Bien localizado, tranquilo y con ambiente propicio para estudios. Cocina y baños bien equipados. Queda en la ruta del bus, así que es fácil transportarse a lugares fuera del.centro histórico.

Bom local para passar umas noites por Évora. O unico contra foi o facto de ter ficado alojado num outro edifício que não apresentava as mesmas condições do edificio principal. A cada pequeno almoço tive que sair de um local para o outro (cerca de 30-50 metros).

Barato, quente, sossegado e bom pequeno almoço . Simpatia 5 estrelas.

Fiquei num quarto feminino com oito camas, estava tudo limpo, lençóis e fronha lavados. Boa casa de banho, água quente para tomar duche, bom pequeno almoço, cozinha grande e bem funcional e o mais importante super simpatia e ambiente familiar.

Muito acolhedor e o staff muito simpático! Recomendo

Foi-me garantido que teriam 2 quartos twin; mais tarde pedi que alterassem para 3 quartos twin, o que foi acordado; quando cheguei tinha 2 quartos (1 com 2 beliches e o outro com 4 beliches)!!!

Un sitio bastante céntrico, limpio y tranquilo. El propietario nos dio una habitación privada al ver que eramos una familia. Los baños son compartidos pero estaban muy limpios.

Como estar em casa, staff muito amigável e acolhedor, uma cozinha que dá vontade de viver e comer bem e terraços para passar uns bons serões entre amigos de longa data e amigos feitos no hostel.

Auberge très agréable, le responsable et sa maman sont très chaleureux. Niveaux équipements il y a tout ce qui faut : une vraie cuisine par exemple. Le matin le petit dejeuner est très copieux, vous pourrez le déguster sur la terrasse du petit patio juste à côté de la cuisine... À l'étage la salle d'eau est très spacieuse, ils ont privilégié le confort plutôt que de maximiser l'espace avec une enfilade de douches (comme on peut en voir dans d'autres auberges). N'hésitez pas si vous voulez vous sentir comme chez vous dans une ambiance bienveillante.

Nice hostel, nice staff, good kitchen, decent baths, OK brekkie. A wheel on my suitcase broke while walking from the bus station - every sidewalk and street in Evora is cobblestone and pretty rough, so you may want a taxi if you don't have a backpack.

Inside the walls of the city, so reasonably close to everything. We were put in an annex and had to climb two steep flights of stairs. Place was very quiet.

Actually I did not stay--I booked 1 night in order to leave my luggage during sightseeing (was on the way from Lisbon to Estremoz--since there is no coin locker at the bus terminal). Convenient location. When the manager (?) found out that I am not staying overnight, he charged me only 5 Euro instead of 16.

The receptionist did not ask us for any identification when we checked in. He asked us to pay in cash upfront. Then he took us to a different building nearby, showed us to our room on the second floor. We had booked a TWIN BED room and was given a 4-bed dormitory room. It had no safe or decorations as it is being listed on this website obviously because it was not the room we had booked. On a different note breakfast was good and location was great. Very disappointed indeed.

Only stayed for a night. The hostel was well located in the town. Parking was a little tight. The place was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Muito limpo e organizado. Atendimento do Pedro nota mil! Somente a cama poderia ser melhor. Café atende bem a função, já que há tantas confeitarias deliciosas para experimentar.

Bem localizado, cafe bom, as vezes demoram para repor. Houve uma confusão com minha diária e me jospedaram em outro lugar.

Booked a single. The door to the single (which was really a set of twin beds), was kind of flimsy and didnt lock from the outside. This made it kind of difficult to go the restroom without having to lock everything in the locker, which was pretty inconvenient. The staff was super kind and helpful at check-in.

Don't book anything at this place unless you like to find out upon arrival that your rooms were given to someone else. Instead of the rooms we booked and paid 50% advance for, the owner tried to put us in mixed dorms in a nearby hostel for almost the same price. We were able to push back and after a quite heated conversation get our own room but definitely in a lower class place.

