Very very dirty (especially the covers, pillows, matress and bedclothes!!!) very cold (there is not any air conditioner in the room). There was always problem with toilet paper. 39 Euro per night is definitive to much for this room.

The worst hostel I have been in my life First off they sent me a wrong address then I called them asking for help and a misformed attendant took almost 30 min to discovered that they made a mistake.Hold on because it’s not the only thing.When I finally arrived in the place I saw the bathroom on my floor was closed and I should go to the 2nd floor to use that.I went to the bathroom and there was a “river”,everywhere was wet and looked disgusting. Plus the WiFi doesn’t in the room at all,only on the corridor The room is cold DO NOT COME TO HAPPY RECEPTION HOSTEL

Really nice place to stay, in the center of the city, everything is close, but that means that you will probably hear the noise from the street. But I can't complain, they sent me an email about everything I should expect at their place and they were really honest about everything. It's nice, clean and it has everything you need if you are staying for a few days. There is a kitchen(ette) you can use, but on my floor was no kitchener, so I had to make my scrambled eggs in a microwave, but again they never said they have full kitchen so I really can't complain , but just so you know of you're staying here. The bathroom is shared, but there are multiple bathrooms so we didn't have problems with that. If you have any questions or problems you can always text them via whatsapp or email, their response is quick or you can ask housekeepers they are happy to help. IMPORTANT! If the code of your room is not working when you're trying to check in don't panic, just text them right away and they will send you the new code, it happened to me too, it's not a big deal really.

Je me suis retrouvé pris dehors à ma dernière journée car le code de porte extérieur avait changé... Cela m'a fait manquer mon avion. J'ai demandé un remboursement et je n'ai jamais eu aucun retour sur ma demande.

We had to book the hostel quite fast (for two nights) and this is the only good thing about this place, its easy to get in. You will receive a pin-code for all doors and that is. If you have any problems you can get in touch with the personal via whatsapp but it seems like it depends on the topic if they are willed to answer your questions… So we didn't got any key (except a pin-code) for our (thin, wooden) door which was not safe at all (and in a pretty bad condition). Also, our room looked totally different than on the photos. Same Situation in the Bathroom/Toilet. Mold in the shower and on the ceiling, cheap furniture and stains wherever you look. So we decided to leave for dinner and come back later just to sleep but this wasn't possible at all. I'm quite used to noisy places and I know that the area around Bairro Alto is not quite during nighttime (and that's not the Hostels fault). But there were so many drunken people inside of the hostel, crying, screaming and shouting all night long and no one to stop them. Besides this, the walls are super thin (like paper) and we were forced to hear the sounds of slamming doors and the pin-machines for the rest of the night. So in the morning we got in touch with the Hostel (via whatsapp) and described our problems to them and that we would like to get a refund for that night and leave. They told us, that the room looked so different because they bought a new bed one week ago (we checked the mattress & pillows after that, so old, so many spots and stains…) and that noise like that is normal. Also, they told us that we would only get a refund for the next night if they were able to rent to room to someone else. When I confronted the hostel with the pictures (of our room and the bathroom) I took during our stay they stopped answering me, so we decided to leave that place immediately afterwards because we didn't felt safe and well treated at all. After that I handled this case over to Airbnb (thanks again) and they were able to help me in a good way. To be honest, I can't understand why people are okay with a hostel like this today. For sure, it is not that expensive but for me its just trash-tourism. A few years ago, Lisbon was famous for really good and excellent hostels but these times are over.

Veeery convenient place! People working there are very helpful, the place is clean and tidy. Rooms and bathrooms are very nice and cozy as well. As it is in the centre so it is close everywhere! Highly recommend! ;)

A relação preço qualidade é realmente absurda, funcionários bastante simpáticos e prestáveis.

Péssima experiência, péssimo lugar, péssimo atendimento. Banheiro um nojo, tem uma cozinha que os próprios funcionários usam e ficam no andar dos quartos, da 7hs da manhã eles já estão lá fazendo barulho com panela e batendo papo do lado dos quartos ontem tem hóspede dormindo. Uma falta de respeito absurda com os hóspedes. Nunca indicarei.

O sitio é bom, mas nos estuvimos dois dias e falamos com um empregado para solicitar sair um bocado mais tarde, o empregado falou que sem problema, mas depois cobrarom 25 euros no banco. Nos fomos embora as 11,e eles tem escrito noa posters que a multa por check out late é a patir das 13. Nos ficamos muito chateados com eles, é uma vergonha

Venho várias vezes a Lisboa, e nada melhor pela a localização e preço ... Atendimento fantástico e fácil de agendamento

They entered the room at the very first minute of the check-out. Knocking and instantly opening the door without letting any responding time. I was naked and getting dress. That's kind of funny but very unprofessional environment overall.

Para dormir unos dos días está bien, si no tenes problema con lo simple, y está un poco descuidado. Para los que van muy cargado solo hay escaleras. No recomiendo si llegas con muchas maletas y cansado.

We stayed here for 2 nights and frankly, it wasn’t bad. The buildings in these area are mostly old and so is this hostel so you cant really complain if the doors are not perfectly fitting the door frame anymore. We didn’t find any bed bugs too. Our room is quit big and we have one fridge inside. The gate is always open but we didn’t feel unsafe as there is another door which requires pin access. There are 2 WC in our floor (2nd floor). Some people are messy when they use the WC and you can’t really blame the hostel. They clean twice a day as per the note written on the wall. There is a bar/restaurant downstairs and there might be some people talking loudly during the night but they will eventually leave at some point. The location is near to popular tourists spot. And finally, the receptionist/admin was constantly asking if everything is fine. I don’t usually write reviews but I did this review to reciprocate all the bad reviews written here. I recommend it.

CUIDADO!! Unos estafadores, venden las habitaciones varias veces y cuando llegas a la habitación ya está ocupada. Te dicen que te devuelven el dinero y nunca más lo vuelves a ver teniendo que coger otra habitación en otro hotel si no quieres quedarte tirado.

I'll just be repetitive with the other reviews. The hostel is not clean and it's probably one of the worst place to stay in in Lisbon. If you have an alternative, I'd strongly suggest to choose the alternative.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who has at least a little self-respect. The place is extremely dirty, there is no staff, so nobody to complain. If you call them they are just ignoring you.

The conditions in this hostel are horrible. This place has bed bugs and they know about it! After the complaint they said they are not going to refund or do anything. They refused to talk and said "Good bye and good luck"

The room is super stylish and the location couldn’t be better. But no Staff on location. Room was almost impossible to open (key lock box broken). So that’s annoying when there’s no staff on location. One bathroom with toilet for the entire floor.. and check out at 10 am..? Why so early?

hostel approx. small rooms with basic equipment. narrow corridors, terrible noise from the street. easy to get to the room - information is understandable. definitely too expensive compared to quality. !

Not a real hostel, instructions to get into room aren't clear, private room has one window facing into a bar so no privacy. Two showers for the whole building. No reception so no one there to help with things to do in the city. Not worth the money

Le stanze sono state rinnovate con un arredamento molto di buon gusto, ma gli infissi sono molto vecchi e i rumori provengono da ovunque. La posizione è perfetta per chi vuole alloggiare nel barrio alto, di giorno e di notte. La pulizia non è frequente, ma il personale è molto disponibile per ogni necessità. Il sunto è che qualità/prezzo è troppo sproporzionato, per l'offerta attuale, che è molto 'di base' dovrebbero tenere un prezzo più basso, oppure migliorare i servizi.
