little cafe in cascais-close to the beach... good food - i loved the brownies! i didnt like so much the cappuccino but the rest i loved.

Delicious salad and vegetarian wrap, freshly prepared and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a healthy bite.

Very cozy inside as well as outside. Very friendly staff. Nice restrooms. Right by the train station. We stopped here for breakfast on our day trip to Cascais. The smoothies and acai bowls are highly recommended. Lots of pastries, too. Enough space to sit relaxed and work with a laptop as well. Free WiFi.

Good food and coffee. Lots of vegan, veggie options. Staff are really friendly and nice....though always seem to be new and lack knowledge of the menu (3 seperate visits over a period of 6months...) Quite expensive... so not any everyday coffee place ...but a good place to do work ...and the outside area is nice when its sunny.

Café com um bom conceito. No entanto muito caro e com pouca qualidade. As tostas de abacate vieram em pão de forma. E é preciso pagar 1.5 euros extra para ter iogurte vegan.. Num café vegan.

Lugar bem localizado, aconchegante e com um café delicioso. Tem opção de leite de amêndoas e cookies vegan. Wi-fi gratuito e livros disponíveis. Recomendo!

Lovely clean and fresh new place. Lovely service and owner. A little oasis right by the staton square with tables in the garden. Although the sandwiches we ordered could have been a little more seasoned. The ingredients were all very fresh and wholesome.

Really tasty food for everyone - was super impressed with the sugar-free, vegan and organic options, and it’s right next to the train station. Also love the outdoor seating! Great stuff!!

Lovely location and tastefully decorated with very sweet staff. Unfortunately the food we ordered was really not good - very dry scrambled egg with dry toast and small portions. The coffee was also poor - the flat white was just a lot of bubbly milk. Not at all what you expect from a place like this or at the prices they charge. A bit disappointing - maybe the chef was having a bad day? We sent the food back and were refunded in full so no complaints there.

Not specifically a fan of vegan food, I was dragged in the Roots Café by my wife who is. I must admit that the lunch I had made me change my initial views on Vegan food which I thought was boring. Came out very satisfied by the place, the food and the service. The zucchini noodles where delicious as was the Chili with Quinoa. We had the orange and pumpkin cake for desert but were told that the vegan chocolate cake is to die for. Will try it next time...

Lugar excelente. Pedimos ovos mexidos e estavam deliciosos e os preços acessiveis. 16 euros para duas pessoas. O ambiente também é muito bom. Definitivamente recomendo!

Carinissimo bar subito fuori dalla stazione, stranamente a differenza di altri posti ho notato che permettono agli animali di entrare e anzi hanno anche i biscotti!! Caffè buono! Barista carino e gentile!

Very nice small business right by the Cascais train station. Very smooth vibe and a great book collection. A bit over priced for the type of food they offer but apparently that's how it is everywhere in Lisbon these days.

It's a way too expensive for what it is... The food isn't that tasty and quite bland. Also the bread was really stale and old, and when I complained I was just told I was wrong. So not great customer service either. Better options out there!

Very bad coffee, very bad dessert (crumble)! They think flat white is latte. Also, it was said that the dessert is with red berries but we couldn’t see anything red in it.

Kleine Portionen undndas Essen ist nicht so raffiniert, wie die Karte suggeriert. Fazit, zu teuer für das was man bekommt.

Very friendly staff and great food. Would definitely visit again next time I am in the area. Also had a really good selection of books and magazines.

Friendly staff, clean toilets, good location, reasonably priced, garden ambiance. Very satisfactory having all of those things. They also have ketogenic coffee for 3,50 per cup. Their wifi is strong and working. If you need water there is available water for drinking to the customers near the door. Coming soon is the kombucha tea they are brewing from their own cafe!

Lugar muy bonito para tomar un café, merendar o desayunar, tienen también opciones de comida vegetariana. La decoración por dentro es muy bonita, con muebles de diseño de una prestigiosa marca de allí.

Torrada é feita de pão integral, dizem. Pode ser mas parece pão de supermercado, completamente seco, com as fatias meio dobradas como que com a forma com que estavam no saco. Manteiga a acompanhar completamente derretida e eram apenas 11 da manhã e compota que não parece muito cadeira.Galão feito com leite UHT. Se o preço não fosse 2,5 € pela torrada e 2€ pelo galão, com os pedidos feitos ao balcão (a torrada foi entregue na mesa) num café de ‘comida saudável se calhar passava. As mesas por levantar, cinzeiros espalhadas. Também não ajudam assim como a factura sem NIF porque o sistema acusava ‘NIF invalido’. Deixámos tudo. Não tivemos a sorte de outros clientes que referem ter sido reembolsados mas não o pedimos também. Têm muito trabalho a fazer antes de pedir os preços que pedem ou só poderão sobreviver com o turista ocasional.
