Caché sur la fameuse rue "Rose" dit l’ancien “Red Light District” de Lisbonne, et pile sous le pont jaune en pente se trouve e MusicBox l'établissement au MEILLEUR SON LATINO de toute la ville !! Impossible de ne pas s'y approcher même si la porte est tellement petite qu'on peut passer sans la voir s'il n'y avait pas une grande file d'attente chaque weekend et jusqu'à 4h. Ici pas de dress code on peut venir zen habillé comme on veut, basket, robe ou jean à condition d'aimer la music chaude et les rythmes brésiliens, cap verdien, etc. Le staff a l'entrée est très réglo, pro et vous expliquera au besoin le type de soirée, les tarifs sont vraiment corrects 8 à 10 € avec conso. A l'intérieur une atypique cave ou voute d'environ 20 m de long avec un dj sur l'estrade et des corps qui se déhanchent tout le long dans une atmosphère particulièrement sombre et caliente. La Music est vraiment excellente et les sons très recherchés puisque tout le monde danse à toute heure de la nuit ! Une immense bouffé de plaisir brésilien... (A la sortie comme partout dans ce secteur jusqu’à 6h du matin de charmants autochtones vous proposerons cocaïne ou samoussas)

Seguranças perigosos. Uma vergonha meterem animais a "proteger" pessoas. Ainda percebo que um bêbedo desate à pancada porque lhe falaram num tom que não gostou, ou porque o olharam de forma estranha... (ou por motivo nenhum até) MAS UM SEGURANÇA DESATAR A ESPANCAR PESSOAS SÓ PORQUE SIM, é só algo que me assusta e me faz questionar, que raio de serviço é este. Que raio de bar paga a uma pessoa para proteger e este em vez disso ataca e fica cego, sem conseguir controlar a sua raiva. É que um bêbedo só vai parar quando lhe taparem os olhos e agarrarem (como se faz a um animal), mas este "segurança" foi muito pior, não parou nem por nada e desatou a bater numa mulher e no rapaz que a estava a defender. É só mais uma história triste das muitas que se passam com "seguranças" em Portugal.

Tricky policy to actually get in but if you do get in (don't go in big groups of one sex) then it's pretty nice in there. Drinks are pretty expensive (cheaper before 1am) and it only gets busy later on so it's a bit quiet early doors. But they have good bands and DJs on and it's a 'cool' crowd. It's a small place though and gets full of smoke, still takes some getting used to if you're from the UK. Worth a look though if you're in a couple and want something different.

Um espaço agradável para quem gosta de sair do convencional "barzinho". As apresentações musicais são de ótima qualidade. Estivemos lá quando Rubel tocou e adoramos.

Pequeno, mas agradável, muito fumo.

Visito raramente para concertos só, já lá ia quando ainda era o Texas. mas a visibilidade para o palco é má. Mas o pior são sempre estes locais que se pode fumar, mas não tem as mínimas condições de extração de fumo, deixando quem não fuma em dificuldades de ali estar muito tempo.

It was one of the most disgusting experiences I ve ever had. We were treated in a racist way. They didn’t let us in, not happening with other portuguese people. We were not drunk nor maling troubles, however, we did realize we were not welcome there. Me llevé una decepción con este local.

Vreselijke tent, vreselijke mixjes! Zowel de drank als de muziek waardeloos! Veel te sterke cocktails en veel te harde muziek. DJ heeft z'n playlist bij een pakje boter gekregen vermoed ik. €15 betaald voor deze vreselijke ervaring. Ik wens het m'n ergste vijand nog niet toe.

Very racist place; we have minority people they "don't like in our party" and everyone of us got kicked out of the queue because "they were closing". After that a lot of posh people were allowed to get in (not even at the invetees queue, just at "poor people queue"), and we weren't given just an explanation more than "we are closing and look to my uniform".

At this was open until 6am I was expecting something a but dodgy but it turned out to be a really nice venue with good sound. One night was playing funk and soul. Another night was a busier Erasmus and pub crawl night and it was packed. The DJ played a bit of dance then hip-hop then pop so catered to all tastes. The bar staff are a bit weird. My friend tried to pay on card and was told she needed ID to do so. She didn't have any so the barmaid poured two rum and cokes (worth 14 euros) down the sink! Why not just give it to her/take the card payment?!

A pessoal mais alta que lá trabalha, creio que seja o chefe de 'sala' não se sabe movimentar entre as pessoas empurrando-as a meio dos espetáculos, deve achar que por ser mais rápido da menos nas vistas e para além disso ainda consegue ser mal educado para com os clientes. A parte disto, talvez uma das melhores programações em Lisboa.

