicy! The place is also very big and well designed. Staff were friendly and the general vibe was great!

Por la noche no tienen menú,el ambiente acogedor y la comida buena excepto una especie de lechuga caliente que pusieron de guarnición,precios elevadisimos fuera de menu,al pagar con tarjeta me preguntó el camarero si me cobraba la propina con tarjeta,ese detalle no me gustó.

Excellent food and service and nice overall atmosphere. Even during the late lunch hours the place was so busy that we had to wait for a table, but sat comfortably by the bar and were offered a glass of porto so we could enjoy that waiting time. The menu of the day was really reasonably priced and served fresh. The portion sizes were huge. The waitresses were super nice and friendly. Amazing time with friends. Larger groups are offered joined tables which also contributes to joyful atmosphere.

Locale molto carino ed accogliente; l’atmosfera è molto rilassata ed elegante per trascorrere una serata in compagnia di amici.
Ottimo locale anche per una serata romantica.
A pranzo l’atmosfera è ancora più piacevole e rilassante per chi ama ambienti tranquilli.
Tapas, formaggi e vino ottimi.
In generale l’ambiente è molto curato nei dettagli e ovviamente pulitissimo.
I tram passano molto vicini alla porta, quindi per un’atmosfera ancora più “locale”, personalmente, consiglio di prendere un tavolo verso le vetrine che affacciano sulla strada.
Il personale è gentile.
La sera si può ascoltare il fado, ma conviene chiedere per giorni ed orari.

Très bon.
Menu 12€. Salade ( rien d exceptionnel)
Steak petit pois et carotte et frites maison. Super bon
Et dessert mousse chocolat et celle au caramel. Tout bonnement délicieux.
Service professionnel.

tienen menú que está muy bien la atención por parte de los empleados bien también el lugar por dentro es espectacularmente bonito por fuera parece un sitio más para comer pero vale la pena entrar sólo por verlo y tomar algo

Très bonne table à lisbonne, rapport qualité prix excellent (menu entrée plat dessert moins de 12€ le midi), service impeccable! on peux même voir le fameux tramway jaune passé devant le restaurant!

La taverna è piccola ma ben arredata, il posto è caratteristico e piacevole, il personale è estremamente cordiale e attento alle esigenze del cliente. Abbiamo assaggiato dei piatti tipici tra cui l’ottimo “bacalau”, i ragazzi hanno preferito la carne che era ben cucinata. I prezzi sono nella media noi ci siamo trovati bene.

Amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere! I had the cod as I am ordering at almost every restaurant in Lisbon, and it was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavour! My family had the suckling pig for 2 and it was also excellent. We were treated to some Fado music while there which was absolutely lovely.

Fazendo jus ao nome oferecem deliciosos pratos como o risoto de leitão e ele a Bairrada com um molho de pimenta excelente. O ideal é chegar cedo pois fecham 12pm como a grande maioria dos estabelecimentos lisboetas

My wife was in the next door "D. Afonso o Gordo" for Fado night. Since our Bulldog was with us, I waited outside. Dogs aren't allowed inside restaurants in Portugal, but the waiter here was friendly enough to serve me some drinks, while I was on the sidewalk with my dog. And I'm thankful for that.
I had a beer and a glass of portuguese red wine. Beer was nice and cold and the wine of good quality. Prices fair. The restaurant itself looked very cozy and sure is fun to spend an hour or two. But I was happy just to get anything at all, so with the beer and wine in my hand time just flew by :)

entrati per caso è subito sorpresi all'architettura del locale assai particolare e suggestiva. Abbiamo gustato un ottimo risotto e calici di vino assai interessante. Il dolce non ha deluso le aspettative. Molto gentile il personale peraltro molto giovane

Tiene dos partes donde sirven comidas, nosotros comimos en la pequeña, la parte de la derecha , comimos un menú del día genial , y la persona que nos sirvió inmejorable .

Petit resto rapide avec des places assises supplémentaires à l’étage du dessus. Nous y avons goûté le sandwich au cochon de lait basic et il était très bon et servit rapidement. Le serveur est serviable et prend me temps de nous décrire tous les plats. Le resto est très bien décoré. Je recommande!

Touristical place, of course, but very nice menu (12 euros lunch), beautiful rustic place and lovely service! Totally recommend the place :) I had the bacalhau, which was lovely, but the leitão (suckling pig) looked really succulent!

Service is great but be warned that it's slightly over priced for what you get. I got the suckling pig which was their speciality. To be honest I thought it was good but not ok. We spent 62 euro for a shared Starter, suckling pig and sangria and 1 coffee... A bit pricey...

Amazing pork for an affordable price. I would also recommend the cheese plate. Service is really friendly. Just a few tables. You might have to wait with a good glass of wine before having a seat.
