Non ci sono stato ma mi ha respinto per 2 volte 2 carte di credito classiche (no ricaricabili) che avevano molto credito a disposizione. Ho prenotato tramite booking. Faceva prima a dirmi che non voleva la mia famiglia di 6 persone. Non rispondono neanche alle mail di richiesta spiegazioni. Darò i miei soldi ad un'altra struttura di Lisbona più centrale e con un leggero sovrapprezzo. Avevo riservato 4 notti....

Очень милый и уютный гостевой дом (находится на четвёртом этаже, лифт). От метро несколько минут ходу. Предварительно сообщили когда приедем. Администратор ждал нас, дал карту, всё рассказал подробно куда, на чем передвигаться (по-английски). Номер очень красивый, матрац удобный, деревянный пол. Ставни на окнах. Везде плетенные половички. Чистота идеальная. Тишина. Никогда не было очереди в душ. На завтрак вкусные оладушки с вареньем, кофе, хлопья с молоком, хлеб и сыр, яблоки и апельсины. Есть общий холодильник. Но мы не готовили там, тк питались в городе в кафешках. Обязательно вернёмся в этот гостевой дом ещё и не один раз.

Local com o custo benefício muito bom. É pra quem não tem muitas exigências quanto à comodidades, pois o café da manhã muito básico e banheiros coletivos. É muito bem localizado, aconchegante e limpo. Os funcionários são educados e prestimosos. Foi uma experiência muito agradável.

Ist kein Luxus aber zum übernachten reicht es. Frühstück war ausreichend. Personal war nett. Die Lage war ziemlich gut (ca. 10 min. zum Meer). Zimmer wären ausgestattet mit Betten und schränken. Es gab ein gemeinschaftsbad mit Duschen Waschbecken und Toiletten. Es gibt eine Küche mit Eszimmer und ein Wohnzimmer mit Fernseher. Es gab auch genug Restaurants in der nähe. Parkplätze sind kostenlos. Es gibt eine U-Bahn Station ca.2 min. entfährnt. Ein Burger laden um die Ecke ist empfehlenswert. Alles zusammen und für den Preis war es gut

Very clean and nice hostel, close to the center of Lisbon. All the staff was very friendly and kind. Thanks for everything. I totally recomend it!!!

Hotel canceled my reservation just few days before, without any information, even after my few emails.

Clear, fair place with great value for money. Near to the metro and traian station. There is a train to Sintra. Breakfast is simple but enough.

This is a good hostel with a good breakfast. Great location. The noise from the streets at night was kind of loud though so bring ear plugs. I would stay here again.

I can corroborate my girlfriend Amy's story in the previous review and add some more detail, as José was not truthful in his response. I normally wouldn't be anywhere near so nitpicking but I think it's important to set the record straight, as this was a very unpleasant experience that shows a worrying side to the character of the owner of this hostel. José had agreed that we could check out at 1200, which we'd asked for earlier as we'd had quite a late night out enjoying our last evening in Lisbon and may have overdone it a bit. José agreed to this. All fine so far. At 1245, having slept through our alarm, we were woken by José knocking on our door. He was very, very angry, but this was our bad and we understand it was incredibly inconvenient for him as there were guests checking in to the room. I answered the door, was extremely apologetic and polite, and assured him that we would be out of the room in 15 minutes time. By 1300 we were packed and out of the room. Our suitcases and belongings were in the corridor. I was dressed, brushing my teeth, and my girlfriend was in the -communal- bathroom, wearing only a towel, to clean her teeth and get dressed. The important part here is that we had left the room. This is where José's behaviour crossed the line. He came storming down the corridor, shouting at her that we needed to get out of the hostel immediately - nevermind the fact that she was wearing only a towel. She did not ask, as José alleges, for a further 30 minutes - as we had already left the room. She politely asked only if she could quickly get dressed and ready to leave the hostel in the communal bathroom, where her stuff was. He angrily refused, ordered us to leave the hostel, and would not listen to her pleading to get her clothes and get dressed. In fact he wouldn't listen to anything my girlfriend or I said to him, as by this point he was seething with blind anger. He was stood in the doorway of the female bathroom - between her and her clothes, not letting her in, really quite livid with rage, ranting and shouting at her that he was going to call the police if she didn't leave immediately. He was very intimidating, and to be honest, somewhat scary for her. And all this after we had already left the room, which was now free to be prepared for the next guests! He didn't seem to mind that I was at the time in the male bathroom, brushing my teeth and getting ready, and he was nowhere near so rude to me. I'll leave you to interpret what that says about his attitude towards women. Again, I understand that we greatly inconvenienced him by being an hour late out of the room, but his behaviour was disproportionate and highly unprofessional. Shouting down like that into a young woman's face who was wearing only a towel, not letting her get dressed and trying to force her to leave the hostel (wearing only a towel? without her clothes?) left an very sour mark on what was otherwise a pleasant and calm stay in Lisbon. José will probably show up to dispute this version of events, as is to be expected of someone trying to get custom for their business. I wouldn't recommend staying somewhere the owner of which thinks it's acceptable, and defensible, to be so intimidating to his guests. If you read some of the other reviews of this place you will find other instances of him bullying his customers. Phew. Aside from all that, the hostel is decent. Bathrooms aren't in great condition and the showers are kind of broken. Complimentary breakfast was very nice, and the room was nice, airy, and clean. Beds not super comfortable but also not bad.