La chica de la entrada era una mal educada, parecía la encargada, no ha hablado con un desprecio y un despotismo que no entendemos. Aún así pagamos diez euros por la entrada, pero si salíamos a fumar fuera no nos dejaba entrar. No te ponen sello ni nada. Luego te cobran 7 euros por un cubata en una basó pequeño de plástico. Una mierda de sitio!!!!

Went to see to see Tim baker, awesome aucustic, drinks where reasonable priced, absolutely hate that smoking was allowed, the smell is unbearable. But I'd definitely go again to see a concert as the sound is amazing!

Mal ambiente. La seguridad tiene dos neuronas y con las peleas y carteristas que te arruinan la noche...

Ambiente muy raro y agresivo por parte de la gente y de los porteros, no recomiendo venir si quieres disfrutar de la fiesta.

Cheguei no local e uma atendente loira disse que eu estava bebado e não poderia entrar, obs eu não bebo... paguei 30 euros para entrar e curtir meu show com minha namorada que por sinal foi agredida pela mesma só por sermos brasileiros acho, e triste você ser estrangeiro em um país e ser tratado com esse nível de arrogância de uma mulher que é digna de pena pois quando ficou sem argumentos chamou os seguranças. Uma pena pois perderam não só eu como muitos outros amigos meus que já souberam da nossa situação.

Comprei dois ingressos de presente para meu namorado, e não me deixaram entrar, moça loira na portaria super preconceituosa, racista e mau amada, ficamos 1 hora na fila para entrar e quando chegou minha vez (simplesmente não nos deixaram entrar) me expulsaram como animais. Casa noturna que ganha em cima dos ingressos que vende e não deixam os cliente entrar. Ameaçaram de chamar a polícia se eu insistisse em entrar na casa, sendo que tinha os ingressos comprados. Falta de respeito com os cliente, seguranças e staff muitos mau educandos. Gastei 30€ e não me deixarM assistir ao show. Ladroes, golpistas e mercenarios. A polícia precisa fazer algo a respeito.

La rubia de la entrada es peor que Melisa la de Hogar Social Madrid. Nos expulsaron por ser un grupo multitudinario.

Very good DJ on the night I visited. Arrived at 3am left at 5:30am. No problem with security, very friendly. Arrived with a group of 10. Entry was €15 with any 2 free drinks of your choice included. Shots for €3/€3.50. Air conditioned party room, only 1 dance floor. In general a good atmosphere. Would recommend.

Estafa. Intentan timarte constantemente. El trato al cliente es pésimo. La rubia de la entrada espanta a los clientes e intenta estafarte. La entrada tiende a costar 10 euros y viene con un supuesto descuento. Cuando pides tu primera copa te percatas de que los precios son astronómicos. En resumen, una completa estafa.

Avoid this place! Music is terrible (and too loud; even with protection). We went in march & the place was almost empty (altough they let us wait a long time at the doors just to give the impression that it was crowded).

É uma discoteca que tem uma situação especial: liga a rua Nova do Carvalho á rua de São Paulo mas por baixo da rua do Alecrim. Já se chamou Texas Bar ( de má fama) mas os actuais donos souberam resgatá-la. É uma discoteca interessante. Ontem assisti lá ao lançamento do livro "História do Rock", que foi um sucesso.

Mitten im Kuss und Tanz mit meiner Freundin wurde ich von einem der Türstehern aus dem Klub rausgeschmiessen und draußen von zwei Türstehern und einem Passanten geschlagen. Worst club ever.. Türsteher sind Schweine.

Foi uma experiência muito má e a não repetir. Razões: 1. Antes de entrar tens sempre que esperar na fila mesmo que o bar esteja vazio. Deve ser uma estratégia para que se pense que o local é muito concorrido. 2. As casas de banho cheiram a esgoto. 3. A antipatia e a agressividade são as características que unem a gerência da casa aos empregados. O lema deles parece ser: "Os clientes são coisas". Fomos maltratados. Este sítio vive de turistas que só la vão uma vez, mas como atualmente há muitos por lisboa, eles la se vão safando.

Great atmosphere. Friendly and cool people. Mixed crowd. Reasonable entry prices. We visited on Saturday night and there was house music playing. We enjoyed the music a lot more on the Sunday when they played a mix of soul, disco, funk and blues.

Club de boa qualidade, exagera nos preços a porta = 9-15 eur ao inicio da semana (comparado com clubs maiores e de top). Publico tendencialmente jovem e estrangeiro.

