Prezzi assolutamente competitivi pur essendo in pieno centro (0.70 il caffè, 0.80-1.30 per la pasticceria), qualità della pasticceria offerta nella media (abbiamo provato croissant, pastel de nata, caffè, galão, bombolone alla crema, "panzerotto con peperoni e prosciutto").

Right under our airbnb and opening early morning, they let us in for breakfast after a long night. They were very friendly and you could see they were happy to provide us with some needed food :-) We'd recommend those guys for a stop!

Atendimento muito simpático. Tem sempre salgados frascos e deliciosos. Tem prato do dia com relação qualidade preço muito boa. Desde 3,50€. Tem umas óptimas torradas, uma bola de carne deliciosa e francesinhas ótimas. Tem serviço de mesa e esplanada. Bastante em conta dado a localização.

There is a type of service that seems particular to Porto, yet can also be found in far less good-tempered cities, such as Paris, for example. It goes like this: the waiter is having a really bad day. But instead of dealing with this himself (it's usually a man, and he's usually at least in his mid-50s) he chooses to dump all his anger on the customer. It happens very often in this city. So you go into a place like this, order a coffee, politely mention that you are going outside and ask could they please serve it to you there? Wonderful taste! I was surprise two times for excellent taste and incredible low price. I only paid 4 euro for 2 espresso and 3 breads. I remember the host's smile with kindness and confidence. Simply the best!

Everything we tried was just great, but above all, we love the croissants. Moistier and softer than any other we had in Porto (keep in mind Portuguese croissant has nothing to do with the French one). Full breakfast for 3 people costs less than 3,50€ and full lunch for two is 10€. Amazing quality for ridiculous price! Sure we'll come back!
