An amazing concert which gave me goose bump all the way. At the end, I even got myself a CD. Musicians and singers were astonishing. I would definitely go again. And I would happily pay again to avoid having to go though the Alfama area where restaurant owners and waiters are harrassing you in the street for you to chose their restaurants !

Pour un béotien, c'est très sympa. Une belle gamme de possibles sont présentés avec un bon rythme. La salle n'est pas extraordinaire, mais rien de bien méchant.

レンタカーで行きました。
真下が立派な日本人にも慣れ親しんだ感じの駐車場がありました。
ショーを見て、夕飯食べて、さらに観光して帰っても6ユーロくらいでした。
現金のみの自動精算機でした。
縦列駐車を後ろから車や路面電車が次々と来る中やるのは日本人には至難の業ですし、
潔くこちらの駐車場に停めるのが一番おススメ。
24時間営業です。
ファドインチャドは劇場が映画館風でしっかりとしていて、トイレなどもしっかりしていて日本人向きです。
オープニングのギター音を聴いて、一気に気持ち良くなりました。
1時間で終わるし、おススメです。
近くの展望台と教会と合わせて観光しちゃいましょう。

Bonne expérience. Le lieu n'est pas très typique en soi, c'est un petit amphithéâtre, qui ressemble plus à une salle de concert .Amateurs de culture traditionnelle, s'abstenir. Mais c'est suffisant pour découvrir le fado. Les chanteurs et les guitaristes sont très professionnels. Avons passé un très bon moment, même mes ados...

Beautiful experience, they sing with a lot of heart and even interacted with the public. There where 3 men (1 Singer, 2 playing instruments) and a woman. Cultural places likes this one should always be supported and it is worth it to just go and see it, instead of having it in the background while having dinner.

I have really enjoyed the show. Great guitarist. However it didn’t give me any goosebumps. You have a authentic bar 3min away called “Cafe Alface” where the bands play live music every evening and it’s for free - and in my opinion it was much better. But I do have great respect for the Portugal heritage music and it was simply beautiful.

Interesting taste of Portuguese folk music, but it's in Portuguese (duh) so you're going more for the melody and guitar action. Good if you like cultural stuff, but might be a bit boring if you're hoping for some drama or action on stage.

Diese tägliche Vorführung bietet eine geplante Möglichkeit Fado kennen zulernen. In 50 Minuten werden verschiedene Lieder in portugiesisch von 2 Sänger begleitet von 2 Musiker präsentiert.
Niemand von unserer Gruppe versteht portugiesisch, aber wird haben es alle trotzdem sehr genossen.
Unsere Gruppe bestand aus Männer zwischen 30 und 40. Alle anderen Zuschauer waren leider viel älter, aber sehr nett. :-)

In einem uncharmanten Kinosaal singen und musizieren 2 Musiker und 2 Sänger den Fado, dazwischen werden mit einem Beamer mehrsprachige Informationen auf die Leinwand projiziert. Die Akteure waren sicher nicht schlecht, aber es wirkte alles recht lustlos und steril.

Buenos músicos y buenos cantantes. Si quieres escuchar música portuguesa es buen sitio. El problema es que como espectáculo falla un poco, los números son inconnexos y falta que cuente una historia. Si la cuenta, estaría bien algún folleto para los que no entendemos el portugués. De todos modos, lo recomiendo.

I think this concert hall is a great alternative to the widespread mix of fado and so-so dinners in bar, where the mix is kind of satisfying, but you neither experience a good fado nor an excellent food.
The show was good, professional performers that really could onboard one on the fado journey. Their interactions with the audience were really fun!

Fado que emociona. Después de buscar entre muchas opciones de restaurantes para oír fado, elegimos el Fado in Chiado. Fue todo un acierto. Es un teatro con músicos y fadistas que te animan a cantar con ellos, mientras en una pantalla detrás del escenario van proyectando imágenes de Lisboa. Una hora de espectáculo, sin preocupaciones de oír fado en locales llenos, mientras comes.

Interessante per ascoltare belle voci e canzoni ma non è uno spettacolo vero e proprio come forse ci si aspetta che sia da come viene presentato nelle pubblicità. Dura circa 45 minuti e comincia alle 19 quindi potrebbe essere un’idea prima di andare a cena e per avere un’idea di cosa le canzoni del Fado

Loved the music. Good singers and players, but this is not very authentic and targets tourists only. Fado is to be listened to in a dark restaurant, but the (pricey) food is apparently not the best in these restaurants.