Das Hostel war mit Abstand das schlechteste auf unserer Portugal-Reise, und wir waren in einigen. Der Host war super unfreundlich, die Räume sind total lieblos eingerichtet und wirklich alles ist kaputt. Es gab keine einzige Tür die sich ordentlich schließen ließ. Einzig das Frühstück war OK.

I thought this place was really lovely - great location, good breakfast etc. Today (on our last day) we were an hour late checking out, and were met with absolute fury from Jose. Genuinely it was really intimidating- he shouted at me and got between me and my clothes while I was standing in a towel. He threatened to call the police as I tried to access my clothes. I understand that we shouldn't have been late checking out, however being met with this level of rage was shocking and upsetting. Will not be staying here again.

Aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen haben wir uns für dieses Hostel entschieden, doch leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Der Empfang war äußerst unfreundlich, sodass wir fast wieder gegangen wären! Nichts in dem Hostel hat richtig funktioniert, die Waschbecken waren verstopft, unsere Zimmertür ließ sich nicht richtig schließen und mein Sohn ist aus dem Hochbett gefallen, weil die seitliche Absperrung nur lose angebracht war!Wir waren vorher mehrere Wochen in Portugal in Hostels unterwegs und wissen, dass man keinen Hotelstandard erwarten darf, aber dieses Hostel war das Schlechteste auf unserer gesamten Reise!Allein die Lage ist wirklich gut und das Frühstück war auch nett zubereitet.

Buen dia Jose, lei la devolucion que hiciste a raiz de la opinion de mi experiencia en el Hostal . Mis criticas son constructivas y dejan entrever la posibilidad de cambios minimos , como por ejemplo iluminar el pasillo que conduce a las habitaciones ya que solo posee una lámpara al final del mismo y otras sugerencias que ya mencione y no vienen al caso .Tu respuesta contiene apreciaciones subjetivas hacia mi persona como por ejemplo que me equivoque de llave o que no me viste en el desayuno porque fue mi hermano y yo no, cuando en realidad fue a la inversa y el que no estaba para interactuar eras vos . Te comento que soy una persona grande que ha tenido la oportunidad de estar en lugares varios desde hoteles 5 estrellas a pensiones, soy de adaptarme a todo. Espero que entiendas que es una opinion y no un tema personal. PD te dejo pasar las faltas de ortografia ya que considero debes haber usado traductor a pesar de tener como lengua madre el español Buena vida Daniela Zosi

Overall we had a good experience here. The hostel is very well located and the people there are very friendly and happy to give you information about Lisbon and things to do/see. They also have a tasty breakfast offered each morning at 9am with very yummy pancakes. We had an issue that was promptly resolved by the manager which was great. The rooms dont have private bathrooms but the bathrooms were clean. Overall it was a good stay as they make you feel at home.

Es cómodo y está en una calle muy tranquila y no muy lejos del centro andando, el metro está muy cerca. El desayuno es bueno.

It was a nice cozy room with delicious breakfast. The location is perfect to visit Lisbon and reach trains, busses or metro. The only negative point was the shower. Very little water came out of it and as a girl with long hair it took forever to wash the hair. But all in all we had a nice stay.