The place has bedbugs, they know it, lie about it and give you bedrooms that are infested! Do not go there. When we arrived, we were supposed to have two bedrooms with a double bed, but it got changed because "some student had requested for a new night" we got the a four bed dorms, it was a very simple double bulk bed without natural light, the place seem neglected, shower was dirty, fridge was old and heater were rusty. At ten pm, we were about to sleep when we saw bedbugs walking on the wall, I got bitten once. We left the room, got our money back and had to sleep in our car. The worse is the attitude of the manager who told us he did not know there was bedbugs in our room, when we found comment on the another comment that had bedbugs in the very same room three weeks before (top floor), a treatment was supposed to have been done, but given the number of bedbugs we found, and how confortable to appear with light on, I suppose is a lie. The manager told us to find another room, at 10pm, and did not even want to pay 10€ to cover for cleaning our clothes. Edit following the answer from the owner: We were not in the hostel itself, but we still were using the hostel, so it does not make sense to say the hostel does not have bed bugs. Also, we were not offered another room because all of them were full, but to go to another hotel, which was impossible because it was 10PM, and we had to drive overnight to our next town.

Lugar muy limpio y acogerdor. Desayuno muy rico. Estancias comunes muy cuidadas y agradables. Aparcamiendo de pago en la puerta (aunque muy cerca ya puedes encontrat libre de pago). Buena situación. Personal muy agradable. La única pega es que reservé por booking para 2 y el precio resultó ser por persona en una habitación de 6/8 en lugar de 4 (aunque nos dijeron que no estaríamos más de 4 y lo respetaron).

Located about 20 min walk from train / 15 min walk from bus stations close to the center of town, this hostel has the makings of a good stay. The manager is friendly and helpful, the kitchen and communal areas large and comfortable. The downside to my stay - I was put in a room on the street side of the building so the noise from the traffic and drunk people walking in the street went on throughout the night. Also, the room was off of a corridor and didn't actually have a door so noise from people inside the building too. I didn't get much sleep at all. Other people in another room facing the street complained about noise too. Also, the women's bathroom had windows looking into the courtyard area and other dorm rooms so there was no privacy. I came out of the shower and could see a man in another room looking into the women's bathroom. Awkward!! I had booked three nights and checked out after one night. Checked into a much quieter hostel with much better facilities. Wouldn't recommend.

Hostel was fine until we woke up with bed bugs on us. A very nice employee moved us to a different building at midnight but the damage had been done.Spoke to the owner in the morning and he said he knew the room had bed bugs but it had been treated so 90 percent of them were dead.. He rented out a room KNOWING it had bed bugs in it.

Achtung Bettwanzen!!! Mein Freund und ich haben in einem Zimmer mit 4 Betten übernachtet und hatten das Zimmer nur für uns. Um 2 Uhr nachts bin ich aufgewacht, weil mein ganzer Körper gejuckt hat. Die Bettwanzen waren in Betten und an der Wand: groß und klein. Mein Freund wurde nicht gebissen, aber unter seinem Laken haben wir auch Bettwanzen gefunden. Nachdem wir unsere Sachen durchsucht haben, sind wir ins Auto geflüchtet, um da die restliche Nacht zu verbringen. Morgens haben wird das Problem geschildert und bekamen ohne Proteste das Geld mit der Aussage ,,man würde reinigen``zurück. Man braucht keine ,,Reinigung``sondern einen Kammerjäger!. Der restliche Urlaub wurde unausgeschlafen und mit zunehmender Juckreiz verbracht, sodass man in die Apotheke gehen musste. Von Stirn bis zur Ferse habe ich höllisch juckende Quaddeln. Bei Rückkehr musste man alle Sachen erst isolieren und waschen, um die Bettwanzen nicht mit nach Hause zu nehmen. Bin ziemlich sauer. Anbei ,,leckere'' Bilder von der Nacht

バスターミナルから5分程度の城壁の中にあり便利。大きなスーパーマーケットが場外に4軒。韓国映画監督パク・チャヌク作品を好きなタッフが洗濯はバスルームで、干すのは２階ドミトリー奥の階段を上がった屋上で(屋上は自動施錠なので注意)と言ってくれた。キッチンで自炊可能で何でも揃っている。 エボラ大学留学生が夜のスタッフとして数人いて、日本語を話すベトナム人達と楽しく語らった。土日は大学アズレージョの部屋は休みだった。2017年9月現在、ディアナ神殿は修復中でネットで覆われている。滞在中日曜日に闘牛が開催されていた。料金10ユーロ程度から。

Stayed for 12 days, had rental car, close by parking, no problem at all. Wonderful stay, clean, quiet, owner is just fantastic. Would recommend in a heartbeat

Limpio y con grandes zonas comunes

The hostel is very old but the bathroom was new. Pedro was a great host and help us so much bringing us to the megaliths and then to the bus station as his guest. The large round table for a great breakfast with a toaster made great family atmosphere. It was quiet and enjoyed the bed. Very good location and good value for money.

