Rip off! Food wasn’t even good. They bring you bread and cheese at the table (even if you don’t ask for it) and it ends up being 12 euros on your bill without you even knowing it!
Left with a bad taste and bad experience overall.

Nice restaurant, great location, and friendly staff. Sardines were well cooked and served with fresh salad and boiled potatoes. Orange juice was fresh and full of flavour.

Aspettato un'ora per poi ricevere 4 piatti tutti insieme e tutto stracotto (il riso era una pappa) il pesce era scadente la carne decente, ma ormai era fredda. 60€ non mi rivedranno. Se potessi 0 stelle

No coração de Lisboa, devido a algumas experiencias más nas redondezas entrámos com um pé atrás, surpresa positiva, atendimento muito competente e simpatia na medida, aconselharam o bacalhau e sem dúvida um bom concelho! Bela refeição, de repetir!

The food was decent. Omelet seemed a bit undercooked, clams are good but too small, pork was alright, chicken could have been bigger. Our waiter was very friendly however, please beware of the scam a lot of European small restaurants do. They bring gifts to your table without ordering and charge you for it at the end. You need to decline it as soon as they bring it for you to pay the appropriate amount. Nice dinner, but would not come again.

Посмотрев на количество людей и персонал - не поверили отзывам и присели, как оказалось - зря. Взяли два блюда, попробовали, расплатились, встали и ушли. Креветки в чесночном масле - резиновые, каракатица на гриле тоже передержана + гриль был не чистый из-за чего блюдо имело горький/подгоревший запах и вкус

This restaurant will never put Portuguese cuisine at the state it should be. It was cold, very poor in terms of quality of ingredients (mainly defrost) , service and not so tasty. Without mentioning the exorbitant price that was asked for that. Please respect Portuguese and choose an other place to discover and enjoy the traditional meals of this great country elsewhere than in this tourist trap!

Jantamos no Restaurante Santiago meio que por acaso. Tentamos inicialmente um restaurante que nos tinha sido recomendado mas, como não tínhamos feito reserva, não conseguimos jantar nele. Um dos funcionários desse restaurante nos indicou o Restaurante Santiago cujo dono era o pai dele e, com a nossa concordância, fez uma reserva. Fomos muito bem recebidos com a nossa mesa já pronta. Tudo foi muito bom desde o atendimento à comida. Jantamos de entrada Amêijoas à Bolhão Pato e como prato principal um maravilhoso Pregado frito com arroz de amêijoas. Acompanhamos com um Vinho Monte Velho e terminamos com sobremesas regionais diversas.

Very small portions. I ordered 1/2 chicken, but got far less. They put appetizers on the table that we didn't order and we had to pay for them. Would never go there again.

The food is tasty, the portions are big (one was enough for two people), but the restaurant itself has an outdated feel to it. They would benefit if they redecorated the place, as it is a bit uninviting as it is.

Restaurante muy pequeño y nada agradable. Servicio pésimo, calidad de la comida bastante mala, lo que pedimos (calamar y pulpo) eran congelados y te lo cobran como fresco. No lo recomiendo.

Très mauvaise expérience...
On a pris en entrée les « crevettes frits à l’ail » pour 16€. On a été très choqués quand le plat est arrivé, 10 pauvres crevettes congelées et toutes petites..... pour 15€?? Et en plus d’après le patron c’était des gambas???
Je ne vous recommande en aucun cas ce restaurant, les produits ne sont pas du tout frais, on l’a vu de nos propres yeux puisqu’on a dîné à côté de la cuisine.
Les prix sont bien trop élevés pour la qualité médiocre des produits et des plats proposés!

Produits pas frais , malade pendant 3 jours !
10 crevettes pour 16 € le patron imbuvable et insultant envers les clients . Après 5 jours au Portugal c’est le pire repas qu’on est passé .
On voit les plats congelés remonter dans les mains de commis et placer directement sur le barbecue .

