A truly magical place in the Alentejo about a 10 minute drive from Evora set among cork & olive trees with lovely gardens, orange & lemon trees. We stayed in one of 2 apartments separate from the main house. It had an old world charm with very comfortable sitting room, fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom & bedroom with very comfortable beds. Breakfast is available in the main house for an extra charge & well worth it. Farm fresh & home made. There are a couple of options if you’d like dinner here. A gourmet dinner or a library meal. We experienced both & highly recommend. Not only is the food & wine delicious, the ambiance was unforgettable. Candlelight & fresh flowers in a beautifully charming environment. Wim & Monique are wonderful hosts. Their website is exceptional. All the information you need is there.

Por favor visitem este local. Excelente em todos os aspectos. Desde a quinta que é muito amorosa, aos donos que são impecáveis, os animais e o pequeno o almoço que é divinal!!!! Super acolhedor, situado muito perto do centro de Évora, o silêncio à noite e excelente para descansar. Vale mesmo a pena ficar hospedado aqui.

My husband and I stayed for two nights. Lovely home and large grounds. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The seven dogs are great, as dog lovers we enjoyed them very much. We particularly liked the library/bar room. The reason we gave 4 stars and not five: pool was unclean (dirt on bottom and surface), low water pressure in shower and took a long time to heat up, and their info book said that water bottle in room would be replaced each day but this did not happen. Only minor annoyances during overall good stay. We would recommend!

Affittacamere fantastico! Un soggiorno stupendo immerso nei dintorni di Evora. Cura e dettaglio per offrire il miglior soggiorno sono la prerogativa dell'oste. L'appartamento in stile rustico è curatamente arredato. Il complesso principale ti immerge in una classica abitazione di campagna.

An extraordinary place! It has all been said before, but this is truly an amazing place, with wonderful hosts. The setting is stunning, facilities good, the food amazing, and the hospitality outstanding. Whilst the idea of dogs in our hotel seemed off putting to us, we absolutely fell in love with them too - particularly the Irish Wolfhounds - true gentle giants.

Really nice position: in the countryside but close to Evora. The pool is perfect during the hot days, although not been particularly clean. The price per night is fair, while the breakfast a bit overpriced. The beds are super comfy but get ready to be awaken in the morning by the dogs. It's okay, it's a farm, but you have to know this. The staff has been really nice, we found only Monique a bit grumpy, maybe because we arrived at 9.12 (the check in is until 9) but the place isn't the easiest one to reach. It's a very characteristic place that resounds the personality of the owners. An interesting experience, but not a particularly local one.

Tutto è fantastico......la casa è stupenda con ogni sorta di attenzione per il cliente. Stanze grandi, bagni grandi e bellissimi ed una piscina ancora piu bella... Collocata in una campagna stupenda... A quattro minuti dal centro di Evora...... Super... super consigliato.

Loved gardens and bird books and pool. People warm and friendly. Provided water and coffee in room and invited to breakfast. Delicious. Wouldn't work if afraid of dogs but we love them.

Ci siamo fermati solo una notte, ma dopo aver visto il luogo ci sarebbe piaciuto restare molto di più. La location è molto bella e tranquilla, in mezzo alla campagna e alle querce da sughero, ma a pochi minuti da Evora. I proprietari sono gentili e disponibili. Se dovessimo tornare da quelle parti, ci fermeremo sicuramente di nuovo.

Staying at this place was one of the highlights of my vacation in Portugal. The whole place including our 2 rooms and bathroom were very well maintained and immaculate. The owner was very welcoming and interesting to talk with over several beers. Breakfast was fantastic. Our kids loved the pool which was very refreshing and in a relaxing garden setting. Can't say enough great things about this place.

Unfortunately we stayed only for one night, but we will come back for sure. The garden is amazing and very well cared for, nevertheless not too much, so it doesn't look artificial. There is a pool which can be used from sunrise to sunset. The house seems to me tipical for the region, and our room was big and decorated in a lovely style. There were loads of towels and very much space for cloths and all the other stuff. The owners are really nice and helpful and there is free cake and coffee for the guests. In the evening you can also have beer, port wine...(cheap). It's also great for children because there are several dogs (some of which like to play with guests), donkeys and pigs. We took the breakfast and got all we wanted for € 7,50 each. At the quinta and in the surroundings there are many olive trees and cork oaktrees.