On y est très bien accueilli. Cela ressemble à l'auberge espagnole, le matin au petit-déjeuner on y parle toutes les langues, c'est vraiment sympathique. Nous avions une chambre de 4, parfait. Les parties communes sont chaleureuses. Les toilettes et douches sont très propres . Quartier dynamique et surtout proche de lignes de métro et bus. 20 minutes de l'aéroport.

Établissement très bien situé, c’est en fait une auberge de jeunesse de 7/8 chambres « dans » un autre hôtel c’est assez drôle. Toilettes et douches sur le palier mais propres (2 douches femme, 3 douches homme) ; petit déjeuner servi de 8:30 à 10h assez simple mais faisant le job.Attention, c’est une auberge de jeunesse dans un « vieil » immeuble (bienvenue à Lisbonne) donc ce n’est pas totalement bien isolé, on entend le matin les autres chambres utilisées les douches etc mais pour des vacances, ça reste raisonnable !

Good location, nice GuestHouse, breakfast simple but good, delicious pancakes , the staff is wonderful. Thank you José, my wife and I love your tips about Lisbon not touristic. The only negative aspect, but not to do with Refuge in Santa Marta is we can't use the kitchen because, the family in room 107 used the kitchen every day and didn't clean it, they leave the kitchen very dirty. Unfortunately, there are people who do not respect the rules. Thanks José

Des gens bien, disponibles et souriants. Petit bémol au sujet de la structure en général avec des portes et une isolation quand même vieillissante... Mais nous sommes dans l'hyper centre et les chambres sont propres, les douches et sanitaires entretenus. Nous conseillons plutôt cet endroit pour les jeunes couples ou petites familles à la recherche d'une solution pour budget limité. Mais ce sera une bonne solution.

Local interessante com óptimas localização. O pequeno almoço gratuito podia ter mais variedade de bebidas e empregados mais prestàveia, infelizmente a gestão, como se vê por outros comentários, não parece estar muito interessada em aceitar críticas e tentar melhorar em resposta.

When I arrived the chap at the desk provided me with a city map and was kind enough to point out various places of interest and let me know what public transport would get me between them and the hostel, which saved me some Googling later.The room was nice - minimal, as one would expect - but the bed was comfy and there was enough storage space. The hostels on the fourth floor of a building so youre away from the noiseBreakfast is from 08:30-10:00 each morning. You get your own toast, cereal, fruit, and drinks and a member of staff cooks and serves (American) pancakes to those who want them. I was impressed with the quality.I had some reservations about using a shared bathroom but this was kept clean by staff and other guests. One of the two gents toilets had no lock on the door though, which made for some nervous experiences and is largely why Ive given 4 stars rather than 5.A common/living room is available for people younger and trendier than I to hang out in until 23:00. It looked nice and well maintained if slightly hipster (theres a typewriter in there).Overall this represented a welcoming and good value option for visiting Lisbon and Id probably visit again.

Um paraiso lindo, limpio, confortavel..e no coraçao de Lisboa.e todos os funcionarios ..queridos ,educados e acolhedor obrigado a todos o paraiso existe....

