Espaço leve, descomplicado, casual, fluído com música e muito bom ambiente, uma atmosfera cheia de movimento numa localização privilegiada para diversão. Desde logo é a primeira impressão que causa. O conceito é um bar e tasca muito clean com vários pratos do Médio Oriente para partilhar. A comida é muito saborosa e aditiva, desde os pratos de vegetais, grãos, espumas de queijo, carnes com as suas especiarias e ervas frescas acompanhados com pão pita bem quente. Tudo se conjuga neste espaço, diverti-me imenso. E como se não bastasse a carta dos cocktais originais é altamente tentadora. Tudo isto a culminar com um atendimento tão simpático e funcional.

I tried Fares for the first time and it was a really great experience ! "Middle eastern tavern" fits the description of the place really well. It was very cosy and the decoration is stands out really well in comparison to other restaurant in the area ! I tried the "Basil smash" cocktail even though I am not a cocktail fan, this one is really worth it ! I then ordered the cauliflower, the smoked eggplant carpaccio and the Halloumi fries which are my personal favourite ! The last thing I ordered was the braised lamb which is slow cooked for 6 hours and has a lot of flavour. I was very pleased by my this "Tavern" and I definitely come back here with friends or even alone! keep it up Fares :)

What a discovery ! Best place in Lisboa if you want to have a chill night around super tasty tapas and delicious cocktails ! it feels just like home ! I highly recommend Fares restaurant to anyone coming by Lisboa! (big crush for the cauliflower)

Excellent beer and great quality middle eastern food! Just don't expect huge quantities. Good service, too and a lovely atmosphere.

A great new addition to the Lisbon night scene. Casual, sharing plates of modern middle eastern classics with interesting twists and a well thought out cocktail list. Not more or less than a collection that requires all to be tried. Start at the beetroot pisco sour and don’t miss the crispy artichokes or melt-in-your-mouth slow cooked lamb. Cool interior, nice tunes, friendly staff, and a super easy location to stumble upon.

Adoreiiiiiii <3 Ambiente festivo, comida deliciosamente aditiva e com sabores únicos! Pedimos três mezzes para dividir, sendo dois deles vegetarianos: o Hummus com grão de bico torrado (mistura de texturas interessantes), a couve-flor grelhada (divinal!) e a cassolette de carne picada (recomendo). A repetir sem qualquer dúvida!!

Very nice trendy place in the Cais do Sodre area. Middle eastern food very well prepared and presented I would definitely recommend this place if you want to have a great time in a laid back atmosphere.

What a great discovery! Really nice concept of delicious plates to share. They also propose really good & original cocktails and their own home made infused tequila! We tasted them at the end of our meal, it was surprising!

Really nice place with a great/warm vibe. We had a few amazing cocktails with some really good plates to share. I would definitely recommend the falafels and humous with artichokes (special of the moment).

Stumbled upon this place after the resturant we were aiming for was closed, and I'm so glad we did! The Middle Eastern small plate menu was absolutely delicious, all around €5-8. Between three of us we ordered six, which was a good amount. Food was presented nicely, served quickly and was probably the best meal we had in four days in Lisbon. Cool interior and our waitress was absolutely lovely too. Probably well over half the menu is vegetarian, and a small craft beer is €2.50.

due to the good reviews on here we (two of us) thought it was a good idea to get some food at this place. i can not complain about the quality of the food, it was really not that bad. we ordered falafel, halloumi and a humus plate with artichokes. we got served 4 small falafel, 6 small sticks of halloumi and a very tiny plate of humus. we paid 23 Euros and left the restaurant with an almost empty stomach. still hungry we had pizza at another place half an hour after eating here! in our view this is a tourist trap, we would not recommend going there! OVERPRICED!!!

Bonne cuisine, copieuse, les prix sont plutôt français que portugais. Les serveurs sont très sympa et le lieu chouette !

We ordered the brunch menu and it was absolutely delicious!! But what I liked even more is that almost everything is vegetarian and they use reusable, ecological (like the straws, and idea would be pasta straws?) materials. Even the meat ballsx came on plant-based materials, really creative and just for this I would come back again. Thank you :) #Lisboagreencity2020

One of the best original cocktail menus I’ve been lucky enough to drink from. Great service throughout and an execution of drinks that is above and beyond you’ll find anywhere else in Lisbon. Sit at the bar and chat snooker.

Que te cobren 3 euros por un café con leche es UN ATRACO. Nose si por ser extranjeros o cuál fue el motivo. Me pareció una vergüenza. Aquí os adjunto el ticket para que veáis que no miento nada. 2 cafés con leche y un cortado = 7.80

Local agradável, com bom ambiente, ideal para frequentar em dias menos agitados. Gostei da opção de mojito.

I went there for brunch ( 16 Euros) and the amount of food is extremely generous an nice of flavour. The restaurant is really small it has 4 tables and like 2 bars so it's better to call and make a reservation. One thing to keep in mind is that there are only 2 waiters and they don't have the capacity to serve all the people. In our case they weren't able to bring all the drinks together some came after we end eating and the waitress almost didn't take the order of another person that came in late because the kitchen was over it's capacity. The 3 is just for the service but the food is nice and I would recommend it.

Nourriture excellente, service impeccable. Parfait pour boire un verre (cocktails très bons je conseille) ou manger (maximum 4 personnes)

Great place all around. The staff is always nice and the food is very tasty. Very cool atmosphere in this tiny space with dimmed lighting and a middle eastern vibe. It's easy to get carried away with the ordering as most dishes are small bites - may result in a hefty bill. Cocktails are excellent but at close to 10€ a pop, that's pushing it a bit in Lisbon. Great place to come in small groups and share a few plates in a cosy atmosphere. Recommended.

Had a cocktail here and had to go back a few nights later, so fresh and delicious. Didn't try the food but it looked good also. Veru small so don't be surprised if there's no seats though. A cocktail here will cost 6-9 euros

Fares Bar is quite unique with amazing food quality. Extra points por the charismatic barman Ramon! Great drinks and cool vibe.

As you enter Fares, the establishment immediately strikes you with welcoming and charming service, very intimate interior that creates the perfect environment for enlightening conversation with a partner or a group of friends, and an anticipation of that delicious creamy hummus and haloumi cheese. They do have excellent cocktails (and I am usually a wine drinker) which I highly recommend you to try. The selection of drinks is light, well-thought, and high quality. I tried a cocktail with fresh rosemary and tequila and it was fresh, interesting, nicely decorated and just delicious. Hummus and pita are very fresh and delicate, and appear to be homemade. And what can be better than a warm pita right out of oven?! This time we tried hummus with braised lamb and let me tell you... Looking very unpretentious, this dish is true highlight. If you eat lamb, don't skill it here. Soft, juicy, falling of the bones, bursting with a myriad of subtle middle eastern herbs and spices... I'll be coming back for me.

Everything around this place is amazing! The food is fresh, everything is homemade, and you can taste it! Service and atmosphere are also excellent - all in all: combination of a small, crowded space with chilled music, fresh food & precise drink is what lissabon should be all about! We WILL come back some day! :-)
