Pessimo atendimento fiz reserva para as 21:30 cheguei la as 21:25 ainda esperei pela hora correta e quando chegou a hora acabei por ter de esperar mais 20min e acabei por ir embora por nem mesa terem para mim e pela arrogância dos empregados

I wasn't sure what to order when I got to the restaurant, I was tired from a long day of travel that had started early. I asked the server for something that was not too filling. He recomended the simple bread, I settled on that and the lentil soup. For a main I had shrimp (jhinge masala) as recomended by my server and the mango ice cream with pistatios and a coffee to end with. The bread was tasty and not dense, the soup had a little heat from the ginger but was also very pleasant. The shrimp was delicious, served with rice, the sauce was wonderful. The mango ice cream was artistically displayed and very tasty. I also had ginger tea which was warming on a windy and cool day. The coffee was smooth and finished off the meal perfectly. It was my first meal in Lisbon, can't wait for more. Thank you.

Gostei muito do jantar. Jantar de grupo com amigos, só conseguimos reserva para as 21h. Comida de ótima qualidade, sendo que os nomes de alguns pratos são um pouco diferente do habitual dos restaurantes nepaleses, mas nada que estrague a experiência. O que jantei incluía entrada+prato+bebidas+cafés e ficou a rondar os 25€. restaurante muito bom, recomendarem :)

My picks: Lentil soup and the cheese white curry.
Only downside is sometimes it can get too crowded and noisy. If it's a quiet day or it doesn't bother you, you can enjoy the exquisite food in the nice atmosphere of the best nepalese restaurant in Lisbon.

Na minha lista há imenso tempo, lá decidimos ir no passado fim de semana. Desde logo, o ambiente e atendimento merecem nota máxima, todos muito simpáticos. Pedimos o korma de vegetais e o frango masala. Estavam ambos bastante bons, com destaque para o frango, que quase derretia na boca. Pedimos também uma chamuça de vegetais a qual estava deliciosa. O preço é um pouco elevado, mas a qualidade é boa. Confesso que sendo fã de korma nunca tinha comido um assim, mas não estava mau, simplesmente diferente daquilo a que estou acostumada. Por outro lado o frango tinha aquele sabor de assado no carvão característico da comida tradicional. Muito bom. Possivelmente volte mas apenas numa ocasião especial.

Nice Nepalese themed restaurant with the typical dishes you find in most other Nepalese restaurants.
You can additionally find some vegetable and Paneer (Indian fresh cheese) based vegetarian options not always available everywhere else.
Staff is generally courteous and polite and the restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere even when crowded.
Can get busy even at diner time on weekdays.

Sempre considerei este o melhor restaurante nepales de Lisboa. Os pratos são bem confeccionados e com molho gostoso. Pode se escolher a intensidade do caril em cada prato. Quem gosta de comida nepalesa este é sem dúvida um local a visitar. Aconselho a reservar mesa sobretudo se o grupo for grande.

The service is good. I was explained about the food and the sauces. Being an Indian, I really liked the soft roti and curry suggested by the restaurant. I felt the cost was above average. But otherwise the food is good , spicy and tasty. Try it

The service was fantastic and as it was our first time we were given advice. You can have a choice of spicy heat in your food and medium was hot enough for me. Free dips were included and a sample food to go with them. A complimentary local port was provided after the meal. I have given 5 stars but some of the chicken in one portion was less than prime. I would go again but we are leaving Lisbon today.

The food was very tasty and spiced up to each personal liking. Upfront couvert of 1.9€/person included a starter which I didn't particularly enjoy, some sort of samosa and a dumpling with dips. The inside is very fancy looking, makes it a bit scary to enter. There is a lot of staff and they have a tendency to hover around and ask how you like the food a lot etc, which is quite annoying/intrusive. Definitely better once the restaurant fills with people, from maybe 20:30 onwards - so definitely recommend booking ahead and going during primetime.

Best indian restaurant in Lisbon. Don't order very high spice levels, this is a really authentic Nepalese restaurants where the food is generally spicy. Definitely try their chilli rotis, shrimp and chicken curries. Coconut curry can be avoided.

Acabei a jantar por acaso neste restaurante. Foi uma muito boa surpresa. A comida é boa e há muitas opções no menu. O restaurante não é muito grande, mas há espaço suficiente entre as mesas para ninguém se sentir apertado ou incomodado. A relação qualidade - preço é, igualmente boa. Há parques de estacionamento próximos. A classificação do restaurante justifica-se.

