Great and beautiful statue. The surf board illustrates the surf culture from Nazaré (that have been known since McNamara catches the Big Wave), and the deer head is a mention to the legend of the Hunter Knight and the deer, that happened there a few centuries ago (a religious legend that shows the power of god while mankind were "seduced" by the devil, in that case, in the form of a deer).

Venado de mármol y metal, construido en 2016, mide 6,30 mts.

Escultura polémica, construída para homenagear os surfistas e Nossa Senhora da Nazaré. Consiste na estátua de um surfista, com “cabeça de veado”, fazendo a alusão ao milagre de Nossa Senhora da Nazaré, que, segundo a lenda, terá salvo D. Fuas Roupinho quando este caçava um veado e desapareceu no precipício, no meio do nevoeiro, a 14 de setembro de 1182, valendo-lhe o pedido de auxílio à Virgem para parar o cavalo.
