Amazing tomato soup, great Salomon in wine sauce. Sardines wasn't cleaned inside and my husband didn't expect that and he ate this disgusting inside of the fish. Yuck. But otherwise food was delicious, waiter was very nice and talked a lot

Wir sind aufgrund der Bewertungen hin gefahren. Wir hatten Fisch und Pizza und hatten von beidem mehr erhofft. Die Bedienung ist allerdings tatsächlich sehr freundlich und gibt sich auch sprachlich viel Mühe.

Espaço de esplanada bastante agradável, com um staff muito atencioso, bem disposto e educado. Estava um dia de sol tipicamente algarvio a convidar para uma refeição ligeira. Optámos por saladas que, para além da sua excelente apresentação - forma e conteúdo - estavam deliciosas. Opção muito positiva. Recomendo.

Found this place, randomly, along our hike on the Seven Hanging Valley Trail. Friendly staff and fantastic food. You must get the shrimp piri piri. The food portions are big so come hungry. We got the Grilled Salmon and Beef Stroganoff and both were delicious. Definitely keep this place in mind along the trail.

The Saturday evening was quite busy for a February weekend. Lovely atmosphere with a roaring fire. Great service. My starter of prawns in garlic and piri-piri was amazing, I needed a spoon and bread to devour all of the sauce. Mains and desserts were also very good at a very fair price.

Einfache, lokale und gute Küche zu fairen Preisen. Service sehr freundlich und mehrsprachig.
Sind auf dem Wanderweg an den Klippen unterwegs gewesen und an diesem Punkt zurück zum ausgangsort gegangen. Und dann per Zufall zu diesem Restaurant gelangt.

Veniamos ilusionados por los comentarios, pero una decepción:
- no hay mucha variedad, lo primero que nos ofrecen es pizzas y pasta.
- platos grandes, pero no son para salir contentos. Yo pedí el plato de cerdo con champiñones: las patatas fritas de"paquete", la carne un tanto correosa y la sala tenía un regustillo raro... deje más de la mitad. Mi pareja el atún a la portuguesa, que era un filete de atún "zapatero", disimulado entre caldo y verduras, "con una o dos gambas decorativas" (comentario literal del camarero). Parece que tuvo suerte y le tocaron dos... lo mejor del plato.
- el sitio es un bar de carretera... literalmente tienes la carretera alado, menos mal que no pasan muchos coches.
Ah! Y no se puede pagar con tarjeta.

Lugar ideal para comer cerca de la playa de Bernagil. Platos típicos de Portugal, comida italiana, carnes y pescados. Variedad de postres caseros y helados. Facilidad de aparcamiento. Wifi gratis. Los camareros muy atentos. No aceptan tarjeta de crédito, solo efectivo.

Llegamos de casualidad y nos llevamos una grata sorpresa. Hay desde sándwich hasta platos tipicos elaborados. Recomiendo los langostinos piri piri y de postre el petit gateao.

Food and service was fantastic, the hospitality was great and the welcome as soon as you arrived was a perfect start to the evening. We had a variety of food from children's nuggets to fish dishes which were all so good. Will go back before we go home. Thankyou

J'allais mettre 4 mais j'ai attendu l'addition.
La pizza Hawaï était correct, disons normale. La salade de chèvre est vraiment bien, belle, bonne et garnie. Le lieu est bien, accueillant et assez calme comparé aux bord de plages pleins de voitures bruyantes et de touristes.
"Mais", 2 verres d'un vin blanc juste pas bon du tout; 8 euros... déçu de la surprise finale puisque le prix du vin au verre n'est pas affiché.
Je n'y serais pas revenu, je ne supporte pas être arnaqué de cette manière. Un verre de vin est vendu 1.60 a 2e en moyenne. Déçu

Lieu accueillant et salade très bonne. Pizza normal, par contre arnaque sur l alcool, 4 euros le verre de vin de base et pas bon . Prix qui n est pas affiché sur la carte et la surprise a la fin . Dommage déçu lors de la note .

Algunos comimos muy bien, otros no tanto, nos desilusiono mucho no poder comer caldeirada, hay que encargarlas un dia antes. El coste medio por persona unos 20€

This restaurant is amazing. The pizzas are to die for and the sangria is pretty to die for as well. we were welcomed and had the best waiter for our table (dont know his name) and it was just very very very decent. highly recommend it

Restaurant avec terrasse sympa, le service est très bien. Ce qu'on y mange est correct, préférez peut être le poisson aux autres types de plat. Nous avions pris un poisson qui malheureusement baignait dans la sauce. Si vous n'êtes pas un grand fan de sauce, demandez conseil aux serveurs !

La experiencia ha sido realmente buena. Desde el primer momento que llegamos nos causó buena impresión. Muy buena atención de todos los camareros, siempre muy atentos y simpáticos. Mientras eliges de la carta te presentan el género que servirán para que puedas elegir mejor. La calidad de la comida es muy buena y el precio muy razonable para lo bien que se come. Hay que tener en cuenta que no aceptan pago con tarjeta de crédito o débito por lo que solo se podrá pagar en efectivo. Puede que uno de los mejores sitios del algarve en calidad/precio

The restaurant cherry on top of an already fantastic day! It was our 5 minutes off of the Seven Hanging Valley Trail and was such an amazing stop. We had the seabass special and the avacado salad and both were perfect. Highly recommend stopping in for a bite, or at the very least having a coffee. what's great local Portuguese experience. Thank you!

Uno de los mejores lugares para ir a comer si vas a visitar las famosas playas y cuevas de Portimão. Comida de muy buena calidad, bastante variedad en platos y postres con un precio asequible y un trato estupendo.