ファドを聴けるコンサートホールです。レストランではありません。
出演者は、ポルトガルギターの奏者2人、歌手男女1人ずつ、4人で1時間のステージでした。
歌の部分では、簡単なリフレインを観客も一緒に歌えるように誘導してくれて、皆で楽しめました。
ステージの映像でもポルトガルの景色など楽しめたし、ギター演奏のバックでは日本語を含め８カ国語でファドの説明書きも読めたし、満足できる経験でした。

Очень здорово! Если кто-то хочет посмотреть фаду как концерт, а не с едой в ресторане, то вам однозначно сюда. Профессиональное исполнение. Соглашусь с одним из виденных в интернете отзывов, что исполняют больше городской романс, чем фаду, не "грузят" драматизмом и душераздирающими композициями. Но поскольку это туристический вариант, то всё предсказуемо. Мне очень понравилось. Да, ещё плюс - это время. Шоу с 19 до 20, что тоже может быть важно для тех, кто приехал не ночной жизнью жить ( да ещё 3 часа разницы сказываются...) Цена была, насколько помню, 18 евро, длится представление чуть меньше часа. Найти нетрудно. Ожидание представления комфортное. Рассадка свободная.

Great option for those who don't want to combine dinner/drinks and fado music. Fado in Chiado is strictly a concert, with two guitar players and two singers. The venue is in the 3rd floor (the signs you follow, taking the escalator, all indicate 2nd floor due to the difference in the European and the US floor numbering system) and it is a first come first seated basis, but there are always seats available. Photography/video allowed but without flash. The show duration is about 50 minutes. Very good experience.

Mooie fadovoorstelling. Duurt een klein uur. Wij vonden het prachtig. Maar was ook lang genoeg. In deze theateropstelling zonder eten en drinken. Het publiek wordt goed bij het optreden betrokken. Een aanrader om voor het avondeten te doen. Even rond 18.00 uur telefonisch reserveren.

This is just the singing and guitars - no meal or drinks included. Great Portuguese guitar and the female singer had a lovely voice. Definitely not somewhere the locals would go (the performance is in an auditorium, not a bar or restaurant), but if you're looking for a taste of the musical style, this is a good introduction.

Wunderschönes Event zur familienfreundlicher Zeit!
Eine wirklich gelungene Vorstellung mit sehr schönem Fado Gesang und vor allem nicht endlos lange. Sicher ist solch ein Vortrag in einer urigen Bar noch etwas anderes, aber hier wurde wirklich gute Gesangs-Qualität geboten.

I would recommend choosing a different place for Fado performance. This seemed very touristy and artificial to me, with quite silly games with the audience and bad ambience. The price is also quite high for a 50min performance.

Eher Folklore, man musste sogar klatschen und mitsingen. Von der bekannten Fado-Traurigkeit habe ich nichts bemerkt. War eher von Fremdschämen geprägtes, genau auf 50 Minuten getimtes, steriles Touristen Konzept im zweiten Stock eines Einkaufszentrums. Einer der Gitarristen war sehr gut, die drei anderen Künstler fand ich persönlich nicht sehr gut, aber was weiß ich schon. Werden definitiv im Alfama des nachts noch auf die Suche nach authentischem Fado gehen. Auch wenn das Essen zuweilen nicht sehr gut und überteuert sein soll. Aber das hier kann's auch nicht sein! Die Stimmung kommt einfach nicht rüber

Molto caro il biglietto 18 € a testa. Sala tipo cinema piccola e troppo piena. i due chitarristi sono stati veramente bravi ed anche i due cantanti (uomo e donna), ma le canzoni del repertorio più che il vero "Fado" rappresentavano le canzoni popolari portoghesi. Belle si, ma noi abbiamo pagato per ascoltare del Fado.

En principio no iba muy convencida. El fado siempre me ha parecido un poco aburrido, aunque reconozco que hay que tener una voz muy buena y muy especial para cantar lo bien. En este espectáculo en concreto cantaba una mujer y un hombre algunas canciones por separado y otras en dueto. Sinceramente me encantó

Le lieu semble en perte de vitesse mais tient bien grâce à quelques boutiques et surtout la petite salle de spectacle où tous les soirs le fado à sa place pour nous les touristes. Les chanteurs sont talentueux. Un lieu incontournable pour connaître une bonne base du fado par des chants traditionnels et symboliques.

If you are a traveler who loves music, you should visit this place! You may enjoy traditional chiado music which concert is around 50 mins. When I visited there in Jan, ticket was still available just before the show starts.

Great music and musicians. I would recommend telling people about the lyrics of the songs since not everyone speaks portuguese. They do an intro in many languages that talks about the Fado genre, maybe use the same technique to say a little something about the songs? And...I think as performers, if you have a problem with your fellow artist (in this case the singers), you leave those problems at the door and not take them onstage. It is disrespectful to an audience to have to witness singers giving each other dirty looks.

Nous sortons du spectacle de fado , c'est magnifique et très professionnel dommage qu'il n'ait pas plus de publicité car cela vaut vraiment le détour , autant pour le chanteur la chanteuse la guitare portugaise et la guitare classique ils sont tous excellents , 50 mn de bonheur pour 17€, mieux que dans n'importe quel restaurant .....

Buenos cantantes, buenos músicos, buena acústica, precio razonable.
Espectáculo de Fado en vivo, especialmente para aquellos que buscan escuchar el Fado, sin comidas alrededor u otras distracciones del entorno.
Recomendable.
Nota: En nuestro caso, fuimos con los tickets comparados online.