Espaço acolhedor e bem decorado embora a decoração não seja tipicamente nepalesa. Funcionários muito atenciosos, sendo prestaveis sem se tornarem repetitivos e constantes. Parece-me haver um responsável por cada mesa mas todos passam e servem conseguindo estar coordenados e portanto eficazes.
A comida é muito agradável com sabores bem marcados e distintos. Considero a quantidade por dose totalmente suficiente e o preço adequado. Apenas as sobremesas, apesar de muito boas, me pareceram ter um preço um pouco elevado.
Irei sem dúvida tornar este num restaurante a frequentar sempre que me apetecerem sabores fora da rotina.

If you want something different from Portuguese cuisine, head on to this authentic Indian/Nepalese Restaurant. The ambience is 5 star, service is impeccable and food is heavenly.
The starters which is served upon arrival (u hv to pay for it -typical in Portugal) was a perfect start. The momos were well seasoned and the skin is thin. The fried mashed potato starters is also wow. The sauces that goes with it just adds to the delicious flavour. We then ordered the mains - prawns and goat curry. Out of this world.
Highly recommended. One of the best places with reasonable price quality ratio!

Fiz um jantar de grupo de aniversário com 14 pessoas e foi a 1° vez que experimentamos gastronomia nepalesa e ficámos surpreendidos pela positiva. A comida estava muito boa, os srs. tiveram o cuidado de perguntar se queríamos picante na nossa comida, quando chegou a sobremesa esta estava divinal. À experiência dou 4 estrelas, não posso dar 5, porque mesmo com mesa marcada tivemos de esperar 20min. Bom preço, ambiente moderno e acolhedor.

We have been to CN several times as we consider the food to be outstanding. Latest visit confirmed this. We had Chicken with Curry and Pineapple and Shrimp in Curry Sauce with spices. All served with rice.
One think we disliked is that they suddenly appeared with couvert , later charged on the bill. I am not sure but I do not recollect that this was mentioned in the menu.
Should we not be informed that the couvert served is charged. This is stated in the Portuguese consumer law.

Amazing food I had the chilly prawns and chilly and ginger roti. The spice was bang on. I asked for hot and it was like we make at home, no extra chilly required. My partner had lamb curry and rice, with rice pudding as dessert.
This small restaurant had really welcoming staff, and really quick service from Krishna.

Having been to Nepal in 2019, we were up for some Nepalese food after almost a year since we don't have many Nepalese restaurants nearby where live. We booked a table for 2 at 7 p.m. on the same day. We hoped to get some good Momos (steamed dumplings, our favorites) and leave the place happily, but we got more than that.
The interior design is lovely with passion for detail. It reminded us of a Nepalese cabin with replicas of carved wooden windows and typical paintings you could see anywhere in Nepal. It gave us a feeling of being right there, with all the typical smells of spices and even the waiters dressed in traditional clothes.
The dishes on the menu were not exclusively Nepalese. Some of them had a Portuguese twist as far as we could tell (e.g. dishes with prawns), which is not completely unusual if you are located in Portugal and want to please the locals as well as possible.
However, we tried to order only food we knew from Nepal and we got the most authentic experience since having been there. We had Momos, two different kinds of rotis, two coal grill dishes, the dessert tasting for two and a Masala chai. And really everything tasted exactly as it did in Nepal (which is why we ordered so much in the end). Our considerate waiter, Krishna, was happy to hear that we liked it so much and we talked about Nepal and the places we've been to, needless to say. Nepalese people enjoy showing you their country and culture, so don't be afraid to ask for recommendations concerning the food if you haven't tried it before!
It might not have been as cheap as in Nepal, but being from Germany the prices were at a more than reasonable level considering the quality and the service. We were asked if we wanted the appetizer and were informed that it would be on the bill. However, the special wine we were served at the end was for free.
We appreciate having been there and should we have another stay in Lisbon, we will definitely visit Casa Nepalesa again.

Fui hace un par de semanas con 2 amigas. Nos atendieron muy bien y rápidamente.
Le pedimos unas sugerencias al camarero y nos ayudo mucho a la hora de elegir platos. Nos pedimos el pan de queso y luego los entrantes que ellos traen de principio. Cooo principal el pollo recomendado y de postre mis amigas comieron unos helados que según ellas estaban muy bien.
Sin lugar a dudas en su sitio al cual volver en lisboa, sobretodo si quieres comer comida Nepalesa auténtica.

Foi a primeira vez que fui a um restaurante de cozinha Nepalesa, e gostei muito da experiencia. As entradas uma bela de uma "Chamuça" e mais umas coisinhas. Tem um molho muito muito podente que nem a "Herdade dos Grous" conseguiu apagar uma lagrima. Gostei muito principalmente do "Borrego com Caril". Para voltar a repetir sem dúvida alguma.