This was disgusting! The chicken was literally so salty, it watered my eyes. The salmon was ok, and the mixed grill was also disgosting!! We asked for our meat well done and it was al red. Never eat here! Worst place to eat ... ever!

Absolument irresponsable et cher. En plus de raccoler dans la rue ils serbser des produits pas frais. Nous avons commandé des crabes. Le serveur nous présente deux belles pièces vivantes. Quand nous les avons recr fandnotre assiette le goût etaét rance d'un animal préparé la veille. Mon beau frère a fait un scandale. On nous a ramené un troisième crabe qui enfin etaét mangeable. Ce qui prouve bien que l'objectif est de piéger le touriste avec des produits de mauvaise qualité. Après tout le touriste n'est pas un client qui par définition pourrait devenir régulier.
Fuyez les restaurants raccoleurs et les zones à touristes !!!

Very bad place, expensive, charging you for very bad anchovy paste, butter piece, cheese piece that they bring you (that you never asked for). Tried explaining to the chef that ribs needed boiling first but... no luck. Bad food, server spoke French first then, when we complained, could not longer speak French, got another guy to speak English with us but no luck with him either... Love Portugal but that is the worst meal we had in 10 days

Péssimo! Péssima qualidade, muito mal confeccionado. Arroz polvo impossível, secretos porco com mais gordura que carne, picanha tostada. Tudo muito mau, para além de doses mal servidas, o que se percebe uma vez que ninguém vai comer. Atendimento péssimo a roçar má educação. A nunca regressar.

Ho ordinato la paella, che non ho neanche toccato poiché c’era solo della cipolla immangiabile, il cameriere che vede il piatto ancora pieno che gli dico portare via, mi chiede anche se voglio i dessert e non ci propone neanche uno sconto.

Ristoranti mangiare e quali no e guardate più siti, xk alcuni sono fuorvianti.
Non posso dare meno di 1 stella sennò darei -5 per la qualità e per come siamo stati trattati.

Avoid this place the food is horrible and not tasty at all. We arrived at 7 and the food was served 1 h later and it was basically cold.
Watch out cause the service is not included ( to us they took 8£) and the prices are really high: 1 L of water costs 4.80 euros and 1 beer too. Further more the brea

Muito fraco, os pratos vieram com intervalos muito distantes. Esqueceram-se de um deles. A comida sem sabor. Enfim... E os preços elevadíssimos... Não recomendo a ninguém.

Do 1 stella perché non posso dare 0 stelle...
Partiamo dall inizio...paella che assolutamente non è fresca e dal riso che è assolutamente scotto cioè riscaldato..baccalà, piatto tipico tra l'altro, al forno che la metà era bruciato..Quello fritto dal sapore veramente strano..E nn vado oltre..È Dulcis in fondo il conto..107 euro per 3 paella,3 baccalà 1 riso il bianco 1 acqua e 1l di sangria..veramente veramente eccessivo eccesso x quello mangiato assolutamente non corretto..Al momento del conto in un fazzoletto da naso (ebbene si) mi hanno chiesto 117 euro alludendo ad un servizio Mai avvenuto..assolutamente rifiutato di darglieli ma cmq conto eccessivo..purtroppo la gente disonesta e ingannevole è ovunque..
Assolutamente sconsigliato.

My advice - absolutely stay away from this place. It’s pricey and food is awful. As a matter of fact squid was tainted and I ask for replacement, cuttlefish was equally inedible. Same as octopus. Bottom line it was one of my worst dining’s experiences ever!

Pior restaurante de Lisboa. O pior atendimento. O maior roubo.
Comida sem sabor, arroz de polvo com dois tentáculos de polvo, o resto só arroz.
Até a bebida sabia mal, Ice Tea com a validade a terminar. Pediu-se também uma garrafa de vinho e trazem um copo de vinho de pressão.

Friendly staff. Inedible food - had to send my codfish back because it was clearly defrosted then cooked, and then reheated just before service. Very chewy and dry.

