Ik heb hier een partij een lekker stuk vlees gehad joh. Het was onbeschrijfelijk lekker gemarineerd en eerlijk waar, het smelt op de tong. Toen ik dit vlees voor het eerst proefde heb ik vanuit Lissabon zonder na te denken gelijk mijn vader in Nederland gebeld, waar het op dat moment 12 uur 's nachts was, om hem in detail te vertellen hoe lekker het was. Zonder gein 10 op een schaal van 10.

Pratos deliciosos. Bacalhau confitado e lombo de salmão são os meus prediletos. Lugar aconchegante, intimista. Atendimento muito bom. Destaque para Alina e Ksenia: ucranianas bem-educadas e com ótimo português.

Estuvimos a comer y nos gustó mucho. También muy buen servicio. Los precios muy bien. El café está buenísimo, no dejéis de tomarlo y buenos postres!! Recomendable. Situado en todo el centro de calles paralelas a tus Augusta.

Soupe et pâtes aux gambas excellent.
Resto sympa....nous sommes restés à l intérieur et nous avons eu raison, un moment très agréable avec musique jazzy pour récupérer du tumulte de Lisbonne.

Hemos cenado allí dos días ( 29 y 30 de abril 2019) y los dos días hemos cenado fenomenal y con un precio muy bueno para ser Lisboa y estar en el centro. Recomiendo la ensalada de atún a la plancha con sésamo, el risotto negro y la crumble de manzana.

Average food, only one wine per color for the glass option, bathroom was not checked often it appeared, very cold, city center prices. For three people ~70€ (drink, entree, desert). Menus in all kinds of languages, though.

봉골레 파스타, 대구와 버섯이 들어간 빠에야, 햄버거와 샹그리아 1L를 먹었어요
빠에야 간이 세긴 했지만 맛있었는데
잣, 버섯, 대구 이런게 들어가서 그런지 건강죽 맛이었어요
샹그리아도 약간 계피향이 나면서 독특하고 맛있었어요
근데 음식 나오는데 20분도 넘게 걸렸고
식당 내부에는 파리가 날아다녀서 불편했어요
가실거면 식당 앞 테라스에 앉는 걸 추천해요

False advertising: My wife and I stopped in for a coffee. The posted price was 2.50 each. When I got the bill it was 6.00. They said the milk was 0.50 extra, but no-where on the menu was it listed.
Check the price before you order and make sure it is what the advertised price is!

I ordered the chicken supreme and I have honestly never had chicken that was so dry and overcooked. The bread appetizer was very dry cold bread. Sausage and cheese board appetizer was ok, but the sausage was so fatty that it tasted like eating a wax candle. Service was good, but with food that bad I still have to give it one star.

If you are really hungry, don't go here because the portions are rather small. Compared to other restaurants this place is not the cheapest and I expected more of the food. It was presented really nicely, but didn't taste very well. I like my own risotto better, and I don't even like cooking.
The sangria was really nice though, so the sangria helped this place get 3 stars.

Tische schön eingedeckt. Gerichte sehr ansprechend angerichtet.
Allerdings schmeckte die Zwiebelsoße schon sehr nach Knorr Fertigsoße, das Iberico teilweise etwas hart...
Für die Lage in der Touristenecke trotzdem ein gelungener, schöner Abend.
Den 4. Stern gibt es für den netten Service, die schön eingedeckten Tische und die zentrale Lage:-)

La nourriture est excellente nous avons pris des salades très bonnes et assiettes copieuses.Mais le service est mauvais venant de Celien je ne sais pas si c’est la patronne mais elle n’a aucun sourire et fortement antipathique et de plus indécent pour un service à la clientèle. Pauvres employés qui sont très gentils et qui subissent sa mauvaise humeur. Service très lent si vous avez faim allez ailleurs !!

Scelto per caso tra i locali vicino a casa....piacevole sorpresa....ottimo servizio...piatti curati e ottimi, personale cordiale e molto gentile....prezzi onesti per la qualità del servizio e la bontà dei piatti......unica pecca che non mi ha fatto dare 5☆,eravamo nei tavoli esterni e forse un pò più di luce per poter gustare anche con gli occhi quello che abbiamo gustato col palato.....CONSIGLIATO

Ok but very very focused for the tourists. Nice enough and a step above some of the other places around that is for sure. But small serves that are a bit pricey in comparison. Nice staff, particularly with kids, but they do seem a little under staffed as getting the attention of someone rushed off their feet is difficult at times. Management seems to be standing around lots while the staff never stop.