Os pratos não são bem servidos. O pessoal não tem formação que justifique o preço alto das refeições. Lista de vinhos muito inflacionada relativamente ao real custo dos vinhos. Existem pois outras opções de melhor qualidade e substancialmente mais baratas.

Atmosphere was nice, and you can tell it's quite a popular spot for people. I personally thought the food was ok - it tended to be a tad too sweet for me, and priced a bit higher than probably merited.
The couvert was a potato/veg pancake and a curry meat dumpling - both weren't bad. We also ordered pakora app, and it was good. For dinner, we had a variety of paneer, chicken, and veg dishes along with a veg fried rice. It was all not bad - just nothing stuck out for me flavor-wise.
We ended up paying the most here out of all of our meals in Portugal - 1 app, 4 entrees, 1 rice, and 1 bottle of wine. Again, everything wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing either.

We ate in this restaurant only one time. Amazing experience. The foods was really good with balance tastes and flavors. Very different to Indian food. The dishes surprised us thanks to the good quality and cooking experience. Place very accurate and beautiful. The service was unexpected. High level and kind. Honest price (we took a starters, typical bread, two main dishes and one dessert and we spent 36€ in total). I suggest you to booked a place.

The food was very good and similar to the indian kitchen, with various sauces, spices and rice included in the menu: we tried a lentile soup, and 3 different chicken dishes and all were great. We had a green/verde wine and it was again very good.

Es un pequeño restaurante de comida típica Nepalí, muy sazonada y picante, así que si no te gustan los sabores fuertes avisa al camarero antes de hacer el pedido. De todas formas los camareros tienen la amabilidad de avisarte. El local es limpio y agradable y la comida deliciosa, muy bien preparada y acompañada, generalmente, por un cuenco de arroz, Un sitio muy recomendable.

Diria que este restaurante nepalês distingue-se dos demais por se notar de imediato a frescura e qualidade dos produtos /ingredientes. Não tem aquele travo, que torna o sabor da maioria dos outros restaurantes, parecido. Embora também goste desse sabor.
Sou grande fã de toda a comida indiana, goesa e nepalesa, especialmente goesa, o que faz com que ache suave a intensidade dos molhos /ingredientes deste restaurante.
Serviço simpático e profissional, preços normais para este tipo de restauração e localização. Só não gostei de ter reservado, e quando chegámos ainda tivemos que esperar mais de 15 minutos. O restaurante não é grande, mas como tem grande afluência, há sempre pessoas a sair e entrar,
às 21h 30m não guardaram mesa, esperaram pela saída de outros clientes.

Excelente experiência, repetida. A comida é excelente e a dificuldade começa com a escolha, com uma quantidade enorme de opções - apetecíveis - disponíveis. As entradas e todas as opções, vegetarianas ou não, são interessantes. At first sight the 4.6 rating seemed hard to be true for a Nepalese food restaurant but after having lunch at Casa Nepalesa I can tell you they deserve 5 stars. The food is perfect, the staff very friendly and the decoration is good. A casual ambiance, not quiet but not loud. The food is really good, one of the best Indian/Nepalese food I’ve ever had. A must go.

Went here for dinner. We had no reservation for a table but the awesome friendly staff found a nice table next to the window. We ordered the tasting Thali menu and was very satisfied with the food. Ended the meal with the dessert tasting menu that contained 3 different desserts. With all this we had a bottle of green wine. This place is not the cheapest in Lisbon but the quality and service make it all worth it. Recommended!

As a Nepalese travelling around Europe, I would say this is the best one I've ever been to. The food is very authentic, decorations and ambiance inside was amazing, friendly staff, and oh, did I mention, the food was spectacular. This is such a good choice for dinner in Lisbon. We didn't have a reservation but we were there at 7 when it opened and we got a table. The place quickly filled up so I suggest making a reservation or arriving early. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The service is impeccable, and the food was the best I've eaten while in Lisbon. I suggest also ordering some bread because that was really good too with the sauces: the garlic bread , homemade cheese bread and chilli bread were our choices, all delicious. As for the main courses, we ordered chicken, pork and prawns and they were all great, but I recommend the prawn masala.

Nice service, though they did totally omit my starter of prawns from the order which was a bit of a shame. Good gin choices but good grief do they like to overdo the ice, tonic and garnish. Quite small. Was packed when I had lunch. Maybe 30 covers? Decor seemed to make a decent and tasteful attempt at the exposed stone walls and ornate ironwork you'd associate with Nepal. Well worth a visit.

Loved it! All the food we ordered was perfect and they adjust the spice level to suit.
One slight criticism, if you prefer your G&T to taste of gin ask them not to drown it in tonic (they also added 1 or 2 limes to the glass which was overkill imo).