Además de mala comida, caro. Nos pedimos filete de ternera al cuál le habían echado limón cuando venía con salsa de champiñones y pez espada que estaba más seco que el ojo de un tuerto.
Luego el trato al cliente deja mucho que desear, ya que después de haber comido allí se nos estropeó el coche y estuvimos delante del restaurante 1 hora hasta solucionarlo, mi pareja quiso entrar al servicio y ante mi sorpresa el camarero la echó del baño a gritos xq ya no eramos clientes y hace 1 hora estabamos sentados en la terraza. Me parece un trato despreciable e inhumano

Très bon moment passé dans ce restaurant aux allures de jardin, malgré le passage régulier de voitures à proximité. On a très bien mangé, les soupes sont excellentes et les desserts maisons à tomber. Le serveur est également très agréable.

Wir kamen um 21:00 Uhr ins Restaurant, wurden von der Chefin persönlich begrüßt und - da alle Tische belegt waren - gebeten, fünf Minuten zu warten, damit man ab- und neu eindecken kann. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, bot sogar den Fisch des Tages an, den man auch gezeigt bekam und sprach sowohl Englisch als auch Deutsch. Bestellt haben wir den gegrillten Schwertfisch (sehr lecker), das Portugiesische Steck (einfach nur phantastisch) und die gegrillte Hühnerbrust mit Gorgonzola Sauce. Das Essen wurde sehr prompt geliefert, wir haben uns bei dem Service hier sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt, vielen Dank!

This a tourist trap, why on earth this has 4.4 on Google is beyond me. We can eat a 1000 times better nearby with a better view and nicer service. While not expensive it is definitely not good.

El plato tenia un gusano y al decirle a la chica que no nos lo cobrara sin haber comido practicamente nada por las condiciones insalubres del mismo, se fue ha hablar con el cocinero y volvio con la intencion de que nos lo comieramos alegando que el gusano provenia del queso, y al volver a negarnos, se fue y practicamente nos tiro la cuenta en la mesa

El sitio es encantador, acogedor y tranquilo. Los camareros muy simpáticos y serviciales. La comida... ¡Deliciosa! Ese crepe con chocolate y bola de helado estaba increíble. Y el precio lo normal, unos 15€ por persona con la bebida incluida. Lo recomiendo al 100%, es el mejor sitio para escapar del bullicio de las playas y lugares más turísticos.

Wat een fijn restaurant is dit. 2 jaar geleden hier ook geweest en nu weer terug gekomen. Een fijne familie sfeer hangt hier. Het is altijd druk en een grote kaart met veel lekkers. Voor ieder wat wils. Een prima prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding. Ook lunchen kan je hier prima! Dichtbij de vuurtoren van Carvoeiro. Let op, op zondag gesloten.

Excellent food, and plenty of it! You even get shown the fresh fish on a plate before you decide. The chicken piri piri was really tasty. Would certainly eat there again.

Nice place and very popular. They managed to fit us even even though we hadn't reserved. Service was quite slow and not overall friendly - possibly because it was busy. The food took a long time to come out and our kids were getting very restless. Was very tasty and not overly expensive. apology

Nos gusto mucho el sitio, llegamos tarde para comer y estaba cerrando la cocina y nos atendieron. Los menus del dia muy buenos, y grandes los platos, sobre todo la sopa de tomate y verduras. Nos quedamos con las ganas de pedirles la receta. Volveremos a ir!

Comida excelente, atendimento idem. Atenção, pois, não aceita cartões, somente dinheiro. Recomendo o vongole "a lá Carlos". O prato infantil de spaguete com almôndegas dá para duas crianças pequenas. Bom pra ir com os pequenos.

Noch nie ist mir eine Bewertung so schwer gefallen, wie hier.
Die Plätze draußen sind wirklich schön, da sie zur Straße schön durch Hecken abgegrenzt sind.
Die Bedienung ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Das Brot mit der Butter, den Karotten und der Thunfisch-Creme war gut.
Wo ich ein Problem mit der Einordnung habe, ist das portugiesische Steak.
Das habe ich halt noch nie gegessen, und das, was ich darüber gelesen habe, weicht von dem hier erheblich ab.
Da liest man von viel Knoblauch, Eiern, knusprigem Speck.....
Anders hier, Knoblauch ist mir jetzt nicht so aufgefallen, meine Frau sagt, es wären viele Scheiben drin gewesen. Der Speck war Schinken, und der war alles andere als knusprig. Spiegelei war auch nicht vorhanden. Aber das ist sicher eine Sache der Interpretation.
Was mit aber gar nicht gefallen hat, war diese Riesenmenge an wässriger Soße, in der auch noch die "Pommes" geschwommen sind.
Ich bin nicht der totale Experte, was Fleisch angeht, ich möchte es auch nicht beschwören, wir hatten Filet bestellt. Rein von der Form, der Struktur und dem Durchwachsenen des Fleisch würde ich sagen, das war kein Filet, was wir da bekommen haben. Bezahlt haben wir natürlich Filet, aber wie gesagt, beschwören kann und will ich es nicht. Es macht mich aber stutzig.

Cuisine simple et authentique
Accueil très sympa et service très agréable tout au long du repas en français comme en anglais.
Nous vous recommandons les poissons et aussi la cataplana, une cuisine portugaise authentique et délicieuse.

Great service and generous portions of delicious food from a varied menu. Especially good if you like fish but plenty of options. You should book in advance (we did in the afternoon for that evening and got the last table for four) and bring cash - like lots of others they don't take cards
