Repasando recuerdos de mi viaje a Lisboa en 2017 encontré la tarjeta de este local. Simplemente genial, tengo recuerdos que fue una gran cena y que el mánager nos atendió personalmente y hasta charlamos un poco. Volveré!

Fez 2 anos o Tabernário do Bairro e o seu responsável, Luís Filipe Pereira, surpreendeu-nos com umas ostras do rio Sado.
Chegou à mesa, um prato misto de ostras e não coloquei logo o limão, para tentar identificar os sabores doce, mineral, metal, cobre e claro, salgado ou oceânico. Para provar os sabores mais complexos e doces, que estão para lá do choque inicial da água do mar, é preciso mastigar as ostras antes de a engolir. No caso das ostras ao natural, os sabores azedos como o do limão ou o vinagre, atenuam a salinidade da ostra e destacam a doçura.
Do natural ao rábano com ketchup picante, e do kiwi com flor de sal ao Mignonette de chalota, constituiram uma excelente combinação para a qual, as ostras contribuíram para harmonização com um excelente vinho verde 100% Avesso (Baião) e um espumante da caves Messias.
Para terminar, foi-nos apresentado um prego de vazia dos Açores, bem temperado e no ponto perfeito.

What a find! Give it a try! This is definitely a hidden gem in Lisbon. We luckily found this place on our first night in Lisbon and have talked about it non-stop during our week trip in Portugal. Such a friendly staff to say the least that really goes above and beyond the normal customer experience! The menu is absolutely amazing with a superb wine selection. The owners definitely make you feel at home and welcome, especially for English speakers worried about going to a local restaurant. The veal stew is a must try! If you can call ahead, I recommend doing so. I highly recommend this place.

Sehr netter Service. Das war es aber auch. Der Fisch ertrank im Öl und hatte einen unangenehmen chlorigen Beigeschmack. Der Tomatensalat war lieblos zusammenschnippelt und ungewürzt. Die Suppe geschmacklos und langweilig. Unglaublich schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Loved this quaint place! The food was simple, but delicious. Felipe was hospitable and very knowledgeable about food and wine and made us feel at home! Truly an unforgettable experience.

Wow, what a great place! This is not a Tasca, but a (very) small restaurant with pretty ambitious cooking and great wines. The food was excellent (blood sausage as starters, fish dishes, hmmm) and the service was extremely attentive and had us taste all kinds of wine next to our actual bottle. You can find cheaper food elsewhere (we paid about €60 for starter + 2 mains + desert + wine + digestif), but for the quality and intimacy, this is a steal. Probably the best dinner experience in Lisbon so far. Will come again, no doubt.

What a delight! We stumbled upon this tiny restaurant and we were very pleasantly surprised! The service is nice and attentive and the food is very good. We had the codfish liver as an appetiser and the stingray steak as a main and both were perfect. The wine suggested to us was not bad at all either. We’ll try to come back again.

This is a small restaurant in a slightly tatty neighbour. The food and service is superb. The decor is simple but nice with a pleasant ambience and a good selection of nice wines. I have eaten in many good restaurants in Lisbon, this is undoubtedly one of the best. Highly recommend! The restaurant is run by the owner who is superb and very attentive. Great food chooses daily. I eat in this restaurant many times a the month and never once faulted any of the dishes. Excellent selection of wine as well.

Heel klein restaurantje. Kleine kaart maar heel fijn en alles vers. Een hele lieve ober die alle ingrediënten over de wijntjes en gerechten leuk komt vertellen. Hij pakt zelfs de kaart erbij om te laten zien uit welk plaatsje de wijn komt.

It started with a very warm welcome; followed by an exquisite choice of food. The owner guided us through the menu to make up a splendid meal accompanied by a wonderful wine. We will be going back there as often as our stay in Lisbon allows!

Il proprietario di una gentilezza e attenzione UNICHE, avevo chiesto se ci fossero una coca zero e un tè freddo per me e la mia amica, dopo averci detto che aveva solo bevande tipiche portoghesi (giustamente!), è uscito a comprarci le bevande che avevamo chiesto in principio.
Quando alle pietanze, ottima ottima qualità, cibo “fatto a casa”. Accolte con antipasto non richiesto, davvero spero che abbiamo serate piene tutti i giorni!

Delicious restaurant to eat at. When ordering the meat choose medium which would be equivalent to our medium rare in the states. Great host and very welcoming . They even help us with local tips.

Very lovely place with friendly/family atmosphere. Great food thanks to the chef Carolina and for very reasonable price. Don't forget to try their orange creme brulee. It s really great to be there where you can see people offering their services with love. 100% recommended!

During our stay in Lisboa, we visited the restaurant twice. The waiter is one of the friendliest persons I've ever met. He was very attentive and can describe everything to you. They have a lot of good wines, just trust the waiter, he knows what is best to fit to your meal. Everything we ate was very tasty. The restaurant is very small but also very authentic and lovely decorated. Everything was at an accessible price.

What an amazing restaurant. Never in my life have I been met with such hospitality. We wanted olives but they didn’t have any. That is until the owner, Phillipe, went down the street to buy some from the store just for our table.
This place mixes traditional with contemporary.
Venue is nice and clean.
And of course the food was incredible.
I’d come back here in a heartbeat.

Hemos ido porque estamos alojados cerca, pero ha sido todo un acierto. El local es muy pequeñito pero muy acogedor. Productos de calidad y un trato exquisito por parte de los dueños. Hemos comido genial y a buen precio (22€ x persona aprox.). Vale la pena dejarse aconsejar tanto en la comida como en la extensa carta de vinos. Y no os perdáis los postres caseros, ¡La tarta de manzana casi me hace llorar de la emoción!

I get a lot of friends who live abroad visiting me in Lisbon and always take them here. Owner Luis has genuine care for the food and wine he serves, and is really commited to good flavoursome ingredients and great wines that are kind on the wallet. All my guest feel so welcome when I take them to this restaurant. Carolina cooks all the food with such great commitment and gusto. whether you're with friends or solo (I eat here on my own several times a month) you often feel part of a little family here. A good mix of traditional ingredients with a contemporary twist, which surprises and delights your palate, instead of the obvious tourist fare. I love it!

Très très bon petit restaurant (attention seulement 5 ou 6 tables donc il vaut mieux appeler). Nous y sommes allés 2 fois en 3 jours. Les produits sont frais et excellents, tout est fait maison et très bien cuisiné. Mais ce qu'il faut surtout souligner, c'est la générosité du gérant et son envie de vous faire découvrir la gastronomie portugaise, n'hésitant pas à vous offrir des choses à boire et à manger pour vous faire goûter. L'adresse que je recommande le plus à Lisbonne.

Very friendly service and wonderful food. My wife had the delicious swordfish, served with onions and turnip greens on the side. I had a tasty zuccini stew with a poached egg. I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed it. Especially with the great wine pairing suggested by the owner. We normally don't eat dessert. However, on this special occasion we decided to splurge and really stretch our bellies by having the almond cake which is highly recommended and my wife had drunken pears, making a wonderful concoction.