La nourriture est bonne et le personnel est sympathique.
Attention avec les boissons toutefois.
Avant même d'être assis, on vous incite à commander de l'eau « voulez-vous de l'eau ? ».
Trois personnes (serveuse, serveur, cuisinier...) viennent tour à tour insister pour remplacer notre commande de deux verres de sangria par un pichet... quand on en demande le prix, des sourires, mais aucune réponse précise... Finalement, ce pichet s'avère en fait bien plus cher.
Enfin, nous avions commandé deux verres de vin blanc, le moins cher de la carte. Nous avons été facturés (et on nous a vraisemblablement servi) le plus cher...
Ce n'est pas honnête :(

El sitio es un encanto y los platos están muy cuidados y ricos. lo que añadiría sería una carta en Castellano para aquellas personas que no saben portugues e inglés. Lo demás estupendo, nos pusieron una chica que entendía nuestro idioma y nos ayudo con la carta, gracias Inés. Un sitio que recomiendo para visitar.

Great service however the food was quite average. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms which had way too much salt in it that we had to leave it. Had the salmon and octopus which lacked seasoning and tasted very average for the price.
Paid 50 Euros for a starter, two glasses of wine, salmon and octopus. Not worth it.

Très bon restaurant portugais au coeur du centre de Lisbonne.
Pour ma part la brandade de morue était délicieuse.
Le personnel a été accueillant et serviable.
Je recommande ce restaurant !

Хорошее место с приятной атмосферой. Интересное меню и достойная винная карта.
Персоналу заняло много времени ( около 10 минут ) чтобы подойти и принять у нас заказ , может быть это из за того что ресторан был полон посетителей .
Но блюда вышли с кухни быстро и были вкусными !
Пожалуй единственным недостатком было то что когда открывалась входная дверь холодный воздух проникал в ресторан и было достаточно некомфортно, в особенности тем кто сидел в близости к двери .

Wonderful dinner. We arrived close to 6pm and had the inside to ourselves for most of the dinner on a Saturday night. We had the octopus and pork leg proceeded by the french onion soup. Desert was "pineapple world" (English translation) and the chocolate cake. Everything was delicious and the service was attentive but not over-bearing. All-in-all probably the best meal we had while in Lisbon for 10 days.

Dreadful service and below average food. VERY overpriced. The service is abysmal. Too many staff but no one wants to actually serve customers. I ordered a mozzarella salad and asked for some balsamic vinegar to dress it. Was told I needed to pay for the vinegar separately? There are so many restaurants around- don’t make the mistake of going here!

Un bon restaurant et une belle salle. De bons produits et un accueil de qualité. Les plats sont bons, bien préparés et bien présentés. On peut déguster des spécialités locales d'un bon niveau comparé aux restaurants touristiques du secteur.

El local está bien situado, y no es el típico restaurante de turistas de las calles de al lado. Es tranquilo y hay un buen ambiente.
Yo pedí un bacalhau á bras y mi pareja un rissoto nero com choco e tinta de choco. Mi bacalao estaba bueno y me gustó, el problema fue el rissoto. En ningún sitio ponía que llevaba queso, y ese fue el problema, el plato sabía SOLO a queso. El choco era uno muy pequeño cortado en trocitos que había que buscar para encontrarlo (cuando en teoría era el ingrediente principal). El color, lejos del negro de la tinta que suele tener este tipo de platos, era blanco-grisáceo. El plato quedó sin comer, era puro queso.
El camarero joven que nos atendió fue muy atento, pero el encargado, que fue el que nos retiró los platos, vio que el risotto estaba entero y no preguntó si había habido algún problema o algo mal.
En resumen, el local está bien, pero el rissoto no lo recomendamos ni de lejos.

Nous avons très bien mangé dans ce restaurant où le service est rapide. C'est agréable de trouver ce type de restaurant dans ce quartier où l'on trouve énormément d'attrapes touristes... Je recommande !

Tres bonne adresse, j y suis retourné plus d’une fois, bien que perdu au milieu des attrapes touristes, c est peut etre un des seul endroit dans le quartier Augusta ou le personnel n a pas besoin de vous alpaguer, le personnel est tres sympatique, je recommande le filet de bar et surtout le vin blanc sec santa Amarelo ( 16 euro la bouteille) ,juste un seul bémol, j ai reçu le tartare de thon a la place du tartare de saumon , en dehors de ça restaurant pas trop chers et j ai du gouté tous le splats de la carte 5 fois mangés la bas en 2 séjours , Bravo Em Alta Na Baixa, la courtoisie de vos serveuses en feront revenir plus d un ( miss in blue chef de rang + tous le personnel du midi)

I had my food by my self while my family watched waiting for their dishes to come, 45min later when i wasn't hungry any longer was my turn to watch my family eat, the staff didnt recognize thir mistake on the poor table service, can't recommend as the overpriced food and poor service didnt deliver a decent meal/time for with my family

Charmantes Restaurant drinnen mit herrlicher Atmosphäre, lächelnder und dabei zügiger Bedienung und sehr gutem Essen. Draußen ist die Umgebung nicht so attraktiv. Große Auswahl von Fischgerichten! Wir waren 2 mal dort und können somit 4 verschiedene Gerichte beurteilen, 2 mal Fisch und 2 mal Geflügel. Das Essen war von ausgezeichneter Qualität - sehr schmackhaft und preisgünstig.

