GREAT surf school and nice shop! I took some surf lessons there in October. They have small classes (4-6 people), so they can really focus on you. When I was there, Luiz was our coach. He was fantastic! He gave me a lot of valuable advice how to improve my technique. I doubt you get that kind of individual feedback, if you choose one of the bigger schools in town. (Their classes are much bigger!) You can rent boards and wetsuits in the shop, too. The staff is very friendly and will give you great advice where to go, what time, how to find good surf and so on. If you're looking for a more personal experience, you should definitely check out this school!!

Great experience with Waterbound! Rented boards and suits, both in good condition. The guys knows their stuff, and happily adviced us on everything from locations, weather conditions and gear, to villages to visit and even restaurants. Will recommend!!