The hotel is located between bus terminal and city center. Good location. Room and bath room are very clean. Staff is very friendly. I strongly recommend this hotel.

We had a quick stop after Lisboa in the centre of beautiful town of Evora. The location of the hostel is excellent and staff very helpful.

A hostel stay that remindedus of international travels in our hitchhiking days. Basic breakfast, camaradie with other guests, helpful hosts. Major negative is that the hotel doesnt accept credit cards.

Una mala experiencia. Reservamos una habitación para una noche para dos personas y nos querían meter en una habitación con otra chica. Nuestra reserva no constaba y nos llevaron a un edificio al lado para dormir en muy malas condiciones. El edificio es antiguo, y bonito por fuera pero por dentro es como trasladarse a los años 80. Nos dieron una habitación con 4 camas de las cuales solo usamos una porque nos daba hasta pudor. Las colchas estaban descosidas, las almohadas tenían un color amarillento, solo hay un enchufe en la habitación, los armarios estaban rotos y toda la habitación olía a humedad y a tuberías. Tuvimos que abrir las ventaras de par en par si queríamos dormir aquella noche en condiciones. En el baño no se podía ni estar. Tenias que aguantar la respiración para lograr estar dentro de él. Demasiado antiguo, llevado al extremo. No lo aconsejo para nada. Quizás el precio llame la atención pero realmente no lo merece.

We were provided free breakfast but the room was a bit shabbier than the online pictures showed. It was in a pretty good location.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. The staff was extremely helpful with all our picky requests. Everything was clean and comfortable.

It's a very nice place to stay, love the ambience. Breakfast includes a fruit and kitchen was always clean. Employees are from Community support associations. The only disappointment was I chose a female only dormitory (room with 6 beds) and at last minute two men came to sleep in our dorm (room) due to new arrivals. So be aware, dorms are mostly mixed although advertised as female or male only.

I travel a lot. Quite a lot. Always looking for cheap and good places to stay, a very hard combination. At €12 per person and with an amazing staff, this may be the best place I've ever found - in case you don't want a double bed. You can still have your private room for the same price, if there's enough room, the staff is that amazing. Cozy living area, free breakfast, great small city. Everything was lovely. It's also got internet as good as it can get. The wifi is awesome. If you happen to find it slow, it's only because in Portugal, by the time of this writing, they don't know how to put Fiber in historical places. I know, I live near Lisbon Castle for months now. Dam those portuguese politicians...

I really loved this Hostel. The dorm rooms were spacious and the single/double rooms looked simple but nice. The kitchen was great, well equipped, and the breakfast was a little above the average crappy free breakfast (everything was very very edible, tasty, and overall good for the value). The hosts are so genial and super friendly. The upper balcony is nice and has some room to dry clothes, but not a lot of space. The bathroom is spacious and the two bathrooms are enough to accommodate a semi-full house. Overall the place has a lot of character and is in the center of Evora.

Hostel tanto cochambroso, pero que si pilla de paso no hace daño pasar una noche o dos, económico, pero pocos baños (a la mañana había cola para ducha y aseo)

The hotel is smack in the middle of the old town, but quiet at night. Twin room basic but quite large and clean. Shared bathroom also basic but clean. Breakfast self service, ample, with cheese ham honey biscuits aso. on offer. Wifi good. All in all a great deal for the price.

Pedro was the staff when I stayed there. He is very helpful and nice. The location is desirable. Customers share bathrooms but the price is half of what a normal hotel charges. It also including breakfast.

Pedro and Susanna are amazing! The place is super clean and quaint with lots of character. They both went out of there way to provide us with all the info we needed and even took us on a tour for 1/3 of the price as the travel office offered. I highly recommend this place. I was sad to leave:(

Its very hard to find; the sign is very small and your gps will have trouble finding you. If you have a car park outside the city walls and walk in. They offered some breakfast and it was standard hostel fare. Another guest snored very loudly and didnt turn off it his light. I recommend earplugs and a sleeping mask. For €12 its hard to complain about it not being ideal.

Its a hostel, so rating it on the value compared to other hostels, it was very good. The rooms were clean, bathrooms reasonable, and facilities decent. You received a basic breakfast of cereal, bread, juice, coffee, and/or tea. The host was very nice, helpful, and accomodating. Location was excellent.
