The jam was super. The musicians were superb. The drinks were chip. The atmosphere was privileged. We liked it much!

A cosy little jazz bar in the heart of Lisbon. They run two sets a night; one at half ten and one at midnight, and doors don't open til ten. You don't need a ticket and can pay on the door for about ten euros.
The music is great and the club attracts some serious talent so expect a high calibre performance. Seating can be a bit of an issue so get there early to make sure you can sit down.
A great spot that should be on everyone's list.

Quando lo spazio non coincide con le emozioni. Assolutamente THE JAZZ CLUB. We don't mind if there was no place to sit inside.. It worth it.

..입장료10유로, 쿠바에서 처음으로 재즈바를 접해서 그 기대감을 갖고 공연을 보러 갔는데, 뭔가 간질간질 거리는 느낌이 나고 흥이 나면 좀더 좋았을탠데 그정도까진 아녔다. (주관적인 느낌. 다른 공연들은 그렇지 않을 수도 있겠지) 재즈노래를 들으러 간 거였는데 기대에 못미쳐서 4.. 그 외에 맥주 안마시고 노래만 들어도 되니깐 꼭 맥주를 사서 마실 필요는 없다.

Went to play at the jam but had to leave before it even started (later than 00:30) because of transport. What a waste of time! Website says it starts at 22:30 but it doesn't.

Spettacolare locale dove si ascolta un favoloso jazz. Il locale è storico, forse il più antico di Lisbona. Da lì sono passati famosi jazzman storici. Informatevi sugli orari ma perfavore non mancatelo. Si vive un'esperienza irripetibile.

The oldest jazz club in Europe! The greats have played here. Very cool venue, affordable drinks, and awesome outdoor seating area. The open jam session has some of the best musicians in town.

El sitio es bastante acogedor, el precio no está mal, 2'5€ la cerveza y hay días que puedes disfrutar de música Jazz en directo de forma gratuita, otros si te toca pagar entrada, pero vale la pena.

One of the best jazz bars in Europe with fair entrance fee(10 euros).
Program I've watched was and it was very educational. Performers explained brief history of each music they played.
The bar was literally "densely packed" with jazz fans even on the weekday.
Highly recommended for jazz fans visiting Lisbon and young jazz artists who seek to learn.

Em viagem a Portugal , fui conhecer o Hot Club no dia 06/10 , um sábado, o local estava tão cheio que não dava nem pra ficar em pé , detestei, fiquei uns quinze minutos e fui embora ,portanto aos sábados não vá .

Highly recommended. I had an awesome time with Marcio Dhiniz playing at Hotclube. It's a great little jazz club, nice intimate room and a good audience and the music was excellent and even magical at times. The host was exceedingly friendly and helpful. The club is wheelchair accessible - just ask to have the door without a step opened.

Si te gusta el jazz y sus variantes este es tu sitio en lisboa, pagas una entradits de 10 € aproximadamente y las cervezas a 2:50 € y no se oye ni una mosca, un respeto por la música total.

Un sitio estupendo si te gusta la música en directo de jazz. Recomiendo ir con mucha antelación, puesto que nosotros fuimos media hora antes de que comenzase el espectáculo y nos quedamos sin entrada, como mucha otra gente. Al final tuvimos que esperar una hora y media en la puerta hasta poder entrar a la segunda función). No es posible comprar entrada anticipada, tienes que ir. Son 10 euros por persona. Las consumiciones dentro son asequibles.

Noite incrível com Rita Maria e Joao Neves adorei a sua energia bem como de toda a orquestra dirigido por Luis Cunha.Clube icônico de Lisboa num espaço muito intimista , é necessário comprar bilhetes antes da hora da sessão pois o espaço é pequeno para a afluência mas vale a pena o esforço. Ambiente acolhedor e frequência multicultural e terraço na parte detrás do palco.

Oldest jazz club of Lisboa (although not at its original location anymore), always live jazz and always 10€ per person entrance fee that needs to be paid in cash (no cards).
Although performances are great most of the times, I don’t like it being so uptight that people are not allowed to talk, it’s a jazz club for crying out loud!

예술을 할거면 집 방구석에서 했으면 좋겠고 사람들 돈받고 하는 공연이면 그에 걸맞는 상업적인걸 해야한다고 생각함. 진짜로 들으면서 너무 화가나고 짜증이 났음. 현대미술이든 예술에 대해 항상 비판적인 편도 아니고 수용한다고 느꼈는데 이곳에서 느낀건 진짜 분노였음. 진짜 알 수 없는 불협화음으로 소리지르고 이상한 소리 내는데 그냥 예술병걸린 사람이 만든 퍼포먼스같았음. 이걸 20분 30분했으면 참았을거임 하지만 한 노래로 1시간 넘게 그 짓을 보고 있는 관객들도 얼마나 고역인지 좀 알아야함. 한국이었으면 정말 코멘트 남기고 가고싶을 정도였고 우리 말고 다른 관객분들도 다 졸고 힘들어하고 중간에 나가고 박수도 진짜 형식적으로 칠정도면 할 말 다한거라고 봄. 진짜 어이없어서 웃음이 나왔고 입장료 10유로에 음료 5유로가 너무 아까웟음.

Pequeño local de jazz donde puedes disfrutar de una gran variedad de conciertos, en su página web puedes ver su programación, cada mes esta lleno de eventos y los conciertos a veces tienen dos pases, cada uno de aproximadamente una hora, te recomiendo ir pronto para coger sitio, si llegas sobre la hora del concierto es posible que no encuentres asiento.

Every time I go there is a good jazz band playing. Great live music, always. Nice atmosphere. Smoke free place but there is an outdoor patio where a person can smoke, chat and drink.

Ten stars ✨ ! Lucky enough to hit a free entry jam session night headed up by an amazing stand up bass player and the people who came to play were awesome . Owners were great. Cocktails reasonable. Small intimate (seats maybe 60 but has fab open beer garden in the back). It's been around since 1948. One of the owners has been there since he was 18 ... 30 years ago! True jazz lovers.... it's all about the music for them and it shows.
