I love this place! Super friendly owner who is passionate and in constant search of the best products and Mama in the kitchen is an AMAZING cook. This is real authentic cuisine of the highest level! Try the red house wine, so yummy! oh, and the pork dishes and the octopus salad... mmh!!!

It was definitely my favorite restaurant during my stay in Lisbon. I ended up staying almost 3 hours trying the different kinds of food and everything tasted amazing. Thank you!

My husband and I had the best experience at this quaint restaurant located in the heart of the Alfama neighborhood in Lisbon, Portugal. We were eating dinner a bit early for dinner time for the locals, so it was not busy, but it was great because we got VIP attention. The owner served us like we were friends or family of his. He explained the history behind each traditional dish, which we very much enjoyed. His mother was the chef if the back making all if the food and we drank wine made by his cousin. The food was phenomenal as well. We left there very full. We highly recommend!!

Alfama 63 is very special gem in Lisbon. A true family restaurant with genuine traditional food. All made by Natalia while you’re hosted by Nuno her son. It’s a relaxed fun place where you mingle with locals and always end up having good chats.

Best traditional portuguese cuisine in lisbon! Octopus rice it s amazing as for the shrimps and the breaded seafood! The owner knows all about surfing and football!!! Must go place if you want a real cosy portuguese place, and if you want to have a party

We go here every time we are in Lisbon. Mama is an excellent cook, and her kitchen is immaculate! The food is fresh and delicious. The little olives Nuno serves are the best I've ever had. Super friendly place where everyone just talks to each other and has a great time. Do not miss it!

Favorite restaurant in Lisbon hands down. You feel like part of the family and the food is amazing. Run by a mother and son team. The food is made with love and worthy of a high end restaurant. Frequented by locals and tourists alike and lots of word of mouth business. You may stay much longer than expected and everyone that visits is very friendly. Great bar selection. A real gem in Alfama. This place is a must, lots of return customers.

The host and his mom are quite lovely. Their house wine is made by his cousin. The food is delicious, feels home made. All fresh ingredients too!

This restaurant is AMAZING! Nuno owns it and his mom Natalie cooks all the food. They have terrific service and terrific food. Great local charm! We had so many of the items on the menu and loved every dish. You will not be disappointed if you go!