The worst restaurant I have ever eaten. The staff is friendly, but I will not recommend it for anyone ever. The meat was absulotely inedible. Not only was it chewy but the spices were also very bad.

The quality and the quantity of the food was great, but they took too long to bring us the food. It was a little bit pricey but thats due the zone, and as i said the quality and the quantity was pretty good. Good coffe as always here in Lisbon.

Service was average, food was just not edible. The owners of this restaurant need to review their menu and the quality of the ingredients going in. Unfortunately non of our several mains and entrees had any quality. Go to mcdonalds, they will have better food than this disgraceful place.

Nous avions l habitude depuis 10 jours au Portugal d une petite mise en bouche gratuite
Quelle surprise lors de l addition avec plus de 30€ sur la note Nous avons fait part de notre mécontentement en indiquant qu elle aurait dû nous préciser que c était payant et surtout nous indiquer le prix
Un conseil éviter ce restaurant et allez en face ils sont plus honnêtes

Not worthy. The waitress approached us in the street to offer us the best food in the area, with no hidden extras,as she said that other restaurants take advantage on that. As we ordered the food, she came to the table with a plate of ham, plate of cheeses and basket of bread. I knew that restaurants in Lisbon offered little snacks, but I was aware you've got to pay for them, so I wasn't gonna touch them, however my daughter didn't know about it and ate some ham, so we ended that having to eat it. Food was quite average. Surprise came at the end, when the bill comes I see the charged 12.50 for that plate of ham! I'm glad we didn't touch the bread or cheeses, God knows how much they would have charged for that... As I was counting the money to pay the bill, the waitress was by my side and had the cheek to tell me that service wasn't included, so I had to leave her over 1 euro in tip, and I could tell she wasn't impressed... I think it's so unprofessional telling your customers that they have to leave a tip, I don't mind if the food and service was good, but I certainly wasn't planning to tip her. Place to avoid, they take advantage of tourists

Average food. Rude staff. The lady who took the order did not explain properly what comes with the meal. Later found surprises in the bill with extras added that we thought were included. Eg: She said meal comes with free rice.. then she asked do you want rice OR salad. We chose salad believing that we have an option to choose. Later meal came without rice... and salad was added to the bill. We asked why was salad charged when we swapped it with rice.. she responded rice was free but not the salad. Stupid! Then why do you give the option!? She was rude.. We tried to reason but I gave up and paid the bill.

It's a restaurant only, you can't ask only for beer/beverage. Once you decide staying to eat, there's plenty of space and tables/chairs are comfortable indeed. Meals are varied enough. We had several problems that made us decide NOT to return there nor recommend it: i) Meal and wine list show expensive prices, quality doesn't worth price. ii) Our meals were served COLD and needed to claim for return and heat them, not to mention they all showed lack of taste. iii) BEWARE OF THIS: some meals OUT OF LIST were served WITHOUT having been ordered nor having told us their cost in advance: cured ham, butter and marmalade needed to be explicitly rejected by us (had to ask prices of course); this is a bad practise to grab more money from tourists' budget! We'll never return to this place. Ban it!

Undercooked pork ribs I could see the blood. Rice so hard I couldn't chew. Me my wife and all 10 of us couldnt even finish half our food. Cold fries are met with responses like "ugh..u know too many customers". The only thing that was strictly ok was the chicken. Most horrible food during our trip. We were here on 31st night. And surely our last time.

We went there today for dinner. The waiters are abrasive and waited a long time for our orders. Even getting the check it took forever. Among our orders, only the grilled octupos I like the rest "No". The jamon is very salty and dry.They have a waiter that if you check their displayed menu outside, he ask you to come in. They even charge an automatic tip of 15 percent when service is bad. Don't come here.

I had the veal and mushrooms and my boyfriend had the steak and both were nicely cooked and big portions. They'll put down starters and they're not free so unless you want to pay for them don't eat them and ask them to take them away. That's a standard tourist trap in Portugal.

