Very impressive building and grounds. Stopped for the night on a business trip and wish I could have been there for longer to enjoy the pool and garden. Would be great place for a business group to meet.

Según leo, nada más que aportar y sólo reafirmar el buen trato, en especial de André y las buenas instalaciones, con gusto y confort. Llevábamos un coche eléctrico y nos facilitó un enchufe convencional para conectarlo. Muy recomendable con niños.

Very nice and relax hotel to stay, only ten rooms in property, and you need to have a car, otherwise EXCELLENT HOTEL, service A+, food A+ ( quality and very tasty ) room A+After long day sightseeing the area, best place to relax and have a great dinner with a nice wine.

Um hotel traquilo, sossegado e muito acolhedor. Ideal para descanso mas também bom para crianças. A piscina é magnífica, tal como todo o resto das instalações. O staff muito atencioso e prestável.

A fantastic hotel in a beautiful setting. Obviously a lot of thought and care has been put into making this a top hotel and it really pays off. The owners/staff were all very friendly and so helpful with suggestions for the area. All areas were lovely, from the bedrooms to common areas and pool. I would happily stay here again, a super hotel.

Stayed here for a week in mid July. On arrival Andreas was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Throughout the holiday he was attentive and couldn’t do more for us. The rest of the staff were great too. The pool was stunning, the room was gorgeous. The only downfall was the hotel restaurant was closed the week we were there as it was quiet and the staff were on holiday. There aren’t many places to eat near by, we had a car and could drive to the local grill but other than that you’d struggle to find anywhere.

Driving up the long, winding, cobblestone driveway, I was sure I had made a mistake and turned into a private residence. From the meticulously manicured gardens to the overall clean and fresh feeling I had when I got out of my car and was inside the small lobby, attention to detail and superb customer service are the calling cards of this friendly hotel. It is quiet here, and often I had the feeling I was the only person in the hotel. My room was very large and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast featured a variety of hot and cold foods sure to please anyone. I can’t say enough about Andre and the rest of the “team” here, always available to offer suggestions on local attractions, restaurants, and other unique places to stay across Portugal. Their aim is customer service and they are quite good at it. I really didn’t want to leave this relaxing atmosphere. If you are looking for a peaceful place to enjoy, I highly recommend Hotel Rural Quinta das Quintaes.

Historic, rustic and country ambience was superb. The owner was very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home.The location is a little out-of-the-way and the historical stone and wood finishes are delightful, though the rooms feel and smell humid. This latter negative is balance out by the locations and the buildings special charm.We encourage you to go, but understand it is a couple of miles outside of town and that in the summer time your room may be humid, but fresh and cool.

This hotel far exceeded expectations. The beautiful, well-appointed, classy facility was located in a gorgeous setting surrounded by vineyards. The parking lot had orange and lime trees at the edge. The managers enthusiasm about the property and his job was contagious...oh, and dont forget he speaks multiple languages fluently. I hope to have the opportunity to visit this property for a longer stay.

Un hotel encantador. Muy tranquilo, de poca capacidad. Muy limpio, y arreglado todo. La habitación super confortable, Un 10 para el personal que nos atendió sobre todo el chico que estaba en prácticas. El desayuno genial, la cena no pudimos probarla, no tenían servicio ese día. Volvería sin dudarlo.

Absolutely amazing setting and service overall, the first night out as a family of 4 (a recent baby joining a young toddler) which couldn’t have been made better. Definitely a place to go back to and have already started recommending it to friends and family.

Hotel rural muy bien restaurado. La piscina genial, igual que el desayuno. Las habitaciones amplias y con buena disposición. Ideal para niños, como para parejas. Muy recomendable.

Hotel muy tranquilo, moderno y acogedor. Lo categorizaría como un hotel boutique, con trato presonalizado y excelentes instalaciones. El personal de atención (André, Marcelo y otros cuyos nombres no recuerdo) nos hicieron sentir como en casa, dándonos datos de los mejores lugares a visitar. El entorno es realmente hermoso y muy seguro, rodeado de viñedos dentro de la propiedad. Las habitaciones son muy modernas, espaciosas y completas. La localización es ideal para manejar conocer los poblados y ciudades cercanas. Para visitar Porto, la estación del tren está a menos de 10 minutos en auto y es la mejor opción para llegar al centro de la ciudad sin el engorro de tráfico o estacionamiento. Este hotel es una opción muy recomendable para los que gustan vacacionar en ambientes tranquilos, seguros y con entornos rodeados de vegetación y alejados del bullicio de la urbe.

Très belle batisse, très bien entretenue et très propre.Nous navons pas pu profiter du jardin et de la piscine à cause du temps. Toutefois ils semblaient très agréables.Chambre spacieuse et moderne. Petits bémols : lit face à la porte dentrée. Un filet de lumière provenant du couloir éclaire la chambre la nuit.Bruit léger mais perceptible du mini bar dans le bahut face au lit.Le point le plus négatif : matelas très dur, trop dur.Petit déjeuner très bon et copieux.

Un Hotel maravilloso en un entorno muy agradable. Un buen sitio para programar visitas a Güimaraes o Braga... Oporto también está cerca aunque merece la pena dejar el coche en la cercana estación de Çéte e ir en tren hasta Sao Bento en pleno centro de Oporto. Imprescindible la visita a las bodegas Aveleda en Penafiel, a 15 minutos del hotel.

très bel hotel , mais situé loin de Porto. il faut 45mn de train et 15 mn de voiture pour atteindre la gare.A recommander pour des voyageur qui visite le portugal en voiture ou qui veulent se reposer. très bel hotel. Personnel dévoué.

Superbe prestation, la piscine la salle de billard le restaurant et le bar sont tout simplement somptueux.Une note particulière pour le directeur de l'établissement qui est au "petits oignons " ...serviable, gentil, sérieux et plein de bon conseils.. Une très bonne adresse au milieu des vignes...avec un accès sur Porto hyper simple et rapide en train à tout petit prix depuis la gare et retour à l'hotel pur un plouf réparateur. Nous sommes vraiment régalés. Nous recommandons cette établissement.

toll saniertes Anwesen ... Preis /Leistung hervorragend und sehr empfehlenswert ... ideales Hotel um im Norden Portugals einige Tage zu verbringen und verschiedene Exkursionen zu machen ... sehr netter Gastgeber ... komischerweise wenig Gäste obwohl sehr schön und sehr preiswert ...

We only stayed here overnight but were welcomed like special guests by Andre and the cook ! Andre really put himself out and making sure everything was taken care off - true Portuguese hospitality in a wonderful setting