Reservamos habitación familiar de cuatro personas y ha sido decepcionante. Jose el administrador nos llamó por teléfono para confirmar la hora de llegada por la mañana, a pesar de haberla concretado por Booking. No tuvimos inconveniente de marcarle la hora exacta: 18:30 y él nos confirmó que habría una persona esperando entre las 18:30 y 19:30. Llegamos puntuales y allí no había nadie. Tuvimos que llamarle dos veces para que finalmente viniera otra persona a las 19:00. La habitación: no correspondía con lo que habíamos reservado: ni por asomo tenía 20 metros cuadrados, como mucho 14 mts y tiro largo, las camas en vez de ser de 90 mts eran de 80 mts, sin armario ni taquillas, sin ventilador, las sabanas y las mantas cortas, con unas almohadas para fastidiarse las cervicales, la alfombra un nido de polvo y vete tú a saber qué más, enchufes inutilizados con silicona y un alargo en uno de ellos para solucionar la papeleta, la parte superior de la puerta que es un cristal, tapada con madera para evitar la luz del pasillo pero sin conseguirlo, la ventana sin cortina con lo cual si quieres tenerla abierta para que entre un poco de aire por la noche tienes que soportar la luz que entra. Llamamos a José para decirle que esta no era la habitación que habíamos reservado por Booking, ni por las características ni por las fotografías. Lo primero que me dice es que por ese precio no vamos a encontrar nada más y que si no queremos quedarnos que nos vayamos, supongo que intentaba evitar a toda costa la publicación de un comentario negativo. Intento hacerle comprender que lo que no puede hacer es ofertar a un precio en Booking con características falsas independientemente del precio que tenga la habitación, y a partir de aquí ya no me deja hablar, me interrumpe continuamente con una falta de educación evidente, y empieza con el discurso típico de los que no saben por donde salirse: tú no sabes quién soy yo, es la primera vez que alguien se queja, ,,, estas dos frases las repitió como cuatro veces, no se si con la intención de convencerme de no sé qué o simplemente para tapar la realidad, eso si, intentó por todos los medios que nos fuéramos a lo cual no estábamos dispuestos y menos después de haber pagado y ser las 20:00 horas de la tarde con familia a cuestas. El baño compartido: al igual que todo el piso, con muchos detallitos pero con una falta evidente de gastarse nada en reparaciones aceptables, todo con apaños chapuceros, y lo más desagradable, con moho negro en la ducha, así que si decidís a pesar de todo venir al hostal, no olvidéis las chanclas si no queréis pillar algo en los pies. La noche: difícil dormir, nunca había estado en un albergue en que el suelo de parquet crujiera de esa manera, y ya no sólo en la habitación sino en todo el piso. Cualquiera que lo pisa provoca un crujido enorme que despierta al más dormilón. Desayuno: la chica que nos atendió bastante bien, pero que sepáis que si venís por los panqueques, no lo son: la masa es tipo bizcocho y además no te ofrecen sirope. Falta agua y zumos, y quizás algo más que no sean lonchas cuadradas de queso de sándwich. Yo desde luego no volveré en la vida, pero si os decidís no le llevéis la contra ni le pidáis alguna almohada más, porque sino veréis la desagradable cara de la otra cara de la moneda.

Ambiente acolhedor, funcionários educados e prestativos. Muito feliz com minha escolha e indico para famílias café da manhã simples e bem servido. Quartos amplos e confortáveis. Sinceramente espero voltar em uma próxima visita a Lisboa.

Tem alguns aspectos a melhorar entre eles a simpatia de alguns funcionários pois nós portugueses somos afáveis e algo que é muito nosso como latinos é a simpatia. Espero que vejam isto como uma critica construtiva pois tem tudo para ter as cinco estrelas, desde já a sua localização que é no centro da cidade logo tem um leque de transportes à escolha e ainda bem pois não tem Parque privativo. No caso de ter carro não é motivo de alarme pois existem Parques privados perto do mesmo.

This hostel is small but very cozy and personable. It was very clean and well maintained. The host was extremely on top of everything and made sure that everyone was quiet at night so everyone could get a good night's rest. He also gave us great tips on places to visit on our trip.

L'endroit est vraiment sympa. Chaleureux et bien situé. José nous accueille très bien. Petit bémol salle deau3et scolaire vraiment vieillots. On nous annonçait 1 salle d'eau et un scénario pour 4...nous étions 12. Même si tout s'est très bien passé, nous tenions à le signaler.

Vraiment un très bon rapport qualité prix. Lisbonne coûte un peu chère en hôtel. Mais nous ne somme pas déçu du refuge in Santa marta. Des prix défiant toutes concurrence. Le gérant est super sympa et très serviable. On y a passer 5 jour au top. Idéalement placé. Proche des transport en commun. Au bas de l'immeuble il y a une station de taxi. A 20 mètres un petit super marché. Boulangerie au bas de l'immeuble.

