Reveillon on a Cruise in Douro River - never again! First of all, we've waited for 15 minutes at really low temperatures, as they we're not in time. We we're kind of lucky, as it was not raining... otherwise we would be waiting on the rain also. The boat was freezing, almost as cold as outside. Then, the captain started his speech, and told us we would not see the city fireworks. Well, I called before booking, and the sir that spoke to me told me all the boats would stop in the river, wherever they were, to see the fireworks on the bridge. So I was lied to. After this, we asked a member of the crew to turn on the air conditioner, as it was too cold. Almost everyone in the boat had their coats on!! We were ignored... Only at the 3rd time requesting again they turned on the AC!! Another pearl... right before serving the soup, the fire alarm was triggered. Ok, it happens. What is not normal, is letting the really loud alarm turned on for about 3 minutes!!! The food... don't let me start... it was not even reasonable... The worst of all, was the animation... the guy that was playing, played all the songs with the same melody... man... not good at all. We were so bored that we asked to leave the boat right after midnight, after seeing the fireworks of an hotel next to the marine... I guess we were kind of lucky, as the only bad thing that was missing, was the boat starting to sink! We have payed 110€/person for this service... never ever ever again!!!!