Average food, comparable prices - OK but not recommend. Odd Ceasar salad - tomato, chicken and sardine flavored salami with a heavy dressing and lots of grated mozzarella- is this the usual local interpretation? Add in a wine cooler that rattled its bottles - a back ground noise easily overlooked, but once noticed could not be ignored, made this a dining experience I will not seek to repeat . Service was very nice.

Wij hebben met 5 vaders en 5 zonen heerlijk gegeten in dit leuke restaurant. Eten was goed en de wijn voortreffelijk. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam met als extra vermelding de aardige Mow die ons op leuke en professionele heeft geadviseerd en bediend. Ik beveel dit restaurant zeker aan.

We went to Em Alta Na Baixa for a dinner. We stumbled upon this restaurant when we were eating at Bacalhau Com Todos (owned by same people).
The restaurant is done up well, the menu has a lot of varieties. Try their Portugese specialties & sangria for a memorable dinner.
In vegetarian food, they do have some good variation as well. Try their Risotto & Pasta, they are delicious!

Pedimos un bacalao a bras (receta tipica portuguesa) y un risotto de calamar en su tinta. Muy bueno todo y una atención excelente. Bonita decoración, se crea un ambiente acogedor. Buena relación calidad-precio. Muy recomanable!

during our trip in lisbon, we were not expecting much at this touristic area, where servers keep trying talking to you. but we did chose this place to have a lunch ..not only we were hungry, but the guy was very friendly. it is very recommended to the travellers as they have menus in different language. we had rice with cod fish and it was very delicious !

Lokal czysty, obsługa bardzo miła (odnosi okrycia wierzchnie do szatni), wybór dań umiarkowany ale są dania z makaronu, ryb i mięsa (jest też kilka dań dla wegetarian). Polecam jako startery krewetki z sosem czosnkowym oraz tatara z tuńczyka. Z dań obiadowych bardzo smacze są: ośmiornica, pieczony łosoś oraz makaron z krewetkami. Do steków podawane są ziemniaczane chipsy - jest to raczej wyrób masowy a nie własna produkcja. Steki są ok.
Dość duży wybór dobrych win.
Lokal i kuchnia jak najbardxiej godne polecenia.

Friendly people, very tasty food. We had a good burger and black risotto. Much better than the restaurants nearby where they drag you inside. Unfortunately my wife had a small stone in her food. Accidents do happen and they offered us our deserts for free. That we appreciated. All in all we had traditional cheese and bread plus four main courses plus drinks for under 80 euro with polite service. So 4 stars.

Dans un cadre qui se veut soigné, ou pseudo-branché, nous avons mangé des plats insipides, à la viande peu identifiable (porc? Beauf? Mélangés mixés dans un hamburger), du poisson clairement trop salé, même pour de la morue, et une responsable de salle légèrement tyrannique... Les serveurs demeurent efficaces et accueillants cependant.

Malgré un joli cadre, la nourriture est fade, peu variée, chère et les patrons pas agréables du tout. Très décevant pour un restaurant de cette gamme. Avons dû avancer 80€ à l'avance et rien n'était réservé... Ne pas y aller !!

Had a simply delicious 6 course Xmas Eve meal for only 40 Euros per person. The waiter was very nice. We sat outside but were next to two heaters. The restaurant also provided blankets.

We had an excellent dinner and wine here. This is a genuinely good restaurant...Not the typical tourist trap. Great location near Rossio square. We a great waiter, Ghenadie, who gave us a great wine recommendation and helped us navigate the menu. The service, food and ambiance were all excellent. I highly recommend this place. One of the best in the city!

Excellent service! the food is delicious and also side dishes. We stayed 4 nights in Lisboa and we took our first dinner at this restaurant but then last afternoon we decided to repeat. This is an international food restaurant with a terrace on a pedestarian street. You should try salmon there! Prices are medium-high but it compansates with food and service quality. Special thanks to Sergio for all his complete profesional attention on seving us on our dinner and help on Lisbon trip notes during our. Also thanks to Alejandro. (hope I wrote names well).

Complimenti al cameriere con il compito di "accalappiare" clienti che si è posto in modo molto generoso e rispettoso (cosa che gli altri ristoranti non fanno). I piatti erano tradizionali e buoni anche il locale molto bello. Ma le 5 stelle sono soprattutto per il servizio impeccabile e cortese!

While definitely one of the pricier tourist aimed restaurants in the Baixa, pay the premium! It's got a great view of the area, without being right in the middle of foot traffic. The food is very good, but it is a little more expensive then other options in the neighborhood.

Great restaurant, delicious food. Young and friendly waiters - English speaking. English menu was available - I cannot understand some of the other (negative) comments. Prices were approx. + 2-3 € higher compared to restaurants at Intendente where mostly local people can be found in restaurants.
I can recommend this restaurant and I would come back (when being in town).
