Their motto is "food made with love", I don't think so. The food was poor and hugely overpriced. Not the best in the area.

Beautiful food again, kids had the lamb special (soon had it two days ago and his sister had the bones! So was happy to have her own), one cod and one liver (no one likes it at home so don't get to eat it very often!) Every thing is to notch. We will be visiting again!

We booked for dinner and didn't realise it was only a tasting menu offered at dinner time. However this was not a problem as a very inventive series of dishes using the best of local ingredients were produced. The waitresses very kindly translated the dishes into English for us.We would highly recommend it.

This is by far the best restaurant I have been in the whole of Carvoiero. The owner goes above and beyond to accommodate everything to your liking. The food is so perfect we did not want to leave.

Hey guys, I visited this place 2 months ago and now want to share my experience. We had a great meal with lots of atmosphere which is typical of the area. Food was fantastic way to start and washed down with cold beer and house wine. Pork was huge and cooked to perfection. A great find and a shame they are only open after 6 pm.

I have tried to book a diner in this restaurant 3 times before but always left it to the last minute and never succeeded. This time I booked a diner for 8, two weeks in advance. It was absolutely worth it. We gave our wishlist to the chef and 30 minutes later 8 different dishes landed on our table. Everything was great and nicely served yet few dishes were simply spectacular.

Been here for dinner and what I love about this restaurant is not only the awesome food which are pleasantly served but also the genuine warm-hearted staff. The place is quiet/peaceful unlike any other restaurant. It is well kept and organize.

It was wonderful experience though it was my friends idea to visit this place, but i really thanks him for the nice evening with yummiest food really made our time awesome .Also would like to thank waiter as he is very polite and energetic host ,he makes us comfortable throughout our evening which make us feel like home.

With my family we did eat here on a Friday evening, we had a great experience, when you reserve you will get a good table and we had an excellent table. We started with smoked pork and shrimp salad which were very delicious. After that we get the food which was prepared on the Yoder, we had to ask what it mean and Jonas did explain us that it is prepared on a special BBQ, the nice 2 meat you was enough for 2 persons and we all try a piece which was cooked close to perfection. All the food we had was delicious and Jonas advise us a delicious wine. Chef's kitchen is located what was before Taste and the new owners did do a fantastic job with renovating the place.The deserts where delicious, and my favorite the cheesecake. We will come back next visit in Carvoeiro.

Resto sur 3 étages. Accueil un peu rébarbatif (il est vrai que l'ouragan Leslie était attendu et, donc, la pluie aussi et que les dernières tables disponibles étaient à découvert mais, finalement, la pluie n'est arrivée que vers minuit!). Ensuite, le service fut des plus sympa. La cuisine y est imaginative pour le coin. Très bonne. L'addition est à l'avenant.

Com uma relação qualidade preço péssima. Para quem gosta de boa comida certamente encontrará muitos restaurantes bastante mais interessantes. Os pontos fortes foram a simpatia e disponibilidade de alguns empregados e a decoração.

Best restaurant in Carvoeiro by far, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, unlike every other restaurant we visited in the town where we felt unwanted and a hassle to the staff. The food was exquisite and well presented.

O atendimento foi excelente, staff interessado em saber se tudo estava a gosto e se estávamos satisfeitos. A refeição foi das melhores que comi em Carvoeiro, estava tudo muito bem temperado e saboroso. A oferta de vinhos é variada mas requintada. Uma experiência a repetir sem dúvida.

Very nice restaurant, open late, nice staff though they did need a little convincing to ask for a different seat for my pregnant wife, softer chairs are on four seat tables only and it was just the two of us

Ein rundum gelungener Abend mit außerordentlich gutem Service. Wir haben uns das 1000g Tomahawk-Steak geteilt und waren zu zweit sehr gut gesättigt. Das Fleisch hatte eine herausragende Qualität und war auf den Punkt gegart. Wir würden für den Abend auch gerne sechs oder sieben Sterne vergeben. Sehr lecker und sehr zu empfehlen.

Disappointing evening after high expectations in case of the great reviews. It was very sadly that the menu didn't offer any glass of wine only bottles were available. Not everyone will drink a bottle by two person especially if you have to drive back to the hotel. We ordered "one" couvert for the start, the duck in red curry and the wagyue beef burger as main dishes. The couvert was tasty but not enough bread for the dips. After I receiced my wagyue burger the frustration was enourmes because the patty was cold, dry and comes well done. The taste of the meat was more like normal hash definitely not like a wagyue beef. I observed this to the waiter and they kindly brought me a new burger after a few minutes. The only difference to the first burger was that the patty haven't been cold now but it was dry and grilled to death as well. In my opinion 18 € is way to much for this burger and in any event it isn't worth the money. I want to add that the duck in red curry was tasty. We asked for the bill and I gave the waiter a recommendation that they shouldn't offer a wagyue beef burger and then serve it well done. He felt attacked and told me that I'm responsible because I didn't say something after I received my second burger. Definitely not a good service! He told us that the only thing he can offer us is a local spirit, in my opinion this is ridiculous. But at the end the funniest thing was that there were two couverts for nearly 4 € each on the bill. It's incomprehensible to charge 8 € for two small pieces of bread with dips. It wasn't mentioned in the menu that they will charge 4 € each person. In summary for this price class I expect something different!

Food amazing! Service spot on......I had the rack of lamb and my husband had the fillet steak (which literally melted in your mouth!). Best meal do far this holiday.

This place is very central in carvoeiro and it looks fantastic. Linked with the already successful ele and ela it's a great addition to the town. The food was tasty and the service was second to none. The only sadness for them, and it's totally unavoidable, is that the view looking out is just of the tourist shops over the road. However, if you're facing the restaurant it's actually lovely as they have designed the levels beautifully. Would definitely recommend.

Chegamos às 20h27 com reserva para as 20h30 para 4 pessoas. Quando chegámos, foi sentada uma mesa também de 4 pessoas, a quem perguntaram quantos eram. Sentaram esse grupo de 4 pessoas no exterior. Fomos sentados numa mesa onde estava muito calor e pedimos para trocar. Havia uma mesa com 4 lugares e 3 pratos postos colocada. Pedimos para nos mudarem, mas não podiam porque o grupo tinha reservado aquela mesa em específico. Disseram nos que não para nos dizerem que não. Quando o grupo chega de 3 pessoas chega pede para trocar de mesa porque tem calor. Aqui confirmei a má vontade dos colaboradores. Finalmente pedimos. 30m depois de estarmos à espera. 1 hora depois de estarmos sentados chegaram as entradas. 2 mesas que chegaram depois de nós foram servidas. E nós continuavamos à espera dos nossos pratos. Questionámos um empregado, responder com os mínimos da educação "tava a comer as almôndegas queria que trouxesse os pratos?" respondemos que comemos as almôndegas devagar, fazendo tempo que chegassem os pratos, e o empregado virou nos as costas. Pedimos o menu das sobremesas e uma empregada foi humilhada por ter feito o que os clientes lhe pediram, que foi trazer o menu. O hamburger estava mau e o serviço foi péssimo. Má educação à la carte mas pela capa da ementa não parece.

Excellent food , some of the best I've ever tasted. Expensive prices but definitely worth it. However it was unfortunately overshadowed with the rudeness of one particular staff member, a bald chap with tatoos was extremely rude to us and put us right off our food. Obrigado

I had the pork burger and it’s the maximum a burger can be. Friendly personal and fast delivery. The dishes of all of us were empty after the evening, so all in all it was a very well experience.
