A 3 stars ..looses points with the poor servie, commercial food. Would definitely not go back. But of you are in a rush with hungry kids...the fries and chiken are ok.

Das halbe Hähnchen (Piri-Piri) kam wohl ohne Brust und Flügel auf die Welt, und bestand statt dessen aus wenigen wahllosen Grill-Stücken. Schade. Dann lieber etwas mehr bezahlen als das recht niedrige Preisniveau des Restaurants und dafür was gescheites auf den Tisch bringen.

Al limite della sufficienza per il cibo. Servizio lentissimo. Prezzi simili alla concorrenza. Non consiglio. Non fatevi influenzare dalla coda fuori: è perchè sono lenti!!!

Terminei a refeição e as bebidas não chegaram, mesmo depois de pedir aos funcionários e falar com o responsável e estavam a cobrar as bebidas que não foram servidas.

It was maybe the first meal this evening..but no meal should leave the kitchen like that: the chips were soft not crispy. The bread was dry, not fresh.The rice never met salt and the fish was done.

Lovely place.
Does it's best to maintain its Portuguese heritage and largely successful. We ate there 3 times, each time from the set menu.
Food was good and easily ample. Included wine was nice and generously proportioned. I don't 'do' sweets so was given another drink as an uncharged alternative.
Staff are all friendly but also professional.
Everyone we saw in there appeared to enjoy their experience, we certainly did.
Strong recommendation.

Food ok, but service terrible, how do you manage to get 2 course order wrong, even when he read them back, so we ended up eating separately, no explanation, no apology, just avoid eye contact with us from all staff members, visited some lovely restaurants in the area, this one I will not be visiting again.

O Frango assado a Guia estava muito bom. Veio a companhado com batata frita e salada.
Pedimos para beber sagria tinta, o que tb estava boa.
Um sitio agradavel para jantar !

Afgelopen week bij dit restaurant gegeten. Ten opzichte van andere restaurants was dit restaurant niet leeg. Gezellig restaurant waar de televisie een keer niet prominent aanwezig is. Het eten was prima en de bediening vriendelijk.

Excellent Chicken Piri Piri or as Portuguese call it "Frango a Guia" and lots of other really good dishes to choose from. Service 5 star also.

As a chef who knows food abroad isn't to British restaurant / thakeways standard but when they serve old rice re warmed and different coloured chips with my and my wife course( reheated chips) was bad but I had the chicken pirri and wasn't advised about the bones. Not nice upside the garlic bread was nice. This is my 1st review ever.s##t

A minha vontade era de dar uma estrela. Custa-me a admitir má cara a servir clientes. Apesar de já ser tarde perguntei se ainda serviam ao que me responderam que sim. Perferia que me tivessem dito que não. Nada a apontar à comida, mas sim ao staff. Não voltarei para não correr o risco de ser mal servido de novo. Até porque oferta não falta na zona.

Tiny chicken (frango piri piri).
We asked a local for recommendations for piri piri chicken and she told us this is the best. What a big disappoinment. Ordered 1/2 chicken and all we got were a few tiny dry pieces, mostly dry skin and small bones, barely any noticable meat. Waitress explained the local chickens are all small. What a lie. I sked a more senior waiter who said the same thing but brought us another plate of 1/2 chicken. It was a bit better, but barely enough for 1 person.
What a rip-off.
Afterward I've seen chickens in the local supermarkets , fresh ready to cook, cooked and BBQ'd, whole, cut up into pcs, etc. Bought some, and it was delicious, meaty, and not tiny at all. And far far cheaper. Agapito is full of B.S.

Loved this place so much, we dined there twice in a row. Great service with fresh authentic Portuguese food. You feel family when you sit there. Recommend the sardines and steak. Oh and did I mention cheap!

Really great food both dining in and take away. It is truly incredible value and exceptional quality for a lovely simple menu. We love the chicken peri peri and the kebabs! Small point to note on the food, the chicken is quite small so I would order 2 whole chickens for 3 people.
The chicken is arguably the best we've had after years of trying recommendations around the algarve. Juicy, perfectly cooked and not salted to death which is a common technique at other restaurants.
2 sections of the dining room, suggest sitting in the inner section as it's a very busy road and can feel like you're sitting on the pavement with the noise....not the restaurant's fault obviously, just a small tip to make the most of the enjoyable experience.

Franguinho tipo à Guia, muito saboroso! Batata e salada igualmente! Muito boas azeitonas à entrada. Ficamos satisfeito com tudo, incluindo o preço. Recomendo :)