Ubicado en una zona de restaurantes turísticos, está todo dicho, creo...
Pecamos de idiotas, sabíamos donde nos metíamos pero, el cansancio después de un largo viaje, nos hizo aterrizar cerca del hotel...
Una buena baghette hubiese sido mejor. Mucho mejor !!!

Tilasin porsaan kripsejä, huomasin että ne olivat vielä ihan raakoja, kutsuin tarjoilijan joka sanoi että haluanko minä ne kypsinä, porsasta raakana, mikä muu ravintola sellaista tarjoaa. Tarjoilija vei lautaseni pois ja parinkymmenen minuutin jälkeen toi saman lautasen takaisin, ehkä lihoja oli hetken lämmitetty lisää mutta nyt koko ruoka oli jo kylmää. Tarjoilija tuli vielä kysymään että maistuiko, vastasin että ruoka oli ihan kylmää johon hän vain hymähti. Paska paikka, en suosittele kenellekään.

We were looking for a place to eat and we went to sit here. We ordered the grilled chicken and grilled goat. The goat was absolutely divine and I could really recommend it! The drinks are not expensive. The desserts are, but you get super sweet fruit in return. If I ever visit Lisbon again I will come back for the goat!

Razoável é o termo certo para descrever a experiência.
Comida razoável, que oscilou entre umas sardinhas excelentes e um bacalhau mal cozinhado.
Quanto ao serviço, tivemos sorte, com um empregado de mesa muito experiente, mas vi outros comensais serem brindados com colaboradores que basicamente não sabiam falar inglês. Qual a lógica de contratar alguém com quem não se consegue comunicar?

2 giorni in Portogallo stupendi, ma ovviamente le persone poco oneste si incontrano anche a Lisbona, ma partiamo con i dettagli; servizio orribile con personale scorbutico, ma il cambio di cameriere al tavolo ci distrae dal primo impatto pessimo e dal suggerimento di andarsene; dal cibo servito in un ristorante ti aspetti una cucina superiore alla media e scopriamo che tutto è surgelato e di pessima cottura; il conto il fiore all'occhiello del ristorante, non ordiniamo alcun aperitivo e nessun antipasto, ma vengono inserite voci in più per un piattino ( mi ripeto Non ordinato , ma presentato al tavolo) contenente del burro confezionato monodose (quello che ti presentano la mattina in albergo per internderci) 0,75 €+monodose di formaggio fuso ( vedesi monodose burro) 0,90€ + monodose di paté di sardine ( stavolta cambiamo genere non come il burro ma come la marmellata monodose) 0,90€ + monodose di formaggio caprino ( grosso quanto tutta la monodose della marmellata compreso l'involucro in allumimio per comprendere la grandezza € 3,50)....
Tutto questo show per pochi centesimi, una vergogna per i ristoratori in generale, ma soprattutto per l'essere umano

Dont even try! Horrible service! Very angry, agitated waiter! Before serving the main dishes, they brought aperitive WITHOUT INFORMING that we must PAY for what we did not order! The food was normal, nothing special! I am very disappointed!

L'àpat més recomanable de la zona és el d'A Provinciana però Santiago pot ser una alternativa gens menyspreable.
La seva carn és excel·lent i molt ben tractada. De totes maneres, a Lisboa es pot trobar fàcilment un arròs de marisc molt més bo que el que vam degustar a aquest restaurant.
Preu: mitjà. Servei: bo. Instal·lacions: molt correctes.

Mala experiencia. Comida mediocre. Lugar para turistas donde aprovechan cualquier ocasión para metertela doblada. Pedimos al final un par de chupitos de un licor local, nos dejamos aconsejar y la sorpresa fue en la cuenta 8 euros. En ocasiones ni los cobran pero aquí os aseguro que los cobran bien. Munca mais!
