Good Café close to the French ambassy! We had some coffee (espresso and galao), pasteis and other pastries. The food and coffee was good, plus we could sit outside in the sun! Lots of locals came in frequently. They had a coffee and small chat with the owner, so you get a authentic glimpse of the daily life of a lisboan

Se a ASAE fizesse bem o seu trabalho, este estabelecimento teria, muito provavelmente de mudar alguns aspectos estruturais. Os empregados ora fumam, ora com as mesmas mãos (e sem serem limpas) servem os clientes. Isto é só um exemplo da falta de higiene que se pode observar. Não cheguei a apreciar o que me serviram porque ja antes tinha ficado sem vontade ...

Venendo da una settimana a Porto, dove tutto è a misura d'uomo, per quanto ritenga Lisbona più bella, a Porto ho trovato molta più gentilezza e cortesia...ed anche il cibo per certi versi l'ho trovato più buono. Per quanto riguarda questo locale... Il cibo non l'ho trovato particolarmente meraviglioso. L'ho trovato uguale a quello di tanti altri posti simili, e leggermente inferiore ad alcuni altri. La citata cortesia e gentilezza poi... siamo ben lontani dai livelli di Porto. Altra roba.

The place seems very traditional. The service is friendly and the prices are quite fair. I recommend it, if you are looking for some local vibes.

Very cheap! The atmosphere is familiar quiet! One of my best breakfast ever. Large choiche of sweets and delicious brioches. There are a lot of local people. It's not a typical place for tourists. I like it!

Pasticceria eccezionale dal carattere tipicamente portoghese. Hanno tutti dolci tipici portoghesi e l'ambiente è familiare e accogliente. Personalmente, i migliori Pastel di Lisbona!

Na vier maanden in Lissabon gewoond te hebben kan ik zeggen dat ze hier de heerlijkste pastel de nata hebben. Sowieso een must try voor een ontbijt of lunch!! Alles is vers gemaakt in hun keuken, snelle vriendelijke bediening en je kan er lekker (buiten) zitten. Gaan!

Super good local bakery and Pastelaria that serves good sweet puffs / Pastels de nata and Espresso. 1 espresso costs 60 cents and the view of the pink Institut Francais from the chairs outside is cool. The bakery has menu boards in English and French. Secret local tip ;-)