The good: The location of the hostel is excellent and the room was nice. The hostel is clean and the beds are comfy. It was not too loud. The bad: We were there in February, so it was a bit cold at night. We didnt like that we had to ask for everything at the reception, for example we had to ask to borrow the hair dryer every time we needed it. Also, breakfast was pretty bad (take into account that we come from a country where breakfast is a big meal, bigger than dinner). All in all, its a nice hostel

pretty nice stay for a couple of days. about 4 min walking to the nearest metro station. the 4 person rooms are big enough. one 2 person bed and one bunk bed. shared kitchen and bathroom but theyre comfortable enough. overall very good for the price. also the host is very nice

Santa Marta is in a great location close to but not on the main drag. It's a lovely converted 4 floor apartment with all the charm of yesteryear. The rooms are large and airy with (some of them) shutters opening over the street below. The last century details in the wood work of the ceilings and walls give the rooms extra personality. The owner and assistants were kind, personable and friendly.

Si quieres conocer el centro histórico de Lisboa, este hospedaje tiene buena ubicación, pero tienes que coordinar muy bien la hora para que encuentres al que te va a dar las llaves de la habitación y no tengas inconvenientes.

I had my first day in Portugal at Refuge Santa Marta, and I was very happy with this hostel. The owner of the hostel is super nice and kind. He provided me with valuable information on traveling Lisbon, which turned out to be very useful. The rooms are clean and spacious, and breakfast is great, considering the money I've paid. Some people complain about the toilet, but it wasn't a big deal to me. At least it's much more private than public toilets I use occasionally. Besides, it's just one time thing in a day. It takes 10 minutes walk to the downtown, which was fine for me. This place made me love Portugal even more, and I will definately visit this place again.

Bella casa a 5 minuti dalla fermata del metro stazione di Avenida. Appartamento adibito a guest house con stanze ampie e pulite. Possibilitá di usare la cucina e colazione compresa. Bagno condiviso ma funzionale e sempre pulito. Molto bello il salone con parquet originale.

eine super charmantes hostel mit toller lage. waren im 4 er zimmer mit balkon. tolle atmosphaere. sehr sauber.

Das Hostel liegt im 4 Stock des Gebäudes. Es ist ein Aufzug vorhanden. Das Personal ist super nett und hat sich wirklich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Da wir schon sehr früh dort waren, konnten wir unser Gepäck in einem extra Raum einschliessen und mussten somit nicht dort auf den CheckIn warten. Die Lage ist gut. Max. 10 Minuten zur Stadtmitte, wenn man sehr entpannt läuft. Das einzige Manko des Hostels ist die abendliche Lautstärke. Wenn man hohen Wert auf Ruhe legt, sollte man sich wo anders umschauen, denn es ist Teilweise bis 2 Uhr nachts sehr laut, was zum Teil an den Gästen aber zum anderen Teil auch am alten Gebäude und den knirschenden Türen und Boden liegt. Alles in einem : Tolles Hostel für diesen Preis. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Zentral gelegen, sehr gemütliche Zimmer und Aufenthaltsräume und jeden Morgen ein Frühstück inklusive. Jose ist supernett und nimmt sich viel Zeit für Tipps und Empfehlungen.

Das Hostel liegt ungefähr eine Minute vom berühmten Marques Pombal und somit der Nobelstraße Lissabons (Avenida da Liberdade) entfernt. Die Metrostation ist quasi direkt vor der Tür bzw. zu Fuß ist man in ca. 10min in der Innenstadt.Das zwischen 9 und 10h angebotene Frühstück war einfach aber gut und bereits im Preis vorhanden, ansonsten gibt es direkt vor der Tür mehrere Bäckereien bzw. Restaurants.Die Zimmer und das Bad waren einfach aber sauber, genauso wie die üblichen Räumlichkeiten (Küche, Aufenthaltsraum). Außerdem ist alles sehr schön designt und zurecht gemacht.Das Hostelpersonal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit - sei es bei der Organisation von Trips oder Erklärung der Stadtkarte.Alles in allem ein Hostel, das ich nur empfehlen kann. Bei meiner nächsten Reise nach Lissabon werde ich dort auf jeden Fall wieder übernachten

The hostal was very hard to find and when we did find it, it was under a completely different name - 'Golden Residence' does not seem to exist. There is a communal lounge area but it was closed off for a few days with no explanation (turns out they had guests/friends sleeping in there). The girl who runs the place seems to always have friends over; chatting loudly, doing each others hair in the lounge room etc. Not very professional. It said there was a TV in the double room but there was none. Big open room with lots of space and free wifi were positives. The pillows are not very comfy. Ok for budget travellers/backpackers as it is very cheap!