Unique place and location, they offer a big variety of live concerts and music genres. Drinks are not cheap but still its a must visit location for anyone that loves music. Vintage look inside. Entrance requires a ticket purchase but its usually from 6-10euros.

One of the few places that closes 6 am in that area. Every kind of music , depending of the DJ or day you can enjoy or not, depending what you like.

One of the best and more diverse houses around. Cool cats here. Good music. Though it's hugely crowed there. Sound could be better. Also the smoke extraction and air conditioning could be working always. Not just when people complaint. Hope all is better now on this department.

Musica eletrônica com muito bom vibe.

Ich war letzte Woche in Lissabon und wollte mit Jeans und Bayern Pullover (ich war auf dem Bayern Spiel) in den Clun und wurde nicht in den Club gelassen. Durch einen portugiesischen Übersetzer fand ich heraus, dass die Türsteher allgemein keine Leute, die erkennbar waren durch ihre Bayern Kleidung, in den Club gelassen wurden. Daraufhin wollte ich eigentlich nur mit dem Club Besitzer sprechen und ihm sagen, dass ich ein allgemeines ausschließen einer Gruppierung nicht in Ordnung finde. Leider wurde ich daraufhin von dem Personal sofort angemacht und es wurde mir gesagt, dass es reicht wenn ich mit den Türstehern spreche. Als ich dann zuerst ein Foto von dem Türsteher machen wollte und er dies ablehnte habe ich mich dazu entschlossen die ID seines Ausweises, den er um den Hals trug, zu notieren um mich später per email an den Club Besitzer wenden zu können. Daraufhin riss er sich den Ausweis vom Hals und steckte ihn ein und bedrohte mich wenn ich nicht sofort verschwinde wird noch etwas passieren. Ebenfalls sprach ich daraufhin mit anderen Portugiesen, die das ganze Beobachteten und meinten ich soll das doch sein lassen mit dem Türsteher sei nicht zu spaßen. Ganz abgesehen davon, dass allgemein keine Bayern Fans in den Club gelassen wurden finde ich das Verhalten des Personals unterste Schublade. So verhält man sich nicht gegenüber möglichen Kunden außer man hat anscheinend genügend Kunden um auch so überleben zu können. Ich werde nie in meinem Leben in diesen Club gehen, weil ich soetwas nicht unterstützen werde. Schade, dass es zu dem Vorfall in Lissabon gekommen ist. Sonst kann ich nur von positiven Eindrücken berichten. Eine wunderschöne Stadt mit liebevollen Menschen. Kein Stress mit irgendwelchen Leuten oder Fans der gegnerischen Mannschaft und das obwohl ich den ganzen Tag erkenntlich mit Bayern Pullover/ Trikot und Schals durch die Stadt geschlendert bin. Und an dem gewissen Abend war ich auch mit 2 Portugiesen und einem Brasilianer feiern, die ich kurz zuvor auf der Straße nach dem Weg gefragt habe. Echt super nette Menschen, die da leben.

Hi was in Lisbon last week.... The pink street is really a great place to party .... Don't be amused with the crowd outside music box... The staff there are the worst people I have met in Lisbon ....n it is just a hyped place ... Staff is RUDE ... So I suggest music box is an absolutely not to visit place in Lisbon ..!!!!

Bom clube, muitas pessoas de outros lugares e bastante animado. Toca música brasileira de baixo nível (no dia que fomos) e a cerveja Heineken estava com gosto ruim.

Great music, expensive drinks. Not a great place to hear a slow paced concert, the high power AVAC units that are used to pump the tobacco smoke out make a lot of noise which is quite annoying during intended pauses in a music.

By far the best venue/club in Lisbon, possibly the world. Amazing vibe, awesome music and super friendly staff!

Nice atmosphere, good acoustics and visuals. Don't really have resident dj's but offer a variety of gigs.

Kleine nachtclub in de ruimte onder een viaduct in de populaire wijk Bairro Alto, die eigenlijk niets bijzonders biedt. Bovendien wordt er binnen stevig gerookt, is het er vaak overvol en zijn de aanwezige drugsdealers behoorlijk irritant.

Um local com som único, alternativo house, techno, hardrock, bom ambiente, bandas ao vivo, ambiente de encontro, amigos e conhecidos.

Bonne expérience, toutefois, l'ambiance n'est pas "régulière" et tandis que certains soirs sont gratuits et l'ambiance très bonne, d'autres sont payants et à la musique variable. A faire.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! They are disgusting. My friend and i was let away from one of the shows because of their face control. If you're not "fancy" enough, you won't be let in. Disgusting.
